Yes, you get two of these in a package and if you make them the way I'm showing you, you can get two crosses out of one. pack that makes the form about fifty cents each so you're going to need a pack of these you're going to need some zip ties good quality zip ties now let me say something about this a lot of people ask me why don't you use zip ties and great part of my wreath because if you don't use good quality zip ties, the thickest ones, over time the sun will eat the mesh, weaken your zip ties and your wreath will fall apart.

More Interesting Facts About,

Been there, done that, don't try to argue with me about it. These come from Walmart, they're nice, thick and sturdy, so I'll use some of those. You need some scissors and some pipe cleaners. I also have six rolls of Dollar Tree twill in this case with Dollar General mesh. I'm going to use two colors, I'm going to use my crustal method with this and yeah, it looks like you're not going to need six rolls. of mesh and I will probably have a little left over, but the crustal method uses a little more measurement than the normal rolled method.

You're also making some faux flowers, a hot glue gun, and some glue sticks now with our form here. Let's start that with our form, you can use wire cutters, tin snips or my needle nose pliers here they have a little cutting edge there, you can use that, what you want to do is cut this right here so you have one that's a piece two pieces three pieces this right here and then you're going to cut it right here on that line on this line and on this line so essentially you're going to end up, let's take this off the bottom you're going to End up with three pieces that look like this.

Look, there will be a crossbar in the middle. Do you have two sides and then a piece of metal in the center? And that centerpiece is what we're going to place at home, so once you cut yours, you'll end up with three of these, get that one out of the way right here and you'll have a little bit left over as well. Sorry, you'll just have a little bit left over, so there's your three pieces, so now I'm going to hold them together with the zip ties because it's a little flimsy and you really want this to be able to hold together, so now what you're going to do is take one piece and then take your second piece and place it here to where the end of it touches this crossbar like this, see here are the two crossbars together and that's where you're going to put a flange now I'm just going to put one here just for the moment just to hold this up until you can place the other piece just center it there and tighten it a little bit yeah it's flimsy like I said we're going to go back and we're going to really tighten it down so it's one long piece now take your second piece with this edge and then line it up with that cross section there just like that and see how you now have this perfect little grid of four squares in the center just like that now take your zip ties and snap everything together it might be a little annoying to work with them just until you have one or two of these at home and it becomes much stronger to work with that one for rudder and trim it and then I I want to come back with more zip ties and I'm actually going to hold all of this together just to keep it all centered.
I want to put more in here and really fine-tune all of this. I'm also going to put a little bit down here and hold they're together like this so it's nice and sturdy so let me do that we'll pause the video and I'll be right back here this is what we have everything is tight with these zip ties and yeah you can use pipe cleaners with this. if you want, or floral wire to hold it together, now what we're going to do is start making our crumbles and April is basically just a piece of mesh and it's a cross between a ruffle and a bunch, take ruffles to do that, you'll need a pipe cleaner and then cut that pipe cleaner in half and then fold it in half and now you're going to take a 20 inch piece of mesh, 20 inches, just place it here and you're done.
I'm going to start rolling the raw edge over itself. Now you can do this border at once. You can roll it up and secure it with a clothespin if you want or you can do it on both ends at the same time like I do here. Just start. roll them over each other until you still have a few inches of mesh left in the middle. Now you're just going to take them and slide them together like this, so you have like two rolls and a little spiral frill. in the center, then simply wrap the pipe cleaner around it and tighten.
You can add a piece of ribbon if you want to just place it on top of the York ruffle before putting on the pipe cleaner, but for this one I just want to I have the basic flowers in the center so you can really see the mesh here. I want to try to keep this simple, so now I'm going to start right here, on this side of this little square grid. Here I'm just going to Take the pipe cleaners and wrap them around that center piece of wire because I don't want to put a whole ton of mesh here and up here and up here.
If you do that, it will be bulky and you will really lose. your cross shape so I'm going to put it here and then I'm going to alternate colors purple white purple white and this method here really shrinks the frame because there are no raw edges sticking out so that's why I like it so now let's go do this other piece here and you'll see how it rolls the edges together. You have a little bit in the center and then just squeeze it. Let's wrap it here and rotate it. Turn, make the turn. I'm just going to put that right next to it, I don't know exactly how many groups I'm going to put in here, just keep putting them in there until it's as full as you want, that's why I said I'm going to start with these six rolls of mesh and if I deviate from that, for Of course, I'll tell everyone when I get back and then we'll go over and take a look and see exactly how many groups I have for each section now with These here, if you see your pipe cleaners in the center, just give it a little twist and they interlock and they'll cover the pipe cleaner in center.
You won't see it, so I'll continue. with this going this way and this way, of course, and then we'll come back and I'll show you how many bunches they used, how much mash I had left over and then we'll put in our flowers, wait just a minute, okay, yeah, the lighting is doing something strange here, but it looks better in person than on camera right now. I can assure you that, but as you can see, I have it completely filled, now let's take a Look at the back of this, see how the lighting has just changed, but on this top here I have nine crippled groups.
I have nine nine nine two three four five six in this little part here I have six and then in this longer bottom part. part there's nine, so nine six nine nine and nine and I just alternated the cut, so now what I'm going to put in the center is I found this flower in my stash and I'm going to stick it right in the center and then I have a bunch of these umm yeah, these also came from Dollar Tree. I just have a bag full of flowers, yeah this also came for a Dollar Tree and then I have this pink butterfly.
I want it to be soft pink and purple, I have this pink butterfly that came from Walmart on their Christmas ornament clearance, but you know Dollar Tree has them too, so what I'm going to do is I'm just going to put, I'm going to get this palette out of the way. turn it over, I'm just going to put a little bit of hot glue here, all around, try to center it, let's stick it down there in the center, like this, now, this is a little bit of an awkward position and I'm standing on the kit. and the screen here now let's see I'm with the butterfly where did it do it? it flew away here he is I want to put it right there I need to have oh it has a little clip at the bottom I'll take this clip out If I can I might have to cut it out water cut okay this clipping has little value here we go it's okay, that'll work a lot better, put it here, yeah, and then I'll take some of these and put them around the outside. corner the outer core this thing doesn't have quarters the outer edge of this flower, so just put a little bit here, put it down there, right there, right there, it looks good, let's put this one here.
I'm trying to focus it a little better. Sorry, that's it, it's all crooked caddywhompus, you have my word, I'm going to put a little bit more right there and then I'm going to glue it down to where it can stick to the mesh just like that and now I'm going to put a bunch of glue on it. our little butterfly friend here and there, just stick it like this, good and done, I think that's all I want to put there. I don't want any tape here. I think the flowers bloom and these little ornaments. I think that will be enough, so there we are.
I want to work with this flower. I'm going to fluff it up a little more and put it in a better position. I think I'll leave it at that, so here we go.
