need

. Obviously you

need

balloons. I recommend using various colors and sizes. I usually use balloons. With 18 12 and 5 inch balloons you

will

want to invest in a balloon pump. I highly recommend it. It costs between 15 and 20 dollars depending on where you buy it and you

will

not regret this purchase. I promise you'll want to get a balloon too. tape and glue dots and then some twine to hang your garland.

Well the first thing you need to do is determine how much balloon tape you need so for this video I'm using our entryway wall because there are already hooks and then I don't have to take out my command hooks you'll probably hang your balloon garland on a different area than where you will need the command hooks and I would go ahead and hang them now so spread out your command hooks depending on how much space you want. Cover it with your balloon garland Measure your ribbon from one end to the other, make sure you have enough if you want your balloon garland to be asymmetrical, then you want to make sure to leave some balloon ribbon hanging from one of the hooks, right? so now we're going to set up our workstation and we're going to do this by hanging the ribbon between two chairs and spreading the chairs out so that the balloon ribbon is nice and tight.

I usually inflate them as I go, so I apologize I'm out of frame here, but don't worry, I'll give you a close-up. Taken here in a second, but as you can see, my balloon ribbon is pretty full, so I go ahead and untie it from the chairs and move it to the hooks, so at this point my balloon garland is nowhere near ready, how

, it is finally taking shape. This is my favorite part. I love being able to rearrange the balloons to create whatever vision I have in mind. I start by tightening the balloon tape and then changing the balloons and then also removing some balloons and placing them in different places.
You want to consider the color here if you have too many of one color touching each other go ahead and break it up with a different color so that as I shape the balloon garland I like to take a step back after adding or removing the balloon each time This is the way I can take in the overall look and know I'm going in the right direction, so since I really like the way the balloon garland is forming, it's time to move on to the next balloon size, which for this one. garland is Now I'm going to use the same five inch balloon tips that I use with the other balloon sizes, you know, making sure to do the double stretch technique and also give it more of a bubble shape than a balloon shape, however, I'm not going to do that.
Attaching them to the balloon tape, I attached them using a couple of glue dots and then simply gluing them to the other balloons in place of the balloon tape. I really think adding the five inch balloons elevates the overall look. I keep saying I need to come. I can think of a different way to say it, it just enhances your balloon garland, makes it look a little more professional and a little more put together, and it's that perfect finishing touch. Also, five inch balloons are great for covering any gaps or maybe bugs, I don't know, they're not really bugs, but maybe if you can see the knot of a balloon, this is when you want to hide the five inch ones more small ones, so here's a close up of how I place the glue dots that I normally use. make two on each side of the knot and then attach them to at least one or two other balloons in the garland, so I hope you find this balloon garland useful and my tips and tricks will help you next time you find yourself creating the balloon garland. balloons, this shouldn't be a stressful task for your next event, it should be something you have fun with and can be creative with, so don't overthink it and just enjoy the process so you can do it in this
