More Interesting Facts About,

3 days solo survival no food no water no shelter in out back australia...

There's nothing left in that bag, so it's just you, me, a knife, a fishing line and a hook here in the bush, so we're going to try to survive, we're going to try to get food. We have to try to collect some water, but the first thing we're going to do is find our heading north, so we're going to make a compass, we're going to use the sun we're going to use a stick, we're going to find our way to the north and we are going to continue walking through the mountains, so that is what we are going to do now, we are going to put on a little makeup. a bush compass so I've been walking through this bush for about three hours and now what I've done is a car dropped me off on the road way up there, it's about a three hour walk to where I'm probably now I have another two hours, hour and a half of walking ahead of me before I reach the destination I want to go to, but what happens is that when you are here in the bush, you are in this type of bush area. everything looks identical and everything looks the same and these trees are big enough that you can't see over them, so it's very, very easy to get lost disoriented in the bush, especially when you don't have a compass on you , but there is a way you can find your east, north, south and west axis using the sun and using a stick, so let's run this quickly, now I'm going to find my north. bearing and we're going to keep pushing north, so what you want to do is find the straightest stick possible, so this section here is absolutely perfect for what we want to do, all you have to do is hit this stick. on the ground, make sure it stays there, it's going to be there for about 20 to 30 minutes, so keep that stick as upright as possible.

We are using sunlight to cast that shadow. Make yourself a nice little bed here, this little piece of kangaroo. I'm just going to drop it on the tip of the shadow of the stick, so this compass is already doing its job, the kangaroo shoots there, the stick moves very slowly as the sun moves, the stick moves, so I'm going to leave this here. for about 20 to 30 minutes I'm going to walk through the bush, we'll try to find materials that will help us start a fire tonight, we'll try to find anything that will help us tonight and, um, We'll come back to this stick in 20 to 30 minutes.

Draw a line and that should give us our north so we can keep moving in the direction we want. Well, look at this. You can see how much it has moved since we arrived. He's gone, so it's been 20-30 minutes. That's the initial piece of kangaroo that we put there at the beginning, so we'll take another little one here, little candies, and we'll drop it on the tip. of that shadow now what you do is because this little piece of kangaroo the stick has gone to that side I know if I draw a line or if I put a stick down so it's west that's going to be east now if I take another stick and make a cross with what is now my compass.
I know that if I stay here I can stay like this, that line over there is north, so we have north, south, east and west just by using a stick and the sun and We want to head north, so there It's where we're going. We're just following this. You can see this animal track very well used. Kangaroos and goats. Let's follow this track north. Hopefully it'll take us over that ravine and then, um, take it. somewhere for the night spiders there we go that's actually not bad at all you're not saying that another man's garbage is another man's treasure that there will help us contain any type of food liquid water that is an incredibly bloody fine that The backpack goes straight, it's epic.
This is what's happening right now. I've arrived at the destination I wanted to reach this afternoon. I just made it past the sunset. That sun is setting. I'm so thirsty that almost all day I was walking through that land of bushes. Now We've gotten to the edge of this bank, the river is right behind there and I thought we found the perfect sleeping cave full of bees, man there was a huge beehive in the back of that cave so I'm trying to find a couple more caves I can rest in tonight because as soon as it gets dark I don't have a flashlight, I have nothing to see tonight and, um, we're pretty much going to be sitting in a cave until the sun comes up tomorrow morning , so we're going to try to find a cave before it gets dark so I can explore the cave, make sure there are no bees, make sure there are no hornets and wasps and whatever else, and then I'll just be standing there. here and this mother of a kangaroo like a big red was standing right here and she just darted into the bush which was a big man roux so um no nature is here we just have to go find a place where this one can sleep evening.
