iPhone XS Vs iPhone XR In 2022! (Comparison) (Review)

Welcome back everyone, the iPhone Tennis and the iPhone 10r were iPhones that came out in 2018 and it was actually kind of interesting because I wasn't a fan of the 10r, but I wasn't actually a fan of the 10 when they first came out. But I will tell you that I liked the 10r and these two phones have very interesting prices. The iPhone 10 can be purchased for around $200 and something on the used market. The iPhone X still costs around 300 something. It's actually a pretty good value for the iPhone 10s in my opinion, so let's go ahead and see how both phones stack up in

If you want to pick up either of those phones, I'll leave links in the description, you can get them from there and also for the channel at the same time now side by side the 10r is still the biggest phone here i have a 6.1 inch ips panel on the front of this phone and overall i still think it looks pretty decent. It has thicker bezels on this device than the others, the notch on the top, which remains the same on all these other devices, but this is an ips panel, it is not an oled panel, many people including me prefer something like an oled panel, but this ips panel is still okay, it's starting. to show its age a little, especially in lower light levels, but I think it's fine for the most part on the iPhone x.

On the other hand, you get a 5.8-inch OLED panel, so it's definitely a much better panel than something like the iPhone. 10r, to be honest, is much better, it is quite a bit heavier. I don't think it's much better maybe per se, but it's a very attractive panel and I think even it's an aftermarket panel, even this one looks better than this one. Definitely when it comes to big thumbs up for tennis this panel still looks pretty good, the 10r might look better but it was a budget phone in 2018 so it's understandable in terms of thinness and thickness both are a little thick. phones, I think 10 or maybe actually I don't know.

I used to think the 10 was thicker, but they both give me the same impression. I was amused that the stainless steel band on the iPhone 10s felt really premium. on the back we have glass backs on both but I have a case on my iPhone 10s because this one was really cracked and with something like the iPhone 10r glass back again no frosted glass backs on either of these but yes You had a dual camera setup on the iPhone 10s which was really cool, the iPhone 10 on the other hand had a single wide angle lens so keep that in mind too, realistically they are both almost the same but you know 10 art was a bigger phone overall, as you can see, in terms of that, that covers it on the outside now, in terms of software longevity, this is probably the most boring part behind these phones, they're going to last realistically.

At the exact same time they came out at exactly the same time as the iPhone 10 or it has a gigabyte less RAM than the iPhone 10s, but I don't think that's going to change the longevity of the software. Realistically, both phones will last the exact same amount of time. So, three years from now, whenever these iPhones stop receiving support, when the iPhone 10 stops receiving support, the iPhone 10r will know that it will no longer receive support and vice versa, so when it comes to that definitely more boring aspect, These phones are still going to be supported for quite a few years so I can't wait for that either, so now let's do a speed

Both are running iOS 15.4.1 right now, the iPhone 10s has that Apple A12 vinyl chip inside. It has four gigabytes of RAM where the iPhone 10 has that 12-band chip inside with three gigabytes of RAM, so let's go see which is the fastest between the two, okay, here we go, all the apps are deleted. in the background except this one, so let's get into it. I expected the iPhone 10 to probably be faster in some cases and then sometimes the 10s, but I didn't expect the tennis. get faster every time, that was very, very interesting, in terms of speed, definitely for the iPhone 10s, now it is quickly affected by the cameras on the back, the iPhone X had a dual camera setup, 12 megapixels wide and then 12 megapixels. Telephoto where the iPhone 10 had a single 12 megapixel 4k 60 wide angle lens on the back 1080p at 60 on the front of both, now the iPhone x camera, to be honest, when it first came out, I felt very, very strange.

I didn't like that camera lens, you know, but Apple ended up bringing that ultrawide sensor to the next generation, so that was really cool. I think something with the 10r sits in a decent spot, none of these phones have ultrawide sensors and that's one. To be honest, of my favorite lenses, I love having all three, but I still think the 10r is good, you have video mode, you still have portrait mode and all that, 4k 60, but compared to the phones that we have today with cinematic mode. and even 8k, both phones are starting to show their ages to be honest, with the iPhone 10s as I mentioned before it could be worse.

You know, I like having that telephoto lens to zoom in really close and having the portrait mode like the iPhone X is really good too. I think this camera is still pretty good for the times. You know, I compared it to the iPhone 13 and 12 and even the iPhone 11 and this camera was a very good camera at that time. Was she perfect? No, we didn't have 4k60 on the front and that's probably the most mediocre feature of both. There's no 4k, there's no 4k60 on the front and there are no ultra-wide sensors, kind of annoying, but you know it is what it is and how to finish this video and to be completely honest I would probably say the iPhone 10s, if you have the money , the tennis is probably the best phone here.

I think this phone has more capacity and more quality, for sure. I think the iPhone 10 can There would be better value per dollar if you can get it at a substantially cheaper price than an iPhone 10s, then I would say go for it, but I think with the iPhone 10r it still has plenty of capacity and won't go to Nowhere. Any time soon and this is still several years later, one of my favorite iPhones to talk about because it's substantially cheaper than many of the newer iPhones, but it doesn't feel like a super dated iPhone with the iPhone 10s, this is probably one Of those devices, if it weren't for the strange battery life at the beginning, this iPhone would probably still be one of the iPhones I would recommend to more people.

I think the 10r has better battery life overall, but the iPhone Tennis is still a really interesting device.
