I have something very special at Whimsy planned for that area. Thank you all so much for all the wonderful comments and likes and we are doing very well here with the algorithm, let's keep it up, with that being said, let's get started, we appreciate it, okay, as you can see, the ceiling is glowing, the walls are shining. I still have the green tape on the door window because I'm working on the opposite side and that will actually be next week. I have all the cafe curtains drawn. It's a cloudy day and it actually took me two days to record this and the first part. from the video it was just that the son didn't want to come out and say hello, but as you can see the window is completely finished, I did all the touch ups around the door and around the window because it was all that white caulking that I just didn't share how I used three paints different ones to make everything match the stone because that white really had to go and then it was also around the window okay real quick here's a treasure I found at Goodwill.

More Interesting Facts About,

spring decorating marathon final reveal french country decorating with a vintage inspired style...

The price was better, but I didn't even care because I love the feet on this tray and I'm only going to clean it briefly. I'm not going to clean it at Christmas because during the year I've already said this before. I like my silver to be a little tarnished. On one hand, I apologize for my recording. I have no idea what happened here, but we'll get through it. I have touched up one side and not the other. Again, I'm not looking for the perfect cleanse right now. I just want a fresh clean since it's a new piece so I'm just giving it a really good scrubbing, it's a silver cleaner.

I thought I did share the front of the bottle, my apologies. Now I've seen videos here on YouTube where they actually play silver inside a pot and I don't know what else they put in it other than aluminum foil or something and it does a really good job, um, really you know, until the end. details this rag, it's just all the handkerchiefs, they're very dirty and just when you wipe the silver and you see all the black on the handkerchief, it's like, oh, okay, that's going to come up again here in the video.

decorating

it but now I'm going to move on to the table, it's screaming, it needs conditioning.

I like to use the old English and I'll use the light colored one and the left side is already finished. This is what you really want. I know it just brings life back to the wood. I put a generous amount on and really let the wood absorb all this oil. Now I'll use a blue towel. I usually have white cotton cloths that I use. use, but only because the towels were useful for cleaning the silver, I'm going to go ahead and use one of these blue towels and give it a good um, just work the oil really well on the wood, get it out. of the wall and what a difference, right, old English, it's great for restoring color or even covering scratches.
I am very glad that my mother taught me, she taught me how to clean, she taught all of us girls to clean from a very early age. Importantly, it looks much better and then at the bottom it has the perfect fairy tale look and feel, you know twisted wood. Now this piece was purchased at Home Goods and I think I paid 125 or maybe it was 99. I just don't remember it happening a while ago, but it's the perfect piece for that extravagant fairy tale decor, and I set up two of my chairs which I also bought at Home Goods next to the table and I took the table out and moved it away from the wall I again, it's going to be completely different here in the sunroom, so the Home Goods table and chairs and it was a few years ago the door.
I'm not too worried about the chair blocking it, I just have to get the chair out. the way to open the door is in my house and is linked to my description box below this is in my amazon store this is a martini table. I love putting them on my trees and I'm also going to use it in the corner today because I only have a small area there so this will fit perfectly, they don't take up too much space so I put it back in the corner and now I'm going to put my lamp potted, now I know I've been saying I'm going to do a tutorial on how to do this and I'm just going to explain it briefly and maybe one day we can do it.
Basically you are building your own lamp, you get a lamp base and put it on. To secure it in the pot I used a heavy duty foam and then you have a cable, a drill and a special bit to drill into the crock pot so you don't break it and then just push the cable in. I love this old

