More Interesting Facts About,

what i spend in a week as a millionaire...

I'll go to Ralph's and buy 18 of these bad boys for three dollars and 79 cents. I will also buy a package of this sliced. turkey for $2.99, which lasts me about 14 days, then I buy this cheese at Trader Joe's for the bargain price of just three dollars and 99 cents, which lasts me about 21 days, and finally we have six generic brand bagels for a dollar and 99 cents. and a wide variety of generic cream cheese for 3 dollars and 89 cents and then we put it all together every morning. I will prepare two eggs, two slices of ham topped with a pinch of cheese that I combine with a bagel and cream. cheese and the total glass for this entire breakfast amounts to a delicious dollar and two cents, after that I top it off with a cup of homemade iced coffee, which totals to about 20 cents between the cost of the bean filters and the cream basically .

Same thing Starbucks will charge you for $5, so why not make it at home and save the money for the rest of Monday? I didn't really end up spending a lot of money. I worked from home in the morning. and then in the afternoon I decided to leave the house for a while and go to my office so I could do some real estate work now in terms of getting to my office it doesn't cost a lot of money I have a Tesla so the cost of electricity works out be a dollar a day because I drive so little and they always charge the car during off-peak hours, usually between 1:00 and 6:00 a.m. m. in the morning, but when I do I go anywhere, I only use the free Tesla superchargers from now on.
what i spend in a week as a millionaire
I have almost 115,000 miles of free supercharging left on the car because of all the references I got from the viral Tesla video, so I usually charge my car every time I go through a supercharger and then I'll try to use that charge as much as I can so I don't plug in. my car when I get home anyway, well, at the office, while I was working, I made myself an espresso and then for dinner I had a healthy frozen meal option that costs two dollars and 79 cents from Ralph's. Let me be very clear, but this day I was recovering from a stomach virus and didn't have much of an appetite.
I usually eat a lot more than this. but this is the first day where I started to feel a little bit about myself again, so my appetite was slowly starting to come back anyway when it was all said and done on Monday I ended up spending $1 on 22 cents on breakfast, a dollar on electricity to get to and from my office and then I spent an additional two dollars and 79 cents on dinner, bringing us to a total of five dollars and one cent. I spent on Monday, not bad at all, so now on Tuesday I had my usual breakfast and coffee for the price of a dollar and 22 cents.
I did some early work from home until about 11:00 am. m. and then I drove to meet with a wellness and meditation coach who is helping me learn to relax a little more. I just started I made this recently and it costs two hundred and fifty dollars, but I thought I'd give it a month to try it out, try it, and then see where it goes. I see this as money well spent and an investment in myself that should end up helping me a lot more in the long run, of course I always have to get there early to find free parking and of course I did, if possible.
I try to avoid spending money on parking meters since I have more money left to invest. Afterwards I returned home to do some filming for this channel and for lunch I enjoyed one of these delicious frozen beef tamales from Trader Joe's, where you could buy two of these for two dollars and fifty cents, so this little snack was a dollar and 25 cents and that night I decided to go out to dinner with my dad and when we had dinner we went all out, we made it super fancy, we're going to TGI Fridays, no joke, I actually really like TGI Fridays, yeah the haters gonna hate it , but I think it's pretty decent food now, since I was still recovering from a minor illness.
I didn't have much of an appetite and neither did he, so we ended up splitting some nachos. The grand total for that dinner was $23 for two with tax and tip, which means in total for that Tuesday I spent a whopping 275 dollars and 74 cents, but 250 of that was like a one-time charge, but again we're still counting . which now of course is Wednesday and I had the usual breakfast which cost me a dollar and 22 cents, after that I met with an architect and a contractor to go over some remodeling plans coming up next month. What drives are supposed to be empty? so I'm planning to remodel the property to increase its value and then update it so that day I wrote them a check for $7,000 as a deposit for the work that will start in a few weeks from now no I'm not sure if I should include this as an expense since it's technically a business expense and the money I spend on this should result in a much higher return when the drive is damaged from behind, but technically since I spent money I'll mention it here. because this is what I spend in a week regardless of where I spend it or what it is for, so there it is, I spent $7,000 on it now, usually on this day I go to dinner with my girlfriend and her family and they live about an hour away so usually what I end up doing is just charging super Tesla for free on the way back and that way it's enough to last me a few days after his family that night was making dinner and the week before I bought and brought with some rosé wine and tonight they were making pasta so obviously I didn't understand any additional material from this.
You'll have to take my word for it that this actually happens because it would be very strange for me to sit at the dinner table with your whole family going and trying to film like footage of the food and the people for a video and how much I spend on one. week, that would just be strange, but anyway the dinner was great and if everything wasn't good enough already There were even some leftovers that I was able to take home for lunch the next day, which means that in total for Wednesday the amount Total money I spent was seven thousand one dollar and twenty-two cents, but seven thousand dollars of that was for a house remodeling project, so I actually only spent a dollar 22, but again we're counting everything and yeah, a little over $7,000 that day.
