Mar 16, 2024
- Just, wham, it burst into flames. Is this happening? And she would check it again. Yes, it is happening. Hello everyone, I'm Steve-O, star of the upcoming movie "Jackass Forever." Yes friend. Now let's get into a variety of psychedelic experiences, which I'm actually quite proud of. The first time I really

trip

ped, I was a junior in high school, I had just attended my first Grateful Dead concert, and I took my first really powerful dose of LSD. It was after the concert, when I returned home, that I really started to notice that things were getting a little crazy.

I had school the next morning, so I wanted to go to sleep. As I was trying to fall asleep, I realized that I was actually being mindful so as not to disturb the other me, who was in front of me, or the other me, who was behind me. And if you're having trouble following me, what I'm telling you is that there were literally three of us in the same bed. And I was in the middle, being careful not to disturb either of the other two. This was the most amazing experience I had ever had in my life.

More Interesting Facts About,

I remember it so fondly it's incredible. It was so special that I didn't really mind standing there perfectly still and silent. I think the other two fell asleep first. (laughs) I dropped

acid

hundreds of times trying to recreate that experience and unfortunately it never happened. So if you're thinking about taking

acid

to try to enjoy being three people at the same time, let me assure you that it can only happen once and it was intense. Not as intense as the bag of

ketamine

I did in 2006. Around the time "Jackass Number Two" came out. Ketamine is a dissociative drug.

Everything goes out the window. This

ketamine

was in powder form. My experience with that bag actually lasted two days straight. The first night I was lying in the bathtub. My feet were about 30 feet away. Like something like "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas." This is embarrassing, but the thought I had was, "Dude, Jim Morrison has nothing on me." But it was the next day, when I was trying to take care of some business, I had a lawsuit going on, and as he was gifting me this endless bag of ketamine, out of nowhere, the entire hotel room I was in, just started free-falling. .

And I couldn't believe this, man. I was like, "Wow!" I looked up and what I saw was that it looked like an elevator shaft, into which the hotel room fell. I mean, dude, that's just one of the types of things ketamine is good for. (Laughs) It's not lost on me that that might make ketamine sound attractive. But let me also tell you that there was a moment during my heavy ketamine use when the thought popped into my head: "What if I couldn't breathe?" Imagine having the physical experience that you can't breathe, and that idea took on a life that really bothers me to this day.
I wouldn't wish that on anyone, man. Not just anyone. If I'm honest, these experiences I just told you about were somewhat unique, but when I got to the point where I was doing

cocaine

for days on end, while inhaling nitrous oxide, the best I could was to inhale nitrous oxide excluding air. And because it is a garbage, chemical, disgusting way to erode these barriers, we open ourselves to a very low level of frequency, which I would classify as demons. Like one moment I was in my big swivel office chair, this whole chair I was in just burst into flames.
He was sitting on a throne of fire. Is this happening? And I would check it again. Yes, it is happening. I thought, "Man, I'm really killing myself with all this." Yeah, there's no longevity in what I'm doing. And then I remember thinking, "Oh, I don't care if I die." And I leaned in to inhale that line. Something about having that thought didn't sit right with some spiritual entity because when I leaned over, that swivel chair I was in spun with the force of a mechanical bull, hiss. And the message was very clear to me. Think again, it is very important that you do not die.
And it was like he was an angel. And then when I ended up in rehab and they were talking about how I needed a higher power and what am I going to pray to? What made that chair turn is what I prayed to. It is my higher power. I think few people have had the kind of experiences I've had, but even fewer have managed to pull through, survive, and become healthy versions of themselves. So I wouldn't really roll the dice on the odds of having my experiences and then surviving them and having a good life, because I beat some serious odds, man.
