table, so in this video I'm going to share 12 things that I found, of course you could find many more, but I thought I'd start with 12. and look how you enjoyed this and these are 12 things I really think are worth picking up the next time you go to Dollar Tree when gift giving is coming up.

I feel like Dollar Tree is a wonderful place to find fun little blank spaces that you can decorate. and gives as a gift, so let's go ahead and get started. Make sure to give it the thumbs up if you're ready to get started and let's get started with the first craft. Also as a reminder, everything will be linked in the description box below this video if I want to take a closer look at anything. Okay, there are so many ideas. In fact, I could probably make another video. All about Dollar Tree items because there are so many things to choose from, but let's start with this video and if we love it, then I'll do it. an encore so this is a very nice little piece of pottery and they came in a variety of shapes.

I think I picked out some hexagons too, but they were in the little craft section. I love a ceramic piece because I think it looks very elegant and tall. -end, but also because it's very easy to decorate with vinyl, so to start, what I'm going to do is just wipe the surface with a little bit of alcohol and I'm just going to grab my little bottle of spray alcohol. I'm just going to spray the surface to remove any oil or dust that might have been left on it, either from handling it myself or just from sitting on the shelf, in this case hanging on the shelf, so I went ahead and cut an SVG really nice.

If you have another project, you can find it quickly below, so I'm just using a black adhesive vinyl and I saw a nice SVG. I actually used this before I made a cutting board with this, it was so cute. In fact, it's still in my kitchen. I love it so much because this design is so cute, but this just says "bless this house." I thought it would be so cute in this little ceramic house.

I think that would be very sweet. Could you do a um, what happens when people buy something nice for the home? The words keep me going today. uh housewarming this would be a cute little housewarming gift something like that so make sure you check out that little section because these little ceramic pieces are so easy to decorate and they make. for a really fun little gift okay now that I have my design completely removed I'm just going to take some of my favorite transfer tape place it over the design and my surface is clean so now I can polish the front and then Personally, I think it's best to flip it over and polish the back that way so you can peel off this backing sheet quickly and easily.

Okay, sometimes it's easy, sometimes it's not, but we'll be patient, of course, and when you have smaller designs with something delicate, oh. I'm going back to polishing small, delicate pieces. Sometimes it may require a little patience, but we'll get it

, so I just push down the pieces that want to emerge, taking my time, but not too bad. Well, there it is. come on now I'm just going to center this on my little house here I think it's going to be really cute oh I love the size it looks so sweet okay centering it the best I can but there we go sorry for my heater in the background.

It's gotten really cold in our area, in fact the snow hats came out today, we don't have any snow, thank goodness at the time of recording this it's October, but oh my goodness it got cold quickly and we had a little bit of cold. temperatures, but excuse the heater, but it's cold, okay, take it off, but oh my god, it's so cute. I love the contrast of the black vinyl. I think it's so sweet and look at this, this came from Dollar Tree, but it looks so tall. it's over once you find that really cute design to put on the front so I love this great idea for a housewarming gift or just a gift in general but I love it you can always go one step further and replace this string if you did.

I don't want to use that, you could use a ribbon, but honestly, I think it's super cute. Dollar Tree has some really wonderful mugs and one of my favorites is this mug here and I'll tell you why, first of all, it's pretty and white, which makes it. It's so fun to decorate because you can do any type of colored vinyl in there and I love a nice simple white mug. Another reason is that it is not curved, it is very, very straight, which makes applying the vinyl very easy now if you bought a mug. that has a more curved surface, you can still put vinyl on it.

In fact, I'll link a video here with tips on how to apply vinyl to a curved surface, but I love this mug. I think it's pretty and I love it too. I know this is super simple, but I love this little shelf at the top. I just think something so simple looks really pretty and really elevated the design, so again I'm going to apply some isopropyl alcohol to the surface to achieve the same thing. Reasons why it just helps the vinyl stay on the mug properly if you have a really nice, clean surface. Also, I like to craft with lotion on my hands, especially on these colder weather days when it's so dry, but it helps remove any oils that may have been transferred from having lotion on, okay, I found a really cute design and I thought this would be a really cute mug that says pray and praise.

