mclaren

570's remember if you like what you see on the channel hit the subscribe button if you are ready, subscribe or press the notification bell. please like and share this video so our channel can grow and as always please leave a positive comment below so the

mclaren

570s

was definitely my dream car. I have driven over 100 vintage cars and have driven over 600 cars since this channel started about three years ago. and the mclaren

570s

was probably one of the best cars i ever drove it was an achievable dream car for me i had many cars that went up in value and i was able to sell those cars and use those proceeds to buy a certified pre-owned mclaren 570 now the one i have is the What you are looking at here they sent an original decal from two to four two hundred and forty five thousand two hundred and fifty thousand so the first pitch at l'hospital Aust more than one hundred thousand and depreciation around 120 thousand I think a depreciation and for all that Put three thousand miles on the car, ridiculous thing like that, now they're proud again and pay full sticker price. when I bought the car they had depreciated a lot because the 600 LT wasn't available so a lot of people traded in their 570 SS and I bought it at the end of the year so I basically got the winning discount and got a full two year warranty from McLaren now for McLaren to keep that warranty I think you need to get an annual service at the dealer my car had really sticky Corsa tires that only last about 3,000 miles but I drove that car over 5,000 miles and you know I didn't hit it but the tires They were still in pretty

good

shape, maybe the rears were wearing a bit, but they probably still had a couple thousand miles on a mine, didn't hit the car or anything. a pleasure to drive why i chose thi The car so other cars i had seen before buying this car were the Lamborghini Gallardo the Lamborghini Huracan which we have a video review of on this channel the Ferrari four five eight in the Ferrari 488 of which we have video of me driving Rock Reddy's 14 spider now the overpriced 488 which was like four grand so it didn't happen I love the Huracan and it was a very close second to the McLaren just for sound I usually said v10 still it will cost you more than 200 thousand maybe you can get a used one now for 180 190 but you know you can have a very similar experience in Audi r8 v10 again same engine almost same power for much less money which i did not consider in ohrid in I hadn't driven one at the time and the newer ones with the Huracan engine were

sold

to new so they were still depreciating I did it later when I originally had the McLaren I think I was going to sell it for a manual r8 v10 I like the McLaren the best and out of all those cars why did I choose it over the Ferrari for 5e?
why i sold my mclaren 570s the good and the bad
Well the 458 I can afford would probably be available in 2011, it was similarly priced to the McLaren 570 I used to run, maybe even the 2010 model, I mean, it really didn't. Made a lot of improvements over the years on the 45 II especially the 2012 models the dual clutch got a lot better so I tried the 2011 which was actually more than the 570. I want to buy the transmission. It wasn't that

good

. seen in art when it came out in 2010 mm lovey but compared to my 2017 570s subs no competition I also love the rear wheel drive nature just like the Ferrari and 570s I love the power steering I love the look of the McLaren I love glowing doors, so I'll tell you the things that are wrong with McLaren, but I want you to know that I really love that corner. the videos a couple of problems i had with it and why i ultimately decided to sell it now again, it was a dream car.

More Interesting Facts About,

why i sold my mclaren 570s the good and the bad...

I joined every second. Exotic car ownership may not be my forte as they drew too much attention. but i can tell you it gets a lot of attention not necessarily negative or positive but people fall off take your picture you go get gas people ask questions and sometimes you just want to drive and you want to be hassled to get you see well. with all your friends and stuff but regular people normal people not car enthusiasts who spend their money on cars like me you know you get a lot of attention unwanted attention so i didn't i can't say that maybe I got some negative attention The only negative attention I got is that all the diesel trucks with big wheels and lift kits wanted to race me which I don't understand because obviously they're great trucks for sure and they're very fast on a straight. line faster than you think but you know they can't keep up with a McLaren in the terms of a motorway exit ramp so I don't know why they would try but anyway some of you that its a problem for exotic car ownership honestly i always dreamed since i was a little kid to own an exotic car and this is me before Billy McLaren was immune now you know not counting McLaren f1 because i knew i couldnt afford that, so with the Ferraris and the Lamborghinis I knew. it was always going to be out of my price range a new car maybe i can get a used one it was a different experience than i thought do you think exotic cars will be cool i'll drive all the time like i always said when i bought the mclaren 570s i'm even going out by milk and I mean use all the time.
why i sold my mclaren 570s the good and the bad
The problem is you know the first world problem. You know that the car will be kept in a garage. in the garage move the cars and it's obviously very low to the ground so p potholes and speed bumps the last thing you want to do is break the wheel and the wheels were very tight never had a problem or flat tire or anything It draws a lot of attention when you're driving everyone is filming you on cars phones so if you did something stupid like speeding or dodge lanes someone will have it on camera so you never want to do that.
why i sold my mclaren 570s the good and the bad
Manual transmissions hold their value like my BMW 1 million their value goes up like my every time my clown shoe and they are fun to drive and appreciation pays for all my running costs insurance and maintenance or repairs for that car remains exotic. unfortunately and this isn't like a McLaren thing but any of the exotic cars do the opposite they keep going down in value and probably depreciate you know another hundred thousand if you keep them long enough so now the car was very reliable . I had a reli I can tell you there were two things on that car and neither really bothered me but they went back and forth with the dealer and unfortunately the dealer couldn't fix it. the sensor was not working on the tire and sorry it was a parking sensor excuse me and they said it had something to do with the lights and they replaced my lights and i also had a recall on airbags they replaced and the dealer did a Fantastic job doing that McLaren in Bergen County, he was phenomenal with his service, but that light problem that kept going off all the time, especially when I was backing up or someone was approaching me on the street, never went away and went to the dealership. three times again nothing I didn't like to drive the car and the other problem was the lights for some reason some kind of thing on the McLaren interferes with traffic light signals and it beeps constantly when your traffic light sounds like your backup sensor but no stall and again nothing i would enjoy the car so i had an IP on the exotic car again it would definitely be McLaren unfortunately like all exotic cars newer exotic cars keep depreciating like crazy .
I still believe that the car I had a mclaren 570s 2017 is a fantastic purchase and I highly recommend buying it the way I would buy it is from a dealer with a guarantee so if those electric gremlins happen to you and the same thing happened to me with my lotus and I love lotus as much as i love McLaren at least he didn't go to a dealer and have it taken care of or it will be under warranty the great thing about McLaren is that you can extend that warranty up to 12 years and it's like three or four thousand a year depending on the model and it's definitely worth doing so time for my McLaren I put five thousand miles on it and it was great that I was able to do that I

sold

it before the pandemic so luckily the appreciation was really nil because I bought used it and bought it in the winter and I sold it you know and the good weather made a big difference probably he was you know if I kept it in another year and I have to do tires that have to be serviced then it would get expensive and then the value would drop once the warranty expired so i thought it was the perfect storm to sell it now i can get 95% of my money back and you know to put that money on another car so the good news is they will come two new cars one is not a mclaren replacement but it will be my weekend sports car and i want a car that i can all the time without worrying about mileage in the amber the NSX go for some rides from my friend and i don't care if i get a rock chip and then a new daily driver so be sure to keep watching the channel like share and subscribe hit that notification bell because in the next two weeks you'll be discovering videos on the new cars thanks again for watching and i'll see you all Next time
