welcome to wolves dan bentley s first interview
It has always been my dream and my ambition to play in the Premier League and I have played. I have played my exchange in League Two and training in League One. The Championship, obviously, over the last six or seven years, sort of dominating a lot of games and I've always been desperate to get a chance in the Premier League, so when I found out about the opportunity here, it was a chance. . that I wanted to jump and especially a club like the wolves where you know everything is designed to bring out the best in people and I think I feel like I can thrive well here during that time that you've been masked. over 400 efl appearances, a wealth of experience, as you said, is that your main goal now is to hopefully translate that experience to the Premier League and the top flight, absolutely yes, obviously, as you say, I will bring experience, um I feel like I've been around the block a few times with my experience, but I mean, I'm only 29 years old, so you know I have a lot of time left in the game, obviously, if you know if everything allows me to get to where I want. . to get to um but yeah I think in terms of obviously what I bring to the table I was captain of Bristol City so obviously leadership and those qualities of experience are something that's quite natural for me so you know if I can come here and help with that. ways and you know that would be great, those leadership qualities that you had as a Captain, something that you take pride in and something that you want to bring here as well, absolutely yes, I mean, you know I have experience in this. level, you know, it's obvious that I'm not going to play in the Premier League yet, but you know it's up to me to come in and have the right to be here.

More Interesting Facts About,

welcome to wolves dan bentley s first interview...

I don't think I've suddenly figured it out and finished my career by just moving to a Premier League club, you know, the hard work now starts again, so I think yeah, bringing those qualities, not having played in the Premier League, then it doesn't matter, in my opinion, I have still accumulated everything. those games and I am sure that I will be able to transmit my experience and my knowledge to the younger guys and obviously I will coincide with the older guys as well and create a culture in the football club that I am sure is already here, but if I can add to that and help positivity and make it even better then it would be great for everyone.

You've outplayed it twice before, I think, and I can't forget some of your new teammates too. I remember those games and those previous visits to more than you I remember one of the times you got hit um yeah, I don't have any fun memories in that sense um we came here and it was very, very busy, I remember it and I think I believe in the match. I particularly remember we lost three close to War 3-1 when I was playing for Brentford and I had a very busy first half in particular, but the atmosphere was fantastic.

I remember, um, going down, you know, down the bottom end of the front. from all the home fans it was an experience so yeah luckily obviously this time I hope they encourage me instead of berating me like they did on that occasion yeah well so I hope you feel like being a part of it. of that atmosphere now absolutely yes, to help us create the best possible atmosphere. You have signed a two and a half year contract here with the Wolves. What are your ambitions at this club? I want to play Premier League football. Obviously Fully aware that there is a José here at the moment and he is a fantastic goalkeeper.
He has certainly proven his worth in the Premier League. Obviously, I know he got all the individual accolades last year and you know I saw him as a keen football follower and a studious footballer. I know I watched most of his and the rest of the team's performances and he was absolutely fantastic last year, so obviously I come here as competition for him and obviously I would do everything I can to push him forward and that's what I'll do. I'm sure we'll get the best out of him and me, that's healthy competition, so I come here hoping you know I can boost the plumbers trade in the Premier League and obviously playing for this big club is Something I think I would do.
Enjoy, thank you very much Dan, we'll let you get back to your busy day here. Yes, good luck. Thank you so much.
