Truth be told, I found these last year. They are little wooden bunny shapes and they are really

very

pretty. they are very thick they come only on the bare wood but I applied just one coat of chalk paint over the front and the reason I did one coat is because I wanted to give it a little bit more of a whitewashed look but you can go ahead and take That decision depends on your personal preference, so I went ahead and applied the chalk paint. I'll link my favorite below and I've had them for so long that I just wasn't inspired on how to use them.

More Interesting Facts About,

a very dollar tree easter with my cricut 9 dollar tree easter cricut craft ideas...

I actually have six and my original idea was to have a little Easter sign, so I've saved the sixth for Easter and the sixth because it will be in next week's video. I'm inspired to use it in a different way, so watch next week's video. when it comes out you'll see additional inspiration for these beauties so for this one today I thought they would make really cute little gifts and we're going to apply some ribbon as a little hanger and then some adhesive vinyl as well. Not only am I super excited that they are super affordable, but also that they will finally be out of my craft room because they have been taking up quite a bit of space, as you can see, and I had another one.

Plus, I'm excited that they can be given as gifts. Okay, let's go ahead and bring in our adhesive vinyl. I decided on a really pretty gray and as always I'll link to the source information I used to create this, so I just wrote. Happy Easter and I like to combine a nice solid font with a script font. I think it looks great and matches very well, so I'll link these two sources below. I think they look very cute together, okay? I thought this The gray was really cute and soft and I'm going to bring a cute pink ribbon for when we put it up as a little hanger so I hope they turn out because I think in my head they'll be super super cute.

Alright, I'm going to get all the little media, sorry for the background warm-up, it was spring, it felt very, very springy. We had a couple of days where we were in short sleeves and at one point it got to almost 80 degrees and now we are. quite the opposite and we're really cold again, so it's a bit of a bummer because we have

tree

s in bloom and signs of spring everywhere and now it's really cold, okay, we've got this done and I'll go ahead and do the rest. three so we can apply them so yeah the hoodies are back on and the heaters are back on and we're just trying to stay warm hopefully spring comes soon enough so what I'm going to do is just put this happy little Easter on each of these bunnies I thought it would be really cute and then we'll apply the tape and I'll do my best to use the same piece of transfer tape for all of these, but I'll say that when I'm working with wood or a painted surface, I find that my transfer tape becomes very transparent very quickly, so I can use it a few times, but I will say that it doesn't last as long as if I were working with glass or something.
It's not as porous, especially if you have good paint. I actually don't want to say it especially if you have paint because I think bare wood also leaves a little dusty film on the transfer tape, but we'll see. How long can we get off this transfer tape? Okay, so I'm going to go ahead and grab my design. Here we go. I'll make this little one first and I think it looks so cute, the size is so good, let me make sure. That's straight, though keep pushing it and I think that's okay, so I'm going to polish that and then very slowly remove the transfer tape, okay, so there's number one.
I'll go ahead and make one more for you and then I'll go ahead and finish the rest myself so with my scraper I'm just going to polish the top and then I like to flip it over and also repeat that step on the back, it really helps to reinforce that pressure so that the next step of peeling off the liner is much smoother, there we go and we'll get the next one, okay, there we go, so yeah, originally I wanted to do it. I bought six and again only five here because we're going to go ahead and create. with the sixth next week, but originally I thought it would be really cute to paint them the way I did, but then have a different color for each letter that spells Easter and you could do a variety of things, I guess you could hang them.
It's like a Garland style. I think it would be very pretty although heavy. I guess they're not too heavy, but they would get a little heavy. I was also going to put them on a wooden sign, but again just the weight. I wasn't too sure about it, but in the end I'm really thinking that this is the best option because not only does it finally give me some inspiration, but it will also help me give them to other people, which I love. do it overseas so use that transfer tape five times that's amazing and then I have this liner that I used where or I had this liner when I took it off my transfer tape so I'm going to put it back there and then I'll see how many more times I can squeeze some life out of that, okay, so here we go now, let's bring in the tape and I've got this.
I think this is from Yes, so this is celebrated as from Michael. I have this ribbon and I thought it would be really cute to attach a little end to each little ear and make a little loop, wouldn't that be cute? I think it'll be a lot of fun, so I'll go ahead and do it. that allows me to decide the length and let's pray that I have enough tape because is there anything worse than finally getting to your craft table and then not being able to finish a craft for me? That gets so frustrating, so frustrating, because you know, sometimes I feel like I don't have that much time to craft, so when I finally sit down I want to do it right.
