360° Camera Inside a Spherical Mirror (Interactive Version)
Mar 29, 2024Hello everyone, you might notice something a little different in this video. You are in 360° and it is
interactive
. You can move where you want and see what you want by rotating thecamera
angle, so if you're on your phone you can tilt it. or drag it with your finger as you want or if you are on a PC you can click and drag it wherever you want. The reason we do this today is because we want to see what it's like to be inside aspherical
mirror
. so I have a 360°camera
that you're looking through and this is what I put on the camera to make it look, so you'll notice that you look like some kind of cyclops, this is so you can better see what it reflects themirror
when you are inside it, before I made a video about a 360° mirror and posted it on YouTube and one of the top rated comments which got over 30,000 approval was saying how it would look like. have a 360° camera inside aspherical
mirror, so today we're going to do that.Well, the first thing we will do is take the two ham heads from the spherical mirror and move them slowly. in front and back of you so you can look around and see one coming towards you from the front and one coming towards you from behind, so let's see what it looks like, okay, here we go, at this point in which you are standing. in the middle of the spherical mirror and it is simply black, but not because there is no light inside; In fact, if we do it again with a light, you'll still see mostly darkness in the center, for example, let me put this light here with you and you'll notice. how it's still getting dark, so I'm going to put this light above you here, okay, now it will stay luminous inside and I'll lock you in the spherical mirrors again with you right in the center, so now Here inside again, even with a light in our head, we still see Darkness, you can make out some faint images and you can see some scratches and stain prints there, but other than that, you can't see anything, it's just It's a kind of black IM image with a faint body image, so notice it's shiny on the inside, but it still looks black everywhere you look.
Now let me show you why it looks so black. So I only have half of the spherical mirror. Look what happens when I get you only halfway so you shouldn't be looking at my face right now look at the spherical mirror that's right there so what you're looking at is your own eye notice what the black thing that's looking at your eye looks like , so in this case you are looking at the camera lens, in real life you would be looking at your own pupil, so right in the center of a spherical mirror, when you are inside it, you will see your own pupils, okay? do something a little different instead of being in the center of the spherical mirror which will be inside this half here and then I'll place the other half on top of you.
I'm going to put a light there so you can see, look at that great view of yourself, okay, here we go, going down to the top, it's completely closed now, so this is a little different than being in the center, you can make out your body now. I'm going to turn off the outside lights so you don't see the space around you, okay, let's do the same now, here we go, so you can see yourself in all your glory, look how weird it looks, okay, now I'm going to remove it, okay , so another. The good thing you can try is to see what happens when you approach the hemisphere of the spherical mirror and try to put something inside it.
Here we're going to notice how you're upside down right now, but if you go in a little bit further, then see yourself face up again, so now you're almost touching the back of the spherical mirror and if I move you again, you turn around and then you're face down again. Now the interesting thing is to see what happens when you put something inside. The spherical mirror seems to come out to touch you and can even enter itself. I'll link to another