vintage

shade, now you can actually make it come out of, you know, on top of the pot. I just wanted a cleaner look and then the greenery. Oh, I don't know if this was Hobby Lobby or Michael's upstairs and it fits perfectly there in the corner.
I love that perfect little pop of black and the fact that it's in a pot is perfect for the inside of the sunroom. That's fine thanks. Here are a couple of pillows. Many of you have already seen it. I demo these and bought them at the home store. One could let one sit or just place it when one is ready to sit and the silver tray is back on the table and I'm just gone. it's like that for now we're going to go back, I really want to put all the furniture up because I have no idea how I'm going, I mean we're just going to go with this, I have no idea what it's like I'm going to see how it works or even work.
I just knew I wanted something different on a foreign table here that actually needs to be conditioned as well, so I'm going to make sure to put some old English on top of this table and then apply it. and it's worked really well look how dangerous that pot is all leaning to one side when I decorate it I can really get dangerous I just want to get to it put it in its place and I'm being a little careless right now but anyway After putting it on the old Englishman, I always take another towel and clean it really well and I'm going to put the long table on this back wall, but I usually have the loveseat in front of it.
I'm not going to do that like that. time, okay, here's the table, a very heavy table, I think it's like um, I think it's some kind of mahogany wood, um, because it's very, very heavy, my husband has his tree on top of it, um , I let him know that I would like it. base, um, the tray is going to be different, so that's going to change here soon and the yellow just shines and as we add the different textures and colors, it's just beautiful. I'm in love with my sunroom, okay I just put it up. Two towers from Pier One Imports, bought many years ago, they are metal and have quite a bit of decoration inside the metal, an aged bronze color, so it works well and then on top, I normally put my fruit here, but I decided I on a candle How long has it been and I've been telling myself and you've all heard me in my videos I'm going to get a candle there's all the fruit I'm going to get a candle and I decided to forget about it It's not happening so I decided to put some of my potted plants and here's one where there are just nuts and I usually put a candle in there and I love that look too but for some reason I don't.
I do not know what is the problem. I just haven't bought a big candle. I like this look although it is different and has a whimsical feel just how I love it. It's quite breezy outside today and I placed the pot. on the other side and as you can see my Ivy, my plants just didn't do well this winter, but that's okay, I went ahead, I put Captain Jacks on it, and you know, I refreshed myself with a little bit of soil and all these little sprouts are coming back. and before we know it, everything will be very thick again, so this piece was actually purchased at Target.
I love gold. I love the glass tubes, perfect for propagating my Swedish ivy plant. I bought two of them, so we'll do that for now. Come visit this area again and I'll share with you how I propagate my Swedish ivy plant and I've actually been thinking about starting to sell some so let me know what you think about it if you might be interested in purchasing it, you know? just a little a little little plug for you of a Swedish ivy plant in this room just shines. I love it here is my ladder that I bought many years ago at a flea market in California a couple of my antique baskets my artwork that was purchased now at Hansen furniture I know this bothers some of you with the black chain and the white hook, now the bottom piece of the hook I painted when I was painting the ceiling and I'll paint those hooks yellow, but the chain, um no, I won't paint that if anything I'll buy a gold chain here's a closeup of the intravenously, it grows very fast and I just want to have it all over my house, it is such an easy to care for plant and such a beautiful green, and some pieces are going to disappear. right there and some of those tubes today here are some of my dried hydrangeas from my garden last year and here we have them we have a name

reveal

ed today and his name is all Francisco sir Francisco and it's because I bought it in San Francisco so It seems about right Let his name be Francisco and I thank you all very much.
There are always so many great answers. You all just come and leave all these wonderful names and some of them really make me laugh, so thank you. So much for always being a part of that, okay, so I put my loveseat under the artwork and I have my ottoman in front of it now up here. I'm looking for some brown wicker curtains that I can raise and then they can also go down but only halfway and then I can close the cafe curtains and I need to buy them sooner rather than later if any of you know where for a reasonable price.
Okay, I don't want anything personalized if you know somewhere. I can look, please leave me a message, I would really appreciate it because I haven't even started looking yet, but as you can see, the sun comes in and it will fade away. This sofa on the ottoman. I know someone asked about me. artwork if it has been faded by the sun and that hasn't, it has always had a faded look, but I can't stress how much I need to raise those blinds. This is a very heavy chenille throw that I purchased many years ago when I had the ottoman it is custom made with Hansen's Furniture in Modesto California so if any of you are in the Central Valley area look for Hansen's Furniture because they have beautiful furniture there and for those of you who love putting together those custom pieces, you are right there to help, these were also custom made by Hansen's and this is a Dogtooth print on a very heavy chenille type upholstery fabric, so they have many fabrics to choose from different fringes that you can choose from, so I have two of them.
Now I'm not going to keep all these pillows that I'm displaying here on the loveseat. I really wanted you to see them all together today and here is another print I chose. I like the yellow buttercream background. a nice warm yellow so I put both up now I see the sun coming out now it's really coming in through the side windows and this is just beautiful it's like a cranberry chenille with the gold tones and again these were all made at Hansen's Furniture in the Central Valley of California, okay, so I removed the two Hound Tooth pillows and left the three up there for now with the ottoman.
I'll just keep them here for now. I'm not going to put in any