I think we all feel that way, so for reference, I measured them at seven and a half point seven and a half. inches, so go ahead and cut the remaining two. In fact, I'm working on a project for next week's video and I ran out of iron quickly. I had to quickly place a small order for Michael and I'll pick it up hopefully. today is okay, so I'm going to bring my little basic tool and let's organize our little system here, so what I'm going to do is I'm going to turn this around, sorry, I'm going to have to spend some time on the label on the back.
Okay, so I'm thinking something like this would be really cute to hang on a little doorknob. I think it would be really nice, so I'm taking that into account about how much space to allow. Okay, so it's a bit. a little bit over half an inch and I'm just going to staple it and make sure that yeah, it worked, it worked great, okay and then I'll do the same thing for this side and staple it, whoa. outside of Staples I was wondering about that too oh no, it's not user error, wait, I can do that again, here we go, okay, perfect, I think it's very cute, I like the way it looks, okay, Let me finish the last four.
Everything will be made abroad. I think they turned out really cute and will no longer be sitting patiently waiting for inspiration in my craft room, so I'm excited that it's complete and I hope I've inspired you with a fun, affordable little gift you could give this Easter, it's okay, let's move on. I'm going to save them. I'm going to spend some time watching my favorite show and then I'm going to get all those little bits out of the back and let's move on to our next craft for the next craft I found these really cute little bags at Dollar Tree and I bought three of them and I thought it would be fun Create some small Easter egg hunt tote bags for this year's egg hunt. hunt so what I did was I linked the SVG that I use these two are identical but different colors and then I have more of a boy one for this one so I'll link them below and then what I did was I added their little monogram for the little Background now I did a video actually recently about a lot of Cricut blanks that I found or general craft supplies that I found at Dollar Tree that I think are definitely worth it and these were one of the items that I was talking about now I will say they are a little thin, but keep in mind it's a

dollar

and a quarter.
I mean, it's Dollar Tree, so I think they work well for things like making a small gift bag or things like Easter egg hunts. like that, but I think they're really great for certain things, so the size is perfect. What I'm going to do is go to my heat press. I'm going to preheat the tote bag. to make sure it's nice and wrinkle-free but also to make sure all the moisture comes out of the garment and then what I'm going to do is roll it up and lay out my design and then press to get all three done and this is going to be another craft. made inspired by Dollar Tree that finds foreign things too cute and I love the softness of this little cream bag, it's so Eastery and fun.
I love this so I like to go ahead and put my entire bag or shirt, whatever I'm doing, on a really cool surface and let the heat dry and then once it's completely cool I move on and I remove the lining and it's very easy, but they turned out very cute and I think. These are perfect for an Easter egg hunt so check out the Dollar Tree because if you find them they are definitely worth the purchase so I also really like getting inspired by decorations that don't have words so here I go . What I have to do with this little craft is that I found this little one that looks like a little piece of burlap and it's really cute and they had it in a couple of colors.
I don't remember exactly what, but these are so pretty now. I will say that I applied a coat of chalk paint, not because of the color which was white when I bought it, but it just had a brand name on it, so sometimes you just have to, you know, give it a little bit of whimsy, sometimes they put a bit. There are marks on them just from being on the shelves, but you just have to look at things and see their potential, which is why I always have chalk paint on hand because it only takes a few moments and then it's brand new.
Well, I found this too. at Dollar Tree they are also cute bunnies. I thought they were really adorable. They're little wooden bunnies with a little pompom on their butts and what I'm going to do is I think I like to work in odd numbers. so I'm going to do three and I'm going to do them in this little bottom right corner here and I think this is a fun little piece of decor for Easter and again inspiring with things that don't have words. sometimes it's good to skip all the words, oh, I like it, I really like it, turn it down a little bit, that works for my eye, so I'll start with the one that's on the right track and then once I put it in, I'll be able to align the others correctly, so I'll just use hot glue.
I love hot glue, but use the adhesive of your choice, so I'll put this one right there. come on, this is so cute and simple, it's so simple and when you put these two things together again I found a little package of bunnies and then this little sign. I think this actually looks very cute. I think it's super fun. The second one here, make sure it lines up at the bottom and then this is where you'll decide how much space you want between them so we can replicate that space with the third one. This definitely looks like something I would pick up at Target.
It's so cute, I love it and I love the natural wood of the bunnies combined with the little overlapping faux white sign. I think it's really easy on the eye and it looks really cool, and I think that really lined up really well, so I'm going to do that. Press that down and within minutes it would have taken even longer if it weren't for me. You know, explaining the process, but in a matter of minutes you have a really cute little decor piece that's super simple. Now let me tell you, oh. there are 12. I was going to say how many we have so you can create four of these little signs, how cute, so if you like this idea make sure you choose four signs because you will have enough bunnies to make this in multiples. so I love this idea, it's super cute, I could actually do that.