Thursday was a very hectic day and I woke up around seven in the morning. In the morning and CNBC had notified me that they were going to release their video, the Millennium Money video, on me at nine in the morning, so I was exhausted in the morning and I panicked, what's a good video, wait? that everyone likes it and then also at nine in the morning I had four calls scheduled for my second channel the Graham Stefan show so I had to prepare for all that and I was very anxious for the video that was about to come out beep, oh, I skipped breakfast and only had coffee, so after filming all the calls for the second channel I went and had lunch, which consisted of leftover pasta and garlic bread that my girlfriend's family made the night before and then the rest of the day.
I was really just working from home and thought I was doing pretty well with expenses until a last minute plan came up to go on a double date with a good friend of mine. We met up with Kevin now on the way to meet up with everyone I noticed. Suddenly, the Millenial Money video was on the trending page, so I had to do something really special to celebrate it. Wouldn't you know? We have some sushi and mai-tais. The restaurant also accidentally brought out the wrong sushi roll for us, which they ended up giving us for free, which is great, but overall, with tax and tip for my girlfriend and I, that dinner cost sixty-three dollars and as usual , on the way back I stopped by the Tesla Supercharger to charge my car again and that means that in total that Thursday I spent sixty-three dollars and 20 cents on the cup of iced coffee that same day and then on Friday I started the day off road at 8am m. with a classic 20 cent iced coffee.
Then I ate the rest of the leftover pasta from Wednesday for breakfast and don't judge me, I can eat the leftovers if I want. Then I worked from home and edited several of my reaction videos for the second channel and then filmed this video up to this point, that's the best secret of frugality, by the way, is working so much that you don't have time to spend money, but then for lunch I took the other dollar in 25 cents. Trader Joe's beef tamale and then I started editing all of the filming of this video up to this point, since I worked from home non-stop all day, grabbed another one of those $2 79 cent healthy frozen meals for a quick snack and then kept working until approximately 9:00 p.m.
That night later, my girlfriend and I decided to go to a place in Los Angeles called Milk and they have incredibly good desserts. My girlfriend decided to treat her that night and we split a cookies and cream ice cream bar, so yeah, it was free, that means total. By Friday I spent a whopping four dollars and twenty-four cents, not bad at all, so Saturday was pretty fantastic for breakfast. I bought a cream cheese bagel and $0.20 worth of iced coffee, which totaled 55 cents worth of food for my girlfriend and me. filter reaction to my millennial money episode which by the way is already live on my second channel to show graham steffen link below in the description if you want to check it out it was pretty good after i spent a few hours editing that video on afternoon, but then at night things got a little crazy, we decided to do something really special and drive to Mastro Steakhouse in Malibu.
Now this isn't something we do often, it's not a typical Saturday night by any means, but every once in a while it's nice to try something out of the ordinary, go to the beach and do something a little different and yes, this place is incredibly nice, like they have $14 asparagus. I could make my own reaction video just on this menu because it's mind blowing, but digression for dinner, we got fried calamari, a 16 ounce halibut crusted filet and mash of garlic potatoes and yes, it turned out to be 205 dollars and 82 cents with tax and tip, but hey, you know what?
For the right occasions, it's good to treat yourself, it's nice. doing something out of the ordinary and switching it up between Trader Joe's beef tamales and frozen meals with healthy twists, that means I spent two hundred and six dollars and 37 cents total on Saturday, but remember that almost everything is a one-time extravaganza. which doesn't really get done very often, but you know, it's still there, that's what I spent that day and then Sunday came and I got very good news for everyone on Sunday, there were leftovers from Mastro's and of course that's What I had for breakfast also means I didn't have to spend any money that morning on breakfast, other than the cost of my 20-cent iced coffee.
Afterwards we went to look at some real estate for sale and for those who have been following this channel for a while I am recently trying to buy another property here in downtown Los Angeles so I am constantly looking for the right place to find as much inventory as possible on the market after my girlfriend bought some. I did the shopping and we decided to make tacos for dinner, so we ate them while Ramsey the cat just watched with envy, after thatI worked some more, watched a little The Office, and then realized I didn't spend any money that day.
Whatever, other than the cost of my 20-cent iced coffee, it was an unlocked achievement, meaning that for the entire week on absolutely everything I mentioned I spent a total of seven thousand five hundred and fifty-five dollars and 51 cents, which which sounds absolutely ridiculous when I hear you say that but let me set the record straight so I can feel a little better about myself because remember that seven thousand dollars of that was a deposit for a home remodeling project at one of my rental properties, then two hundred and fifty dollars of that was for the meditation coach and that's not something I do every week and it's not intended to be a recurring charge and finally the two hundred five dollars in eighty two cents is certainly a rare extravagance if it's Mastro, that doesn't happen very often , so if we just exclude those unusual one-time charges, my personal expenses are actually more like ninety-nine dollars and 69 cents per week, which to me is much more typical of a normal week than going to and spending $200 on a Saturday the night at Mastro's, though, let's be real because that's still not the full picture and my personal expenses don't end there because, on the surface, I have my normal personal expenses, but what about everything else?
