This is a trash can from Dollar Tree. What I'm going to do is spray it with rustic orange spray paint. Feed the string through the button so we have a little X right there and I'm going to feed it. these strings just tie this I bought a pack of felt

shapes and felt bat shapes, if you just cut along the bottom, I put hot glue on it, put our smile on there. I'm going to cut out a triangle with a generous amount of My hot glue press this directly onto our trash can. The next thing we want to do is our straw, you're going to fold it in half, take a pipe cleaner, pull it and twist it to give your raffia a haircut and pass them through and give our scarecrows some straw hair and we will give our scarecrow a nice little hat oh you know what he needs, he needs a bow here is our little scarecrow, all ready to greet Friends by the front door.

the zip ties, put them together since we are making a garden pumpkin, we want to use a nice orange spray.

The next step is we're going to use some of these fairy lights, go ahead and tie the battery pack all the way to the bottom, you're going to go up to the bottom and then I've got some 16 gauge wire and let's go. I'm going to go straight across, finish cutting all of these strips and go ahead and lay them on the pillow. I'm going to go ahead and trim off these excess scraps and I'm going to start hot gluing the straps. You will need an orange pillow or pillowcase. I'm going to use the adhesive felt I have. I drew some lines and now I'm going to use my scissors to cut them, peel them and glue them in place. I'm going to hot glue this foam onto this foam felt and we're going to glue this on and I'm going to let this dry and it'll be a pretty little ornament.

I'm going to draw the inside of this face, peel them and glue them in place so you have the pumpkin on one side and you have your jack-o-lantern on the other side I found this branch when I was outside and thought it would be perfect for making a

tree

of autumn. I want to mute them a little bit, but I'm going to take some white craft paint and just mix up some fall colors and I'm going to take some paint and I'm just going to brush it on the leaf, I'm going to put a little mist on these to so they can see the original colors.

Here and how pretty they are. I went ahead and grabbed a garden pot that I no longer need and I need to place this branch inside the pot and just cut long strips of foam and then start

using

these pieces of foam to secure. the

tree

in place, so I'm just going to use a little bit of this burlap ribbon to cover the foam, just use some kind of moss or bark clippings, just give it a little bit of extra pizzazz at the bottom, add a little bit of hot glue on the back of your leaf and then simply attach it directly to the small branches.

I hope you try this the next time you want to spruce up a corner of your house. The first thing I'm going to do is put the lanterns together, they're really easy to put together and just paint the lanterns and set them aside and let them dry completely let's make some leaves and stems and then I'm going to go ahead and cut them out. I'm just gluing on a green pipe cleaner, I grab some newspaper Roll this up and secure it with some washi tape, then I'll just add a little bit of brown paint. Locate the top of the pumpkin that has this small hook and wrap the pipe cleaner once or twice around that hook.
