I don't think I've covered any cases that have infuriated me to the point that this has infuriated me and I feel like you guys are going to 100% understand why I feel. So, once I dig into this, it's a very, very complicated situation, it's very heartbreaking, unfortunately to me it's very obvious what's going on here, but it's the way it's treated that makes it so much worse, so today's case. is about the disappearance of Edward Dillon and Austin Bryant, so Edward Dillon, the name his biological mother gave him, was Dylan Edward appears later in the picture, but because he is under each missing persons page and is considers him a missing person based on the name Edward, that's the one I'm going to use for him today, from what I've heard, it's not what he preferred, he wanted his birth name Dylan and then like I said, his brother minor, Austin, so I guess just to go. go ahead and continue with this, it wasn't just the two of them, Edouard, often and they had a very, very young brother who I have personally seen called David, but later I also saw him called James, so I said this is it's going to be very very complicated, I will refer to them as the last names they were known to have, so these children had a very difficult upbringing, their mother had very traumatizing events that I am NOT going to go into details, it

to her . when he was quite young and because of this he suffered from many different illnesses so he was formally diagnosed with severe depression, bipolar disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder which is post-traumatic stress disorder due to these events that

to him earlier in his life and when she was finally diagnosed with all of this, she had three children at the time and she was put on some very, very strong medications that essentially made her sleep all day so she could cope with how she obviously felt as a mother when you're suffering alone with those three different very difficult mental illnesses. and then you have these very strong medications that you are taking, it can become incredibly difficult to care for your children and that was already a problem, but to make things a little worse, there were many accusations from the school that there was abuse and neglect at home.

From what I've read, the kids lived in a pretty nice house with their mother, but they lived near a kennel. and they loved it because they could go play with the dogs and pet them and it was fun one day Edward came to school and the school noticed that he had what looked like a very bad dog bite on the back of his leg and they came over and they claimed this was negligence the mother was not taking care of the dog bite the mother was not taking care of them when they were around these dogs she personally claimed it was just an infected mosquito bite because of this social services intervened and the children were placed in foster care, that's when the kids went to Monument Colorado with Edward and Linda Bryant as foster kids in 1999, so it seems like a great situation, their mom got them every Wednesday night, she would go and take them to McDonald's to have a nice dinner and then I had them on the weekends and it seemed to be working and satisfying everyone involved.

She was able to deal better with her mental illness. I had someone who I knew was always there to properly care for these children and the adoptive parents seemed very, very happy and both Edward and Linda seemed to be very, very good parents, so after a few months of the children being in the Bryant house, everything was working perfectly and Linda and Edward approached the boy's birth mother and asked her if she could fully adopt the children and this was one of those points where she realized that He had a decision to make and he loved his children more than anything but he just wasn't in the best position to take care of them and he honestly believed that if they went to the shiny house they would have a mother and father in the picture and they would be able to take care of them. children better, all the things I listed above, so he allowed them to formally adopt his children in At this point there really wasn't any red flags when he spoke to Linda and Edward from Bryant, as I said they seemed like exceptional parents and The children had no complaints when they were just foster children, but as soon as the

adoption

process began, some things began to happen, so Dylan was renamed Edward Dylan Bryant and the family referred to him as Edward, which announced very verbally to everyone that she didn't like that name, she didn't want that name and she started cursing at her adoptive parents saying my my name is Dylan, call me Dylan and her mother didn't realize this and was a little alarmed because she had never heard her son before she was upset because they were changing her son's name with his adoptive father's name, it was one of those really In delicate situations is when there is some level of conflict when the

adoption

occurs, between the children who they're upset and new parents who want something that you know needs to change and that's what everyone attributed to that's how things were going.

The children then began to frequently ask their birth mother when they were going to return home, but by the time they started asking this, the Bryant house was their home and their birth mother was technically no longer legally their mother, the birth mother. The child called frequently. The house and Edward Dillon were always sitting there waiting to talk to her, they would talk for hours, but the closer it got to the finalization of the adoption, things got a little difficult and instead of him answering, the Bryants answered and they. He always had some excuse as to why Edward couldn't answer the phone and it finally got to the point where the Bryants asked the boy's biological mother to stop calling completely and the last time he spoke to his children was on Christmas 1999. , just before everything was finalized in 2000, in early 2000, both Austin and Edward were officially adopted by the Bryants and I know that his younger brother was also adopted, but he is still alive and well and his whereabouts are known, so that I couldn't meet.

