Game Theory: The Never-Ending NIGHTMARE (The Bunny Graveyard)

Apr 28, 2024
Hello Internet, welcome to Game Theory, the show that's making indie horror crazy. I think we can all agree that there is a bit of a checklist for capturing your audience's attention these days. Pretty pictures. Harmless mini-

game

s. Black goo. The color purple. Evil experiments and adorable animals. Extra pet points if it turns out to be a rabbit and even more points if it's a purple rabbit, it's a proven formula at this point and it's clear that the indie developers of the new

game

Bunny Graveyard saw that list and ran with it. I don't. i got access to it i think oh i saw purple GL purple Glitches in the bunch baby mark it in XY Z Access to Alpa in the new game

Play mini-games ranging from gardening to fishing to drill all things, oh this is it, this is drill while collecting mysterious notes while Sky begins to reveal her true colors, she purle, oh, now you're just a shadow bunny . Shadow Bunny or Shadow Bonnie turns out that Sky's real name is Sylvie, she is spitting black goo creating monsters and trying to kill us like every good villain does. We eventually figured out how to escape, jumped into a purple portal, and came face to face with Sky, the real sky. and then the credits roll, honestly that could have been the end, a nice and fun experience.

More Interesting Facts About,

game theory the never ending nightmare the bunny graveyard...

A lovely little indie horror game with a nice art style, but of course it doesn't end there, this is the peak of indie horror my friends, because just before we made it. to escape Sylvie warns us that this world is not what it seems, a classic indie horror 101, leave us with a final warning that things are not what you expect, so that we buy the sequel and theorize about it and as it always does . I fell in love with the Hook Line and Sinker stratagem. Every game is legally required to have a fishing minigame, but bad puns aside, I have to tell you guys, Sylvie wasn't lying.

The more I dug up from this rabbit

graveyard

, the more I realized that this is far from your run-of-the-mill indie game, all those tropes, those things you expect to see in indie horror games, they were just distractions, they were big turn-offs. , all to hide the truth about what really happens in this game, which is much deeper and much more interesting than you would expect, so jump into the void with my friends as I reveal the truth of chapter 1 of the bunny graveyard and maybe even lay out some predictions about where I think we're going. The next step is when you start the game for the first time, you start it in front of an old computer monitor.
game theory the never ending nightmare the bunny graveyard
There are some applications like Internet, which do not have anything from Ms Paint Bright. Can I print it? It was actually a trash can, damn we have that too. what appears to be a heart monitor that tracks two characters, a bunny with a heart-shaped eye and another with a circular eye. For now I'm going to put a pin on the orange guy, but I think it's pretty clear that the heart-shaped bunny is Sky. We find ourselves at the end of the game because, well look at her, she's got a heart over her eye, it's not too hard to put two and two together folks, on the official Pinching Games website we actually get character descriptions and Sky tells us that she is quoting. a young bunny who lost her eye in a traumatic incident that she seems to have forgotten maybe the system is designed to monitor her health maybe she will be in a coma before we get to her door it's possible but we need to dig a little deeper to find out Find out the truth here and as you can see this game does a great job of activating the theoretical senses from frame one, since we're monitoring bunnies on this computer it only makes sense that we click on the last main icon on the screen. that's just a bunny, except we don't seem to have access to it, but when has that stopped a player before?
So I kept clicking until something happened when I finally had to chase a stingray. I think it's a little hard I say it, but regardless of what it is after that quick Chase sequence, a purple crack in the screen releases a white light. The next thing we know is that our cursor looks a little different, more expressive, less like a normal computer character and more like a character from a game that then We drop into a new world, but you'll notice that just before landing we're asked to Let's choose a game to play. Our choice is Bunny Garden, but Bunny Garden is not the game we are playing all this time.
I've been calling him. The Bunny Graveyard and that's the game I have on Steam, so why is the title here different? Well, it's because when the purple void opened in the computer, the cursor wasn't the only thing that was sucked in, we were sucked in with it. The white light actually passes beyond the screen filling the entire image and now there is no screen dividing us. We are trapped inside the video game as the cursor character. A character that doesn't belong. Everyone seems to comment on the fact that we don't look. like the other practical friends, meaning they are all unaware that this is a computer game, all except our evil purple bunny friend Sylvie, while she is shocked when we are first introduced to her, she

