2020

and 2021 are very small, so when we got this . one in the trade, I thought we would be very excited to delve into this car. Let's start off right, so let's talk about the exterior because the Lincoln Aviator has completely turned. redesigned for 2020 and speaking of a redesign, this car looks very refreshed and ok, I really love the exterior. I'll get to what I don't like in a second, starting with the front, I think it looks super stylish. You don't hide the fact that it's a Lincoln, it's very much in front of you, this car would be comparable to things like the Volvo XC90, the Acura MDX, the BMW X5-ish 7-ish, so it's really trying to compete with some of those. luxury cars and honestly it's doing a pretty good job starting with the front end like I said I like the grill it's very aggressive I think the hood lines are very symmetrical and they look amazing and then I love the different daytime running lights that just turn on. to give the car some different elements that really help it catch your attention on the road, obviously we're going to do it in a nice red color today, but definitely stay tuned at the end of the video because I'm actually going to build my own.

Lincoln Aviator and telling you about the different trim levels and things like that, moving on to its side profile again. I really like the body lines and some of the different contrasting elements. I think this black part here really gives it. a sporty look as well as the black mirror caps, I think the

badge looks super cool, so I love that the wheels are beautiful, you know, overall, I really like that Ford owns Lincoln, so that in the past the

aviator

and the explorer looked very similar. I feel like these cars look a little different on the road, this definitely looks like a higher end luxury car compared to the Explorer which I really like to see, moving on to the back this is the only part I don't see .

What I don't love is this red bar that goes all the way across the road, I think that gives it such a dated look that Lincoln has had that for so long and maybe they are trying to bring back some nostalgia, I just don't like this. I don't think I like it I think it's very unimaginative I would love to see some more interesting taillights This is boring to me I honestly hate this I know I shouldn't hate it so much but I would I would like to see when they put the wipers under here instead of on the rear.

I think that cleans up the back of the car, which looks nice. I just can't stand the red bar comment below if you think I'm crazy or If you agree with me, here's a picture of me in the aviator type driver's seat, these seats are grippable. I'm pretty sure it's like a 30-way power seat, so you can literally control it in any direction the door is, so I'm going to move my seat up a little bit, but as far as the car goes, in As far as my driver's comfort goes, the car is quite comfortable. There are some silly little things about the car that I'll point out in a second, but from a design standpoint it's very unique.

I don't think there's anything I've ever sat on in an interior like this before, so I'm enjoying that the door panel looks like it has a lot going on. I'm not going to lie like we have this chrome speaker with all these designs. We have a leather here high gloss black. It's just that the door has a lot of things to do. It's going to be transparent. This is also funny. It's an exchange. I don't know the interior, it will be totally a personal taste. It is very boat. I love digital boards just for the customization offered on them. I think it's amazing. The steering wheel. It's kind of interesting to me, there are a lot of buttons and honestly it's a little difficult to navigate. This is the voice command, which I almost like, but you can't really, the only thing you can do with it is. like asking it to call people for you or initiating a navigation command, you just like it, you can't do much with it so I like that button there, I just don't think it's something I would use, I'd rather it be something else button like maybe the volume control, but I love that it's so easy to use.

The rest of the steering wheel becomes a little confusing, as if these buttons are not illuminated. Well, I finally figured it out. When you press the cruise control, these are all buttons related to the cruise control, so it makes more sense and then I guess instead of pressing them here, you press them below, going to some of the jumpers, we have this screen here, it's good. it's pretty easy to use it's a touch screen I just wish it was slightly angled towards me because from a driver comfort perspective it's a little hard for me to look away oh I almost have to move my body to not There are no reflections on the screen, so I would like it to be slightly tilted, but we have some other cool quick buttons here, like our camera and our active parking assist car that will help you. park, that's exciting, keep going down here, look at the gear shift, it's like they're like piano keys, I think that's just hysterical to me, I don't know, I already have a verdict on how I feel about that one type of thing, comment below if you like shifter, if you're okay with this more button style, I appreciate the space it saves and I've seen it on more and more cars so I feel like it's time to get used to it.

We have excellent climate controls. down here as well as the heated steering wheel, heated seats and ventilated seats, and then this is where it gets really exciting in my opinion, first of all, I love this little extra compartment because you know what I put in there, I put some sunglasses there. I put my phone in there, I put a lip gloss in there. I love places to put things and I look in another for a lipstick for a quarter. be clean um two cup holders that are actually a nicer size if you've been here for a while.