Lots of information regarding his particular involvement, position and place in all of this. Boston was four at the time of completion and Edward was seven, so they were both quite young and I'm pretty sure their son was younger. My brother was about 15 months old at the time. One of the things that made this adoption a little different is that both Edward and Austin were considered special needs, so when they were adopted because I know for a fact that Edward was diagnosed with ADHD. I'm not sure what Austin was diagnosed with, but because both children had some type of disability, the Bryants were given an allowance for this visually after a family officially adopts a child into their home, you know not they are given money, usually We are not controlled, but in situations, for example in Colorado, where you adopt a large number of siblings to keep the children together or you adopt someone with special needs, they will continue to give you new assistance essentially to help you because It is a slightly more complicated situation than simply adopting a healthy child, so they were given $1,800 a month for both children and the only thing they were required to continue receiving the subsidy was to make a monthly list to prove that both children They had been in the house that month and to provide proof of education and other than that, there was no monitoring, no one came to make sure the children were physically in the house.

To their advantage, the couple continued to live in Monument Colorado from 1999, when they began raising the children, until 2005 and there had only been one reported incident with any of those adopted children in that time period and that was on April 6, 2002 and an incident was reported where Austin was said to have run away and note that when Austin was adopted in 1999 he was only four years old.

So he was still quite young when this incident occurred, the authorities realized this immediately, brought a helicopter and searched the entire area. Austin actually ended up coming out of some bushes right next to the garage and when he talked to the police they didn't say it. Why he ran away, he didn't have any kind of reasoning, he just said that the only reason he didn't come out was because he was scared by the commotion, so right there was a little red flag for some reason, Austin felt the need. running away from this family even at such a young age in 2005 Linda and Edward moved to Texas with all the children and shortly after this move they ended up separated so they had two separate houses and two separate towns in Texas and ended up selling the two homes they owned and in Colorado, they also ended up filing for bankruptcy in 2007 and listed over one hundred and twenty-six thousand dollars in adoption benefits as part of their income and when they wrote all this down they had the total number of The children were dependents up to eight, So after adopting these three children, they adopted five more and in total they received about five thousand five hundred dollars a month and subsidies for all these children combined.

However, Linda had a biological daughter that she also fostered. children and that's when things started to get weird. In January 2011, two of the foster children who had been living with Linda's daughter notified authorities that Austin Bryant had not been seen since sometime between 2003 and 2005, that is, six more years. years ago one of these children disappeared and not a single person reported him missing. Two men who came forward to authorities had been at Linda's daughter's foster home living with her in 2003 and were very suspicious of what happened to Austin. Remember that Austin always had black people. He had hives on his eyes, and he told them horrible stories as he told one of them, in particular, horrible stories about being locked in a trunk and getting electric shocks and going days without food and that Linda Bryant made him run up and down stairs. new. and again and again and he was just horribly abused, but Austin also told them stories about his brother Edward and the two boys who had

They found him at Fort Campbell and he was in the military and had very interesting information to tell them, so until now they already knew that Austin disappeared sometime between 2003 and 2005 and that the boys had never seen Edward, but then James told them that He wasn't officially in the Brighton house until 2001 and when he moved there he also didn't see his brother Edward, so Edward had only been in the house for a year before he too disappeared. James was able to agree with what the other two men came forward and told the authorities that Austin was horrible.

Lee abused him in the bright house. He said that he remembers that they locked up his brother. a trunk and they would move him from the bedroom to the closet to the garage and sometimes he would be locked in the trunk of the car and he could hear his brother hitting him trying to escape for hours at a time. It was a horrible situation and James said that he had never asked any questions, but based on this he was almost certain that the Bryans had done something to his brother Austin and it is not known at all what happened to Edward.