I might go back and get a couple more signs because I have a lot of extras now, let me also know what you would do with these cute little bunnies with the The little cotton tails are so sweet and I actually think they look really cute on the front of a card that would be so much fun, okay let's move on and move on to our next craft, but I'm totally thrilled with how it turned out. I also found these cute cloth gift bags, they come in a pack of four,They're so cute and then they're shaped so that the top of the bag has little ears on them, so let's take them out.
They also include the little string that goes along. and here's our little bag it's not that fun so I thought it would be really fun to give these could be fun gifts for teachers these could be fun for neighbor gifts but I'm going to move on what I did was of course link the information from the source below but I went and oops I wrote some names down here and I thought we could make a little gift and just fill them with some Easter Candy and this would be a really fun little gift so I'm going to go ahead and start weeding and I'm going to do it very slowly because it's a nice delicate font so I'm going to take my time and make sure that I'm not accidentally breaking it or mentioning anything that should stay down okay, and these would also make very nice gifts for colleagues work and, if you have children, you know that there are always people to give gifts to, especially if you have children in extracurricular activities. activities and they have coaches or, you know, music teachers, things like that, it's a wonderful little way to give something nice for Easter or any holiday, so I love the idea of these little bags, they're so cute, they're springy too, like that what I thought they were just adorable and as always when you use irons don't forget to mirror your image that way they cut in the right direction okay last of the little middle pieces and then I'll be ready to go. my favorite font.
I use it for everything. I rarely find a font that works all the time and this font for me just does every word you spell or name. It looks very pretty, so make sure you have all the little scraps. of your coating because anything that's here at this point, once the heat is applied, will transfer, so you want to make sure all the little bits are removed. Okay, I'm going to cut them like this and then I'll do the exact same process, how nice, there will be four of them, let's see what we did before. Oh, the tote bags, so I'm going to reheat my stuff and make sure there's no moisture.
Flatten wrinkles. They're actually pretty perfect. right out of the bag and then what I'm going to do is I'm going to press them and then I'm going to place them on a cold surface just to make sure that it draws out the heat. I want to make sure it's nice and cool before I take it off. the eyeliner, so let's go ahead and do this now, let's see if the dot in the eye and the dot after the little period after Miss actually survives. I'm not sure they're tiny, but either way, this will be super cute.
Okay, now I'm going to let them cool for a moment, but I wanted to mention that the reason I was conscious about placing them a little lower is because once you tie them up, if you have them too high up. the name is going to get squashed and twisted and you probably won't be able to read it, so make sure you put them in now. I'm not going to fill them up and tie them in front of you because I don't have the candy yet, but these are going to be super cute, so let me go ahead and now that they're cool I'll take them down.
Well, so far we have the dot in the eye and the little dot, oh. and that spot on the eye is very small and they peel off very well, now they were a little. I have to mention this in the preprint. I thought they smelled a little. They just had a fragrance. I don't know if it's the material or something so I noticed they had a little bit of a fabric smell to them, I don't know, if that makes sense I'm not sure but I just leave it. You know, that always reminds me to tell you that you just need to monitor the project in front of you.
Go ahead and make sure you're always checking it to make sure you're not pushing too hard or if you need a little. a little extra heat, but I think they turned out super cute and I'll set them aside until I get the candy and then they'll be fun little Easter goody bags found at Dollar Tree. Well, I found this beautiful and long one. sign at Dollar Tree and I love these for the inside of my front door just because it's a nice long space to decorate and I think it works perfectly. I love the cut-out bunny.
I thought it was so cute that you could take it a step further. more and apply some paint if you want to add some color. I actually really like this really neutral and soft wood color, so it's great for my style and my decor, so I'm going to leave this as is, but I went ahead and found a really fun SVG. I'll link it below in case you want some inspiration to recreate this and let me start removing everything, so I removed a couple of things from this design. I think there was a carrot that I removed and you can always, you know, just outline any part of the image that you want to remove for your project, so you'll see some little extra things in the link that I'm going to put below super super cute, I just didn't.
I did, I really want the carrot in mine, okay, so this is going to say that the Easter Bunny broth here is not that pretty and the bottom is quite delicate, so I'm going to take my time and make sure that All those little pieces stay down, okay, that looks great, now that I have it ready, I'm going to rotate this a little bit and we're going to finish off all those little metal pieces with the last two pieces, there we go. I love using this. vinyl due to blue backing. It's just a genius move and it's such a simple move for a vinyl company to do this.
I love it because it makes weeding so much easier when there's a contrast like this and then here's a really fun little fountain. and of course I don't know the font information because this is a premade SVG, but I love how it has little interior pieces just to make it super fun. Now we have our cute little design and I think it's really cute because I love the bunny cut out at the top so I think it's a very appropriate and very appropriate little sign. I actually bought my new craft mat for making cards, but I will tell you that I also love it for making vinyl because it's magnetic, so I can grab my little magnets and place my vinyl face down.