I'm not going to have time to make a shelter and, um, in these kinds of situations when you're trying to survive, you should try to preserve your energy anyway and not build a shelter if you can find one, so I'm just going. To keep moving forward that way, hopefully we can find a cave or something we can curl up in and then the next thing is to light a fire. I'll show you why, here we go, let's take a look at this. Here's another beautiful one. cave that is perfect for sleeping at night look at that, okay I hope there are no bees in here, that's epic, this is exactly what I'm talking about, this cave is incredibly cool, it has a huge sandy bottom, actually, The whole floor is covered in rabbit, that's all rabbit, so there must be a couple of rabbits coming out of here, but this is a perfect cave to sleep in, it's big, we have a big roof up here over our heads, so that will stop the Jew. humid mornings I'm completely out of the wind here I am, I don't know what that is about 100 meters from the edge of the river, that's the edge of the river over there, so look, there will probably still be mosquitoes. bad, but they're not going to be so bad sitting on the edge over there, it's a pretty nice little place, I think I'm going to call it home, there are a couple of old wasps, although a couple of old wasp nests, but they are They look very old, they're just going to fall apart, there's nothing inside them.
Jesus Christ as a couple. Well, I guess I'll call it home. It's pretty incredible, so I spent the whole day walking to get to this point. I haven't had a drink of water, not even a sip of water. Dehydration is a damn thing. I tell you. I can barely, I can't even spit now. So what is the problem? There's a river right here. I'll take you there, there's a river down here now, but the problem is that I can't drink the water from that river without boiling it or purifying it or something. I drink that water as it is.
I'll be sick as a dog, so we'll have to try to start a fire like this, but I'll show you the river, what a beautiful view. The only problem is that I can't drink that water as it is right now. I really need to start a fire, that sun is absolutely going down, it's pumping down and, um, we need to start a fire, so what I'm looking for a material is to make some kind of bow drill, uh, so, that's perfect. uh oh come on ah boy come on come on yeah look at this come on come on it's smoking look at this look at this I can't stop come on oh look at this can you guys see the smoke look at this come on it's smoking? come on oh that's so close ah ah okay oh that smoke man come on baby far away why don't you work for me baba come on oh my god that was so close you see someone do this on a video you think it's easy I'm telling you now same, it's not, it's hard, look at my hands, man, my hands are completely red, raw, I've been working hard and it's about to go dark, that beautiful orange glow is almost gone, so sooner or later it will go away . to be completely dark you won't be able to see me I won't be able to see you I don't have a torch right now we don't have a fire yeah, come on, come on, big truck, that's it, come on Come on, he's smoking, come on, come on, that's it, come on, come on, come on , bubba, come on, that's gone, come on, baby, come on, baby, look at that ash, come on, that's, oh, that's work, man, this is absolutely ridiculous.
I have the driest, fluffiest grass, completely frilly and all the blood, it just doesn't require ignition. I have a different type of weed here, it doesn't require ignition. I have even this dry, crispy, crunchy, different, uniform, it's not even. a weed is like something weird it doesn't work I need to go find a proper type of tinder that I can put under this because look this is smoking like an absolute fucking champ this thing is working like an absolute champ actually those two are the axis and the seat are making smoke, there is real smoke coming out, the embers fall from the v that you cut in the wood and then it is left on top of this useless grass and the grass that I am sitting there blowing I don't take much, so it's about to get dark and I'm only going to do this until it's completely dark, so look, this is me tonight.
I am going to be here. I was just discovering that mosquitoes are really pretty. Damn, look at that big hammer on my elbow, there's a lot of bite marks here on my ankle and that's why you're wearing, that's why I'm wearing jeans, you're probably wondering why you're wearing jeans, these aren't even my jeans, man. I took them off as a companion when they left me on the side of the road because I knew the mosquitoes were going to smoke me, but this is me for the night. I'm going to keep trying to do this if I turn on That's it, I'm going to cheer up and bring you guys with me and if not, I'm just going to sleep in this cave in the dark, but it shouldn't be that bad, I'm literally just going to put on, put on. bag somewhere like that, use it as a pillow, there's that beautiful bottle we found today, throw it in there, that can also be a weapon in the middle of the night and, um, I'm going to lie down there on top of all that rabbit and that's me to spend the night, I don't want to go too far there, spiders, snakes, wasps, who knows, but anyway it's me to spend the night, look at this, that sun has completely set, almost epic, this is home , so it's about to get pitch black. and um I hope to see you in 10 20 30 minutes around the fire if not I'll just talk to you it's in the dark here we go to round two with that piece of trash oh oh you gotta be kidding me here's a real quick update currently It's 9:23 at night, we obviously have no fire, I have no way to light this cave right now, it's pitch black, the mosquitoes are completely destroying me, you don't even understand, this is the worst night I've ever had In my entire life the mosquitoes are thick I can't light a fire my hands the only light I get is from the camera lens and my hands feel like absolute blisters from trying to light the fire ah it's just the worst night of my life sitting in this cave and a strange ant crawls on me, but mosquitoes are just amazing.