The authorities came to question both Linda and Edward Bryant and this is where things took a blatant turn. It was obvious that there was something very, very

wrong

in this house and these two definitely had something to do with it first. Linda claimed that the children had been living with her the entire time and that they had grown up at that time and that she was not in contact with them and then she said that they went to visit their biological mother and Oklahoma and had never returned, they questioned everyone the children and questioned Linda's biological daughter and had all been told that both Edward and Austin had been institutionalized. and that is why they were in the house, but this was not even one of the reasons she gave to the authorities.

Linda claimed that both children ran away at the same time in May 2003 and Edward said that Edward Jr. For understanding purposes, she ran away in 2001 and Austin ran away in 2005, so they were two completely different stories and neither of them matched in any way, but the only thing that did match is that both Linda and Edward stated that The Boys They ran away to be with their biological family, so shortly after revealing this information to the police, the police showed up at their biological grandmother's house and completely surrounded her, scaring the hell out of this woman, she didn't know what was going on. and after searching they realized that none of the boys were there and they had never been there after going through all the documents they could find about Edward and Austin and let me tell you there are very few if any and at some point we disappeared . in 2001, at the age of only 8, incredibly missing after being pulled out of public school to be homeschooled in 2003, anyway, from 2003 onwards there were no further records of any of the children, the only thing that could prove is that even after the children disappeared from all records, both Edward and Linda Bryant continued to receive over $1700 a month and subsidies for both children and somehow passed every 3 year interview and were able to give these two documents and continue.

Upon receiving this money, no questions asked, in December 2003, someone billed Medicaid on Edward's behalf, but this is at a time when they do not believe Edward was already in the house, so they are not sure where this bill came, if it was another way for them to get money the whole story made absolutely no sense how you lose two of your children you go on to adopt five more you move to a different state and somehow manage to keep it hidden that those children are

How did these children escape? everyone's fingers when they could have been caught countless times this sent everyone into a tailspin everyone was incredibly upset, confused and disappointed his mother his birth mother was so distraught she had no idea what was going on and everyone was wondering how this is possible There are so many flaws in the system that for years these children were never checked, how this family adopted five more children after the fact because all of these other five adopted children were minors when Edward and Linda were finally arrested in February 2011. means they had to having been adopted after these children went missing, how did no one check, there are checks that need to be done at the home, there are inspections and interviews, what the heck how did she manage well now with a story that has really struck a nerve in our community monument siblings too young missing for nearly a decade their adoptive parents in jail on $1 million bail as authorities conduct possible homicide investigation now last night news first 5's carolyn carver revealed shocking allegation of physical abuse in court documents today she is going deeper, asking the El Paso County Department of Human Services how this could happen and why our tax dollars could have contributed to this elaborate suspected fraud scheme that grew in the system.

Austin Bryant, age 7, was a foster child, now Pasco County was approved to be adopted by

disappeared once both children had been completely released adopted, the state was no longer legally allowed to carry out any type of control over the children when a child is adopted into a family, whether that family's child, biological or not, which I think is absolutely beautiful and amazing, but this shows that there were so many and there are still so many flaws in the system.

Linda had even gone to great lengths to make it look like the kids were still in the house, which was later discovered that she had Googled and printed pictures of kids off the internet and put them in frames all over the house, I mean code at home and on Google Images and said, "oh, this here is Austin when I was this age." The children were gone. James even told authorities when they interviewed him that there was a time when social services had made an appointment to come and inspect the house, now I don't know for what exact reason, but then they asked James to come. one of his friends posed as one of the guys for this particular date, for one reason or another the date was canceled and was never rescheduled, so again everything was forgotten, as I said before, in February of 2011, both Linda and Edward were arrested and charged with multiple counts of theft, conspiracy, forgery and attempting to influence a public official, they were extradited from Texas to Colorado and each was held on $1 million bail after Adding it all up, they had raised approximately $175,000 and benefits for Edward and Austin after both children no longer lived in the house and had never reported any of these children missing, even though they were not only minors but children under the age of 10. , Edward Bryant told the authorities that he had no idea that they were still receiving payments as if that was some way to get away with the disappearance of these children, but to me, who cares if he knew they were receiving payments or not?

