17 IKEA ITEMS FOR CAMPING that you didn't know existed!

at Ikea for campers, so I'm going to come in and show you some really cool hidden gems. If you're on a budget and just starting out

I was recently at Ikea buying some things for my home office and then, since I'm always thinking about camping, I started seeing so many things that would be great for camping, so that's how I came up with this very random video idea, I First I want to show you this stainless steel bowl.

They are such a good size for camping that you can buy them individually so you can buy as many as you need and then they fit nicely together for packing. These bowls are not too big and are really nice and deep so you can put quite a bit of food in there, they are reusable and very durable for camping. Now the next item is one of my favorite finds and it is organic moose shaped pasta, how cute is this pasta, this is not it. the kind of thing I was hoping to see at Ikea, but I knew I had to buy it and pasta is a very easy thing to cook at the campsite, so I want to show you a quick camping dinner that you can make with this pasta.

You'll start by cooking the pasta as usual and while it's cooking you can cut up some chicken sausage and cook that in a pan as well. Once the pasta is ready, simply add some pesto so there are basically three ingredients. This camping meal has pasta pesto and chicken sausage. It's so delicious, super easy and a great way to use up this moose shaped pasta. As you can see, I'm using the stainless steel bowl I mentioned earlier to serve this easy camping meal. dinner   I have a ton of camp cooking recipes and tips videos here on my channel   so be sure to subscribe if you want more easy and delicious camping meals   Next up are kitchen and tea towels galore, this is where I love to get all my camping tea towels because I use a lot of them and Ikea has a ton of options so you can use these towels at camp for all kinds of things.

This green one here is smooth on one side and then a little rougher on the other, so it's Great for cleaning dishes when you're at the campsite. This is 100 percent cotton. It's very small and nice to just grab a few of these to clean up. I love this one because it's a linen and cotton blend and feels great. They also have this little tab so you can hang it when you're at camp and it makes it easier to dry and there's a larger size too. With this one I use dish towels for all kinds of things when I'm camping, like drying my dishes.

After cleaning them, I sometimes use them as pot holders and usually wrap my cast iron skillet or dutch oven in towels so they are protected from banging around in the car. Next up is this little dustpan, it's really small, compact and cool. to clean your truck or your RV or even your tent, if you're camping for days there's bound to be sand or dirt built up in the tent so it's great to keep in the car and perfect for sweeping that all up . Below are these wooden cutting boards in different sizes and shapes so you can get exactly what you like for camping.

Some of them have mixed reviews, but I have this bamboo cutting board at home, it has great reviews and I really like it. and it also comes in a smaller size, which would be ideal for camping, so if you love cooking at camp, a cutting board is definitely something you'll need. Below, there are a ton of different container options and I say this all the time in my videos. But organization is really key when you're camping and containers are a great way to stay organized both at camp and at home. I like clear containers because you can see what's inside but again, there are so many different sizes and shapes that you can find exactly what you're looking for.

I actually laughed a lot because in one of the showrooms there was a container labeled camping supplies and then another container labeled first aid, so there are tons of uses to help you stay organized when you're camping, which will make your trip will be much more fun. relaxing and stress free, next up are these little clips that probably have a ton of uses that I haven't even thought of yet, but they come in two packs and as you can see here I'm just hanging a wet swimsuit so these can make it nice and easy to hang towels and swimsuits and things like that, when you're at camp the next step is this silicone washing bucket and as you can see it's foldable so it's great for wash the dishes at camp and then when you're done, you can just collapse it and it doesn't take up much space so it's perfect for washing those dishes.

Speaking of washing your dishes, we also have some sponges that can go with the dishwashing bucket. I also saw this little scrubber. brush which I think is great for cleaning cast iron because it's not too abrasive so it won't ruin your seasoning but will still help you get all that food debris off your pan apparently it's a replacement for this larger brush but I would use it for camping. just grab the spare so now we have some silicone storage bags that are great for storing some type of fruit or some chopped vegetables or even some leftovers after cooking so they open up like this and they come in a couple different sizes.

There's actually a lot of room that fits in there and then you squeeze them closed like a normal plastic bag would and then there's this little plastic thing that slides on the top to secure it and close it, so they're great for leftovers. They don't take up much space, so you can just store them and then use them when you need them. There are tons of grilling supplies out there, so here we have some stainless steel spatulas and some tongs that are always great for cooking on the grill. grill and speaking of grilling, there are also two types of kebab skewers that I saw, they have a pack of bamboo skewers and then there is also a pack of stainless steel kebab skewers, so if you like to grill, these are great supplies below we have really adorable ones.

Stainless steel insulated flasks that you can keep your drinks hot or cold when you are camping. They are very good quality for $10 and have a small handle so you can easily hold them and carry them around camp. I just love them, I think they are perfect to help you stay hydrated when it comes to containers. I thought this insulated stainless steel food container was also great for traveling. Now we can talk about some more storage because these little storage bags are a great find for campers, they are very affordable and great. For a lot of different things here, I'm actually using it to store a blanket and pillow.

These could be used to even store some of your clothes or a sleeping bag and just keep them together in a car so they aren't floating around everywhere, you

know

where everything is and you can easily take it from the car to your campsite. They also have these storage bags in different sizes, so this one is a larger version with a larger strap for carrying and this one is smaller. On the version it says it's a shoe bag, but I actually thought it would be great for storing your muddy boots if you go out for a walk during the day or if it's raining or something and you need to get your boots dirty, you can put them away.

Put them in these little bags so you don't mess up everything else in your car, so you have plenty of ideas here depending on how creative you are. Here you have an even larger size. This could be ideal for a sleeping bag. It is a surprising find. a waterproof roll top bag. I haven't tried it personally, but it could be really good if you do water activities like swimming or boating and just want to keep your phone dry, this little bag could be the solution. Next we have these packing cubes and This is one of my favorite finds at Ikea, they come in a pack of three and I've talked about how much I love packing cubes in other videos because again, they help you stay organized and this game is really good, it's cheap and comes with three. different sizes in three different colors, so I usually have shirts and pants in one and then I put socks, underwear and things like that and another so I always know where everything is.

If you have kids, this could be a great way to get organized. some of their stuff too so there's a lot of options with this and you can never be too organized so there's that.
