This is the

BMW and then vehicles As this came to lead to a panorama in which we currently live, where all manufacturers are putting all their effort into luxurious but capable SUVs and this is my first experience with the x5 that BMW gave me. The gallery and the Dulari group have all their information linked below, but here in this video

review

I want to break down everything you need to know about this x5 and then at the end of this video I'll put it into my rating system. to see where it competes with other

premium

mid-size SUVs now, if you are familiar with all new BMW vehicles, we have so many completely new and significantly refreshed models for the

2019

2020 model years, we have the new 3-series of the new x7, both vehicles I already tried them and really enjoyed them now with this x5, many of those elements, as you expect, are here, we have the widescreen touch screen with Apple Carplay and the latest i drive interface system. that BMW live cockpit display, which is their digital instrument cluster up here and the updated exterior look, but what defines this x5 that I'm driving today is the 50 i model, this is the one that produces the twin-turbo v8 engine of 4.4 liters. 456 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque now, when I tested the larger x7, which was the 40, it modeled the same three-liter turbocharged inline-six that you'll find in quite a few BMW models and I think That vehicle is about 400 pounds or so heavier than this car, and that six-cylinder engine, even though it was in a significantly larger vehicle, was incredibly powerful;

That engine would work well here too in the smaller, lighter vehicle, but I would never turn down the opportunity to try this v8 engine, even though it's probably not the engine most customers prefer. It has a lot of character. It's the same engine I tested in the M 550i, but in this application it's much more exciting. maybe it's because it's in a much larger vehicle and doesn't claim to be a mid-performance model like the M 550 was and I complained a little about that, but this engine can propel this car to sixty miles per hour. in 4.7 seconds you have a bunch of different driving modes, as you do with all current BMW models, including Sport and Sport Plus, where you can reduce the noise of this exhaust a little.

More Interesting Facts About,

Here are a couple of clips you can use quickly. comfort or EcoPro and now listen to how quiet this car is, it has a four point four liter v8 in the front and you think it runs on electricity only when you demand a little power, that's when things quickly reveal themselves outside the engine , what is the The rest of the driving experience too, the electronic steering assist system is a constantly adaptive system, so at low speeds it is incredibly easy to move this vehicle forward and backward, but then when You reach highway speeds, it's just small fixes if I need them at all, visibility around is pretty good.

I feel like I'm sitting too high off the road to look at other motorists. The brakes are firm, the 8-speed automatic transmission is simply wonderful and you have the paddle shifters behind the steering wheel if you want to change the gears yourself, but it will be noticeable even in manual mode and in sport mode and everything else is activated , if you don't change a red line the car will change for you so I'm driving in this v8. I'll quickly talk about the 6-cylinder version that also comes with xDrive all-wheel drive and that has 335 horsepower and 330 pound-feet of torque again, that's probably what most people are looking for. on this vehicle there are a couple of things to keep in mind between the six and eight cylinders, if you want the third row option, which you can get on the x5, you can only have it on the six cylinder v8 engines, you can't do that, they are kind of an afterthought, if you want a troop that seats six or seven, buy an X seven and then with that you can get it with a v8 and that seats six or seven, this wouldn't be a modern BMW if it wasn't. packed with the latest and greatest in technology, so like I said, we have the touch screen with Apple Carplay and with the gesture controls that you can use by turning the volume up and down with the control wheel in this central master of buttons between this poplar wood. accent and of course the ability to do that on the steering wheel as well, the tradition of the volume knob and asking BMW to turn up the volume, this model features the head-up display and may not be as wide as other vehicles that I know.

