Apr 07, 2024
Hi everyone, welcome to the video, welcome to the channel, today we're going to show you an amazing package that we received and we're going to talk about an upcoming collaboration for that, but the most important thing that we're going to do today is I'm going to be able to give it back to someone who has helped us tremendously Mike and to me over the years, a cool opportunity and then at the end there will be a little bit of bonus material that I didn't really know where Put it like this, I just put it at the end of this video of us

trying

to fight with some four tires wheels so you might want to keep an eye on that too Hello everyone welcome to the video welcome to the channel today we have a There are some things going on and one thing we definitely need to talk about is we have a problem we have a problem and one of you did it and I don't know who so I need your guys help let me show you what I'm talking about. about this is a quick connect plate we have been talking about putting a quick connect on the John Deere 755 so I have some forks obviously there are two it's in the box they didn't send one and I keep saying they do because they don't I know. who sent this I have no idea there's no letter there's no email that says hey by the way I'm sending you this um whatever I don't know who sent this if you sent me this email I have to tell you thank you very much I'm telling you, thank you now same if you don't know we've been talking about putting some, that was hard to say, quick plates on the John Deere 755 Sun, get some forks that will help you with the logs and stuff when I started doing the milling and general cleaning around of the property and I said, hey, you know, maybe I can save enough this fall, maybe we can pick something up and someone said, no, you can have something now, this is amazing, who did this, who did it. this I have no idea I am again beyond words and incredibly humbled by this here is the exciting thing here is the exciting thing about this this means this here and the other one in that box that means I don't have to spend the money to buy them now, There are still other things we have to do, we have to make some modifications to the cube, however, another YouTuber came up to me and said, "Hey, I have koi attached to my 755 and if you want to upload." one day he lives in Indiana and you bring your bucket and bring the 755.

He may just need the charger. In fact, we'll put them there. We will make a video with that. It will be a good time, so that works for us too. No, this is crazy, this is crazy. What I mean is that I don't have to spend money on it now, which means we have the opportunity to do something fun and my favorite activity. What you have to do is pay and that is exactly what we are going to do today, at least I hope that we have the opportunity for you to see that it is

rain

ing.

We're watching the radar pretty close to what you see. I want some pets, get you some hits, get you some pets, there you go, let's just run over there real quick towards the ranger, side by side, and see what he wants to do. I hope this

rain

misses us enough. that we can take this thing down, I'm glad we have the windshield here, that's very helpful, so just so you know what we're getting into, we're going to tilt this bench back again and explain it a little bit. a little more in the next clip, but as you can see, there are no glitches, it never fails.

I was talking to Bill, it never fails. We were sitting at the station yesterday and I was looking outside. It was beautiful, sunny and beautiful all day while we. you sat at the station and then you have your day off to come try to help someone and that's what it rains a little bit, but it's okay, we'll do it another day, let's take care of this and that's it. It will be in this video. I promise you'll be

paying

attention, so after that rainy day I went back to shift at the station and unfortunately this is coming off a shift right now and I'm not getting many pictures as I mentioned before.

I didn't get a ton of drop pictures any drop pictures because it was starting to rain on this, but look at the rain covered lens here, you'll see the 304 sitting on the side of the road right there, so that's where I hope we get let's direct next time, although I didn't want to miss that rainy day, so as I said at the end of this video, there are some additional images, this is what I did that rainy day. I went up to try to change some tires. my four wheel tires and it was quite a show so you can stay for that at the end okay so we come back around three actually today we got some sun, see what we can get into.
So I think we can all agree that it's probably best that we change the buckets real quick, well if you guys carry bricks and your tool bags, but they're pretty handy, pretty handy, I keep mine next to my adjustable hammer , very useful. Okay, second round, okay, let's try this again, we're looking a little better, we should probably start with this cube, let's try this again, will we all be mine? It's pretty good, there you will see what is happening here. Don't know. I don't know, make sure we're still sick of the hills here, it might be too close right now, let me back up a little bit, I think it'll be better if we go down that bottom, let's do it real quick. oh she's a little more stable here now let's see what she does so now that that's taken care of we're just taking most of that mess and throwing it behind us in a pile luckily Bill was able to get a charger to borrow that day too, you can see him hanging around in the background, so I'm just throwing everything in a pile behind me, he's taking that charger, picking it up, doing the old-fashioned loading and hauling and getting it out of the way, basically.
On this first pass, all I'm