I thought it was very sweet, so I'm going to apply this to my mug. Now, some reminders about mugs: You want to make sure you only hand wash them, and you also want to make sure you avoid the microwave, so those are just two things to remind someone if you're giving them a decorated mug. with a vinyl and that will help them last longer, okay there we go, that looks great, another thing is that vinyl is not food safe so when you place your design on your mug you should give it a quantity generous amount of room for the person to sip, so you want to leave enough room for their lips to sip their drink without coming into contact with the vinyl, so just another reminder when you're sizing your design.

I'm going to reuse this transfer tape that I used in the previous project polish the front and back and place it

on the mug, so can you go? Another thing I love is this cup holder. It really makes applying vinyl to a curved or rolling object very easy because it's like your third hand, so I'll link that below as well. I love it, it's the same place I bought my little caddies, where they are always linked in the description box under my video. Another question I get is if I should put the design on the side. with the handle on the right or the side with the handle on the left that is absolutely a personal preference and in fact you can duplicate your design and put it on both sides to make it a personal preference again as a reminder just give it a couple of inches or not a couple of inches, but just a small area for one to drink from and I think it looks pretty good there, so I'm just going to leave it.

I like to rub in the center and then rub out to the sides and then I'll go back in. with my scraper and just reinforcing that pressure, they really get it to lay down really well. I really like that pink, it's so pretty and I think it looks really good on that mug, so pretty, oh my gosh, I love it. I think it's such a cute design. I love how it turned out, so Dollar Tree has a really fun drink. In fact, they have some really cute stemless wine glasses that are amazing too. I always pick up a few of those when I'm there because they make really fun gifts, so pick out some small mugs and wine glasses because they're so fun and easy to decorate and make the perfect gift.

Dollar Tree also has these really nice wooden pieces, they come in a shorter size but I also chose I also have them in a longer size and I have a huge collection of these because every time I see them I grab some because they are really gifts fun and are a really fun opportunity for home decor. I like to apply them now that they come. a bare wood like this, but I like to apply a couple coats of chalk paint to the surface. It's really a nice easy way to get a really nice blank board and then I like to apply some vinyl to them, so I found a nice cute design and I really loved the meaning of it and the overall idea.

I thought it would be really cute for a home decor piece, but this says look what we did. I just thought it was so pretty in something suitable to maybe just put in a family room and I also think it would be great to put it on a gallery wall and just to show you that you know the life that you've created, the life and the family that you've created . It's pretty cool, so I went ahead and printed or sorry, cut this out of some really nice gray vinyl. I really love a very soft gray. I also really like to paint the top or front of my wood white.

I like the dimension that offers, but you are absolutely out of line, could you paint both sides and also the ends? It's just the look I like, but go ahead and use your paint however you want. I'm going to go ahead and grab some transfer tape and we'll place this just right. It seems like I barely have enough. If you have a longer piece like this, I like to take my transfer tape and just remove about an inch of that backing on the back and then instead of pulling. all at once I like to just put some transfer tape on my vinyl and then make sure I've waited it all out but then you can just throw it away and leave the rest oh it looks like I have enough there okay that helps because Sometimes It can get really overwhelming if you have a larger or longer piece and you're trying to put on a lot of goo at once, this way you only have small pieces at a time to put on and it helps to have a more successful transfer, it's okay, let's go ahead and eliminate and how cute, in fact, I bought a lot of these because I thought you know, in my annual video I do an annual video about all the gifts I'm going to give for Christmas and I thought these would make really really cute gifts, plus It's very quick and easy, you can paint all your boards at once and then you know, do all the cutting and weeding and then go ahead and quickly apply all the vinyl at once and it's also very easy to personalize, you could make names of family members and things like that, okay, so I'll make sure to center this like this and I think it looks good to me, so I'll leave it, hopefully, I have it, yeah.

I did it right, boom, slight panic for just a second, okay, press that down and gently remove it. Oh, that looks so good. I love how it looks. You can also use your vinyl as a stencil and then you can paint if you want. I have a video on how to do that, I'll put it in the top right corner too if you want to stencil with your Cricut and then instead of applying vinyl you can paint these words or you know another design of your choice but I love how this turned out . I think it's very simple, but it's a very fun decor piece.

