The 3 Reasons You Ride, by Jeff Tazz Welder, are actually three

reasons

why you

bought

the bike you have. -Eh, that changes it a little bit for me because you always know I can think of three

reasons

why I keep it, but the reason I

bought

it is actually very, very different because I didn't know anything about the KLR when I bought it . it was kind of a place where he wasn't he wanted a bike I didn't know where you were going I didn't know I wanted to go back to the dirty side of this being chained to the pavement yeah oh and I also ended up with really fast motorcycles because honestly that equals really fast motorcycles , very uncomfortable, yeah, and it hurt too much when going 25 minutes into the city for coffee is painful, that sucks, yeah, so I thought maybe we should video respond to Jeff and maybe.

3 reasons why i bought the klr 650 masons adv 3 r s challenge...

The three of us could come up with three reasons why we bought our bikes, so I'll start and my number one reason for buying the KLR 650 was because I wasn't writing my Zed x12. until I actually had to ride it somewhere due to the fact that I was very uncomfortable and had simply lost interest in riding it on roads I had ridden hundreds of times, so when Mrs. Mason told me: I think you should sell your bike. I couldn't be without a bike and I knew I needed to get back into something so I started looking into dual sports and the number two reason I bought the KLR 650 is because of the price so when I started shopping I knew I wanted to sell my 12 and a half for the cost of purchasing the new bike and honestly this is the only one other than maybe the dr650 that had the Lola stand and then I bought it.

This bike looks like I've never ridden one before, I thought what the hell I'm probably going to ride it more than I was riding it at 12 at the time. I had it before, but that's where I bought it, so that was my G number, reason why the hell. would be my third reason why not, yeah, I think my third reason really comes down to his dual sport ability, so the ability to get me off the pavement, which was really a goal, and he had seen me as, I mean, I looked at everything and the one that was probably the highest on the list of possibilities was the Ducati Multistrada simply because of its engine, so in my mind at that time it was giving me an engine that was very, very powerful, very dynamic, very sporty, similar to what it came with the ability to go where I want and it makes a lot of sense, you can use the KLR as a freebie, yes you did, you had your motocross days on the dirt, yes, and that's obviously a bit harder on the body and a pretty big compromise, just throw one thing in and then you had your street bike side and without knowing it you can get the best of both worlds, yeah yeah it had a dual sport but it was split into two motorcycles, yes, yes, exactly and me.

I knew my track days were over and I had a feeling my street days were coming to an end too just because it was uncomfortable and I didn't want to go fast anymore, so yeah, those were really the three things I certainly didn't. are. The three reasons I kept my KLR 650 because it met all my expectations, but we're just having fun. Those are my three. The shooter may have bought his. I had one and it was good, yeah, why, well, the first time I saw it here. it's like you literally just bought it my house yeah I looked at it and said there's a guy on a bike because very few others are cool faster they don't get along no that's true you had your career as a cyclist street was short-lived. that's very expensive, let's stick with the fact that you're always in the country, it's not new to you, it just was and that was the point of interest for me was riding a motorcycle with you, but I can still turn around to go to my you .
I know if I should have or yes, yes, and I think with your experience, your mechanical background, a perfect fight that you love to read, John, thank you, it's a biker, there are tons of modifications available, the parable, yes, if you have the knowledge I mean there's a bike right under you that won't let you down anywhere with your knowledge following here lead the first winter I had I heard it even rolled that did like everyone known to man oh right yeah , it's done right away because that's how I like that, I really agree that part of what was intriguing about the KLR for me was the ability to want, I loved playing and it gives us something to do in the winter, Our winters are long here, yes, it's okay, Bentham, where do you come from?
Why did you buy that? I sold the WR and I think that gave me an idea of the dual sport. I really like the bike. There wasn't much of a group back then, if you remember there was, you know, no, the hardcore motocross. I was still doing the motocross side, which the WR didn't really fit. The Adventure side really so I told him the bike was becoming me, I was just hanging around, I didn't have the time and it didn't really fit in either. I wasn't sure what my next step was going to be and at the time I thought maybe it could even be a road bike just to get out and do more road trips to the office, you know, stuff like that, the KTM 690 called to me attention and in fact, this bike didn't even come to mind.
Well, there was the 690 because I felt I was able to have the adventurous eyes to ride a little. I came out, to be honest, it was pretty much what the bike looked like in the specs. so it was an exciting looking bike instead of the WR, obviously no slouch, but you know, it wasn't. I was always riding the 350 I found a demo of the 701 and I started to look at it and it was almost the same bike as it is. What got me to seventh was if it was a price, I actually ended up liking the bike more, the bike itself, the group and how the group was evolving.
I thought I'd be setting up some kind of crossover between them and then. the price is fun to remember and that's what I love about these little tic videos where they surround us. It makes me think that you obviously know the reasons why you bought it, but James has a lot of school to remember it. but you're absolutely right, three reasons to keep it or completely different, I would say I have three reasons to keep it, three reasons to get rid of it, there you go, thanks guys, thanks for helping me, there you go Jeff, that's it.
Our three reasons now we have to do the KLR gnomes raving I know there are more than three but I want to hear what these guys have to say because as someone who comes from a different background, motorcycling probably has a different reason. why do you want KLR so let's throw it at that is any of you any of the people who follow Kahler's ravings how about in honor of the melon we nominate melon to comment on the general lighting of the mayor regular and melon Kol? they're delusional and melon we could go through a hole and focus or the walters falls area yeah thanks sometimes you get lost in all the traps eh sometimes my dad tells the best story when he first came to cannon and then to Ontario. to the farm over there, yeah, they were driving through Walters Falls when they got completely lost, they had their mother with them and they just kept going around, they kept coming to the same roads, finally they got to the top of the hill and there was a cruise. sitting there and dad says oh thank god he pulls up in the patrol car and rolls down the window and says can you tell me how the hell to get out of here?
The policeman says no, I'm completely lost here like in the Bermuda Triangle, that's what. that's exactly maybe Benavidez alone, yeah, that's one of those places where you let him please anyway, that's enough, thanks for watching guys, we'll see you in the next one.
