Nintendo Is Being...Nintendo Again...

hey hey, Nintendo is just dumb, I don't even know what else to say right now, this is something that actually already came out, I think it was like a year ago, um, actually I think it was probably even longer than that, maybe time about two years ago. but we get even more information about one of the things that is probably the most confusing to me: Nintendo is known for making the worst business decisions of all time, like the stupidest decisions for their consoles and their games, and because they are just plain weird , they don't like playing with other people, they like to do their own thing and sometimes they are such strange company and you know, we love their games, we love their presentations and everything they do, but man, sometimes the business side of them it's just ridiculous now that we know this with Nintendo, in fact since E3 is over they switched to the end of June now just to make sure they don't have a presentation to interfere with anyone else's presentations, in fact we just receive information, there were rumors suggesting that the direct partner to start this year was going to be a week early, but thanks to Xbox actually having their own little meeting that they wanted to do, Nintendo moved.

Return it because they didn't want to interfere with Xbox. They are so strange as to hate direct competition. They don't want to be close to anyone. They don't do anything with anyone. They just want to do their thing. and this is something that is spreading to all other aspects, especially when it comes to partnering with other games like Fortnite. You've probably heard this already and it's actually all over the internet right now if you go on Twitter or anywhere else online. There was a recent interview with Donald Mustard, who was the creative CEO of Fortnite Epic Games All the Jazz, yeah, he was the big guy who did the stories and all the seasons and stuff, and he actually retired around chapter 3.

Season 3 was one of his last seasons that he worked on and that was like a couple of years ago, but they had an interview with him and he talked about the game and the things he loved to do to create the game and his inspiration for making it. Fortnite and that's how it came about. to the characters he was so excited to have in Fortnite and talks about how the point of having all these crossover characters and movie and video game references is because he wanted the game to feel like kids playing in a backyard and playing with action figures and Barbies and toys and Batman is supposed to do this and Spider-Man is supposed to do this no, when you were a kid you play with action figures and they can do whatever you want them to do and the whole point of Fortnite is to have these characters crazy in the game and make them do whatever we want them to do, which is obviously shoot guns and you know, use mythic items and run around a battle royale map and jump off a battle bus and slide and it's crazy, but it works and Of course, they also wanted to get some Nintendo characters and a Sami specifically, they wanted to get Sami in the game and I can tell you right now what season this comes from, episode 2, season 5, where it was the whole theme of the season.

Bounty Hunter I know, it fits perfectly, I mean you could even throw Captain Falcon in there but Samus was supposed to be one of the main characters, I don't know if she was in the battle pass or just as a skin we could buy but one of the main hunters and part of the big three, apparently we've at least seen some concept art because we have Halo's Master Chief on Microsoft's side and we have God of War's Kratos on Sony's side. Of things, what about the Nintendo side? Well, it was supposed to be Sami, but Nintendo said no, of course, and you want to know why Nintendo said no?

They said no because apparently they wanted that skin to only be seen in the period visible on Nintendo Switch, yes. You heard me right, that skin could only be seen by Switch users so essentially you would be buying a skin and for everyone who doesn't play on Switch it's probably like a default skin or something because they only wanted Nintendo users to on their Switches they saw. This epic games thing just said, "We can't do that for the sake of it, that's stupid now that you look back, this is nothing new for Nintendo, they've done it before with other games, for example, Rocket League, too." "I had Mario Luigi and Samus cars." uh, but for some reason you can only play them on a Switch console and you can't watch them if you don't have a Switch, which is exactly what they wanted to do with Fortnite, which is a stupid thing like, who cares if?

Someone can have an Xbox and buy a Samus car or have a PlayStation and buy a Mario car as if they were still making a profit from it. Why did Nintendo even do this in the past, for example with GameCube titles with complicated SSX on tour? you had playable Mario Luigi and Peach but only in the GameCube version and the exact same thing happened with NBA Street 3 where you had Mario Luigi and Peach but only in the GameCube version. Soulcaliber 2 was also the same way where you could play as a link but only on the GameCube version, but you know, I gave credit to that version because it also had specific characters from other consoles and platforms, depending on the console you purchased it for. the game, so I understand that one, but still Nintendo has always been like that.

I'm sure some people would say, yeah, well, stay away from Fortnite Nintendo, but what you don't realize is that Nintendo is just making itself look bad. Almost every other video game company throws their characters into Fortnite because it's becoming this movie metaverse. shows and video game characters and any character in general like almost everyone and everything is in fortnite right now it's crazy that Nintendo would just deny it because of this weird request that they want I mean they have characters like reuse Solid Snake and Nathan Drake just to name a few, and even Lura Croft was just added recently and it looks bad, it's like Nintendo doesn't want to play friendly with other people even though they announce every new season of Fortnite on their channel and show it all.

At that point they had that big talk where they put Fortnite on the Switch and you know, everyone said okay, we'll get some skins for sure, but not in the way we want. Nintendo wants skins to only be viewable from one console, yes. is just bad and the reason you should care about this even if you don't care about Fortnite is the fact that these characters can sometimes just be promoted through a game like Fortnite when people are wondering why Metroid is so specific and why. Not many people know the game, it's because Nintendo doesn't advertise it this way.

This would have been a perfect way to bring people into Metroid, especially before Metroid Prime 4, and get people to know the character a little more. be curious about the character and no this is a real thing trust me I have been a victim of this before there were characters, skins and fortnite from specific movies I had never seen and in some ways I was a little more interested since the Now

talked about of the character in the game and the same thing happens with things like Smash Brothers when Nintendo revealed new characters from maybe different games that I had never played, that interested me a little more.

This is something that definitely could have gotten Sam and the Metroid name out there a little more for reasons like that. It's painful to see Nintendo make these decisions that may ultimately help them and it also almost makes me feel like Nintendo is a bit hypocritical about everything because they have one of the greatest fighters of all time and probably the greatest now was Super Smash. Brothers Ultimate where they are literally incorporating third party characters from other franchises and other platforms into their game.

I mean, they're literally throwing in some of the craziest characters and hoping that all these companies will agree to Nintendo taking their character and it's not like you're just throwing them into an average game, you know, Cameo or something, no, they're fighters. complete ones that come from other consoles and other series from other platforms, and Nintendo is begging companies for this, I mean, I just took out Sora for crying out loud, so the fact that Nintendo is okay, give me your characters , but then when someone asked them they said no you won't get our characters it's weird and honestly I feel it naturally in my bones and this could.

Just be obvious, but if it weren't for Sakurai, this would never happen in Smash Brothers. Smash Brothers would never be as big as it is because of these third-party inclusions and they probably wouldn't have happened. I mean, I don't even know.
