That will come and a big change for this new draw. I think you're going to like it a lot, but let's go on a date. Super Duty Sam, you sob like a stallion, my first cold start on a fall day, yeah, what a guy, you don't have one though. headlights you still look great I'll give it to you, you know, okay, everything's going well, at this point I'm a little worried, so it's not like we're relying on the headlights to do all this. complete package, rather we know this will be an added bonus, plus we have some custom fog lights; that was something last minute, yes, yes, yes, and that has to be that beautiful, but it also has to get very dirty.
Sam, it's good to be back, you get your goodies back here, it's not a great dress, the voice is fine today. I don't feel like my trips to the bathroom are as frequent now, maybe because my body is finally getting used to it. Bluetooth in this thing's sound system. It's incredibly awesome, but I still don't know how to use it, that's radio entertainment, here we go. Bluetooth stereo, no, no, there is no Bluetooth stereo. I love the dash on this thing, these Ford guys. I know I've been saying it, but I'm really like um, I'm just saying, oh mom, look at me now, hey guys, let's bring her over.
There's still a bit of a mess on the floor from a long time ago, Larry's, you can see, but cleaning it up at headquarters, we also have a new banner. coming out for DDG number five, it will be the same size, except it will say something. In reality, you are wasting money. I have to give it away. Money well wasted. Spend money easily. All your favorites. It has to be based on all the feedback we receive. Yes, we have money blowing banners, but they are limited and we have new key tags, some in desert camouflage, others in a combination of mint green and black.
Just wait. I like them. I like these. They're going to like them. too damn Super Duty Sam, you're a big girl, so boys and girls, today we're playing with some amp research steps. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, you heard right, our first set of amplifier research power steps that will be featured on this channel and being put on a truck that we had for the first time on the channel, which is the forte, yes, my Mac previous never received research steps but it seemed strange to me that was for a reason but Super Duty Sam is an exception and he is get these beauties right here I can't wait to install it we have to open them all and review them for a long time and never I wanted to follow in grandpa's royal footsteps, they just work great for that truck and I was always super happy with them, that truck was perfect the way I wanted it, but always always always one of the 70 steps and finally I was granted the opportunity.
They are so beautiful, more beautiful than I could have honestly imagined. I'm very, very excited about these. It's been a long time goal for me to get a set of these steps and I never knew what truck they would be for, but today they are here and they are going to follow this beauty here behind me now, as you know. or as you can see, we have the factory steps forward here that we're going to have to remove. It will be a perfect opportunity for me to use a new tool that I have that unfortunately is not sponsored by Milwaukee yet, please. help me I'm dying here buying all your tools but funding all your employees 401k yes we just picked up this little 3/8 inch impact fuel it's basically a little brother to the half inch gun I use all the time and I'm really excited about this, my Milwaukee tool drawer is growing and so is my tool collection, and I bought myself a nice set of impacts that are a standard metric and have a swing socket so we can access those places hard to reach. getting places will really be fun putting all this into practice I don't want to talk anymore, let's start the process boys and girls, because we have a decent amount of work ahead of us, let's move these things. so I'm not hitting my head how nice that is that's okay so they all look good look at the mirror finish on Super Duty Sammy it's good it's good I would like this with those freshly polished wheels the truck looks great without the Go up and the good thing about this is that we will have steps but you won't be able to see them.
I'm excited because some pre-assembly is required. I've been reviewing some of the instructions for assembling the motors. to the engine linkage assembly and then we have the engine linkage assemblies, those are the engine linkage assemblies, these are the engine linkage assemblies, I have to do a little assembly here, so let's get to work on that right now and then I'm going to go ahead, go up the steps and mount the power, hook everything up with obd2, hook up the LED lights that will be on both sides for illumination at night and then we're almost done, five guys I We finished the entire assembly. the motors on the pivot arms we need to run the wiring harness as you can see we have it routed across the engine compartment we have a long side here that goes to the driver's side this is your modular control that maps around the engine bay and it comes out the passenger side in this wiring harness.