What happens to my mortgage payment? my health insurance, my car payment, and hitting the like button for YouTube algorithm payments, basically, here's how much my life really costs now. First, we get a home. Now I bought this property and it is a duplex, so it has two units. I live in one of the units I am filming in from time to time I rent the other unit my total mortgage payment is $95 a day my property taxes are $17 and 83 cents a day and my homeowners insurance is four dollars and fifty cents a day which means it cost me one hundred and nineteen dollars a day to own this place, fortunately like I said it has two units which means I can rent the other unit and I'm about to re-read the other unit For $2,700 a month, my total out-of-pocket costs for living here are $29 a day;
However, by making the mortgage payment each month, I am paying off the loan balance by an additional thirty-three dollars per day, which means that once the home equity is counted, it is as if I am being paid four bucks every day just to live here and make videos in my garage, so then we got the car payment. Now when I bought it, I financed it 100% and my payment turns out to be $632.00 a month, which is $21 a day or $147 a week, luckily because they have a very low interest rate on that loan, just $119 a month of that payment goes toward interest and the rest, in principle, is for the car, so fortunately it makes it a little easier knowing that most of the payment is just the loan payment, but for the purposes from this video, let's call this an extra $147 a week for my car payment, then we have utilities.
Now, on average, I pay about a hundred and fifty. ten dollars a month between electricity and water, which is equivalent to three dollars and sixty cents a day. Then I'll spend another fifteen dollars a month on gas which is used to heat the water and also power the stove, so that's an extra fifty cents a day, then I spent eighty dollars a month on high-speed internet with spectrum, which equals at two dollars and sixty-six cents a day and finally eighty-five dollars a month on my phone bill, which turns out to be two dollars and 88 cents a day, that means I spend an average of 67 dollars and 15 cents on a certain week on all my utilities and it continues because I have other recurring expenses that are just billed at random times during the month.
I got my health insurance plan which costs two hundred and fifteen dollars a month, which is seven dollars and sixteen cents a day or fifty dollars and twelve cents a week. Then we also got car insurance for one hundred and twenty-five dollars a month. month, which is four dollars and sixteen cents a day or twenty-nine dollars and twelve cents a week and then we got my gym membership for two hundred and twenty dollars a month. I get it, it's expensive. I pay for convenience because it is literally correct. next to my office, but that costs seven dollars and 33 cents a day, which is fifty-one dollars and thirty-one cents a week, and lastly, how could I forget about the Amazon Prime membership For thirteen dollars a month, what does this mean? week that cost me three dollars and twenty-five cents, so now in this category it cost me one hundred thirty-three dollars and fifty-six cents a week and then we got my personal travel credit cards with annual fees, one of them, the American Express Platinum at five hundred and fifty dollars a year, which is ten dollars and fifty-seven cents a week, so the five hundred and fifty dollars a year I spend on that card usually ends up returning me thousands of dollars in free travel and rewards, then having my Chase Sapphire Reserve for four hundred and fifty dollars a year or eight dollars and sixty-five cents a week now that cost is a little misleading because it includes a $300 travel credit that you get each year plus Priority Pass lounge access, is worth another $95 a year and lastly, we have the infamous $10 million credit card, JPMorgan Reserve, which costs another $450 a year or eight dollars and 65 cents a week.
This is practically identical to the Chase Sapphire Reserve. I get the same three. One hundred dollar travel credit. I get the same priority lounge access worth $95 and I also get United Club access, so the annual fee basically pays for itself, but again we'll count this as an expense just for the purposes of this video . So that leaves us with a total of $27.87 per week in annual credit card fees. When you add all that up, it comes to a total of three hundred and seventy-five dollars and fifty-eight cents this week between them all. The behind-the-scenes expenses can't really be seen on top of everything else I just mentioned;
However, if you added up everything I've spent this week, including the house renovation and other non-recurring expenses, then yes. I ended up spending seven thousand nine hundred thirty-one dollars and nine cents this week, but if you subtract the renewal, the non-recurring meditation trainer, and also the one-time extravaganza that goes to Mastro's, my actual normal weekly expenses are more than four hundred and seventy-five dollars and twenty-seven cents for everything I mentioned, everything that is repeated behind the scenes and everything that I normally spend money on and that is more in line with what I normally spend in a week when I am 29 years old and live here in Los Angeles, California, so with that being said, thank you so much for watching.