I do this because I don't like leaving things on my cutting mat. Many people say that Bethany leaves your final exam on your cutting and weeding mat and then applies the transfer tape on the mat because then it lays flat and sticks. I avoid doing this on purpose because I think the more you use the mat that way, the more oil from your fingers will be left on the mat or dust. from the air those are things that will reduce the longevity of your mat so you can absolutely do that but those are just things that I think about so I just use my Cricut cutting mats just to cut and then once term.
I cover them with them and keep them that way. Honestly, I don't buy cutting mats a lot because I'm really conscious about keeping them super clean, so I'll go ahead and just take them. about an inch of that transfer tape lay this down nice and then by doing that you create a little lip this is easier than having a whole sheet of adhesive because it makes it a little more manageable so now I'm just. just having to lay down line by line, wow, I totally missed it, I miss it, I'll find it a lot, oh my gosh, but if you do this, look, I'll show you a little trick that I don't even know how I could have done.
I did it so wrong, so I'm going to fix this here. I'm just going to take a little bit of this extra transfer tape and overlap it and do that that way everything will be connected so no problem and when you make yours make yours a little bit straighter so now I'm going to press this down just like that and flip it all the way over now that it's actually stuck on my mat here and we'll do this right on the back as well. As we did before, this really helps. I think it's okay, I'm going to put up my sign.
In fact, I'm going to do it this way because I think it will be a lot easier for me, so let me see if I can. put it on the camera, well I won't, I won't get the bunny, but that's okay because I'm not going to apply vinyl there anyway, okay, so let's remove the liner and there's our perfect design, okay, now straighten this out , I can center it. Bring this down a little bit, enter this as best as I can and it actually looks, I'm trying to bring it down just a hair and about just a hair, okay, I think it looks good, so I'm going to Place that, the lines The twists on the grid take my eyes off, but I think everything will be straight in the end, okay, let me rotate it this way because now that I have it lined up and positioned I can rotate it at work a little easier. then take off the transfer tape, how cute, let's try to save this that way too, I can reuse it.
I want this to break, here we go, how cute is that Easter Bunny, stop here. It's a little difficult to fit everything into the frame, but I think that's how it is. cute, I love it, it's so fun and so simple. Okay, I found this really cute mug at Dollar Tree and I loved the color. It reminded me of spring and Easter time. It's so pretty, so I'm going to put a little design on it. actually I think so, I glued my design inside so I don't lose it and before I do anything I'm going to apply some isopropyl alcohol to the surface of my mug and that will remove the fingerprints and oils. dust that can accumulate sitting in your craft room or on the shelf at the store, but it sets everything up so you can receive that finish nicely.
Well, I'll put this aside and bring up my design now. I've used this design before because I love it. Let's see what I did. I made a tote bag for church. Was it my last video? I'll link that video. It was fun. Oh, I did a craft tour in that video. That's what it was, it was super fun. I shared a spring craft haul and things I found to bring into my spring craft room and then we made them a little bit so I'm going to delete this, take my time. The bottom part is tiny, okay, here we go.
I love this SVG. I love it so much. I want to put this on everything. I want to make a t-shirt. I want to do all the things. This would also be very cute on a navy blue baseball cap. so I'll probably have to keep reusing this and one of the most beautiful things about svg files is that you can put them on anything, so if you want to make a mug, t-shirt, cap, tote bag, anything you want, It's really fun because you can keep recreating it and having fun with it, so I find it really inspiring.
I'm going to trim this down a little bit and we're going to take our transfer tape and I'm going to bring my transfer tape from that first craft where we made all those bunnies because I think I'll still have some stick left for this so I love this mug now we have that remembering what Easter is about, without Jesus, I wouldn't do it. It's going to be Easter and I'm a big team Jesus okay let's scrape that up real good and now the final thing is not food safe so when you leave your design you want to leave enough room so the person can take a sip of their drink without it his lips come out. in contact with the vinyl, so just give a little bit of space and almost that will be perfect, so let me take my design off my transfer tape again.
I like to turn mine over and remove the covering from the spine which works. better and then I'll just line this up how I'd like it's not that pretty I love it let's make sure that there we go okay I like to start in the middle let's press it and then press it there we go and then I'll just reinforce that pressure with a scraper . Now, if you're giving this to someone, you're going to want to remind them that they're going to want to avoid the microwave and avoid the dishwasher, so this is going to be something that you would do.