You can see that there are little open ends that are for the lights. We have to run this a little bit along each side of the truck so we can run. power accordingly, we also live up to its name, powers, now let's do it now so everything is nice and clean, we're actually going to go ahead and run this wire under the plastic trim that goes across the hood and I'll pull the zip ties here a little later, that way everything will be nice and secure, it's not going anywhere, okay guys, so now we have everything segregated, we have all the hardware and fasteners for the left side and the right side.
I just did that backwards, that's super weird, I don't even know why because I was looking right and pointing left so I was looking right and saying left and Rennie, you guys understand what I'm saying, all the hardware there, all the hardware there. Now that we have this little bracket that is for the e-brake cable, we actually need to put it in real quick before we can go ahead and start installing these things right here, so I'm going to go ahead and do it real quick. I show you the finished product once it's all wrapped up start on the driver's side of the truck so there's the bracket I was originally talking about the e-brake cable mounted here we had to extend the bracket up so we can leaving room for the steps to fit in here are nice and neat, or else it would really hit when it appears or traps, you can see the free space is what we were looking for now, we have all this hardware we have to deal with.
We have these little sand or thread clips that we have to put in, so I'm going to put them on and then you're going to put these pins in place so that way you can take your arms and slide them up. in its place under the truck, so let's do it right now. Now that we have all the fasteners and hardware in place, we can start assembling the rest of our trailing arms, which is great, we're making progress here. guys wow we got a bunch of extra wine harness the motor goes up front so we got our two triple chin actions facing forward just cut the shit out of me don't give me tetanus so we got everything ready to rock and wheel on this side, I'm going to go ahead and tear down the other side real quick and then we're going to pick it up again and start running some cables before we put the board on because I want to be able to get in here a little bit before that, things on the The way we're approaching, the guys are making great progress so far.
I would say the installation is probably a 3 out of 10 on the difficulty scale. It's going very well, we'll just do a little. precautionary measure knock on wood, the next step in the chain of progress here is that we have our wiring harness connected to the engine that will actually raise and lower them, it is not an obd2 yet so it will not connect and speaking of obd2, actually we have to run these cables right here through the truck somehow, shape them and form them into the cab so we can connect obd2 so I'll try to figure that out and give you an update once we're done because then we have to connect the obd2 connector to the end of these cables and then we will be ready to have full power and we will be able to test whether this works or not before we connect the step, so that's great.
In fact, I don't think we're going to do that, so I want to make sure they stay down. I don't know how to make these things work. They really are first world problems. Totally fine, so literally just a few seconds and two decorative pieces later, we found our Avenue. On the way there there's a grommet right here that we were going to make a little hole in so that it can hold most of its seal and we were going to run these purple wires up and through that it's almost like they're kind of designed for that because if you look at the distance between where it hooks onto the motor and here, it actually goes right to the grommet location right there, so it makes sense, so now we hook them up, they provided these weird little ones like butts. connector stuff I'm not really a big fan of that so I ended up going the traditional route, putting some wire loom over this just to clean it up where we installed everything and then once we got itwe clean everything.
We'll be able to tap this right away, plug in obd2 and that's where our power is secured so all the connections are ready. I don't want to do that now, although if I close the door and I think the arms will go away. above, that one will stay at the bottom and that would make assembling our boards a little complicated. Now last but not least we have our step panel lighting LEDs, two on each side, they come with 3m adhesive on the back and the idea is that you want to center them between each door, so I want let one shine there and the other shine right there, so if we go down here, take a look at where it is, we'd say it's going to be like generally in that area, I'll take measurements to square this all up, but basically they'll want to set it up right there and then we'll have to play a little little hole over here so the wire can go through to the other side and then connect here to the back of the harness, so I'm going to go ahead and add those in now, I'll get to work on that, we've got everything. wiring, we have everything mounted, we have all the wiring hidden, we have the entire passenger side fixed and we are literally at the final step.
