I guess spring cleaning week is what I've decided it's going to be. I'm going back to a place we haven't been to in a long time to a place people have been asking me to come back to in the comments for a while we're going to revisit the forest

that we discovered a long time ago, in what is now the most successful episode of Minecraft Survival Guide.

, episode 59, I think it was and we're going out there for a very specific reason because at the time people were a little confused because I hadn't explored the

of the mansions more. forest mansions because some of them can generate

and people said that I should go there and rediscover the fact that there should be a secret room in that mansion well, until recently I had assumed that there wasn't one because I had found a secret room but it wasn't in the place they normally spawn and it didn't seem to contain anything, but by pure coincidence I flew around that mansion in spectator mode when I was going through the fragments I wanted to remove before 1.14 and it turns out there was something I never knew about before These forest mansions and the fact that I had assumed they didn't have a The Secret Room was actually kind of wrong, so today, in the spirit of spring cleaning week, we're going back to that forest mansion to fix my mistakes and find out what's really there, so here we are, friends, returning to the scene of our first Raid on the Forest Mansion, but it won't be the last.

There are actually two other forest mansions in this world that I'm going to try to raid today to see if we can find any other secret rooms because there is more than one type of secret room that can spawn in these mansions. but first we need to revisit this place to make sure our gauge friends are still here in their boxes, which should be most of them, although there have been some issues with entities in this D world appearing thanks to some bugs in

minecraft

1.14 but it looks like at least a couple of these guys are still around yeah it looks like that guy over there is there too and one more thing i should take care of while i'm here another thing i left out in the raid on Woodland mansion. video the first time, if you dig deeper into the foreheads of these statues you will find the brain in the form of a block of lapis lazuli and you might as well claim that lapis lazuli while it's here, so thanks for the lapis lazuli buddy, now some people have it.

I was also asked why I'm not doing anything with the gauges I've captured here and the main reason for this right now is that Minecraft 1.14 has this raid mechanic that we've explored in previous videos and it causes a bit of problems but not only causes problems for the

er, but it turns out that mobs that are

of raids, like pointers and witches, will try to join the raid if they can and I don't think you name them like you probably would if you wanted to use a pointer on a farm, you would have to tag it with the name Johnny so it would attack other things.

I'm pretty sure they still try to join a raid if it happens in one area while they are loaded somewhere else in the world and the problem with that of course is that that would mean they would join the raid and we have to kill them as

part

of the raid mechanic, so the raid will count down the number of Vindicator zervakos and whatnot that you still have left to kill and that would include one that we would name tagged and that we were trying to use on farms, so until I can check that it's resolved and won't be a problem for us, I don't think that's really something that's viable.

Using gauges on those farms is not only that, but you can also find gauges that spawn naturally in the world as part of patrol looting, which means that these gauges trapped here in the forest mansion are actually very useful when we can obtain indicators. to spawn a lot closer to home and not worry too much about transporting them, that being said though, I would love to do an episode on mob transport at some point in the future, so I think what I'll probably end up doing is coming back for these of indicators anyway, mainly because I promised I would and some people in the comments always mention it from time to time, they'll mention the fact that I still have some Vindicator left in here, so don't worry, I'll come back for them now.

What everyone was saying about these secret rooms in the comments on those videos is that you can access them behind this giant elegy picture at the top of the stairs and the thing is, that's not always true. I demonstrated this in the video where we were arranging the pieces of the world, but I can also demonstrate this to you now. The way these mansions are generated means that this face is always at the top of a staircase, but that doesn't always mean there is a secret room. behind and in the case of this mansion there is actually a window behind it that overlooks the outdoor balcony here and that's because this mansion spawned something strange and the way it works is that the secret room on the top floor Here Upstairs it's just in a different place and to find it we have to go to this back room and dig through the walls, something I did off camera in the video because apart from the fact that there are mobs spawning.