spring

pillows, um. You know, like most people, you know the bunnies and I just don't want to do that here right now. I really wanted these, um, just for the moment, to be foreign again, to bring in all these colors now, however you can. Look at the Swedish ivy, the big one keeps moving all over the room while I'm decorating. I decided to put the green chest right here on the wall. I never remember it was Craigslist or Facebook Marketplace. I bought it many years ago.
Back when we were in the New Jersey area and I think I paid 125 for this piece, it has beautiful details and aged details on this chest. I love green, it's hard to find furniture in shades of green and this one had the perfect weathering that I couldn't. I think the party wanted to get rid of this piece, but we're going to have fun, we're going to have fun decorating this today and then up here, okay, so I have a couple of clay candle holders and then this is like an old drawer that has some very rustic hardware on the outside and it has aged and I thought I wanted to use this today but you will see this changed it was actually removed because there is something else I want to use. that piece over there, yeah, I'm at this point, I'm already so tired, I mean, I'm here alone and I'm a one-woman show, okay, and I've been pushing all this furniture around and just making it all work because I'm very excited to

final

ly be able to decorate this sunroom.
I had no idea this was going to be the project it turned out to be, but I'm so glad I started this and the difference is when you add a few new layers of paint andwe'll continue next week, we have another decorating tour, um with oh, don't you want to. To miss this one, you talk about gorgeous gold and pieces from France and oh, next week it's going to be pretty and an amazing goodwill find or what is it. Goodwill, no it wasn't, but it was a thrift store. Anyway, this. it's a buffet lamp that was with the drum shade that was purchased at Maryfield Garden and I just tied a sweet little Czech ribbon around the shade and it's the perfect place back there on the table because they are so thin that they don't take up much space and then if you notice on the left I added one of my blue and white pots that I recently bought at the booth, look again on Facebook Marketplace and then, um, the

vintage

basket that I just shared on my recent haul that I put up. that under the table is perfect, it brings it all together, you have the wood, the metal, the wicker and the ceramic, and you know the hardware, the old hardware in the basket, perfect, perfect, French

country

style

and I can even store articles. inside that basket and now look, here's a surprise because I've only shared one bracket.
I actually had two, so I decided to put a pair of blue and white ones in front of my tall pillars because why only have one? Let's layer it more, it's better for this girl anyway okay A couple of my books um, this one is French

style

and I'm going to share the isbns on the back. I'm going to see if I can find a couple of these and if I can I'll link them in my description box because the ones I'm showing are fabulous, you talk about inspiration, I mean look at all this, this ancient ironstone here, ironstone Beautiful vintage iron, very inspiring, there's the ISBN if you want to take a snapshot of that.
I know many of you. They're on your TV, so freeze the frame and write it down, yeah, but I put it inside my gold tray. A romance with the house. This is fabulous Bunny Williams. um, oh boy, this is packed and full of oh god, there's too much to mention. So many wonderful ideas. I love looking at books and because I see something and then my brain takes it, you know, I'm left-handed, takes it to a completely different place and, um, I get wonderful ideas. Here's the ISBN on the back of this one, but. Again I'll look them up and link them if I can.
Okay, here's a treasure. I shared this in my previous video. This was made by Robin King Designs. I'll link it in my description box and I'll be sure to indicate the little blue fly perfect little whimsical polka dots at the top, um, but again, make sure to put the little blue fly, not just the little blue fly, in the code box of coupon and she will be sure to give you a kind discount, she signs them and puts the year and I love the forget-me-not knots on these baskets, a perfect complement to the blue and white.
They all have the aged finish and gold acrylic paint outline, so again be sure to say the little blue fly to write it in the coupon box for a special discount. and many of you have already been ordering from Robin and let me say, first of all, thank you, thank you very much, um and you won't be disappointed either when, especially when you get your first one, you're like oh. then start something you want to keep adding directly to the collection. Her work is beautifully handcrafted. Well, here we go back to the drawer in the stands and I just have another idea for this drawer.
You just have to go and let's change it with something very charming and French. French