I'm putting my hands and my arms inside my shirt and, um, I'm so thirsty. That's why we do it, but I'll do it anyway. um I'll keep you posted, I don't think I'm going to get much sleep tonight, but here we go, season in the morning or um, whatever happens, there are some huge kangaroos jumping outside, but I guess I'll see you in the morning it's 8 to 24 at night and this is going to be a dream why do I do this to myself oh man, that was the worst night of my entire life man oh man, good morning to you, it's a little cold, I'll tell you what if there was an eject button.
I would have pressed him last night. I haven't been this angry in a while. The mosquitoes were so bad. I had to sleep with my arms inside my shirt like this to prevent the mosquitoes from biting me. It kept me a little warm luckily I have a pair of jeans on look at this this is just look at this mosquito look these things are absolutely everywhere right? I didn't expect them to be so bad. but we spent the night and that was absolute. What I'm going to do is get back into a positive mindset and we can do anything here if you have a good mindset like that's the key right now I just feel like it was really a bad dream I haven't had water for a whole day and a whole night myof relocating those two little Slater bugs than I did.
I've cast They're right at the end of the green bushes here that are coming into the water, so hopefully there are a couple of small fish that have taken shelter there. They will come out. We will take food. We'll get one. We could be here all night. Oh come. come on it's a fish, oh yeah you're kidding, look at this, oh my god try this, that's what we call a growler and that thing just gobbled up two slate bugs, those baits have been there for quite a while, but finally I was successful. I've seen the line just moving, moving, moving, moving and then hitting, look at that, we've got a little growler that's epic, beautiful little fish, it's going right into the fire, let's see if we can get five or six more.
Oh, that's psycho. I can't believe it worked. Let's look for more mistakes from Slater. Please put him out of his misery. Let's look for more sliders. Yes sir. Take a look at this. Are you kidding? I just caught a mullet in my hat, are you actually kidding me? Man, you can't, you can't write, is that you, that's what's going on, man, that little fella, I just saw him swimming and I thought, oh, I'm going to use my Sombrero like a fishing net and actually We just threw it out of the water. It is the best bait there is.
I no longer have to look for bugs or crickets. Is incredible. I'll cut it into little pieces and throw it away. You're joking, that's fish, yes sir, that's very funny, oh no, there's another one. Look at the size of this little thing, it has a little bit of a wing, so I'm going to return it. These things have to be sized here in Australia and I can. I don't really hold on to it, but it's a beautiful little fish, let it go, oh see ya mate, that's the thing, if we catch a wing, they have to be 10 inches or 12 inches or something, so even though I'm starving .
I'm dying here I'm still going to abide by the rules yeah come on no another edge okay come on we have to get more of this growler look at this that one is bigger than my hand and I'm going to have to let it go because it's another edge that absolutely two of them would feed me ah come on I need to catch these growlers. I have a growler on the shore and that's it. I have never wanted to catch a fish so much. all my life I'm starving here we go here we go let's go yes sir there we go there's a little trumpeter a little growler that will be food we can keep that one that's two on the board and that sun is absolutely falling don I don't have much time, oh Oh my God, look at this, look at this, oh no, it was another one, oh, there it is, look, look at this, look at this, it comes back up, it comes up again, it's another suicidal mullet that's much bigger, it comes up here, it comes up . here there he is look ah he's not so sweet yes no he's not he's not stupid like his little companion another little growler that's three that's three for the fire yeah ah there we go that's four and it's getting bigger that's heavy yeah uh oh no have a Look at this, it's the four fish we have and that sun is absolutely pumping what I've done here.