You can also make a really fun Christmas decoration with something like this. I love these little white spaces because I feel like the possibilities are endless. Dollar Tree photo frame section, there are these really cute frames. Now ignore the feeling that we are going to replace them and customize them in our own way, but they are very easy to use. They also come with a nice wood or faux wood frame, but I love it. the white ones, I think they're really really pretty and in the end I think they look very, very polished and pretty when they're finished, so all you're going to do is take off the back now if you've been following Me for a while, You know exactly where I'm going with this because I've made them so many times.

In fact, every time I'm at Dollar Tree I get more of these because they're one of the coolest things. In my opinion it has to do with my Cricut machine and they make really nice decor pieces. Well, I'm going to measure my surface area. It looks like I have five inches by five inches, so I'll bring a piece of cardstock. and I'm just going to do it and I'm going to use just a hair under five inches, but I'm going to cut five inches by five inches again, about a hair under and I'm going to use my cardstock to cover this feeling.

You can also use patterned paper or vinyl to cover this. I really like using cardstock because it's so quick and easy, but it depends on the look you're going for, so you'll just close these up. little bits and then when you turn it over you have a nice blank slate to work on sowhat I did was find an SVG that I thought was really cute and a home decor piece that I would really like to have and I cut it out. If you want you can cut it out on a black adhesive vinyl, you can also cut it out on each TV because you can apply HTV to the paper so if you have a color that is on HTV do that because I do it quite often when I have a color transfer vinyl of heat in place and you absolutely can put heat transfer vinyl on cardstock, so I'm just going to remove my little centers here and grab a different transfer tape.

I'm going to grab some paper transfer tape. and the reason is because I'm going to place my design on a paper surface that's more delicate than, for example, the wooden pieces we've been making earlier in this video, to have a little bit of a lighter grip. transfer tape I'm going I'm going to use a paper transfer tape because then it will be smoother on my piece of paper when I go to take the transfer tape and leave the design on my project. I don't really break paper on that. process, so I'll link this paper transfer tape below.

I've had the same vibe for so long. Is incredible. The transfer tape has a little less tack and I'll just place it over my design and cut it out. in just a moment, but I just tear it off the roll and it makes the job very easy to do, so now I'm going to flip it over like I would my previous transfer tape and buff the back before removing the vinyl. I'm going to crop that way. I have a nice little piece on this surface that will really help me line everything up. Okay, I'm just going to check that it's all polished and then I like to keep my vinyl side face down and then just peel it off, it's fine and it transfers like butter.

I love it and bring my frame. I loved this phrase. Give it to God and go to sleep because honestly, I really

need

to remember this quite often. I think I like the space there, so I'm going to go ahead and transfer it down. I'm going to lightly rub it with my fingers and then press down with my scraper. This is the part I was talking about, which makes it very important that you use a light grip transfer tape or this paper transfer tape, so if you were using a regular piece of transfer tape that has a grip a little tighter, this part would be a little difficult because you would want to tear the paper, but because it has very low adhesion. and it's a nice paper transfer tape, it comes off perfectly without disturbing the paper, how pretty it is, if you remember what it was initially, it was just a cute little piece of decoration that said happily ever after I think, but you can completely transform it into any stuff. that you want these to be really fun pieces to make during the holidays, you can change them if you notice that I just inserted a piece of paper, I didn't even tape it or anything, if you honestly want to reinsert a piece of paper with a different sentiment every month or holiday, you can do that, but they are a lot of fun.

I love the little wooden bead element and think it's definitely worth a trip to the

dollar

store. Well, it's a project that I love to do over and over again. and if you've been on my channel for a while you know exactly what I'm going to do with this, but I want to inspire you when you find these little wooden

blanks

to have these little wooden animal shapes in the craft section. I'm removing this little tab here and they're super pretty, you can get hearts and circles and all kinds of things, but I love using them with patterned paper, so I'm going to start this project right now, but we'll finish it a little bit later in the video because it takes a little bit of time to dry so let me take this off real quick and okay so what we're going to do is take some mod podge and a foam brush and the Mod Podge is going to be our adhesive so I'm going to take that and I'll always start in the center and then brush it out so you get it right, it's really hard right?