trying

to do is get most of the material out of the way and get most of the large rocks that the smooth face bucket will bounce off of, get most of those rocks out of the way as well. and then we'll come back and change the buckets and clean it up one last time, so I think we've got most of the big rocks that we're going to bounce off of, we've got the general slope and shape. At this point, we're going to take a smooth sided bucket and peel off about six inches of everything, clean it, and dress it.
Working in this trench and he wants to make a little catch basin there, that's how we're doing it. we're having a good time doing this I'll put you on the tripod and we'll get to work so I want to take a couple of minutes to talk about this client, which is something we never do, we don't talk about our clients in these videos, but in my opinion is worth mentioning anyway, this is Bill and I mentioned him before so you should already know this and have probably seen Bill if you've been with Mike for a while on the Dirt Perfect channel.
You've probably seen Bill before in some of his store videos. Bill has helped Mike and I tremendously during our time at the Derby and the example I have personally and mentioned in previous videos. Chelsea and my first home. Our first property. It was a 16 by 32 foot log cabin, it was small and then we had our first daughter and decided to add more so we did a little 16 by 16 edition. Now I didn't know Bill very well at that time in my life. I knew Bill lived in the derby and all Bill knew was that I was developing an addiction and he would show up to help me almost throughout the entire project.
I mean, he was a huge help on that project and the fact that he would show it. to help a guy he didn't even know, that says a lot about someone now, as far as his capabilities are concerned, Bill has helped tremendously in improving the microphone in the workshop and for good reason, he has incredible knowledge and skill in that area before Bill retired, he worked. for Moser's Crush Stone and I'm not sure of the exact job title, but the best way I know how to say it is that he was in charge, he was the chief mechanic, he was in charge of all the mechanics that worked for Moser's Crush Dome.
They were a very large company, they had a lot of operations and all the equipment you can imagine, including the tugs that he specified, which means he designed two of his line tugs that go up and down the river daily and he has one. Of the boats in his fleet, his smaller tugs are actually named after him and I don't know what you know about the marine industry, but having a tug named after him is very important and that also says a lot about you. he is one of those people that you listen to, he is so knowledgeable as I mentioned and when he talks you listen and if you listen carefully you will learn something every time.
I don't care if it's just a passive conversation at the gas station while I. I'm there buying my morning energy drink, if Bill talks to me and I listen close enough, I'll walk away with something I didn't know before that conversation, so this is where YouTube comes into play when I say YouTube. I'm talking about you, the loyal fans, the loyal subscribers, the ones who watch all the videos, the ones who leave likes, leave the comments, send packages that help us support some projects like those awesome, awesome quick connect boards because to things like that that Mike and I are. in a comfortable enough position to be able to come here and say, do you know what free bill we have?
And being able to help someone who has helped us so much in life. That feeling is amazing and we could not do it without the support of your guys so thank you so much for this let's be honest we are all where we are today thanks to the help of others and to be able to pay back the people who have helped us , that's an amazing feeling, okay, so let's take a look at what we ended up here. Bill has pretty much everything packed in there. We'll get you on the tractor so you can join Bill once here before we leave.
We remove everything. Pretty decent and the slope wasn't too bad for the material we were working with and for the operator at the controls. Bill has a load of rock on the other side of the tree and is going to place about three inches of rock on top. of this has fines and it's mixed is what we call 73 here it has some fines, well, look, it's this, it's more or less things, it has fines and it packs up very well, but you can see that the road has a pretty heavy crown. anyway, so everything should run that way pretty well, we ran into a bunch of what we called floating rocks, but that wasn't too bad, we removed most of that with the bucket of teeth, but we ran into a rock ledge.
You can see it down here, so I couldn't take that basin as far as I wanted, but I still think it will work. We threw some rocks here and built it up a little just in case, why not. There will only be water coming this way, but there is also water coming right around that corner and further down the road. I think it will work well. Bill seems to be very happy with it. Phil's love life on Baronette Tractor. People always ask Mike and me. what are our favorite things about youtube and our two answers are always the same, the people we meet and the opportunities it gives us, and it is thanks to youtube and the amazing subscribers who support this channel, mike and I, that we are able to do things like this and Give it back, give it back, whatever, tell it to guys like Bill who have helped us a lot in life, so yeah, what else can you say about that?
We have some additional footage at the end. I'm going. Get the tires on the four-wheeler all painted and ventilated, throw them on the four-wheeler and go for a quick ride through the woods, so you'll have a little extra footage you can watch if you want, but stop doing it, now this. To you guys, as always, thanks for watching on the next one, so it was a two piece package. This was the second part. This is the side that will actually attach to the cube and then obviously these black coated pieces are the ones that attach. to the loader arms and here's the way it fits on the tractor it's going to go there this part is going to go here I'm not 100 sure how you're going to end up doing it Neal if you're going to end up cutting this bracket out and then putting that bracket in here just welding that in I don't know 100% how was he going to do it to be honest all I know is he already did it with his tractor and it seems to work great.
He offered to do all the fabulous work, I'll meet him halfway between here and where he lives, even though we live in the same state, I think we're still about six hours apart and then I offered to drive back when it's all over, Help me. Turn it back on and everything, reconnect the tractor and help me out on the property for a day with some random projects so I'm really excited about that so if you guys don't have to watch his channel you should go check it out. and I will surely let you know every time this project appears on your channel so you don't miss it.
I am very excited about the opportunity. I have said it over and over again. Well, put it on a t-shirt, the two best things about YouTube, the people you meet and the opportunities it gives you, you just can't

beat

it, so here's some bonus material, as I mentioned before, it rained on us that day,So I thought well, I'm going to make the best of it. I have new rubber for the tires on our four-wheeler. We have an older Honda 250 that is actually Chelsea's four-wheeler from high school that we have been fixing up and testing. to get going too and pretty much the last thing we need to do is just put some new rubber on there and we're going to paint those tires.
I don't paint the wheels in this video, but I will show you some photos of how they turned out. at Dirt Perfect Shop and has this little tire changer. Well, listen, I know it's supposed to be mounted on something. You can see the C channel at the bottom of the mounting holes, but this is one of those port loading tools that you buy for a one time job, I think he got it for some lawnmower tires, maybe to make some tires lawn mower with it and that's all he did with it and I told him I was changing the tires.
He said, well, come try this, so we went there and tried it. It was a struggle, we struggled, it was definitely better with nothing and I certainly appreciate that he let me use it and use the store to do it and the help from him, which you'll see in a moment, we're going to change. to a time lapse where I enter and exit logger wade enters and exits mike enters now listen, it's funny, I've made semi tires, I've made auto tires and I'm telling you, four-wheel tires, by far, look at His four-wheel tires wheels have been by far the most difficult tires I have ever had to change.
I don't know if it's just the size or the type of rubber or what but it was a battle and you're about to watch him do it yeah oh my god that's all everyone says thank you michael white darren jennings , you.