I set up my SATs so successfully, I'm sorry. We're at the final percentage in the process where we basically just have to secure the Rhein boards, that's it guys, so I don't really know how this works. It looks like they have these sliders here that have to be moved into position, I think. They are adjustable because you can cut these boards if needed for a single cab application or an extended cab application. Luckily we have the double cabin so you don't have to worry about that so yeah basically we have to drink. Our four little safety pins screw them in, attach them to the actual brackets and we're done, so let's get back to it.
I received very good news with the girls they were with. Check this out. What do you think is beautiful? Look there you go, OMG guys it feels amazing to finally say I have a set of ant power steps on one of my vehicles. Five years of diesel ownership is long overdue, three years of YouTube to be exact while I'm on four. youtube years february 2020 one of the most essential features is the headlights, it still looks so good there are so many things that catch your eye, it's not like the missing headlights factor really plays a part, the wheels, the tires , the color match. just the beauty of the front of the six seven everything is beautiful sorry I'm getting completely distracted right now that's how you work guys open the door get out close the door wait a minute and fold up I thought they weren't I'll do it no I'm just kidding we're fine we're fine I tried everything we're good if you look down here you can see the LED is lit The LED is lit so it'll be cool to see these things at night but unfortunately in this vlog that won't be the case because well I don't want to To state the obvious but we don't have headlights so these things are great, they work just like that when I first plugged them in, they didn't actually work until I opened the door, closed the door and then opened the door again and it must be something with the obd2 that detected it.
You can see that I ran on a wire loom, so I haven't left everything all wrapped up and neat, but that will happen very soon, so that will come apart from that, we are completely done. Sorry, I digressed from the squirrel moment here, so you had to do that with the driver's side door and the passenger's side door. I haven't tried the rear doors yet, but here we are. go well guys you succeeded, and the last and final check check here's the rear passenger door oh man I love it when things work this easy guys I'm still behind that four out of ten difficulty scale , if they want it.
I'm a bit mechanically inclined and know how to crimp wires together, anyone can do it, they really were very good amplifiers. I have to give you guys a lot of credit, you built a very good product and although they may be a little pricey, I would do it. Let's just say they are worth it and really a good feature to add to any of your vehicles to make them feel that much better now. Another thing to keep in mind is that if you want to keep them down for any reason, you can simply apply pressure. the engine will start and then they will stop, so if you want to wash the top of the truck, for example, you can jump up here and you can do exactly that and to get them to restart, you will see them close it a little bit. and they're reset and ready to rock and roll, so there's some kind of sensor there that can detect a few pounds of force that would then let them down, so FYI, but it's cool, we've got it all wrapped up under the motor.
Bahia, we have the loom, everything worked, everything is zip tied, everything is secure, the module that controls everything is right above the battery on the passenger side and we are completely ready to rock on that front, we have a few more modifications that will be working. We are expecting this truck in just a matter of when they will arrive so patience, patience, patience and we are having a lot of fun with this. I love this truck. I can't wait to drive it more. I'm lucky that so far. Here in Mexico we've been good, but I'm actually really excited to bring it home and be able to take my wife to dinner and take it out for coffee and generally maybe even put the gooseneck on it and tow it with it.
The thing could be that I love this truck so much guys, it's funny that everyone I've been telling you I love Fords is like, oh man, it's like John Deere vehicles, you pay like 10 grand extra to get one and I get it , but I feel like I can see myself in one. I'm not trying to upset my fellow GMs like I said. I am an enthusiast in general. They just call me Dirty Match Jack and that's what I had when I started my YouTube channel. Anyway guys, this scent to finish this video, I have to get this thing back, I have to pick up the minimax, I have to get home and I'm going to surprise dinner.
I'm going to surprise dinner with my wife tonight. Nice Jack, good, good. Gomi, that being said, it's legal for you guys to do your

best