Still, she let two of her own children that she adopted into her heart disappear without reporting them missing and this is just the beginning of what you're about to see me incredibly angry and so incredibly angry because the focus in all of this is money, it's the money they stole. Linda ended up confessing that she did it on purpose. she covered up the disappearances of both children so that she could continue receiving payments for these two children. She admitted this, even going so far as to invent a fake school. She kept cheating the system over and over and over and over, both Linda and Edward completely denying it. In all of the abuse allegations they denied murdering any of the children, but there are some things Linda decided again that she would admit: She apparently admitted to wrapping Austen so tightly in a blanket that he couldn't move, but of course he did. . some kind of excuse for that she said, well a therapist told me that's the best thing to do with him, she said she wasn't actually denying Austin food, it was just called delayed feeding again, what does that mean in the world? and she said that she made the kids go up and down the stairs as a form of exercise, she seemed like she was willing to give these little tidbits and she always had an explanation for it, but unfortunately it's very obvious that she didn't care. what she admitted didn't matter what she said, it didn't matter what she happened to any of these kids because that was never the focus and still isn't the focus.

Linda faced one hundred and forty-eight felony charges and Edward faced a total of thirteen charges and none of the charges were related to the child's disappearance, but all were related to the money they obtained after the children disappeared. He still had these five minors who had been living in his house that ended up becoming Ward's of the state of Texas, so not only were the lives of Edward, Austin and his brother James, and the two children who realized that these other children were missing and the mother who thought she was putting these children and trusted them in their hands not only were they all affected, but then these other five children that they eagerly took to her home were also placed back under the guardianship of the state because they were minors and how to basically start their journey over, at one point Linda was asked what it should be.

I broke up with her and if these words don't tell the truth then I don't know what it means when she was asked this question she herself mentioned manslaughter she literally said she would accept all charges including a manslaughter charge if she could be kept away Edward. from prison so he could take care of the other five children no one mentioned manslaughter she brought this up on her own why would anyone file a manslaughter charge unless they had some kind of guilty conscience but knew they wouldn't do it to them nothing to Linda or Edward? Instead, in regards to the child's disappearance, in 2012, Linda pleaded guilty to 54 felonies and was sentenced to 42 years in prison and then Evert pleaded guilty to five felonies and was sentenced to thirty years in prison. , but again, no charges were directly related to the children, just the money the state lost, some searches were done for the children, investigators and k9 units searched the house they had originally lived in in Monument Colorado, the area It was meticulously recorded, they even used geographic information systems to look for any alteration in the soil they were on.

I was able to go back years and check for some kind of variation to see if maybe the children had been buried somewhere. They had a couple different places they dug to look for the children, but in the end they found nothing. The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children created updated photographs of Edward and Austin in the hopes that maybe if they really had run away, someone would recognize them, and police made sure to bring to light the stories of children everywhere. , on social networks and in any type of media. could and does hope that maybe someone who knew the Bryants at some point would come forward andhad a little information, the tips came and they looked at them all, but again it led nowhere.

The authorities went to talk to the neighbors to ask them: Hello, these. two kids were here at one point and disappeared, didn't you notice that? And sure enough, not a single person had even admitted that one of the neighbors seemed very, very shady and acted incredibly strange, but still these kids were left behind and completely dismissed by absolutely everyone. I've talked about it before on this channel where we're just not responsible for ourselves, we're not responsible for anyone around us. I think about my children and I think about where I live, every neighbor, the people who work. here, if everyone knows me and everyone knows my children, if one of my children has gone somewhere, someone always asks and the fact that no one has done that for these children is incredibly heartbreaking, it slows down and infuriates the family home in Colorado. perfectly up a mountain range and if they had done anything to any of those kids, if the Bryants had done anything to any of those kids, it would have been incredibly easy to hide them in those mountains, there was no way they would ever be found and that's scary.

