Four Seasons Bora Bora Review

Iorana! And welcome to this

review

of the Four Seasons Bora Bora! Our trip began when we arrived at the small airport in Bora Bora. Someone was already waiting for us at the terminal, helped us with our suitcases and took us by boat to the hotel. Bora Bora airport is built on a sand islet, so the only way in and out is by boat. When we approached the hotel, we were greeted by employees and musicians and then given coconut water when we checked in. The complex is quite extensive. We had a complete tour upon arrival to learn about the different activities and restaurants on the beaches.

This is the largest restaurant where brunch is held. Sunscreen was provided at the towel and activity station. Here is the main beach. There was always seating available and each chair had an umbrella. A little busier than the beach, the pool was large and offered incredible views, plus access to a bar. There were smaller beaches along different lagoons which we explored while snorkelling and paddle boarding. The chapel had such wonderful views of Mount Otemanu at sunset that it became my computer wallpaper. Going a little further back from the gym we could see the open ocean but there was no access to the beach.

More Interesting Facts About,

We stayed in an overwater bungalow overlooking the beach. We had coffee and bottled water in the room, but filtered water was also available throughout the resort. The minibar was free for first use, meaning they didn't refill it. We brought our own alcohol and probably saved hundreds of dollars that way, since a cocktail could cost around $25. The hotel left us a welcome bottle of sparkling wine with pastries. It was very windy in the room on the first day and at times it felt like a horror movie. Even if we had a beach view, the outdoor area was great and felt very private.

We could barely see other people out there. As I mentioned, it was very windy and the current was pretty strong the first day, so I didn't want to get in the water. The hotel even recommended bringing a life jacket. I finally took a dip. The water was about 6 feet deep and the current wasn't as strong as I thought...at least at that time. Back in the room, the view from the bed in the morning was simply amazing. Speaking of the bed, there were even USB ports on the nightstand and, obviously, Wi-Fi throughout the resort. The hotel used bracelets as keys to open the door to our room, this way we knew we could take them anywhere and not worry about losing them.

Other complimentary items included a shaving kit, flip flops, a nail kit, a sewing kit, a comb and a branded tote bag so you can show off visiting this place. The Do Not Disturb signs were two fish kissing. The view at all the restaurants was amazing. The resort suggests booking in advance, so we timed all of our reservations for sunset. This is the Asian cuisine restaurant. It was really delicious, that meal cost about 15,000 francs, that is, about 136 US dollars. Buffet breakfast was included in our reservation. The food selection was quite extensive and everything I tried was delicious except the coffee, but maybe I'm just being picky.
Here is another restaurant we tried for dinner. I had the seared red tuna. My spouse had grilled chicken. Main dishes were around $50 each. Food was also served on the beach. This pizza cost $37. The water activities were the best thing to do and the equipment was provided free of charge. We booked a free snorkeling tour in the lagoon. It was an organized daily activity and no one else showed up, so we ended up doing a private tour of the lagoon with a marine biologist. The hotel is working with local organizations to grow the reef throughout the lagoon.
We were able to see thriving marine life. It was really interesting to learn about this. It was like swimming in an aquarium. Unfortunately our stay came to an end and we had to leave. The departure process was similar to the arrival process. We boarded a boat while a musician played local music. They gave us a goodbye lei and towels. [next time you come with the baby, thank you very much] They even waved goodbye to us for a few minutes as we were leaving. In summary   I really enjoyed my stay at this resort. It was extremely expensive because they know you're captive on an island, but I think it was worth it.
The views were beautiful, the water was perfect, and there were plenty of free water activities. I truly believe it is the best resort I have ever been to in my entire life. Don't forget to like and subscribe for more videos!
