You can get everything you need at Dollar Tree. I bought one of these cylindrical glasses. Three packages of these yellow pencils per jota which have sixteen in each package. I ended up only needing two packages. and I also picked up three bouquets and I'm also going to use this black ribbon. I'm going to start by hot gluing the pencils to the outside of the glass. It is important that you find a glass that is symmetrical at the top. the bottom in cylinder shape, so that when you stick the pencils with hot glue, they stick evenly. I also found that the cups that have letters printed on the pencils tended to stay on a little better.

I'm going to take the black tape and I'm going to wrap it around half of these pencils and then I'm going to use this chalk pen. I bought this at Michael's. You can find it at Walmart Joanne's Hobby Lobby anywhere. I'm actually going to put stitch marks on this ribbon before I hot glue it on. the pencils when I hot glue this tape to the pencils, I'm going to put a little bit of glue along the entire length of the tape, so when I wrap it around the pencils it will help keep the pencils in place a little better.

I printed these labels that says if teachers were flowers, I chose you, these are labels that I found on Google image. If you go to Google, click on the image and do a search, many different ones will come up, just pick one you like and print it. To get it out as a picture, I'm going to cut out two of these to be double sided and I thought I'd give these tags a more finished look by attaching them to this yellow cardstock. Then I'm going to use a wooden skewer that I had on hand which I bought at Dollar Tree and I'm going to hot glue it to the center of both tags so I can place it in the center of my flowers and there you have flowers for less than five

using hand soap. I bought this hand soap at Joanne's around Christmas time for a dollar. Dollar Tree has a soap similar to this and again using Google image search. I printed Lift up these labels that say without a doubt you are the best and I will also use twine and with the same simplicity I will use a hole punch to make a hole in the label and my twine I will tie around the neck of this. A stinky adorable gift for a teacher that is super affordable because it only cost her a dollar to make this next fun gift.
It should cost you three dollars. I bought this red oven mitt from the Dollar Tree, this whisk, and this bag of cookies. I will also use green raffia that I already had on hand and again using Google Image Search I found these tags that say I must admit you made me a clever cookie, so cute and stinky. Google Image Search is an amazing tool that has many different options. images, it has it all and is free to use for personal use. It's a tool that I use quite often in creating videos and for DIYs like this and again, using my hole punch, I'm going to make a hole in the top.
This label and using my green raffia, I'll wrap it around the outside of the oven mitt, place the cookies and the whisk inside the oven mitt. This is such a cute and stinky gift to give to your teacher as a thank you and it costs three dollars. to make and it took me maybe five minutes to make this gift idea is a DIY Cricut vinyl for those of you who have a Cricut. I picked up one of these plastic cups at the dollar

tree

using Cricut design space and again Google image I found this that says I really liked it when I was doing an image search, a teacher takes a hand, opens a mine and touches a heart.
I loved it so much that I designed it on my blank canvas and Cricut design space and cut it out with my black and white vinyl and everything. What you need to do is transfer this to the cup. This is a vinyl decal that I am putting on this mug. They say it is dishwasher safe. I usually don't put any of the cups or bowls I use vinyl on. the dishwasher I tend to wash them by hand just to be safe. I'm just going to stick it on this mug and using my scraper I'm going to remove it from the transfer paper and that's really it, this is a very quick and

easy

DIY. and it's a great way to use your cricket.
Could you see the result of this Cup and how easy it was? It took me maybe 10 minutes to make and cost me a dollar because I already have a Cricut. I had some vinyl on hand, this makes for a fun, easy to make and inexpensive gift for your teacher. I give her teacher a gift every day of teacher appreciation week, so I try to keep gifts under five dollars. This gift was one dollar and I will fill it. with candy before giving it to him for this last gift. I bought this piece of 4 by 12 craft plywood that I bought from Joanne's for a dollar.
I will also use Apple Barrel paint in the colors black, red, yellow, this khaki and white because This piece of craft plywood measures 4 inches wide by 12 inches long. I'm going to put a mark on the 4 inch side at the 2 inch measurement mark because this will be my center and then I'll measure down the side at the 1 and a half inch mark on both sides and then using my cutter boxes, I'm going to line up my ruler along the line I just drew and I'm going to cut where the line is using my box cutter because this plywood is very thin.
You can cut it with a cutter. It cuts very easily now using my Apple Barrel yellow paint. I'm going to paint this craft plywood on both sides giving it a nice thick base coat of yellow if you're in a hurry to dry it. You can always pop this in the oven at 125 and your project will dry in just a couple of minutes. Now move on to the eraser part of this pencil. I don't have a pink one on hand, so I use my red acrylic paint and my white paint. I'm going to mix the two together until I get the pink that I'm happy with and then on the square end of this plywood, I'm going to paint about an inch thick with my pink so the eraser doesn't worry about its lines Perfect because we're going to cover it with a silver washi tape for the wood and lead part of the pencil.
I'm going to take my pencil and make a sort of rough drawing of what the wood would look like after sharpening it. Taking my khaki Apple Barrel paint, I'm going to go ahead and paint this over and over again, don't worry about being perfect with your lines because when you sharpen a pencil, it's really not that perfect, now I use my black Apple Barrel paint. I'm going to paint just the tip of this pencil giving us the lead of our pencil to add a fun touch to this with the white paint and this round sponge. I'm going to add dots to the yellow part of this pencil and If your dots don't come out perfectly, you have the main shape of them, so you can take a brush and clean up the edges and fill in the dots a little better.
If a paint doesn't completely cover the spots, my paint is completely dry, so it's time to finish this project. I'm going to add some silver washi tape here where the eraser and pencil meet the silver part of the pencil. An alternative is to use silver paint. Another alternative is to use aluminum foil. stick it on with maybe a little Mod Podge, the silver washi tape I'm using today is one I found at Dollar Tree, we're almost done with this project, all that's left to do is write your teacher's name on this and I will do. Use these permanent markers by jota which are not fine tip, they have a thicker tip if you don't feel comfortable writing the name on it.
An alternative if you have a Cricut is to use your Cricut and use vinyl or cardstock if you use cardstock you would use a spray adhesive to adhere to your pencil or use stickers. You can find stickers at Dollar Tree. You can find decals in the scrap booking section at Walmart. You don't have to use a pen. I was just trying to keep the cost down so I thought using a permanent marker and writing her name would definitely be the way to do it and oh my gosh would you look at how stinking cute it turned out?
It takes a little work, but in the end. The result is worth it, we are not done yet because it needs a hanger and I will use twine to hang it by simply gluing it to the back of the pencil and my little miss Ellie decided it wasn't finished. until she signed it and dated it right, that's all I have for you for today, these easy to make teacher appreciation gifts, they are very easy and the best part is that they are inexpensive, don't forget to share this video. A thumbs up and let's get this video to 1200 likes until next time.