I've come across Lincoln, it comes to mind that they have a huge heads up display unit that will give you as much information as you could want, but this one is so crisp and bright and the resolution of that head up display looks effortless. as good as it does here in the digital instrument cluster and touchscreen standard features for the full ti model include heated front seats, panoramic sunroof, power-folding split tailgate, LED headlights and rear lights, interior ambient lighting, lane departure warning blind. timely warning the collision warning alert system and high beam assist and high beam assist now this one will come with some other goodies we have the heated and ventilated front seats the heated steering wheel the heated rear seats the cruise control system adaptive wireless phone that charges the air suspension where you can raise and lower with this toggle switch right here, the digital key that I tested in the x7 is available here in this vehicle, as well as the elaborate glass elements that are mainly highlighted on the lever shift and the iDrive rotary dial wheels, you can also see it here on the volume knob.
I don't really care for it and I really thought I'd disagree with this when I first saw it on the BMW x7, but I liked it there and I liked it here too. I have the backlit Now, how is this as an SUV? Well the biggest criticism I have towards the x5 is that it doesn't really feel that big in the back for a

midsize

SUV and so many of them I'm getting into these days. I'd say the BMW is one of the smallest I've personally come across, not to say it's hard to go back there.
I have a lot of head room, knee room, foot room, the seats fold down individually, so there's a lot of room to throw out the middle seat and haul skis and do whatever you want with this vehicle, but I'm just comparing it. With so many other

midsize

s I've been in recently, the BMW feels a little smaller in the front rear, although if you're six foot four you have all the space you could want, leather trim absolutely everywhere, we've got the improved walking nappa. leather package here on the dashboard, which is so beautiful to behold, the seats are immensely comfortable with the thigh extension and with all the different things you can change with the seat functions, the heated armrests, yes, it really does I mean seriously, along with the heating. and the cooled cupholders make this x5 pretty easy to live with.
The bench seats that divide the tailgate configuration that is part of this x5 have been one of the central elements of its design from the beginning. I love seeing this on cars, it's great to sit in them. the back and if you're in a romantic situation have a picnic in the back and it's just great and with the safety cover you can hide that under the false floor, you lift that element up and it's on some kind of air springs, so what it is It will stay in place until you push it to the floor so I ran into this issue when I was testing series 3 and I got a couple of emails from some viewers and I really appreciate you taking the time and writing those emails Electronics a Tell me about some of the problems you were having with Apple CarPlay.
Now this is a wireless Apple CarPlay system. You can still plug it in and it will work like any other vehicle on sale today, but some of the problems I have personally encountered are: When it is in its wireless setting, it crashes from time to time, whether it is the Bluetooth that doesn't work as well or you know that some type of connection is a little unstable. I found myself on that Series 3 and x5 trying to skip the wireless carplay option because it has brought some problems as this is evident here on this x5 and all three series.
I'm wondering if it's something to do with the wireless Apple Carplay system if you're having issues like this too. Let me know by email or comment or by contacting any of my social media pages. I would really like to know if you are a current owner of the new Series 3, the new x7, the new x5 and all of these. New BMW models, if you have problems like this, this x5 has improved laser light systems and when you drive at night you really appreciate the power behind this technology and the intriguing thing is that these systems have a significantly reduced capacity in North America Compared to its European counterparts of exactly the same technology, the exterior appearance is definitely a restructuring of the x5 before anything is radically different in my eyes, so to me it looks majestic and attractive what I take. maybe just one small issue is that the taillights look like a Subaru Impreza to me.
I don't really know why I'm making that connection, maybe it's the white element inside the taillight unit that reminds me that there are quite a few functional vents and some that are simply covered in plastic, the VA has the exhaust tips quads that sit inside that rectangular portion inside the bumper and the 22-inch wheels that are here on this model may be the best-looking wheels I own. The ones I've ever seen on an SUV probably aren't for the person who plans on going off road, they're x5s, but anyone who wants to make a good impression on the street, these are the wheels to use and that about sums it up. what did he want.
What I can say about the x5 is stupendously good, but in this ultra-competitive segment I think you should consider owning this vehicle. Personally, I haven't had much experience with the new Porsche Cayenne, the new G le from Mercedes and I really want to get it. Getting behind the wheel of those vehicles soon, so I can definitely say which one is better than the rest. I think the biggest negative about this x5 is that there isn't as much space in the back as I expected, but I still really enjoyed it. my time with this vehicle and I hope to spend more time with it again soon, so that's been it for me.
Thank you very much for taking the time to watch this video and a special thank you again. I have to go to the BMW gallery and Dallara. group that lent me this x5 for a weekend so I could try it all their information is linked all their information is linked below and if you want to do me the biggest favor in the world and hit the subscribe button It also does everything for me. Thanks again for watching. I hope to see you soon.
