model

and standard of current electric vehicles, so stay tuned. Until the end of the video to see what we think of these two cars here guys we have a premium 2023 Mustang Maki with the extended range battery pack priced around 60 grand, this one qualifies for the partial tax credit. from the federal government and this car comes with a 91 kilowatt hour battery that produces around 300 miles of pretty solid range.

We come here, we see that we have the Tesla

model

and everyone knows that this car goes about 330 miles on a full charge. Depending on the wheel and tire configuration, it has a battery of about 80 kilowatt hours, which yes, this car is more efficient, this car is more spacious, this car is cheaper, but these things don't matter to everyone. Some people want a car that is more aesthetically pleasing in my opinion. The styling of the Mustang is much better, obviously not as abundant as the Tesla. I mean, no offense to Tesla, it's not a bad thing, but these are like today's Honda Civics, reliable, get the job done, affordable, great cars. everywhere except the

mustang

, I mean look at the styling of this thing, look at the wheels, all the headlights blacked out, I love it, come here, look at the door handle room, this is so cool, just You press it, it opens, it's like little things like that makes me like a car.

I've shown this car to a few people now and all they talk about is the door handles, so we'll see it on the Cyber truck again. Ford did it first, but let's get to the back here, clear taillights. I love that Porsches usually have the super high-end cars, that you have the blacked out Mustang logo and just look at the way the car descends, you have a spoiler integrated into the rear trunk and the way it sits on the back. rear, it's not egg shaped like the Tesla, I have a Tesla now, I use a Tesla daily so I can talk about it all I want, but I think the shape of the Tesla is a little strange, yes it is functional, but I always thought the front end looked like a frog and if you go to the side profile of the car here it's just that the shape is interesting to say the least, and you go to the rear of the car, maybe it's just because the market is so saturated with these cars that you see it so much and then it gets a little bland, so I feel like the Mustang really stands out from a styling perspective, but again, if you care about efficiency and all that kind of stuff, yeah.

The styling of this car is very efficient. Let's now go inside this car or both cars and evaluate the quality of experience you get in both vehicles. Alright guys, next up would be the interior of this car now. The first thing that catches attention for many people is the screen. Yes, we have a vertical touch screen. It works very well here, but in my opinion, the first thing that caught my attention were the materials. Everything about this car feels super premium, as you can see. we have perforated seats. I believe there is an option to ventilate these seats.

