will be related to Android auto and Apple carplay. Now for the sake of this, I'm using my Google pi pixel, so I'm the dreaded Google user, right? I am Android. User that appears in your group text and ruins everything, but I still want to explain how you can make some cool customizations on Apple carplay Android auto, so let's jump in here, so there are a couple of things I want to show. you can change them properly, so if you have your music here and you prefer to have it here and your Maps closer to you, understand that you can make those adjustments and then secondly, a couple of things you can do when you have this P up . you can set custom backgrounds and two you can set where you can call a person immediately with one button.

You can also set actions like navigating to the nearby gas station and you can select the order of all these things correctly, so I want. to guide you and show you how to do some of these different things so the first one will be the wallpaper very simple to do all I have to do is go to settings once I'm in settings. I'm going to scroll down to the wallpaper and then I have a bunch of these that I can, so I'm going to select waves, for example, and then once I've done that, I'm going to go ahead and go back now when I come back.

Now you can see that I have the waves set up. The second part of this is what if I want to move something like Spotify here to the top? How do I do it right? If you scroll to the bottom, you have custom when you do that, then it will launch correctly, my phone app will launch and from there I can go into the phone app, find the app that I want, so for the sake of this, I'm going to take Spotify here and What I'm going to do is move Spotify all the way to the top right so that Spotify is there, that's what I want.

Now remember that you will have to exit Android Auto and then return to it. so that these changes are done correctly so we're going to do it right so I turned off the car and turned it back on and I'm going to go ahead and jump into Android Auto now I'm going to go back to Go to the menu and you'll see a wave is here and now you will notice that Spotify has moved to the first space, so understand that this is how you are going to make those adjustments. Now, the second part of this is, hey.

If I want to set it up where I can call a specific person with just one tap, hey how do I set it up? and then if I want to set up something like an action right where it will automatically navigate to A Place for Me Maybe you like being near Starbucks, so we'll go down to customize again now, once you've done that, it'll launch the custom launcher right now. Below this, you'll see add a shortcut if I go to add a shortcut, there are two options here. I have to call a contact. If I click call a contact, I will search for the person I want to add and then add them successfully.

It's very simple to do and then that will create what we saw. Up here you have your custom action to call that person. Now the second part of this is to add a shortcut to the launcher. This will be the wizard action, so I move on to the wizard action. This is where I will write what I want. be right, then it can be something like navigating to the nearest Starbucks. Now from here you can test that command so I can select it and test it to make sure it works correctly and then once I've done that, I can go, well, create. the shortcut, so the following will be more of a tip related to how to use your car and some different things you can do.

I'm holding up an AI car box, this mysterious black box right here so you can plug it into your car and it will basically make your dash set up a lot like a tablet, uh, so it's cool, let me show it to you so you notice that my screen now looks completely different than the stock Apple carplan Android setup and you too I'm going to notice things like Hey man, it's got Netflix on it, it's got Hulu, it's got bathtub, it's got ESPN, all these different apps that you don't have available when you use Standard Carplay, so that's where this box comes in.

What you do is you buy this box and you can plug it in and essentially turn it into a tablet right now. What I'm using to give it data is my phone's hotspot now because I'm using that hotspot. So I can access things like Netflix and be able to stream and watch things properly. It's a really cool feature. It allows me, if I'm doing a long road trip, to allow the passengers to see things on the dashboard, but also to be able to enjoy it well so that I can take something out and be able to see it well, so I'm going to go ahead and pause this real quick, but there are other things really interesting things you could have, not just something taken out. here but you can also split the screen, which is great, so if I wanted to split the screen and maybe have my navigation on one side, which is not navigation here, but I could add navigation if I wanted, that's great.

Cool, it gives you the ability to not only split the screen and do different things, but you could have music here, you could have a video here, all kinds of different options that you have that you can take advantage of, so it's a super cool feature. . so let me disable some of these things here real quick so what I really like about what this gives you is it gives you the ability to have all the apps you want because you have the Play Store and you can go or you have the Apple store Android Store, whatever you're using, the ability to download whatever you want, but also when you're inside an app, this will show up more like it would on your phone or your desktop dashboard. right, uh, instead of Apple car player Android auto, where it limits what you can see, so what I like about this right is that I can start a search, see something and I can see the entire playlist, it's not like if I did.

I'm just choosing a song that limits what you can see. Now it looks like a nice big screen that you would normally use if you were on a desktop. It's super cool and gives you the ability to not only take advantage of your apps to their full potential, but it also gives you access to all those extra apps that you wouldn't normally be able to take advantage of, so if you're interested in something like this, I will do it in the description. I'll show you a video where I'll go over the whole thing and give you some links and links and some different things like that, if that's something you're interested in, all right guys, so with all the different technology that this car has, start asking, do you know what happens if my car battery runs out?

How am I going to get in? It has electric locks. The electric mirrors turn everything on correctly. There is no keyhole here to open the door and I don't even have one. a key, well actually do it, let me show you a couple of things related to the key. The first is that you have this little button here and if you press that button, there's actually a key that lives in here now if you ever need it. to change the battery, there's actually a little slot there where you can open all this up and you can go in here to change the battery.

I actually have a video on that if you ever need to change it, so it's not hard to do. um, but related to this, this key can actually open the door, so let me show you where to go to do that, so I know you're looking at this like I'm Justin, there's nowhere to put that key, but there actually. , if you pull the door handle back, you can see it just below, you can slide the key in, this key will fit there and if you do, it will unlock the door. Now, the next trick is related to a feature that's on the car that I find a lot of people just don't know what it is, so I'm going to explain it, so if you turn over here and look down, you'll see this button.

It's called Break Hold and a lot of people say: What is it? How does it work? What are you doing? If I turn this button on, you'll see Brake Hold appear here in green and then you'll see Brake Hold. and then it actually says wait while it says wait the car is not driving you'll notice I can release my foot so I don't touch anything right now we're driving and we're not moving well really cool feature and then when I hit the accelerator we'll start to move again so I can continue, we start moving and then I'll hit the brake and when I come to a complete stop you'll see it says wait again and now I can release my foot from the brake, we're still going and it's holding.

This is a really cool feature that you can use as a self-service line or in Stop Ando traffic, where you just say, "Stop, go, stop, go right." I live in Austin, we get that all the time, but a reminder you have to be wearing your seat belt to use this feature now, if you unbuckle your seat belt, let's see you're driving and it's like you can't reach your bag or I'm in the bench and I can't reach it if you undo this, I understand that it won't let you get into the car in front of it, it won't disengage and then start driving, but what it will do is it automatically turns on the parking brake because you're supposed to need to get out and it doesn't want to for the car to start rolling, so even though the car is not driving, the parking brake is now automatically activated to help me, very good guys.