This is what I like to have for my iced coffee. It's a wide mouth jar, so it's actually a little wider than a regular mug. and if a car passes the glass jar test, it has good cupholders, so that's awesome. Also look below, under the bridge, for another small compartment. I love it, love it, love it, can't get enough. Well, let's look at the center console. In fact, it is a great size. This is a size 5 diaper for reference, so it fits very well. This part can be removed. It is illuminated. We have a voltage of 12 volts.

I'm really excited about the size of the center console. I think it looks great. Me too. Honestly, I feel very comfortable, the seats in this car are incredibly strange, although I don't understand them, so if you can see them here, they are like this thin piece of leather that is attached to this seat. I guess it's a way to give you some of that, like that 30-way power seat. I mean, there are a lot of different ways you can control this seat and this is the craziest part among them, so I'm really happy. I'm very tall, about six feet tall, so I like it when the seats hit me below the knees and I like it when they're adjustable, but this one is separate and you can move them accordingly like there's a crack in the middle of the seat .

I don't know, I find it very funny. I find it so fun that it's like you can move either leg. It's just interesting, but overall I like the driver comfort. What's here? Anything else to explore. Decent size mirror. Decent size mirror. We have a sunglasses holder here and then we have a really cool panoramic sunroof, actually, I mean, it goes way back and it looks beautiful. Wow, okay, so let's talk about the car seat configuration because actually, guys, it's pretty good, in fact, all four seats in the back. Two rows have their own lower anchors and a tether anchor, which gives you a lot of flexibility, so that's the car seat situation we're dealing with.

I brought my baby Messa and my Graco Extended Fit. They are looking forward once just to give you an idea of ​​the space she is working with. I have set both seats for myself at six feet high. I will say that it is quite narrow. I am not going to lie. I think it definitely has something to do with these seats because this is a thicker, clunkier seat than others we've seen, so if you're a tall driver, much taller than me, you might have a hard time getting some facing forward. back. Here's a photo of me in the second row of the Lincoln Aviator. I have this seat set up for me with quite generous space and I still have decent knee room, as I expected. After all, this is like a six-passenger car, but as far as my creature comforts go, I have a leather back pocket. I have some pretty average ones, in fact they are not bad. Some nice side covers with a couple of different compartments, same as an odd door handle. I guess I like that, I mean, again, it's kind of like something more than breaking up.

We have some built in umbrellas that are awesome and then I have some lights. I have my climate control back here. No? He's not doing it. to me there are no roof vents, there are no side vents, I'm talking about the two smaller vents, they're like an inch and a half vents, they're so small I have no idea, I don't think you'd barely get any airflow back. here so if you have rear facing kids that's definitely something to consider we also have an outlet back here which I love if you're a mom and you take out a breast pump or you just need to charge electronics there's an outlet and then there's a usb and a usbc here the cup holders are on the floor back here when you choose to get the captain's chairs like we have I like that I think sometimes it makes access to the third row a little more difficult because then that person has to go over it. a cup holder I would almost prefer the cup holders to be on the back of the center console right here, but we're working with what we have.

Let me show you access to the third row. Well, access to the third row is quite easy. You can just press this. The top button is pushed forward and then you slide it up. I'm sure it's easy to use from now on by looking at the trunk. It's a pretty decent size with the third row up. It's definitely enough for a week of shopping. When I open this compartment, there is a little extra storage space. I love keeping your kids shut. Keep the owner's manual. Keep your trash there. I can't put my stroller comfortably. I've already tried it three times. Don't make me do it again. Put my stroller here with the third row. It's just too tight, maybe if I had a more compact stroller it would work, but it just doesn't work with the headrest and needed to be closed, so let me give you a photo with the third row down, but first. let's talk about how you placethe third row with these little tabs here will just lower the headrest, the headrest will be completely flush, which I really like.

I liked it, I think it's fun, I think it has a lot of nice cubicles. I am impressed with the car seat setup. You know, the road is not my favorite. I wish it was a little more spacious because I just think it's a little limited in certain areas, but overall I think it's a great option. I think Lincoln has come this far.