You have a scroll knob here much like a high-end Range Rover and a scroll knob here. This scroll knob is multifunctional, so again it depends on the person. something you have to get used to with Tesla's minimalist design: there's no screen here on the Tesla like there is on the Mustang, but that's something I got used to when I bought my model 3. But back to the materials, do you have a bang Olufsen sound system in this one do you have carbon fiber on the dash do you have an awesome sunroof if you can get that camera guy it's like the Tesla let's be honest what caught my attention was the driving experience the build quality nothing here sounds Nothing shakes here it just feels premium and when you drive the car it's very insulated in the sense that there's not a lot of wind noise, road noise, things that rattle, it's just very well built and there are little things that are also cool, look at the Mustang door seal I will say the branding is a little strange.
I love Mustang, but I don't know the similarities between this and the real Mustang. I think they just thought the Mustang sells well, so let's call it soap, but here armrests. raised a lot of storage here, storage up here with a wireless charging pad and it has more storage down here compared to the Tesla which literally has a box that you just throw things in and it's pretty deep, a lot of space, but this is a little more functional. you know, two stories of space, two cup holders and a pretty good setup overall, this car also comes with a sunglasses holder here which Tesla doesn't have and if that's important to you, I guess you know this could be the car for you, but let's get into the back of this vehicle and see how I fit in because obviously you can't film there's not as much room in here as there is in a Tesla, so let's see if at six foot four I can have a comfortable experience. on the back, okay guys, you can see the beautiful button.
I like it a lot. They can open the door. I'm going to see if I can put the seat here, which is quite far back. I am not going to lie. I'm going to sit. here, very quickly, oh the seat is super comfortable, I don't know why, but in many cars you just sit in the back seat and in general they neglect the backrest, put hard padding and stuff just because who sits over there. the back, but super comfortable, I have a lot of headroom on top, which, videographer, if you can make it so I can even fit in the wow, I can even fit in the middle, that's pretty amazing, but it's a such a beautiful experience here with the sunroof.
Give me the camera real quick. I'll show what I'm seeing back here, guys, boom again. This is not something you get in many petrol cars and of course the trunk will open very quickly. I'll say something. that's great there is a built in cover to protect your belongings if you live in San Francisco or Los Angeles this might be the car for you hopefully you won't get carjacked but it will probably happen anyway but I can see there being enough space again, less space overall, but is space really that important? No, we are not a semi truck shipping company, whatever you are going to put your purchases in here and that is the extent you are going to use. the space you lift up to be honest there's not a lot of storage space down here like in the Tesla but they do give you this charging accessory kit and there's a tire inflator which you don't get with the Tesla if we're being honest and boom you close the trunk and that's what we can now get into the Tesla very quickly and look at the spacing, the materials, the quality and the experience that you get in the white Tesla boom, all right guys, we're back in the Tesla I.
I'll tell you immediately that everything is very simple here, that's what Tesla is known for. Less is more, the seats in this car. I'll be honest, I love them, they're comfortable, it's just the materials and stuff, it just feels cheap and you guys. I will only understand this if you sit in both vehicles and I don't need to drive this to show you, but I have a lot of experience driving my car, this car, many other cars, there are a lot of rattle-like vibrations that have improved, I will say. I admit it's improved today, it's much better than a year ago, but again, it's just that the materials don't feel the same, which contributes to your overall driving experience.
Do you know why people buy BMWs? Why do people buy Mercedes? materials, the feel, the experience is really nice, yes it has a crazy sunroof, there is a lot of space here, in fact, you guys are probably interested in how I fit in the back here relative to the Mustang and I will say that there will be more space here just because of the way this car is shaped but this car is more like a mom car you know you can bring your family members in this car they are very comfortable and safe cargo is great again , that's why this is the Honda of vehicles, just because everything is just well designed but cheap, guys, so I'm going to jump on the back of this vehicle again.
I'm six foot four and I'm pretty tall, you can measure that and I sit inside. The first thing I definitely notice is more headroom. A few more inches of headroom if that matters to you, but the seats in the back of this car are again comfortable, but not that comfortable, it feels like they just put some random cushioning in the back, but it all comes down again to the choice of materials. that car is a little more expensive because they chose to use better materials overall compared to the Tesla, which is more about cost savings and delivering the bare minimum needed to give someone a good experience overall.
If you want to look at the trunk real quick, we can Look there's a lot of room in this thing, you can see we have a tennis bag and if we lift this down here there's a lot of room, so if you care about that, maybe you should go with this , but only the materials and all that. Everything is felt. Lighter to the touch, you know, in general, with products made in China versus products made in America, it's a feel and an experience that I'm not sure the Tesla offers as much as it does with the Mustang .
Let's look at one more thing. with the front of both vehicles, as you know, they are electric, so they have front space, so I will say the front space of the Tesla is probably a little bit bigger, but I will tell you something that bothers me with the Ford, there are some ways to open the front with the Ford but it's a little strange if you can see that we have a key. I know it's a little ghetto but I think you can only open the trunk with the key and not from the front but I definitely use a trunk in my many cars which is strange but come here traditionally with gas cars you have this lever to open the front end and it seems like Ford is just sticking to that older technology, which is cool, guys.
One thing I forgot to mention was the front space in Overall, both Tesla vehicles get everything, oh my goodness, they maximize space in all the places where other automakers can't create enough front and trunk space and whatever, but look at the spacious Tesla Frontier, yes, it's much bigger than the Mustang? Actually, the Mustang doesn't have it. There are things in it, but you can actually measure and see the depth of the front, but I will say something that is strange: the front can get hot and that could be due to the cooling system in the front.
We drove the car to Las Vegas. about 130 degrees. I know the front of the Tesla doesn't get as hot because maybe the cooling systems are more insulated, but I had my laptop bag in here and it got really, really hot to the touch, where I was like, ah, you know what? I? I mean, and the trunk on this car is also a lot heavier and a little harder to close, but that also goes back to my points about Tesla choosing cheaper materials. I mean, this front is super light, it's almost like they took aluminum foil, compressed it, and did it.
Which is fine because it works, it feels like a car made in China even though it's probably the most American made car out there and it feels like a super super stiff, super well built, good all around car , but let me get into something. Guys, I haven't covered that yet and it's the loading of both vehicles. If we come here, you can see that this car has CCS, obviously, you guys probably knew that, but what does that mean? That means they have to use Electrify America. charging system and the evgo charging system and all that, and in my experience I just drove this car to Las Vegas and back and drove it around the city again, we live in Los Angeles which is a very high utilization area for the CCS charging, they just don't work like that.
Well, the problem is that many people don't understand how bad CCS charging is. Stations are known to be broken half the time just from our experiences. Along with this car, every charging station we went to had half the stalls broken. or we had to plug it in like 15 different times to get it to work and after plugging it in it would give us like half the charging speed. This car could make up to 150 kilowatts. Did we get that loading speed? Sometimes yes, but on average they were getting like 70 or 80 kilowatts, which is just incredible compared to the Tesla.
You take it to the Tesla charging station which is pretty much anywhere you plug it in, you don't have to deal with anything, it starts charging in about 10 seconds and I have a perfect charging experience every time I've owned a Tesla over the years. last two and a half years. Not once have I had problems with theburden. Not specific to this car, just CCS charging in general almost every time. I have a problem that's bad because if you want a car like this and you want to go on the road and stuff, you don't want to have to worry about charging it, which sucks because I really enjoy this car a lot and I think. if they priced it a little more competitively it would make a lot of sense, that's why ford is transitioning to the nacs charging standard which means you can now use the

tesla

charger which is actually very good but for now such as it is until that conversion occurs.
I'm going to be honest, I don't think any CCS car is worth buying unless you only charge it at home and only like to road trip, maybe once a year, if that's not really a problem for you, for me . It was extremely inconvenient, which sucks because this car looks so sporty and aggressive that there were a lot of people looking at us while we were driving around town and the Tesla no one is going to pay attention to anymore. People need to wrap it in Chrome so anyone can pay a second of attention to it. which is unfortunate, but that's what it is, but again, in my opinion, it's just up to you guys.
That's fine, if you guys care about style and price isn't important and you're just looking for an overall good experience. I would do it. I think highly of this car, there is nothing about this car that really puts me off, even the blue Cruise works very well, which is the equivalent of Tesla's autopilot, they are good cars, they are everywhere, it just depends on you. I would recommend trying both cars. We definitely had a great time with this car. Thanks again Ford for sending us this car for a week, but this was my unbiased review of both vehicles again.
Excellent car. Excellent car. It just depends on what your needs are. So thanks for tuning into this video, stay tuned for more content on electric vehicles. We may start transitioning to hybrid vehicles or cool gas cars. We're not sure yet, but for now this is what we have, let us know in the comments below which car you have. I would take these two I feel like I'm leaning a little towards the Mustang just because I'm a little tired of seeing Teslas but let me know