I just made a little natural grill plate, so this is dry sticks, dry sticks are not going to be. They're going to burn and these fish are going to cook incredibly well, they're not huge but we have four and it's enough to make you swoon, that's for sure, it's better than eating bloody crickets, I'll give you the hot tip, oh look at this. that's that dish I made today with that crust absolutely happy this is going to be incredible look at this how good it is that there is a fish here cooking wonderfully I think I said before that in the dry sticks there are actually wet sticks the wet stick doesn't burn as fast as the fish cooks, so you get a perfectly cooked fish, there is no ash, there is no dirt on the fish and that generates a lot of heat.
These are going to be amazing, they are not the best tasting fish in the world. But it's my first meal in two

days

, so look, I'll take all I can get right now beautiful, oh yeah, I'll make the fire burn, keep the mosquitoes away tonight while the sun goes down the chill of our dinner, look that. four fresh fish that were literally caught no more than 20 minutes and half an hour ago that sun is setting quickly, it will be dark in 15 but that is our dinner for the night so we successfully caught food. I was actually a little worried once I started trapping them to the edge, I thought to myself that we're only going to have broom after wing, but we have four and that's enough to take a look at this, the skin will just come off the fish absolutely beautifully, you really can't eat. that, but look at this, how good, man, look at that pure white meat, all of that is edible, this little upper shoulder, no, but oh, look at that, separated from the bones, absolutely perfect, it's a piece of meat, is it? eh, tell you what for? shitty fish, it tastes great, cheers for catching a feed, it looks like I'm drinking a damn beer, but it's actually river water that's been on fire, but look at this, we've made a sustainable little house, we found shelter.
We started the fire, made drinking water and to top it off we even eat beautiful food, we don't eat fish, but to me this tastes absolutely amazing, any other day of the week in society that would be thrown in the trash, but around. here it's going down like absolute gold, it's actually not bad at all, I don't know if it's because I'm hungry or what, but it's pretty good, so the plan for me now is that I'll prepare for another night in this cave I have to go to collect firewood I want to go pluck some eucalyptus leaves from another tree so I can rub the leaves on my arms and my neck like I did last night, that worked great and then, I'm ready for the night I have a fire I have that container is full of drinking water half a can of water down here I'm pretty tidy I could go I could go and grab a couple of bits of kangaroo and throw them on the fire Usually that's a good deterrent against mosquitoes, but let's see how we quickly finish off these two little fish , we're going to get firewood and then, I guess we'll see each other in the morning, unless something interesting happens tonight, we'll record the The only problem is that we don't have torches.
Take a look at this man. Look where I am now. Most people would think that you put yourself in a situation with just a knife, fishing line and a hook, for three days sleeping in a cave in the. in the middle of nowhere and you'd be in a bad mood I'll tell you what buddy I'm in a really good mood right now check out where I am anyway I just wanted to quickly tell you that there is no shortage of firewood and there is absolutely no shortage of kangaroos check this out which is as cool as possible there must be a big dog around here somewhere there has to be take a look at this well I'm going to pick a huge log and drag it all the way back to the cave and um I guess I'll see you at the morning.
Much love, puppies. In all honesty, this is going to take a while. Stay in the morning. Wow, oh, how hot, how beautiful. Okay, welcome to day three. Sleeping last. The night was considerably much better for sleeping than the night before with a water fire, it just really makes it look better, it still wasn't an amazing sleep, the mosquitoes were still going strong, but the eucalyptus trees in my arms stopped . He was getting bitten on my knuckles and some ankles, but I slept pretty well compared to the night before, very happy with that. I've been sitting here since 3:30 this morning.