I just want to hand wash it and not let it soak in water, those are things that will help the mug last a little longer and the vinyl, more specifically on the mug, last longer removing the transfer tape and there we go, how fun is. such a beautiful design, it was very well done. I love it. OK. I'll probably use this design a million more times on some crafts because it's too good and the message is too good. Good. You know, I love this frame. I have been a follower of my channel for a long time.
I found these frames at Dollar Tree, you just have to ignore the little sentiment inside because it has the potential to be amazing for every season of the year and I think I'm showing that I think I've used them. this for almost every season of the year because I collected a lot of these so they're amazing what you're going to do is you're just going to flip them over you're going to lift up these little spikes and then you have your little inside piece. you're going to measure that five by five and then I just have a piece of 80 pound cardstock here.
I'm going to trim it to straighten it out a little bit. Okay, I'll trim it to five inches by five. inches keeping my cutouts, use them to make cards and then Nestle should flip it over perfectly and then you will have a new blank slate to create with this is one of my favorite Dollar Tree finds. I think that crisp white frame with the wooden beads are just perfect. I think it's really nice to craft with them, so now that I have my paper there and that littlebackup, I'm going to put those tips back in and then it's going to look like a new slate and it's going to be like this. fun to do, okay, let's leave a few things aside.
I'm going to bring this mat because I cut out a cute little design once again attaching it to the bottom and there's a cute little bunny with some little flowers on it, so fun, but some of the pieces, all the pieces that you see came off my mat, which is wonderful because then I was able to just clean my mat, but some of them are still stuck in there, so I like to bring this little foam mat and just my little picker. tool here and I'm just going to take those little pieces out so that all that's left is an easy way to get them out like this, a couple more like this, okay, I'll link this cardstock below, it weighs 80 pounds, which I think is nice. good for this project, it's super cute, okay, I think we're good, so now I liked a baby pink, almost more of a petal pink with more of uh, and these are not the official terms or the official names of these colors , but something like a watermelon pink and then I thought it would be cute to have them on top of each other and then we could put it in this little frame.
I thought it would be really fun, so what am I going to do? I think I'm going to try making some foam tape. I think it would be cute, although it's going to be a little difficult because they're small pieces, so I might as well save the time and glue them together because that's just the same. So cute, I think for the sake of order and time, you could absolutely use foam tape. I actually have a little very thin foam ribbon from Waffle Flower Crafts and I'll link it below, you'll probably need to trim it well, no.
These little strips at the end would be nice, but I think I'll save myself the time and maybe the stress and not do that. I'm going to use liquid glue instead, but I know you can add some extra dimension to the By doing this, what I'm going to do is add some foam tape to the back of my final Bunny and then we'll have a little Dimension there, but I think it will look just as cute just glued on top, so I'm going to make that call for mine, but if you want to add the foam tape for this, just enjoy it in front of Gilmore Girls, do something fun, and then do that task well funny, okay, so I think that's good, that's what I always do.
Do I always say things that are a little tedious? Put Gilmore Girls on it, it's simply the best program and makes crafting techniques so much fun, especially when you have a more time-consuming project. I always call my cards really long Gilmore Girl cards because that's something I'll want to enjoy with Gilmore Girls, okay, now I'm going to take my tweezers, this will be easier, don't put it in there, let's go easier on your fingers to align, it's like this and the liquid glue will give you just a little bit of Wiggle time, oh my gosh, I'm going to have to make a card with this file that's so cute.
I'm going to have to make a card with this file so watch out it will be super fun and This was made on my Cricut so for those of you who wanted me to make a card with my Cricut machine it will be a lot of fun to make. I really prefer, although I don't prefer to make cards on the Cricut, I think it takes a lot of time, just because you have to do all the designing and cutting, and even though it does, I agree that it saves a little money because the stamps and dies can be quite expensive, well, here we go.
I think it looks so cute. Now I'm going to take these foam squares and place them on top of this bunny and I'll be careful to cut some out so you know that little ear too, especially on the ends. of places because we don't want it to bend, so we're going to do this and then what we're going to do is let me find my these are my nonstick or nonstick tool um, these are my what are they called? nonstick, there we go, nonstick scissors, but there we go, we'll do just that and save those little halves for the top and bottom.
Well, now here's my little weeding tool back in action. It is a very good way to get the Remove the liners from the foam tape. This was actually an idea that many of you gave me and thank you because it really makes it very easy. Well, I'm going to put the clamps back on now. You could cut out some adhesive vinyl and you could add, you know, a little text that says Happy Easter or whatever you want, but I wanted to give another example of some decoration you could make that doesn't have the right words, so I think you can see it well.
I'm going to press that down you know what I think gluing the paper to the paper was a really good decision because then when you add the dimension with the foam tape to the final piece you still get the dimension but you save yourself some time by not doing everything. that's tedious work, but you absolutely could and in fact I would love to see it because I think it would be nice now if you did this on a larger scale, like let's say you had an eight by eight frame or something even bigger than what your little bunny.