You don't want to do too much because you don't want the paper to get soggy, although the thicker you use the better, but you also want enough for the paper to adhere really well, so I always recommend going from the center out so that do not drip. on the side of your blank, that makes sense, so I'm just applying this adhesive, so to speak, and this is a lot of fun because you can take any type of patterned paper you want and you can really have fun transforming a piece like this, so I go ahead with the glue and that can almost be a little heavy, although I'm not too worried because I have a very thick cardstock that I'm using, so what I'm going to do is I'm going to move this to the side, I'm going to bring in my paper and I'm going to place it paper side down that way I can grab my little shape with the adhesive and then place it right on my paper loop, make sure it's lined up so everything fits. it's covered by paper and now I'm just going to press, press, press and then I'll turn it over and I like to take my brayer tool and I just like to run it across the surface like that.

I know the paper is actually very flat and uniform in the shape of my wood and I don't know if I don't think it's real wood. I still call it wood, it's probably like a little particle board type element, but anyway, this is a fun little way to decorate of course. You could always paint this or just apply vinyl, but here's just another inspiration for how to approach a piece like this. Okay, once I've done that, all I'm going to do is take my piece and I'm going to place it under something heavy and that's going to help get everything ready and then we're going to cut it out and decorate it.

Another thing I recently found at Dollar Tree was this really cute wooden sign. I really loved it. It came in natural wood but of course I applied a couple coats of my favorite chalk paint to the surface just to give it a nice fresh look. I also found these really cute little pieces of wood that came in a package. I had to review eight. and they also came in natural bare wood but I applied some pink chalk paint on the front and they are really nice to layer on so sometimes when you get a piece like this it's a little hard to get inspired by it because there are a limited number. areas where you can put vinyl properly, but I love using these pieces to overlap because they add a little visual interest behind and it's also a really easy way to decorate, so I thought I'd make a really fun little gift for the teacher, so I brought a little scrap vinyl from my bin to always buy your little scrap pieces, but I also love shopping at Dollar Tree for teacher gifts, especially if you have a lot of kids and a lot of teachers in your life to give things to, so It's always fun. shop Dollar Tree and then create something really cute with the things you find there, so I'm going to remove all the little pieces in between.

I'll have font information linked below such a fun little font, but I thought it would be fun to layer this little apple here and of course you could paint it red. I really love a pink apple. I think it's really fun to then add a little sentiment at the bottom. It would be very simple and easy. What I'm going to do is take my hot glue, I'm going to apply it all over the surface and where it sticks, where it doesn't stick, it will dry, but I'm going to center that. nice and there I really like it so I'm going to press that down which looks very very nice and then I'm going to take some transfer tape again and I'm going to reuse it from a previous project and I'm just going to trim this down to the size I

need

and we're going to polish it up . the front and the back, okay, remove that from here your sheet and then center the bust that I can right on this bottom piece and how quick and easy it was, I think this is very fun and very simple, okay, and again you can personalize it with the teacher's name. which would be even cuter.

I love it and just with a simple ribbon I found in my stash. I didn't find this tape at Dollar Tree, but you can certainly find tape at Dollar Tree, but I thought I'd cover this little hole with this. tape to not only cover the hole but also add a little dimension to this piece with a little more visual interest. I really like how it looks so simple, but it's just a fun little gift, especially with the holidays approaching. Above, these little boxes are definitely useful, they are very fun to give as gifts and I love how simple and simple they are because they give you the opportunity to decorate.

I found them in a square shape. I also found them in this nice circular. shape I don't know if they have any other additional shapes but I love them both so all I'm going to do is go ahead and use a tape measure to measure how big the top of the box is and then all I did was I found a piece of scrap vinyl I had lying around again. Save all your scraps because not only are they useful but they also make gifts even more affordable, but I just cut out a nice circle and I'm going to decorate it. the top of this box by placing some patterned adhesive vinyl on top.