I could not sleep. There is a bug inside. cave, he just makes these high pitched noises and I actually woke up because I have cuts on my hands, I don't know what from dragging sticks or what, but absolutely sore hands don't help with that bow exercise we're on. doing that for hours and hours, my hands hurt, but everything is fine, pretty rested and ready for whatever the day throws at us, we've been sitting here since probably three, just boiling water, not boiling water, but keeping it hot and just pretending it's coffee, so I've been drinking hot water playing a little pretend that it's actually coffee and it's good anyway, let's see what today brings us, let's wait for the sun to come up, that won't take long, that will increase. up there and then, look what we do today, he likes birds, man, he's amazing, so, uh, okay, so what we just did here is something like a fish trap, so what happens is that this stick here is below. extreme tension right now, so this trap is actually loaded, so that stick is under tension, so this fishing line is going down to this rock, so what I did was I went and found the perfect rock.
This rock has a very sharp little edge. On it I went and made a little key or a little strike with a piece of wood, just a stick, and that little strike just catches on the corner of the rock, so the way it works is once the fish pulls of that loose line that's going to be floating in the water, there that fish is going to pull on that end of the strike and when that strike is pulled, it breaks free from the rock and then all this built up pressure just hits it and it should hook the fish. in the mouth so the reason you do something like this and not just throw the bait is if you're just going to float your boat there and you have a hook with no tension 99 of the time what happens is the fish will show up , they will peck at the bait and they will be able to swim away and you will have the hook out there without bait and you are literally wasting your time, but a method like this has the advantage of this.
The method is you can load up this trap, you can have some bait floating around and while you're away building a shelter gathering water trying to find different bits of food or even trying to get a little more bait. I have a much better chance of hooking that fish in the mouth and once it's hooked, it should stay there for a while. You'll hear this thing click when it goes off anyway, so as soon as you hear it, stop running. Go back, pick up your feed and, um, you can repeat the process over and over again, so what we'll do is throw in a little bit of that old mullet from yesterday and let it float there.
I still have that mullet in my Bag the suicide mullet, we'll float it over there and, um, see if we can get a fish in this fish trap, so, oh, yeah, okay, okay, so this is literally broken, look this. So it's been there for about 40 minutes. Take a look at this. Look at this. There's a wing right there and he's hooked it perfectly on the side of his mouth. I don't know if you can see it, but it's amazing. It actually works really well, so I hooked it on the side of my mouth. It's a beautiful little fish, look at the colors on it, but I don't know, that's been there for about 40 minutes, 40, 30 minutes and we finally got it.
The first piece of bait shows how effective these little traps are. If you were to put out 10 or 11 of these, if you have enough line and enough hooks, you could put out 10 or 11 of these and still be fishing. like this, so the joy is now that he has the hook in his mouth, what happens is this is what will happen when you come walking along the shore, you will see your stick, it will be dancing like this, look at that. That's when you know you have a fish and you quickly run over to it, you bring your fish and you're, you're eating well, look at this, okay, we'll put it back in the water, obviously we can.
Don't eat it, it's a wing, they need to be a certain size, so see you later buddy, bring on the big dogs, come on buddy, he goes, there you go, that was all done with a stick, a little homemade key and a stone. over there on that absolutely epic little technique, if you want to fish and you don't want to stand there holding the line, I tell you what, buddy, as soon as the sun comes out of the flies, it's getting hectic out here, so there you go. In fact, you can now fish using that rig method, if you had four or five hooks and enough fishing line, you could lay them out along the bank and check them every two minutes.
I mean you could live here indefinitely doing these methods I gave myself three days we came here without water or food or shelter a knife a hook and some fishing line and we have practically turned our backs on Australia in a habitable place we have methods to start fire using these sticks here we have a method of boiling water on fire and we have ways of fishing so these last three days have been good people say this is easy it's not easy at all my hands are burning you have nights without sleeping. you get bitten by the mosquito, but I guess that's the joy, I don't know, I love it, I do it for myself more than anything, it's more of a personal thing that I love to do and, um, there's a lot more of these things to come, so what I have to do now is a huge walk to the highway, probably four hours, what it took me to get here.
I have to go back that way again, so I'll love you, I'll leave you and it's been a pleasure to spend the while. I'll see you in the next video. Make sure they want to get your merch. Click this button here if you haven't subscribed. Press this button here. There are many more such

survival

videos to come and I will see them in the next video. Much love, puppies.