If it were bigger, you would have a lot more room to make the foam tape and it probably wouldn't be such a difficult task, but that was too intimidating and time-consuming, so I went this route and I think it's equally impressive. It's so cute and simple and again, it's wordless so I really like to inspire that way too. Well, I also found this really cute egg shaped sign and it's so fun because it gives us a big space to use. to decorate so I found this and picked it up instantly. Now I will say that I came home and put a few coats of chalk paint on it because it was kind of like white, but it was like a grayish white and a little bit of a white wash and I really wanted something really fresh so I put on a couple coats of chalk paint, so again check the description box because I'll link my favorite in there, but also anything you saw me use in this video.
The supplies that I use, things like that, they'll all be down there, so make sure you check them out if you want to take a closer look at anything I'm using. Well, I'll have my magnets on hand and let's see how to put my magnets on. tweezers away I'm going to start removing this now this is going to be oh, I can't wait. I saw this design and it was too pretty not to include in this year's Easter decor, although it is quite dainty so I just had a shout out here but I think I can fix it up a bit later so I'll have to take my time to go slow and it will be worth it because it's so good, I've finally finished it, isn't it that pretty? and I grab all my little pieces removed from the side, sometimes I like to just put them to the side and then just trim them like this, I only have a small area to do it in and then I can say goodbye. super easy okay I thought this was so soft so pretty and I really love how it looks so I'm going to get some transfer tape and we're going to attach all of this okay so that's the perfect size I'm going to do.
That same method where I just peel off about an inch of that transfer tape and then I just fold that little piece of lining on the back that just helps and let's see if we can clear this up this time. I don't think I've ever in all the Cricut crafts I've done have applied my transfer tape as crooked as I did before with that vertical sign which was really adorable, okay here we go, so I've got a little bubble here that we'll remedy. like this and we'll bring our scraper to scrape the front and the back, okay, now, just as you are patient and careful with the delicate nature of this SVG when weeding, you should continue to be equally patient on this part when you're peeling it, okay, just make sure all those little pieces don't break and take your time, here we go.
I think you have to push them down a little bit, encourage them to stay well, now let's take this more to the middle, I think. That looks good, so I'm going to let it sit, yeah, I think that looks good, press that down and we'll just reinforce that pressure with the scraper one more time, okay, now I'll also say the original paint and the original origin. the shop was pretty cool and I hope that makes sense because what I'm trying to say is that the wood was not smooth, it was very uneven, you could see the fake wood grain there, so applying a couple coats of paint of chalk really helped smooth that out, which I really like, it looks a little better, okay, plus it makes it really easy to apply the vinyl, so just another tip, if you know you want to do this, maybe choose a little chalk paint. just to help remedy that, okay come on, happy Easter, now I think it's a little simple and I think there's a little bit of white space too, right, but I think it needs something here, so what I thought they had a ribbon at Dollar Tree, however, I have a ribbon in my craft stash that I thought was perfect for this, so I'm going to bring this in and we'll make a fun little bow for the top, though I want to inspire you. with what I found at Dollar Tree they have so much ribbon there was a really pretty turquoise type of ribbon that is really pretty and I originally picked it up for this project but in the end when I saw this in my stash this is just a little bit more from me for this project, plus this is so neutral and nice and I think incorporating a little bit of pattern will be really nice now that this is a little more summery, but I couldn't leave this at Dollar Tree, could I? honeycomb is so much fun so I'm going to put this aside for some summer crafts because I thought it was super fun but there are ribbon options at Dollar Tree almost always, at least mine always has really pretty ribbon options and you can pick some up there, okay, so what I want to do is decide the size of my bow and I'll do it in front of you that way you can have an idea of how to do this now, there are many ways to make bows in many ways, I'm sure there are a million tutorials out there too, but I do this because this is the way I naturally like, we will always do the way that makes sense to us or gives us the results we want, but go ahead and do this part however you want. , so my final measurement was 16 inches.
Wow, I'm going to get some precise measurements today, so what I'm going to do is do it twice. 16 inches twice and then I'll do another one. I'm going to be generous to give me enough and I'm going to do five inches, so 16 inches 16 inches 5 inches now you're going to keep it a little bit warm. glue on hand, so let's bring it in and clean up my craft space here a little bit, that way we'll have enough space, so now what I'm going to do is set this aside for a little bit, I'm going to grab my pieces longer and I'm going to fold them.