I think it's super cute. Then on the side I also cut out a little sentiment and now I'm going to place it on the side. link the font information below, as always this is actually one of my favorite fonts that I've ever used, it's one of those fonts where no matter what you write everything always looks really beautiful and I love that , so it tends to be my So let me see all the little points in between, but I wrote it for you, I kept it really really simple and we're going to make a cute little gift box, as always, we're going to use transfer tape from a previous project and We'll polish the front and the back using my little Cradle cup to study my piece and I'll remove the liner from my design leaving the vinyl on the transfer tape and then I'll just bring this over to me just a little bit, one thing you want to do is make sure make sure the lid is nice and on the box properly because you want to know what kind of surface it has if you had the lid off you might not center it and then once the lid goes down your feeling could be covered so make sure you have the lid tight on the box where it needs to be before you put the vinyl on, okay, I'm just going to center that right where I think it looks best and just a simple For you, it's okay that Christmas is coming up too.

You could put individual names on each box. If you are making gifts for neighbors, you could put the neighbors last name on there, which would be so thoughtful and such a good idea. Wow, that one almost got ruined, but come on. nice and slow, actually, you know, I'm having really good luck with this transfer tape, but you might want to use that paper transfer tape since it's a little more of a paper box so far, this is working very well It doesn't really want to stick, but it will once it sets, but keep in mind that if you are using a stronger transfer tape like this, it might go slow.

Plus, I've reused it a couple of times in projects I'm doing today. So it may have lost its stickiness, but actually maybe you should use that little paper transfer tape just as a tip. A very, very simple little box. I love how it turned out and it's just another way to look at these little boxes when you see them at Dollar Tree, another fun piece that I love buying at Dollar Tree, they are these long wooden signs, they are very pretty and they have a little rope on the top . They come in bare wood, but as always I applied chalk paint to the surface just to give it a really fresh look.

These are called wooden hanging decorations and they are only in the craft section, so when you go to buy some, they are also a really fun way to decorate for the holidays. In fact, on my channel so far this season. I actually made at least one of these recently because I made one for Halloween, so I have three pieces of vinyl and I thought we'd make a really fun colorful piece. I found this SVG that I thought was really pretty and you can use it to make a traditional long porch sign like the really big ones for your front porch or if you have a smaller space like this little long piece of home decor you can use it for this too , so I'm going to delete everything. of the little centers, this has a little green element and then our little welcome so I would love to hear in the comments section below the video what some of the Dollar Tree must-haves are when it comes to crafts.

I also love hearing your ideas and I love going there from time to time because I love when they change the items for this season and I think it's a wonderful way to not only keep crafting costs down, but it's a wonderful way to just get inspired by your qriket machine, there are so many fun little things, especially when you're just starting out and getting a good handle on your sea legs with um decorating and cutting out. I loved using Dollar Tree four blanks just because If you make a mistake, it's no big deal, so definitely let meknow what your favorite things are to buy at Dollar Tree, so we have this little item that will go on the bottom and then we have this long piece that will say home.

I'm going to get started, but I'm also going to put a little magnet up there just to keep it nice and stable while I knit everything up okay there we go that looks nice and one last little element welcome to our and of course you can use any vinyl color you want. I honestly think these colors were in the example for the SVG and I thought they were really well done and luckily I had all these pieces of vinyl that I could use in coordinating colors so I thought this was really cute okay, let's go ahead and do this one by one, so we'll see how it goes, it says home here and let's put all of this in the frame and then it will say Welcome to our oh, that's it.

It's so pretty and will look so fresh with those nice contrasting colors on the white chalk paint. Okay, this isn't big enough, but I'm going to make it work. I like to start from the bottom up, so I'm going to go ahead and start with this little Greenery piece and I'm going to go back and forth. This is a removable vinyl. I often use removable vinyl on my signs. I know the particular sign will be an indoor sign and the removable vinyl is a removable vinyl which is absolutely fine. Of course, you should go with a permanent vinyl if it's going to be used outdoors or if you're going to put it on something like a mug or a glass that's going to get wet, okay?

