Sasha Calle’s Supergirl Explained: Who is Kara in The Flash?

Why does her origin story seem so different from what we've seen in the CW comics? Well, with that out of the way, let's look at the basic story of Supergirl in the comics and then compare it to what Andy Musketti has prepared for us. Supergirl has had many origin stories in the comics but the one that remains constant is where she is the daughter of Superman's uncle, Zorel, and his wife, Elura, being Kalel's first cousin, was sent to Earth to protect him. but his capsule deviated and remained in suspended animation, so the body did not age when it arrived on earth.

Years had passed and Clark Kent had already become Superman, so even though Kara was older than her cousin, he appears much younger instead of receiving guidance and protection from her, he ends up guiding her while she settles in. on Earth, but here on the dceu the story seems to be very different. Sasha Kaye is playing an alternate universe version of Supergirl rather than the classic version that coexists with her Kryptonian cousin. She looks so different from the blonde comic book counterpart of her because the dceu wanted to give us something new instead of the Kryptonian blonde girl. dceu's Supergirl has a short black hair look because she was inspired by Lira Elaine Kent in the Injustice Gods Among Us story.

Lara is Superman's daughter from a different universe, there she was active as a superhero. with her father, but in the dceu only the appearance she has is similar to that of Lara, but her real name is Cara, it is not quark, my name is Cara, she replaces Clark Kent and, from what the narrative seems , it was Cara zarl. who was sent to Earth during the destruction of Krypton but as soon as she arrived on Earth she was not found by a kind couple like Jonathan and Martha Kent, the government found her and locked her away to perform experiments on her again.

This is a movement. that's also inspired by the comics story from there when Barry altered the timeline. Clark Kent was never raised in Smallville by his human parents. He was caught by the government and constantly experimented to not be nourished by Earth's yellow sun. Zod arrives on Earth alone now, so to protect Earth from him, Batman and the two Berries go to free Clark Kent from the prison he was trapped in and end up fighting with a car there after being freed, she would be who would fight Zod and his forces in the final battle of the film.

Originally, this movie was supposed to end with Zara defeating Zod and Barry. trying to restore the universe, but instead of Henry Cavill, Superman, and Ben Affleck's Batman, Barry's efforts would have caused Sasha Kaye Supergirl and Michael Keaton to become permanent in the DCEU.