You don't have to be precise about where to fold, you're just going to put a little bit of hot glue right on the edge of the first one. and then bring the other end and glue it on, they have those little silicone finger protectors at Dollar Tree now, I actually have some, but you know how I feel, years of crafting has helped me a little bit or maybe. I made my thumbs a little durable with hot glue, although we all get a Zinger from time to time and it's not fun, so always be careful with hot glue and use some finger protectors if necessary, but I'll repeat .
That step is like this and you're just going to glue those pieces together, okay, now it dries very quickly, so this makes a very, very quick project. Now you have two small loops. Okay, now what I'm going to do is I'm going to place them on top of each other and let's do this. I'm going to move this around for a second. We'll bring them back in a moment. Now I'm going to make sure that the glue end is obviously. upside down we don't want to see that well and preferably more in the middle okay that way we're going to hide it we're going to hide it at the end so now what I'm going to do is I'm going to go put these one on top of the next I'm going let's take this piece I'm going to add a strip of glue let's see how I want to do this um I kind of want a substantial piece well I'll do it I'm going to add a strip of glue here and I'm just going to fold this over on itself a third of the way okay and then I'll do the same thing with this side and this will just help make the next step more manageable.
I used to not do this step, so it can be done without gluing this, but it makes you feel like you want to have five more hams, it makes it a little harder, but if you just have a nice flat piece like this and not having to fold while twisting and gluing for the next step is a little easier so I recommend this part. Now what I'm going to do is pinch my bow like this and you don't have to. To worry about what it looks like right now, you're just pinching it in the middle and what we're going to do is take this little piece, we're going to wrap it up and we're going to glue it together, so what?
What I'm going to do is I'm going to turn this over and hold it tight now this is our messy side, we've got our cuts here and I'm going to apply some glue and I think hot glue is a perfect option for this project. I have been making hot glue bows for a long time and in fact there was a time when I was really tired of the wood sign but I loved the bow and wanted to remove it from the sign, it took me longerthan I would like to admit. take that bow off so I'm just telling you there's a hot glue testimonial hot glue actually works great okay and then I'm going to fold it over her now that I have enough. of tail, so you really could have gotten away with doing this with about four inches, but I like to have a little bit more than I need so I don't do that.
I don't know, it just makes it easier. I'm going to cut that remaining piece without cutting my bow there, okay, now when you turn this over, you're going to have a fun little bow and there's a lot of ways you can style this, so this is where you start fluffing, it's okay, let's fluff it like this and we have a cute little bow so there are so many ways to style it you can fluff it and let the back pieces lay flat you can also take those pieces and kind of tip them down and this is where to have a wired tape is going to be very useful, so what I mean by wired tape is that they put a little wire right along the edges of the tape and it's kind of sewn onto this little piece of edge and it makes it shape the things are very easy, but what I like is that I like this look.
I think it's so cute, so again you can choose two different styles and if you just want to do one layer, you can do that too if you don't want the two layer, but I like something a little more dimensional. I think it's super cute and then we have a fun little bow for the top of our little Easter egg, so I think I'm going to place it so that it covers this. little opening here, I think it's going to look super good, plus I think visually it looks really good too, you could also lower it a little bit, it doesn't hurt at all, so I'm just going to apply hot glue again.
It really is longer lasting than you think, I promise. You can also change it if you want something a little different. I actually really like that look. I think it's really pretty so I always save it so I'm going to add my Hot Glue right in the middle and I'm going to place it right below because I like how it looks like that and now what you can also do is if you want to shape this and make things stay. add just a DOT of hot glue to your wood so when it is you know how to shape it and place it so this is not going to move once you glue it it's going to be there so I'm just going to add a DOT there that way once that I have it visually the way I like it and I want to see it, it stays nice and then you can continue fluffing and I really love how it looks, it's so fun, okay, there's another Dollar Tree inspired Easter craft that's so cute and I think.
I have one more, so let's finish this video with one more little idea for Easter this year and then we'll be done with our final craft tonight. I found these really cute little name tags, if you want, let's see if they have a special name, I don't know, I just think they're, oh, they're called a ceramic plate, but I love them for parties and stuff like that, so on the part On the back it shows that you can use a marker or pen to paint. personalize your plate but you have a Cricut that will use vinyl so I'm going to go ahead and use my isopropyl alcohol and just spray the surface also of course you can use a pen too but you know I think some of the fonts are so much prettier than my own handwriting I just love it and you know what you can do is you can absolutely remove the vinyl once you're done even if you have permanent vinyl permanent vinyl you know it's really not permanent and I use I remove it all the time and I delete it all the time so you can delete it completely after you're done with your little party.
