Custom Bolt Sleeper on a 2022 Freightliner Cascadia

Freightliner Cascadia with a 110-inch

bolt

crossmember and a 20-foot box. I wanted to give you a quick tour of the inside of the truck. We'll start with the front of the cabin and then work our way up to the bedroom. Okay so for a really quick tour of the cabin of the truck uh starting with the seats they're like a leatherette seat they're heated and cooled seats of course the pneumatic seats we have all the controls that you would need to have the hands free while driving right here. on the steering wheel, as far as you can, you can make phone calls, you can control the cruise control by radio and all that, all of our trucks are automatic and all of our trucks now we like to put the camera systems uh on and with the camera systems we have five different cameras we have a front camera we have a backup camera we have the left passenger and driver side cameras when you put the blinkers on those cameras they turn on so you can see in your blind spots and we don't have one camera, that camera front in the cab we don't have it on any of our trucks no we believe in drivers privacy we won't install them unless we are forced to buy fedex and we won't be happy campers if that happens so it's a quick tour and very fast on the front.

Well, I can show you some of the cabinets we have here. We have a small storage area here. A couple of cabinets here for storage also upstairs. the driver on the passenger has a little bit more storage space, those are like your glove boxes because you don't have a glove box on the passenger side like a lot of vehicles do, so technically these are your glove boxes and then another one, just another one. little storage here we have a fairly large cabinet for storage above the microwave we have another cabinet with a decent amount of storage there and on the right side of the microwave here we have another slim cabinet for more storage then we have the microwave bar counter convection oblique grill oblique grill yes, very, very convenient on the road, essential yes, it's very good to have here we have the small TV, we would like them to mount the TV up here, maybe they would have it out of the way to give You have a little more space in the cabinet or on the counter and you can use the sink without worrying about splashing the TV and all the electronic devices.

The TV has a cover, but I would still prefer to be up here when it maybe bends. Below for the sink you have, here comes an improved faucet. We've had complaints about some of our older faucets, they didn't do that and they splashed a lot and then of course splashed all over the counter. and maybe even splash your electronics on your TV. A nice deep sink big enough for life on the go makes washing dishes easier, certainly very convenient. Some nice cubicles. Yes, they have cubbies back here for your spices or medicines. Any other little thing that can fit.

Here we have an induction stove and a stove. Many drivers enjoy using them. We had one in our truck, it was a 2016, we never used it, but I know a lot of teams like it. to use them yeah we were the microwave queens here at the bottom we have your of course you just have some string lights your water pump switch your inverter this is the controller for the dometic air conditioner uh On the roof we have here, these are the controls. for the fans on the heat and air conditioning while driving down the road yes, these are these that control the bedroom heating and air conditioning and the fan speeds of one of the moving trucks yes, we have three drawers here, this one it's half a drawer because of the sink and then the next two drawers are very deep, good size drawers next to the ones you have the freezer, the refrigerator, it's small, but we found that it works well on the way, you know, it will hold a good amount of things.

You can do it if you play Tetris and do it well. You can fit a good amount of stuff in there, so keep coming back here. You have another cabinet. This is way back. You can put a body in that thing. Very deep cabinets. Lots of others. The sleeping companies may have more cabinets, but their cabinets are not necessarily as deep as some of the cabinets here, of course, you have a window behind this, you have your breaker box, you can lift it up and get to your inverter and your triangles and things like that and the windows have covers right now to help you know in the winter to help provide a little more insulation, but those covers come off up here, you have a vent fan, it's not the best fan in the world, it's kind of cheap, yeah, definitely not one of our favorites, but it works.

Move some air in our AAA beds. We had fantastic fans that were much better than these cheap fans, but the fantastic fans don't fit. the way the

this fantastic fan sorry more cabinets and every cabinet and every drawer you can see it's pressing buttons and that helps secure the drawer, cabinets and drawers closed because you don't want those things to open and the things that are filed to fall out while you're bouncing along these wonderful paths, these cabinets back here have a ton of storage, again, you could fit a lot of things back there , here's the dinette on the dining room table, I've got a couple of cup holders there and another seat there, another window and then if we just pull this here, we fold the bed, the dinette folds underneath and you have an almost full size bed full, it's not a full full size bed, but it works and then what's really cool is when you lower the bed, you see these little knobs back here, the ones that have more hidden storage in the back on each side, so you can put some. things in there that you don't need a lot of times, of course, when we were traveling we kept our bed down at all times, we very rarely raised it, but a lot of people like to raise their bed so that you wouldn't.

If you don't want to put something there that you need to get to all the time, then here you have a little smaller area that you can put some things in and there's one on the other side that's very identical to that and some smaller ones, some small ones. . cup holder stuff here under this window shade some electrical outlets and your apu control so you have the 110 outlets and you also have your usb plug and bar heater control s all mounted here we have one more cabinet for a body, another body that one can see a little bit better and then once you come here, you have two, two closets for the team drivers, you get one each, it's a lot of space to hang clothes or fold clothes, which whatever you want to put in there and then a little drawer underneath for even more storage we come here this is the shower toilet door it's not huge but it's a hell of a lot better than what we had which was nothing and a five gallon bucket with a toilet seat So this definitely makes life on the go much more convenient, especially for us ladies who don't like walking to the bathroom at midnight.

The way this toilet works is that you turn it in one direction when you are showering. more room to stand in the shower and then you turn it, you turn it that way to blow up a squad, you use the bathroom and your toilet paper stays on this cool little thing here and you close it, it doesn't get wet, so it's you. I don't know the most important thing, but it's definitely nice to have when you're traveling and plenty of room to sit down, yeah, yeah, I'm only five foot eleven, but someone six foot two six foot three would still have plenty of room and keep going. and get up so yeah, yeah, then he's got enough, you could be seven feet tall and still have plenty of room to shower.