never

mentions the fact that we are different In fact, she actively treats us like we're perfectly normal, that's great, it makes me so happy to see little hands like you hanging out here, not only that, but while fishing, Miname Sylvie slips and almost says who We really are, Nelson. you go with the c, the cursor didn't know, yes, the cursor, does the boy know that we are in a video game?
I mean the white glove, yes, you go with the white glove and when we entered her house we found out who she is. She's not only aware of who we are, but she's actively turning the people who come into this world into our handy little friends, preventing them from reaching the portal we used at the end of the game to escape, so she can tell us that. This world is not what you think it is when we go through the portal at the end of the game, although we find ourselves in a new location, but we are still a cursor which at first confused me because aren't we in the world now, don't we escape the game , but then I thought about the opening menu, they asked us to choose a game and we chose Bunny Garden, but if you look you can scroll to the side and choose other options or you would if the DLC was available, but what's behind that game selection screen is a purple void like the one we traverse to reach the new world.
At the end of the game, we may have escaped the Bunny Garden, but all we did was manage to travel. to another game we are still trapped inside the computer system, we are not in the real world yet, but wait, if we are still trapped in the game world, then why is Sky here? We were monitoring her heart rate at the beginning of the game. game I guess this was due to her tragic accident, but if she is here that would mean that she is also inside this game, why well, for that I had to start digging even deeper into the game and I really mean the game because the answer is actually hidden within the game files, there seems to be almost an entire dialogue from the game that just doesn't appear in chapter 1, it almost seems like dialogue a player character would say when interacting with the world around them, but We are just a glove, we can't talk, so who is this dialogue coming from?
Well, if you look at some of the early trailers for The Bunny Graveyard, it looked like we were originally going to play Sky in a place called Carrot Town, which then makes the cut lines like remember to consume your carrots responsibly much more realistic. than normal, but the main thing I found within these cut lines that tells us exactly what's going on here is this simulation quote Secrets of the Afterlife Theory, now for context, there were some data miners who managed to get this version of the game to work and Sky was shown saying this line after finding some books in his house, unfortunately those videos were taken down because they violated copyright, which you know is completely justified there, but it just means I can't show it to him, so You'll have to take my word for this evidence.
Point out anyway that what these data miners were able to produce seemed identical to some of the trailers we've seen before Chapter 1's release and since the dialogue is in the game files and in that game we play a sky within the house since the end of Chapter 1, I have a feeling this could be a first hint of what will happen now in Chapter 2 for those. Of you who are not aware, simulation

theory

is the idea that our universe, including all the planets, galaxies and life forms, are part of a simulation, it's like the Matrix, except with the rabbits, someone in The world of heaven has suspected the same thing that we discovered.
They may be living inside a computer, but it's that second part that really caught my attention. The secrets of the afterlife, why would whoever is looking at them inside a simulation also be investigating what happens when we die, unless that's exactly what they're there for? To start, in the simulation, what if Sky wasn't in a coma or recovering from some tragic accident, but instead she died in that accident and her remaining Consciousness was uploaded into the system to keep her alive? Somehow, suddenly the name appears. from this game it makes a lot of sense bunny graveyard we are sucked into a computer that is literally the graveyard of dead bunnies as Sky is kept alive in a new digital form and thanks to the trailer released by Pichon Games a year before its release titled 41 1992 I Think that we have a date for when this incident began, April 1, 1992, although I suppose it could be January 4, 1992 because the developers are Cuban and in Cuba they use day, month, year for calendar dates, but of course Either way it's 1992.
Surely, that was over two decades ago at this point, which might explain why there are so many cobwebs around these cobwebs. We have to clean them up, but this incident didn't just involve one Rabbit. Remember that at the beginning of the game we saw two. The heart monitors one for Sky and one for someone else. If we want to get the full picture here, we'll need to figure out who this other bunny is, and to do that, I'll need you to prove that you're not one. It is also a simulation when pressing the subscribe button. Fun fact, by the way, I don't know if you're aware of this, but YouTube just added a new feature where if I say subscribe to the channel, the Subscribe button should glow or glow. for you for some reason and then if you actually press the button at that moment it explodes.
I'm not 100% sure it didn't work on any of my devices. I don't know what my problem is, but hey, if you're subscribed to this channel, you already unsubscribe and then resubscribe just so you can get that little burst of dopamine and if you're not subscribed to the channel, hit it anyway because hey, will that subscribe button give you a little burst of dopamine? we give you a big burst of dopamine every week with our amazing episodes anyway, let's talk about that mysterious other rabbit, shall we?, the mysterious character we only know by a letter C. Throughout the game, you'll encounter a handful from notes written by a mysterious character named C the notes themselves don't really tell us anything important, it's just someone like us exploring this place for the first time and writing everything down, they witness rabbit-like creatures gardening in the amazing architecture of the labyrinth, the giant fish that tries. to kill us later, but it's not the content of the notes that's most interesting, it's the numbers at the top of those notes.
These notes are numbered 13 to 16, which is odd since you know you'll usually want to start with the number one. but the strange thing is that the lowest number, 13, is found just outside the Void, while the other notes with higher numbers are found much earlier in the game, further away from the void. 14 is at the beginning of the maze. 15 is outside Sylv's garden and 16 is. Deep in the forest, it's clear that C is exploring this new world, but unlike us, he didn't come from outside. Instead, I propose that C actually came from inside the computer from inside the vacuum, which is why all the notes are in reverse order and why. note 13 says quote just arrived at code name flower first thing I think is very happy looking for my taste C has been planning to get here has a code name and everything if he is exploring the void maybe he is in something like a central hub that you can see different cracks like the one we went through or maybe doors like the one we see in the original demo, so he has given each one a different codename, meaning that notes 1 to 12They will probably be seen exploring some of the other worlds which I guess we are likely to see in future chapters of this game, so who is this mysterious sea?
Why do they travel through the void to other game worlds? They are actually missing the second rabbit. Well, I think the answer to that last one is. I decided that yes, well, there isn't a single character in the game with a name that starts with C. We have a character who currently has no name. When you manage to unlock the secret