country

and this is my two level position now. I hope I remember to link this if I forget. Simply do a two-level French country search. tray and will appear. I promise you. French country, put wire on it. French wire two-tier tray. It will appear, but I hope I remember it and get this in the description box. I have had this for many years and it is a wonderful piece to work with, you can hang so many different things from all the scalloped wires and again it is just beautiful on so many levels.
I repotted my Swedish ivy. This has just begun. Ivy. I have just started. Last year many of you saw me put it in the ground and maybe it was just a little twig about four inches, maybe now look, it really grows quickly and the blue and white pot I bought at Maryfield Garden and here they are. the little bits that unfortunately broke off because they were in the kitchen have been a little neglected, so you just put them in and these little tubes and if you don't have one of these, even if you just have a glass and you just pour some water, look at all those little particles there, I don't know why, but when I was pouring and seeing all these little particles I thought, wow, we certainly have all kinds of different microorganisms here on Earth and we have, you know, we've earned the right to be able to live here , that's for sure, but now all these vines will start to grow.
I'll be able to start new plants now that it's night. It was a night shoot and I couldn't continue decorating last time. night because I just couldn't get the lighting in here so here I am again today this morning starting all over again um and this is a rug that was purchased at Bed Bath many many years ago beautiful heavy upholstery Fabrics chenilles love rich Reds and It goes perfectly with the cranberry ottoman and I have a couple more books I'd like to share. This is a place I can call home. Fabulous timeless southern charm, fabulously read and searched for inspiration.
I could never have enough books that I love to read. I love to write and this one, oh everyone needs this one, Victoria Living with Blue and White and again go to my description box and I'll have some of these books linked with beautiful blue and white decor throughout this book. Okay, now let's go. to decorate this little corner right here, this little corner next to the pot and we're going to start with this vintage metal tray that has the perfect antiqued gold all over it, even a little bit of moss right there, how about that? anyway, I bought this when I was in North Carolina and I have always loved working with this piece and here is some of my vintage transfer clothing.
I love the colors, the purples and greens and the touches of gold, and every teacup saucer should have what tea. cup and we are about to see that in a moment here is the mark on the back of the saucer and here is the sweet little footed tea cup so dainty now these have glitter I don't drink from these These are strictly for display and enjoyment um and that's it, but now I have something very special that I would like to share so this is a nest, but it's not just any nest, it's a magical nest because the birds made it, as you can see, with golden golden gray. and gray hair so all that wisdom that we are in gray hair made something magical start to grow inside this nest it started with just a little bit and I mean a little golden egg the size of a bean and the individual that lays this egg she is just a little bit shy at the moment, she will appear in the next video, but the golden eggs turn into these beautiful decorative eggs and you never know what they will look like, so everyone comes from all over the world just to get one of these little ones golden eggs and watch them grow into the beautiful egg they will become.
Now, isn't that so wonderful? You start with a little golden egg and it turns into something beautiful like this and I'll introduce you to the person who lays these. little golden eggs that grow into these great works of art, that's something very special. Those aren't eggs you can go buy at the store and I placed them under the hood. The foreign birds were bought from the home store and They will be sitting and carefully watching the eggs as they grow, but while watching the eggs grow, the birds love to sing, so I thought I would place this old music book on the table, as you can see, many sweet children have had this. book before I loved when they signed their names inside the book, but now there are many songs here in the book that the birds can now sing while looking at the eggs, now here on the right I'm going to add something very simple like You can see I also have tubes spread in the back, these books.