What bothers me is that there are so many areas that these kids failed, both Linda and Edward had threats in the media that they would face possible murder charges, but nothing when they were originally arrested, they were arrested for being neglectful of their children. , they were not arrested for not reporting a missing minor person, which is their son, they were not charged for anything. it was like money money money money money these kids are missing we'll look for them but we're not going to accuse the last people who were supposed to have them and who possibly haven't reported them missing for ten years now nothing is like these the kids didn't matter Austin was practically the only one with existing files at the time Edward and Austin were adopted into the Bryant family Edward basically ceased to exist, aside from the forged documents made by Linda herself in social services year after year after year after year after year I continued to accept these two pieces of paper from the Bryant family without re-verifying anything, so tell me what these established requirements are and what they are for, so that you have something to fall back on when you realize that you have done your job incorrectly when you have not verified to no one, it's just to have this proof to say you're not responsible if they weren't going to verify it, what's the point when you add things up, there were 20 separate documents? that were submitted and 20 times no one checked anything as far as the requirements, there were three separate interviews that were conducted with both Linda and Edward Bryant and those were three more times, so now we have a total of 23 times that this was simply It was learned five times that the children were adopted later, which brings us to a total of 28 times more all the inspections that had to be done at the home so that these children could be adopted.

Interviews that prove this and that to show that they could support these children, there are so many times 28 times and so many more that I just don't know that both Edward and Austen fell into oblivion and 28 times where random Google images and false memories held them back to get more money 28 times than someone doesn't They care enough to double check the information that was sent to them and you guys have to understand that it's so minimal, it's so minimal. I bet you the real total is more than 100 times, you know, it's heartbreaking, it's heartbreaking that this. could happen and go on for so long and these guys, just knowing that no one knew they cared, this is a funny and specific person I've seen talk about this situation, it's a government official, this person says they get a grant for laptops and annually they have to provide four to five different documents on these laptops and they have to physically prove that they still have them, someone has to see each of the laptops that they need to be accounted for and the fact that the government cares more and you know it actually feels physically I need to see these laptops, but they don't feel the need to double check on the human beings, these children that they have placed in a home, what is happening in this world system is incredibly flawed and I know There are a lot of people out there and I know some social workers personally and it is a situation where there are so few social workers that they are overworked, underpaid and could come in with a heart of gold but the amount of help is like they have to cut themselves into thousands of pieces to give to all these different kids and all these different people they work with and there just can't be enough attention paid to any of this and that's not necessarily the social workers' fault. and the people who work there because I'm sure that given the situation they're in, they're doing the best they can, but it just goes to show how seriously the core of everything could be that so desperately needs to be changed.

So much that they want to do, there could be so many things that these social workers want to reach out and change and do, but when they're subject to these laws, these horrible, flawed laws, what are they supposed to do? Department that is the county they lived in Colorado defended themselves strongly and said they believe they could not have done anything more for these children, but I honestly 100% disagree that at this point you 100% support DHS and all decisions taken. So far I support our policies and programs as they currently exist, but we are always willing to discuss processes.

In any case that arises, we will review our practices and we are not afraid to change them to improve the system, so until we find out what really happened to Austin and Edward Bryan. We can only wonder if the system they grew up in really works if a few months had passed undetected, because obviously there will be a time lag between when things are reviewed. As far as the documents and these interviews go, I understand that 10 years is just mind-blowing, at that time there were so many things you could have done, so many things you could have done, and the fact that even after all this you realize That it must have been shocking to realize that it had been so long that you hadn't seen these guys move on and only accused Linda and Edward with things revolving around the money the state lost, at least take that time to compensate. the injustice that you have done to these two children all the injustice that has been done to them but you still ruin it I don't understand it and I know that there are so many people out there that say well why didn't those other two children do it come in first why James didn't say something why the birth mother said something you have to keep in mind Linda and Edward were so manipulative Edward said he didn't even know they were still getting money now, whether that's true or not, there is I don't know at all, but when they told everyone, oh these kids, they have ADHD, they were too crazy, they were institutionalized, you know, we decided to give up our rights, a lot of people are not going to question that, especially the little kids they had. no one you imagine feeling that imagine being horribly abused by the people who took you in and who were supposed to love you imagine those same people your lifeline your life support when you no longer have anything and they just disappeared and there is no one else who to have your back there is not a single other person imagine how alone they must have felt with what happened to them and I hope they escaped honestly I hope they did and that they are out there and they are happy and they are living their life away about the way they were being treated in that house, but I feel it so deeply within me that Linda and Edward did something to those children and I just don't know if justice will ever be served.

