There are many, there are many moments to go through. Yeah, honestly, agdq 2012, the first race I did with Tiki, your grandpa, remember? 9x you know it was a very satisfying experience being there on my first gdq and it's like I never knew something like this could exist and then you know I'm running like my favorite game of all time with one like my best friends and it's which was a really fun experience and throughout that run we were so close frame by frame before Tiki made an unfortunate mistake on the menu but yeah that's definitely a recommendation I make if you want to find a good classic gdq run go to watch Mega Man Caleb Hart back then, suddenly you meet this confident Beast who's here looking after this, right, right, do you have an original inspiration for speedrunning?

Just what got you into it tiki Tiki was the guy who was a young guy When I was 13, I did the right thing, basically, what ended up happening, like when I started running fast, was that I was huge in a fight melee like a group of my friends played and all that, it's funny because, you see, how you run fast in melee like Tech. skill and all that, you know, it's like lab work and grinding and all that stuff that They like it, they are very similar in that sense, of course, and I saw Tiki's first Mega Man X 100, I thought, see you later, melee.

I'm going to play a quick Mega Man It was like that. it's what it was meant to do, you could see the technology inside a speaker, the next games are absolutely like that, absolutely, yeah, I have a couple of questions here from Twitter again, if you have any questions, be sure to tweet. to us using the hashtag sgq

2016

. Why did you decide you wanted to do 100 in Mega Man X3 100 for Mega Man X3? Not only is it a longer category, but it is incredibly technical, like all Neons, and there are many others. incredibly difficult strategies, for example, like the elevator jump I did, yeah, I messed up a little bit, but it's like it's a lot more challenging, right? and you put on like the golden armor is just.
I think it's a better watch, it's more satisfying. experience again, you really feel like you played everything. I like it. I think you said. I remember in your chat years ago. I asked you. I think there are like 70 neons that you make or something like that. Over there, yes, yes, they all have a perfect frame. tricks, so if you like to miss one, you miss one, it's like, well, a few seconds go by, yeah, it's huge, man, but yeah, it's one of my favorite categories for any MMX game, yeah, it's definitely very satisfactory, very satisfactory, of a drink, is here what things Do you work on for the most part during practice?
We will keep it at X300 and how do you maintain a positive mindset? As far as practice goes, it will be like a Mega Man game, there is a lot of movement involved, so every time I do what I do. Do I like to practice a lot? It's like the general movement, as you know, like working on a particular section. It's kind of like, oh, I improved my time by 10 frames or something. Sure it's like minimizing the board entries and just being like. consistent and clean and overall has a really really good movement and my positivity comes with like, hey, I can incorporate this into running, come on man, you know, little by little, you're seeing that improvement, moving it down, they'll come , man. you have to put in the effort, you really have to be a fan of that level of optimization to want to move because it's incredibly specific being so good that it's been around for about five and a half years, so I have some experience, you know what I mean?
I want to talk to you a little about Mighty number nine. uh you got the game a day early to show it on the stream. What is your opinion? What I mean, obviously, there were some mixed opinions. Well, Monday number nine, um, okay. I like this, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, wild man, but uh, it was like a really fun casual game, but there really wasn't as much to offer as I would have liked, however, you know, we have a pretty decent route. the speedrun in a few days and that was cool because like the general move of Mighty number nine, it was built largely for speedrunners because you have infinite Dash and you have Fast Falls and stuff like that and it's really really cool, like a cool guy of trading weapons and technology and everything, and there are some decent recent glitches and stuff, but okay, okay dude, I like how brutally honest Kayla is being with us, right?, it's very easy to be like no, it's great.
I love it, I mean you know I can't, I can't sit here until I lie and think I would, it's the best game ever, but let's be honest, but it looks like a cool speed game, so it's a really cool game. of speed, it could be cool to see in the future, yeah, and the last thing I want to say is to remind you that coming up, November 11-13, Caleb Hart and I, Spider Cheetah, will be at Smash. The record is a great event that combines speedrunning and smash. It will be held in Kissimmee, Florida, and you guys should go to smashtherecord.com and submit your own races.
If you can be there, it'll be a lot of fun with that Caleb Hart 42, always a It's a pleasure my friend, it's great to have you, man, yeah, I was going to say I don't want to, I'm not going to get the stuff and we'll send it back, bam, the core, no, we'll send them back for Mega. Man ZX Advent should be a pretty good run, stay tuned for that, okay thanks Spike and Caleb for that great interview, we're finishing up some preparations here for Mega Man ZX Advent, yes we have a 30 donation from Luke. from the tari that says that my wife and I couldn't agree whether to save or kill, but we all know that Killa is the right choice, okay, so this goes to Mario, the year and a half was like that, come on, yeah, and soon. explosions the demo stage was not not touched the demo save the one from the boss style Commando is yes, we have an anonymous donation of 1000 that says, let's reach these incentive goals thank you very much for that very generous donation that I made it was incredible some mistakes, but I think that I recovered pretty well, it was just fun, yes, yes, I know we have a donation of 20 from Happy, who says I'm almost done with my PhD and he would reward me with a Wii U and a Super Mario Maker.
I'd love to. to see that overseas bonus level once again, these are Summer Games Done Quick 2016 sponsored by Twitch Summer Games Done Quick is created to help Doctors Without Borders Doctors Without Borders supports people who otherwise cannot access healthcare by employing specialized medical and logistical support or by running longer-term projects designed to address Heist Health crises at any time, some thirty thousand doctors, nurses, midwives, water and sanitation experts and many others representing dozens of nationalities can
