in the eyes a week before she turns nine and tell her that three more kids were shot to death in her classroom, but mom can't take half of her colleagues to school. Congress cares enough to do something about this, how can anyone in this chamber agree to tell their children or grandchildren that how can you see children taking pictures right outside on the steps of the capitol and Do nothing to prevent your school from being locked down? Then, how can we call ourselves the greatest country in the world when its elected leaders stand idly by while children are murdered hiding under their desks?

We can't, and those of you who stray or give up should be ashamed.