Sincerely I dont know. I'm surprised there aren't any charges of neglect or anything good, both Linda and Edward will probably end up dying in prison, but that doesn't change the fact that both kids could have died and there won't be any kind of justice for them. The mountain ranges just behind the hole stretch so far and so much time has passed that within a few years Edward would be gone, there's a small chance something of these kids and me will be found. I just hope there is still a person out there who knows more than what they have said and will introduce adoption, it can be such a beautiful thing.

Just repeating, blues don't have the ability to have their own child, not just for themselves, you know, but for kids who didn't have the option to stay with their biological parents and they want someone to be there for them and they want someone I love them but when people just pass by and adopt children who are disabled just for the money and then don't take care of them and throw them away if you only knew the number of horror stories I heard while researching all of this the number of horror stories that I stumbled upon while researching this case I fell down this rabbit hole of case after case where people adopt children to live out their sick fantasies that they can't live with anyone else and you know the fact that these people had more of a child and they took one of them and hurt another. them or murder one of them and you know no one would know and they would continue to adopt more, I just don't understand it and there is a huge army of people who say, well there will always be those bad families that do that.

There will always be those bad people who adopt children for money and then cast them aside or adopt them to fulfill their sick fantasies, but to me, even one person can adopt a child and do these horrible things for years and years and years after years and no one notices even when they are being checked. I challenge any of you after this to go and research how common things like this actually are and you'll be surprised that more hasn't been done and it's almost like one of these things where we think, oh, that's going to happen, That doesn't mean we should change the core of all of this, you know, that doesn't mean it denies all good things, obviously it doesn't deny all good parents, but the fact that we're okay with the rules still failing, even a child is mind blowing to me and I feel like I wasn't even aware of things like this until I covered this case and now I'm so caught up in it and I knew this was something I had to share on my channel and start a conversation because it was incredibly unconscious and I know many of you probably are too and are in such shock that it's so horrible that this kind of thing.

It can happen so easily and you just assume there is absolutely no way and no way to know what happened to any of those guys; There's no way to know if anyone will ever find them in all this time I've been covering cases, of course I have. I've only been doing this for a year and I've come across a case that is so obviously neglect on the part of the parents. only to read later that those same parents were only charged for the lost state money and fraud and not for the children. that they lost, I never expected to come across a case like that, my jaw dropped to the floor just to see how little they actually cared, just to see how little anyone really cared about those kids and just to see where the focus was, It's almost It's unbelievable at the time and I know you guys know exactly where I'm coming from and I hope I never see a case like this again.

I know I'll probably see it, but I hope I don't because I haven't felt anything other than this. The fire of anger has been burning inside me since I saw where the priorities were and it's sick and twisted and it's things like this that ruin my mind forever, so at this point someone does know something, whether it's Linda, or Edward, or your daughter, whether it's one of the children you just can't remember because of all the trauma they probably suffered. I have no idea, but I hope there is some kind of justice for these kids. Thank you all very much for watching this video.

Cases like this where I see and really feel the impact of looking at this camera that is literally like a foot in front of me, like I could reach out and touch them. I really realized the impact of looking into this camera and I really look like Almost 200,000 people in the face when I tell these stories and knowing that before I start this before I don't even believe it was 3040 minutes ago when I sat down maybe a handful of people They knew about these kids and knowing that I just sat down and informed 200,000 people. about them it feels so good because it's what they deserve, it's what they deserve and I cry in every video now because I'm so emotionally stripped from making these videos, but it's things like this that make it for me things like This It makes me know that I'm doing all this for the right reasons because these kids had no one and were probably very alone and if I can share that story with as many people as possible by just yelling at the camera how angry I am then.

I'm happy with it, I'm happy with it, I hope it does something.to give those kids justice before continuing to cry and look crazy in front of the camera. At this point, everyone probably thinks I've totally lost it, but I just want to thank you for taking the time to listen to his story.