ending

of the game, you will receive a new clip of a blindfolded bunny. just sitting in the void now just because this is a rabbit in the void doesn't make you see that would be pretty shallow evidence so I decided to look outside of the games and let me tell you I hit the jackpot if you come back to YouTube Channel Pichon Games and scroll down to their first video, you will find a revealing trailer that gives us everything we are looking for.
We're introduced to Sky's brother, a grumpy-looking rabbit whose eyes are being hidden sounds familiar enough, but then Lynch's pin appears. Sky says his name, claudo, a name that starts with that all important letter C claudo is our mysterious missing bunny and the one who travels from game to game leaving notes for us to find the trailer even reveals how he ended up in the void to begin with, let's just say it's not exactly the kindest. of Brothers went so far as to call his sister Sky a one-eyed monster, which, as we previously learned, happened during a tragic accident, so it's one way to kick someone while they're down there, buddy, but after doing this while they're lying down in bed sleeping with a family member.
A black goo goes up his bed, grabs him and then Claudo disappears and it was at that moment where everything suddenly fell into place for him. This one clip told me everything I needed to know about Sylvia and her motivations, all the evil things Sylv has been doing. Sky's bad brother disappears by sucking people who come looking for Sky into the game and trapping them there, even dressing up as Sky and killing anyone who gets too close. It's all to do one thing: protect Sky, that's correct in classic game

theory

, the villain is the good guy. guy all the time, if you were trying to keep something really valuable on your computer, would you leave it completely unprotected?
It's crazy, but I think that would be doubly true to keep a Digital Consciousness alive and that's what I think Sylvie is because even though I've been calling her Sylvie this whole time in the credits, we see something slightly different, she's definitely still Sylvie. , but it is written as s1l v13 which my friends speak Elite and is very reminiscent of computer code, she is a security protocol, a program whose only job is to protect Sky's consciousness, however it is clear that she has become completely old Ultron with us and decided that each and every one is a potential.
He threatens Sky, which is why in her demo she says, "You're here for her, right?" and we follow a little black bunny through the forest into the void where we are sucked in, she is leading us into a trap so we can't. hurt Sky, that's why she dresses like Sky, so when people enter her world looking for the real Sky, they get a false sense of security, they found out who they were looking for and it also allows Sylvie to eliminate any potential threats. of the image easily. turn all the cursors into handy pels using her corrupted code and get them to obey her and if they don't do it right she could just delete them, but the detail that really seals the deal here is the one that supports this theory more than anything else .
Her character profile on the Pong Games website asks us this quote why she pretended to be Sky and if she's really that bad, given everything else we've seen of her in the game, yeah, she'd seem pretty bad unless, for Of course, it is. doing so for reasons she believes are good to protect a poor defenseless rabbit with only one eye. I guess she shouldn't rush to judge purple bunnies, but then again, can you blame me? There you have the true story of The Bunny Graveyard. A tragic story of two bunnies who fight for their lives within a simulated reality only for the system designed to protect them to go rogue, killing anyone who approaches and s

ending

one of them through the void to fend for itself, but now that we've escaped and Sky has woken up and has a feeling that Sylvia is going to be pretty mad about it, given how crazy she already was, things are only going to get more dangerous from here, in some previews we've already seen more much larger and scarier black bunny creatures. that Sylvia appeared in chapter one, but there's also what I can only imagine is that the evolved version of the glove spider monsters from chapter 1 now has IT on other bunnies in this world, presumably all of the ones Sylvie saw are a threat to Sky. and maybe just maybe when We, The Brave Little cursor, find our way out of the simulation and return to reality.
We can take Sky and Claudo with us, allowing them to live the lives they

never

had. We just have to hope their overprotective security program doesn't make the cut. to follow us, but hey, that's just a theory, a game theory, thanks for watching and if you want to see Tom and I trying to solve this game in real time as we struggle to beat GT Live's simplest minigames, it's over on the left. or if you fancy something a little less chaotic, you can always watch our video about the granddaddy of indie horror Slender Man. That theory is over right, as always, don't forget to subscribe my friends and we'll see you all next week.
