1. Roman Britain - The Work of Giants Crumbled

May 06, 2020
The foreign occupiers who brought so much change were finally gone. It was a time when people felt that history was no longer moving forward and that tomorrow would be darker than today. It was a time when all that remained of the lost golden age was. a landscape full of buildings and huge stone blocks. Giant bathing rooms, the overgrown ruins slowly and incessantly crumbling into the ground. The dead perished on a large scale, the days of pestilence came, and death took all the brave. Their war sites became deserted places and the city eroded. The rebuilders perished, the armies were buried underground, these buildings were left alone and the red, curved decorations on the roof fell.