Here because there are no lights, in fact I walked in here and realized there weren't any. Wow, there we go, there were more vines here. In fact, I noticed that there were no chests here, and while those creepers have blown things up, they haven't. We zoomed in on the areas where the chests would be most of the time, they're hidden under these wall sections around here and I was a little surprised that none of that was found, but I figured there's no point in showing a secret room if I can't show you. where it is, though, I forgot to explore the ceiling and it turns out that there are actually attic spaces in some of these secret rooms, so I'm going to use some of these dark oak logs that the creepers kindly provided me with. with me and I'm going to peel it and see what I can find here.

I'll probably find a couple more creepers if I know my luck, but it looks like they've been keeping their zombie cousins ​​in the attic, but as you can see. in the dark around here and I'll try to light it up a little better so you can see that there are chests at each end of the room in this attic space and this is something I've never encountered before so consider this my apology. for not finding this in the original video of the raid on the forest mansion. I didn't really know this existed, but this is something you guys can find if you find a secret room with nothing in the room.

Look up and see that you can find them somewhere else. one doesn't have a huge amount of loot, it seems to only have some coal, a single gold ingot, and some cables, but the cables can be useful to you if you know two leader mobs with them. and we don't have anything particularly special here either, so it's a shame that there's a chance that the chests in the forest mansions contain more interesting things, potentially enchanted golden apples which would solve all my problems regarding enchanted golden apples and I think What we're going to do is go out and find a couple of other mansions in the forest to see if in this video we can demonstrate the other types of secret rooms that you can find in these structures, but first, I'm actually going to tour the entire mansion of the forest and knock down all these bookshelves because I really like bookshelves.

I think they are a great addition to any build when it comes to detailing, as long as it makes sense for the books to be there. a beautiful colorful block and I recently used a bunch of bookshelves I had made or looted from any of the fortresses I visited in the world in my castle library, so I'm in the market for something now. more shelves and what I think I'll do is raid the libraries here, they have some like that and we'll knock down as many shelves as we can. Unfortunately, there's no secret entrance behind the bookshelves because this isn't a Scooby-Doo episode, but once I get all the bookshelves in here, I'll put them in a Shelcha box.

I'll make myself a nether portal here so I can easily return to this mansion. when we want to bring Vindicator I didn't like that the first row of this shelcha box is filled with stacks of shelves. Might as well point it out on this week's live streams. I've finally been working on the bottom center. After all this time and I still don't know exactly what I'm going to do with the other layers, but I have a pretty good idea about this one, which you'll see appear in the background of future videos until it's ready. to chat about what we're going to do next, so this circle here is filling up, it's covering up the bottom here so that nothing can spawn in it in the meantime and I think this on the outside will probably be maybe 9 or 10 tall blocks around the perimeter walls, so we can place some nice big arches here, the ones in the cardinal directions and at each of the midpoints, we can probably have a door through which can lead to other places around the bottom.

But I think we'll leave this project behind for now and see if our cartographers can sell us some other mansion in the woods. Maps that could take us to another place. We can negotiate with him a little to make sure he moves up the ranks and then hopefully in the near future he will be able to sell us maps. He's now buying glass panels for emeralds, which is actually kind of interesting. He doesn't interest me. assuming that trade right now, but maybe if we bought a couple more things, maybe if we bought an Ocean Explorer map with a compass, we could potentially level it up a little faster so I could use the resources I had in my box from Redstone Schalke. get seven compasses and you know, that's actually a pretty decent increase, so yeah, let's try it.

I'm assuming it's one emerald and one compass per Ocean Explorer map and they'll all be the same at this point, but I think we could also try it and it looks like there's only one trade we can make that will increase your XP, which means I probably need to find something. glass and naturally the first thing these villagers do in the morning is spawn an iron golem in the middle of a block, so it suffocates, great job, none of the iron golems really notice this zombie, although they really should if they're within a certain radius. I don't know, that's why I haven't returned to this village project.