Well, what I thought would be fun is that if you're having Easter brunch, you have little name tags. all your little items that you're putting out for brunch, so I have a nice gray vinyl. I thought it was nice and soft. I think it goes well with this kind of off-white cream color and what I'm going to do is Again, the source information will be linked below, but I'm going to delete my little names here and try not to get too hungry because this all sounds delicious right now, okay? A little dot in my eye wants to appear so I'm I'm just going to push that down with my weeding tool and hopefully keep it there we're going okay so we've got quiche ham muffins of course you'll write whatever that you're serving correctly, but I thought it was a really fun idea and again once your When the holidays are over, you can remove the vinyl and then you could do this again for Christmas.
You could make this again for Thanksgiving. Things like that, so I'll say some of them are imperfect, just like anything in life is going to be imperfect. A deep scratch on this, so I thought, "Oh, I'll just turn it over." I mean, what are the odds? I'll write on both sides, so it's okay, you know, it doesn't have to be perfect, but if you want, you know. Just look and make sure you don't have too many imperfections on yours, especially if it's going to interfere with your final placement, all the little mediums and then I'll take vinyl transfer tape and we'll put them on.
I think this is very good. I'm going to reuse that transfer tape. We've done it all the time. I'm going to reuse the one we've been making on the bunnies and the mug. Let's finish here and this is it. where I'm going to end up with this transfer tape, I'm going to throw it away after this, so what I'm going to do is I'm going to apply it over all three of them and then I'm going to cut them off next, so I'm going to press down, it makes it easier when you can do all the steps together, I think, and when you've reused the transfer tape, God, are we on our seventh run when you feel less guilty about cutting it out and throwing it away when you're done, let me grab my scissors and I'll go.
Be careful not to cut my vinyl now so that all your names are exactly the same size. Now I don't know what size it is. I measure visually in the design. space, what that means is that I grab the little top right corner with the cursor and drag it up and down. I don't actually write a number, a font size number, but what I do is I write all my words together in a text box, then what I do is I size the largest word, so muffins was my largest word. long, so what I did was I made sure that the muffins fit here and since I was sizing them all together at once, then everything is going to be the same font size and that, you know, is not required, but it is something that is look good, then let's focus.
I think I lost a little spot in my eye on these muffins, which is fine, but I'm realizing that's how it was. Don't do it right, there's muffins and then the last two and quiche and since the third one was a little scratchy, I'm going to save My smallest word for that, that way you know the vinyl doesn't necessarily come into contact with it too much. and it will still sit on all the flat areas, it really is a minor imperfection, but there are things to think about, okay, and then it might actually come into contact just a little, but in the end they are just name tags for brunch, okay? so there we go that's our final little idea not that fun I really love it and again I'll link the source information below because again one of my favorites okay another super fun craft night and I'm excited if I could. to inspire you with so many things from Dollar Tree for the Easter season, I really loved these beautiful gifts and again the sixth one you will see in next week's video because I was inspired even more, isn't it funny that I had them for so long in my job? room, you know, one year to be exact, I felt completely bored and this year I got inspired in a couple of different ways, so sometimes you just have to sit on the craft supplies and that's okay too.
I love this Easter sign, it's so cute. Easter Bunny, stop. It's very simple here and I think it turned out really cool. I love the little name tags. I also love this little mug. I love it. I will use it all year and I think I will add it to many things. The bags turned out very cute and were very easy to make. Also, given the size of the little names you're going to put on them, be sure to save all those little pieces of scrap that you can glue on in your little scrap bin. Cut out the larger pieces because this is a Buster piece, this was one of my favorites tonight for sure and it was one of the simplest.
I'm definitely going to go back and get three additional little plates because I really want to. Do this three more times and use the remaining bunnies, although I think one of those bunnies on a little card would be cute too. Be sure to tell me what you would do with them and maybe I'll be inspired to run in another one. direction too I think my favorite tonight was this simple paper bunny. I love how it looks and I think it's so fun, so simple and I think the wooden bead combined with the beautiful pink and soft white background.
I think everything really works together visually and I can't wait to decorate with this for Easter time. I love these bags, they are so fun. I love how they turned out. They are so cute and I think they are going to be really, really cute. perfect to get our little Easter eggs this year so perfect and the perfect size and finally this little egg sign was so simple to make. I love it, we added a fun little bow just to help fill in a little bit of that blank space and I really think that helped you, let me know which one was your favorite below.
I really enjoyed creating these crafts for you and hope to inspire you along the way. Make sure you approve this, and as always, check out the description box below so you can learn about all the things I made in case you want to take a closer look at any of that stuff. I can't wait to see next week's video. We'll continue crafting for Easter time and then next week I'm going to be doing spring crafts in general so a lot of fun things will show up in my craft room it's an absolute disaster because well that's what happens when you're super inspired, but there will be a lot of fun things on my craft table. and I can't wait to show them to everyone.
I'll see you in the next video.