Place this Center however you can down here and then we'll build this sign from there, okay, so, putting that in, let's take a scraper, there we go, oh God, let's just see it's easy, we can fix it with a little surgery in just a moment, okay? Why do you want your transfer tape to be the same size, but it will be fine? I also love Dollar Tree for the holidays because sometimes it's a little overwhelming how many gifts or people we sometimes seem to have to gift correctly, so things like teachers, neighbors, coworkers, and Bible study friends, so I just feel like it's a really wonderful way to be able to continue gifting and creating, but do it on a slightly more manageable level.

It can get a little expensive during the holidays. Well, I think that looks pretty cool. That's how it is. I'm going to go ahead and polish that up nice and smooth. Oh, this looks great and then I'm going to reuse this piece being careful not to scratch my paint, but I'm going to reuse it on my final element of this sign by putting it up. this final sentiment cuts off what we don't need sometimes that's helpful sometimes if you have too much it can make it a little overwhelming it's ok to polish the front and back given how affordable these little signs are, in my area it's a buck 25 but Wouldn't it be nice to buy 12 of these and, as a gift, make someone a sign for each month of the year?

I think it would be as nice as having a wintery one for January, something more Valentine's themed for February, etc. and so on, I think it would be a very sweet gesture and you could really have fun with it, so I'm going to turn around for this part and I'm going to focus visually and we'll leave it well, I think it looks nice Welcome to our house, it's very pretty and I really love the color combinations okay the final piece and there we have it so a long Dollar Tree sign. I love these for the inside of a front door because it's a nice long space to decorate, but very pretty. very pretty again, you could take this a step further and replace this rope with a ribbon if you want.

I actually really like this organic look that this rope offers and I think it matches well with this sign in the colors, so I'm going to leave it out, but you can always do that too since we're not going to decorate both. I wanted to show you that the next little blank space I found at Dollar Tree comes in a chalkboard version and a chalkboard version so I chose I've displayed both to show you and I think they're really cute so they also have a little hanger of rope and they are very fun. I cut out a really cute design in pink adhesive vinyl that I thought would make a really cute little piece. decoration for my little girl, so I'm going to remove this weed and we'll put it right on the sign.

The foreigner tested my patients several times. I'm sure he didn't want me to succeed, but I stuck with it and I've made it now. There are little pieces inside of these two vines at the top and bottom, however, I'm going to make the decision to leave them there because I think they're pretty as is and I think it may be too delicate, so I'm going to take my ribbon. transfer and I'll place it right over this design. I thought this design was so cute and precious it says you are loved by the girl, you are the woman you will become and the precious daughter you will always be I thought.

It was so cute and I really wanted to put it in a nice, clean white space like this. I really thought it was perfect. Oh, I need to add some isopropyl alcohol real quick before I forget and cut it out of the pretty pink vinyl. I thought it was going to be a really nice contrast, plus it would make it nice and sweet, okay, that's nice and clean and we'll just rinse with foam and repeat polishing the front and the back, oh I love it, my goodness, that was a stinky, but it was worth it so let me leave it and I think it's so cute and there we go.

I think it's a very simple decor piece and I think it's very meaningful and fun, so there's another idea, of course, that you could do. the Chalkboard option too, but they are so simple that they don't require painting and you can make a variety, you have something really fun, especially for the holidays and have a lot of fun with this, well, let's continue with another fun little decoration piece that I found. at Dollar Tree there is this wooden hanging decoration. I found it in a circle but I also found it in a heart. They are actually really fun and I saved the heart for a Valentine's Day project but I thought the wood was really very universal shape or sorry the circle was a very universal shape so I took that one and applied a couple of coats of chalk paint as usual to the surface, I found a little piece of vinyl and thought this would be a really fun little gift to give someone, so using a really pretty navy blue vinyl, I saw this SVG and thought it was so sweet and I thought it would be the perfect little idea for this fun little wooden round, okay I'm just reusing some transfers. tape that we'll burn on the front and back and we'll cut this out and there we go.

I love a navy blue with pretty white paint. I think it's really pretty, just centering and making sure your little hanger is right side up, perfectly centered, here we go. life is better with you I think this is a really cute and fun little gift and let me know what other ideas you would have for this little circle board. I think they are really fun and I love how they turned out again.