I have a sneaking suspicion that it might indicate where we are in the worlds because that's definitely kind of northwest of us, but I'm further east than I was at the time. forest mansion before so I'll try to go out and find this forest mansion anyway we'll see how we get on and if it's the same one as me. I'll probably have to look up the coordinates of other forest mansions in the chunk base because I can't I'll waste my time negotiating with these guys if they give me the same map over and over again, so let's go to heaven. and I'll see where this map takes me.

Surprisingly, the map didn't take me to the same dark oak forest as before - in fact, it took me to a completely different forest mansion that I once raided in a stream - but we've since reset these fragments so as not to cheat on anything. , but rather for this to regenerate again so we can go back and take a look at the secret rooms, so this is a mansion that has effectively never been raided before and now we're in the update and now we have a patrol raid that generate indicators for us. The joke I discovered about these mansions in the woods is that they had a lot of things. of diamond hoes in the chests and I already found two of them, so it looks like the loot has basically generated the same thing. We still need to get the serious dedication advancement now that that has been fixed for this update. that in the breeding tab here where we need to fully use a diamond hoe, so maybe one of those will end up going towards that breakthrough, but it's no big deal that we have all these hoes and stuff and how are we going to grab them.

I have so many of that particular music album, so I don't really need to bring all of this with us, but I don't know if any of that could be. useful at some point also worth checking out the loot chests in these rooms with checkerboard floors and once again we have another moment in ho, but they are on top of the beams here, they are around these wooden beams that are around the side. In the room you have a chest on top of each of those, this one here didn't have many things either.

I'm going to take the opportunity to raid more shelves while we're here. I think I just heard that a wandering merchant really showed up in the middle of all this. The main reason I didn't cover that in my first video with a mansion is because the mansion I was raiding didn't, so here we are, we have a diamond block which is our reward for clearing the secret room of this mansion that I was actually behind this picture face in the first place so good job Minecraft you did it this time and with the latest VIN Decatur is taking care of other than this room unless there's something particularly strange going on here there we go already ago that we can hit there we go, let's take out this zombie too oh okay, the delay is almost becoming the death of me Anyway, at this point, don't worry, we'll go up here and take out this zombie.

Hopefully we'll clean up whatever else is on this balcony. Before I look up the location of the last mansion in the woods that I plan to raid in this episode, I think I might make a stop at home. It's a long trip to get here, but I guess since we already know the drill, we could Well, we'll explore the outside of this upper level of the mansion to find the secret room we're looking for that looks like a cat, but This one here looks like one of the rooms in the boxing ring.

Aha, this here is probably the secret room of this mansion. I was expecting an enchanted golden apple at some point, but it seems. Like we just got that one, so this is the kind of secret room I was hoping to find. I wonder if there's something up there, because occasionally these things, as we now know, will hide another treasure chest up here in the rafters, it doesn't seem like. and let me quickly, yeah, okay, check to make sure there's no attic space here.

It seems like we've done everything we need to around here, but I thought for a little fun, I brought some Johnny's name tags with me and we could try to find some pointers and have them go fight some of the other inhabitants of Woodland Manor. for us because it feels like an Easter egg that we haven't explored yet and should probably explore at some point, oh look at another one. diamond ho, I can grab it too, but the rest of this, while a bit junky, can probably just be talked into inventory and scrapped at some point in the future, let's find a Vindicator and have some fun, see.

If we can get the attention of this guy here at the end of the hallway and try to get attention without attracting the attention of the Avoca over there, it looks like they both saw me. Oh, keep in mind that guy is also a Vindicator, okay. He runs away a bit and sees if he starts attacking his friend. It seems like they're both pretty calm. I think they won't attack each other. I think they will attack other mobs, but other Vindicator --zz are not part of that. No, it seems like he's avoiding the zombie and still going after me, oh oh, he turned the other way with his axe.

Yes, he killed the zombie for us. Unbelievable, we have a zombie killing a Vindicator. I need to find as many hostiles here as I can.
