There is no room on the other side of the pin to pierce it. They will have to be fixed. Surprise! This is locked... for now. It needs replacing, so I can be aggressive. The set screw made a large burr. Check how worn the bushing is. These need new bushings. I'll try to open this after removing the rust. The original paint isn't too bad, but it needs to be redone. This bushing needs to be replaced No lead paint...strange Using wax instead of paint Self-etching primer 4 coats of gray enamel paint This part is aluminum so I'm not going to paint it Making sure all machined surfaces are " flat" These small pieces help hold the cross guide to the guides...

... This amount of movement is not right... I installed a spacer to help with the clearance New brass bushings The manual says to use oil, not grease. The nut adjusts the tension of the hub. I also reinstalled the brass washers on the gears. I'm replacing this with spindle dead center. "New" wheel from a guy on the Internet. Centering the counterpoint. Centering the cutter. It is not too bad. !
