This first trick

make

s melting these candles really stinky. easy I do it, I put them in the oven, I set my oven to 300 degrees, I put them on this pizza pan and in five minutes they will be nice and melty, there is no need to use the double broiler method unless you want to see it like that. There is nothing easier than that. I'm going to start with this white candle. I'm going to remove the wick because we are going to reuse it. Why wouldn't we? At the bottom of these wicks is this metal tab. I'm going to put some hot glue in there and place it on the bottom of what will soon be my candle and this will keep the wick from floating when I pour the wax.

I'm going to start with the white wax because I'm going to show you how easily you can layer a candle with different colors. Now when you melt the wax, you'll notice that it was half a jar, compared to when we put the wax in the oven. a full jar because in these candles the wax is whipped once I have the white. I'm going to grab these wooden ornaments from Dollar Tree and only fill my wax one third of the way placing the wooden ornament right along the glass. and just sliding it down will keep the ornament pressed against the glass and add a really pretty ornament once my target solidifies.

I'm going to take the red one and I'm ready to go ahead and pour it right there. on top so yeah this is a cool trick that I've done with layering before in the past, now with this one I knew that by putting the white candle wax on top of the red one it was going to change the color of my wax which is nice , it will turn pink, how fun and cute that is, but I feel like you have to finish it off with some twine on top because why not? or some fun ribbon, a decorative ribbon.

I'm also going to add another wooden snowflake and one of my yarn bows. Now here's another life-changing candle. Making sinks, they are one thing. If you don't pour it right, you don't pour it at the right temperature. With an easy-to-fix sink, grab a heating tool or your hair dryer. This is a heating tool that I purchased several years ago. You can find it at Joann's for about ten

dollar

s. You are going to heat only the top part of your candle. We won't do it. Putting our candle back in the oven and melting it hoping that those sinks will go away because they're not coming back, so just grab your heating tool or your hair dryer and melt the first layer of wax until the sink fills you.
We'll end up with an almost perfect looking candle on top, no matter if there's a crack, no matter what kind of sink, you can see I've made this pink one and the red one are full. inside and when they cool Yes, they will be perfect and Tada look at that, a perfect candle, that easy, without worrying about the temperature of the wax, without worrying about the temperature it cools to, if it cools too fast or too slow . I will have a perfect candle. Another trick to decorate candles is to use these sprinkles. You can find them at Michael's.
They cost a dollar each when they go on sale. You can get them for about 60 cents. They have them for every season and for a holiday. dollar sixty cents is unbeatable, now these would be used only for a decorative candle. I would say to avoid starting a fire. I don't normally burn many of my candles. I like to use them as decoration. I use my Scentsy. It heats up my wax warmer to give it scent, so once I've melted the top of the candle, I'm going to go ahead and just sprinkle the sprinkles on top of the wax, there wet wax, then I'll run the sprinkles back over with my Heater. tool to really ensure that the wax melts and I guess those sparks are actually in the wax and you can see how beautiful it looks good and when you combine it with a layered candle it looks amazing.
Next, we have a window. clings Dollar Tree has a pretty amazing selection and these leaves are falling Autumn is calling the window clings it was calling my name I was looking for an excuse to use this and look it beautifies and decorates this candle perfectly how fun it is it doesn't take much It's done, but I wanted to add a couple of these acorns and maybe some twine, you know me. I stay true to my nature. The nice thing about using a candle like this with your window clings is that when the season is over, if you want. to take out the window cleaning and add maybe a Christmas one, you can also do that and use the same candle and I would say maybe just put the window clings in a Ziploc bag if you want to save them for each of the seasons so you can swap them out . them and this one yes, right where the stem of the pumpkin is, it should be finished off with one of my yarn bows because why not look at how fun it is easy?
Christmas is coming up so why not grab some puffy paint because puffy paint is so much fun! works with Dollar Tree. You can now find this puffy paint at Walmart. They have bottles of different colors and sizes this time of year. I use a lot of puffy paint and that's why I like to stick with the bigger bottles because I use it. So much so that this white candle is the perfect snowman, we're just going to paint a puffy face on an easy face, easy snowman face, pretty basic, but if you use a little bit of white and add some highlights in the eyes, maybe maybe a couple of stripes on the nose.
I guess I'll add realism to the face and that in turn adds character and personality to the top. I didn't show it, but I did add some black twine because snowmen usually have black cats, yeah right, and all the

tree

s have this black one. and a red checkered ribbon that will be perfect for Frosty's scarf and we can't forget the buttons. In this trick I'll show you how to color white candles using Crayola crayons, maybe Dollar Tree doesn't have the color you need. I grab a box of crayons. I think the Crayola ones are the best.
They melt better. The color is the most pigmented. Go ahead and simply remove that paper. Separate the crayon and drop it directly into the candle holder. That candle goes back into the oven. Look here, now you have the orange candle wax you needed for this next DIY, maybe you want to add some scent to the candle. Dollar Tree has these fragrance oils in several different scents that are very fragrant. I have added them to my scents a lot. In the past, if you had some essential oils, add an essential oil. Today I add cinnamon. I don't have pumpkin spice otherwise I would and probably add 15-20 drops because I like my candle to melt. oh I said melted spoiler alert yeah I like them to be very fragrant once I have that oil in there I'm going to go ahead and give this a good shake and I'm going to go ahead and pour my wax into this.
Dollar Tree Silicone Mold Now I was so excited when I found this mold because one was $25 and the second was pumpkins and I thought it would be a really cute way to make wax melts. I'm going to put this in the refrigerator. for about 15 minutes to speed up the solidification process here once it's nice and solid I was super excited to start taking these pumpkins out of the silicone mold until I started taking them out and the leaves were breaking I tell you I tried everything and the The leaves kept appearing. I think I was only able to get this candle here with one leaf, but from all the others, the leaves fell off.
Do you look at that? Oh how frustrating but it still melts cute and these aren't made for making wax but it's fun I think it's a mold to use if you want to use it for soap or like I did the wax melts and we can just smooth it out the top. If we really wanted to, anyway, it's the idea and the trick that I bring. for you a leaf mold would probably be very easy and would come out easier than these and I think I've seen it at Dollar Tree so use the leaf bolt unless you don't mind the leaves breaking off yeah your pumpkin . easy to hack molds to make a colored scented black smell now all we have to do is turn on our wax warmer and my house will smell like cinnamon and smell amazing for this next DIY you will pick up some tissue paper This looks like fun and Festive for Christmas, whatever color candle you choose.
I chose white. I'm going to give the outside of this jar, yeah, a good coat of Mod Podge because we're going to do some decoupage with the tissue. paper now, this is my idea, it's not, but the fun thing about this is if you take some tissue paper, maybe even a decorative napkin or some fabric, and combine it with one of Dollar's amazing embellishments Tree, this is one I just bought the other day, yeah. Dollar Tree is now starting to offer Christmas decorations. Christmas decoration, which is awesome, but you're going to pair that ornament with twine on the top of this piece because it wouldn't be one of my DIYs without it, so we're just going to hot glue this ornament tag to the front of this candle , so that it goes from being just a candle to a fun Christmas candle.
Decorative piece that is so rustic and fun. Who is the KB Creations Artisan of the Day?