I bought them second hand and all three were put together like this when I bought them. I love the browns and golds and the other one just came out raw. spine and you can see the old pieces of paper and there's nothing like having leather bound books with a hint of dust, that's just a different kind of scent and I have a vintage hurricane lamp here that I placed a blue taper candle and another bird to help watch the eggs grow so those of you who are new, I have quite a few newbies here and I thank you all so much for subscribing to the little blue fly.
Can't. I'll even tell you how much joy this brings to my heart. You all come to visit me. They know. I watch these subscribers grow and I'm gone. Oh my gosh this is a lot and I thank you all so much for taking your time to come and visit me as I have all these different adventures but now this box is called a quiet box and a quiet box is something that we feel with a lot of different elements that We love when we have time to ourselves, quiet time when we don't have to. Work now, these are very old, very old puzzles and the puzzle pieces are quite thick, but you feel your silent basket with things you love to do when you don't have to, you don't have to cook or I know you don't have anything to clean anymore or nothing to do for anyone.
You can just sit there and have a quiet moment. The sad thing is that I haven't even been able to journal lately because so much has been going on, but I remember that I do have one. something very special, so I ran out to go find my son Raymond, he is my second son and, my firstborn, Anthony, he has taken citizenship in heaven and I have shared that before, but this right here, my Raymond, he just gave me this and says mom, I want to give you this because I want you to remember that you are a wonderful mom and that I love you.
How about I put that heart right here in the journal? Things like this that everyone does to you. Feel so good, live life and live hard and do everything with kindness and love, so we'll save this for now and someday I'll journal. This is a treasure. I bought it many years ago at a craft fair in California. It's a kaleidoscope and I always love kaleidoscopes since I was a child and how creative it is. He actually used one of these glow sticks at the end and made this wooden egg and let's see if we can look inside and get it as close as possible.
You can go? This is just a magnificent piece of art here. I never get tired of this piece and then my finger is a little hard right now because I'm holding it in too much, we'll figure that out here. in a moment, but what you do as you look through the eyepiece, you turn the kaleidoscope tube, you look, you're lifting my finger a little bit here, so I'm going to position myself a little bit better, but this is a p and then when it goes down, it just , just flip it over and let the fun start again, so look through the little magic eyepiece and everything starts falling and just twist the stick to look at the different colors in the kaleidoscope treasures.
I love Treasures, so once again, quiet boxes are a wonderful thing and everyone should have at least one in their house at the bottom. I have all my

spring

magazines and this one here the kids think they're my glasses and guess what they're not. I'm a place to put my favorite Ghirardelli chocolate, milk chocolate and caramel. Anyone who knows Bev knows that she loves her chocolate, just little treats for when you're reading magazines, journaling, doing a puzzle or looking through a kaleidoscope. I can't suggest you. enough for everyone to make one of these boxes of things that touch you, you know and now I love my adventures and I love following my Travels and my kids know it so they bought me this and this is also in my Amazon store. sometimes I like to go very far so they said mom, we decided to buy you a compass so you can always find your way back home.
I mean, how magical is that, so here's my compass that I always have on hand for when I go out. On my adventures I will surely always be able to find my way back home. What a wonderful and wonderful treasure is here. I love the buckle so again it will be in my description box under my Amazon store. Thank you and these are my treasures. Fun treasures in my quiet box and the basket I bought at Pottery Barn a while ago. Okay, now onto the two-tier stand I added on this antique lamp I recently found at a garage sale.
Actually, I don't remember what it was, but I know it was very, it was just dollars and not many, so I decided to put the lamp in the back and here we have, I mean, I love this, I love this Canadian goose that has chamomile, some say chamomile, some say. chamomile um behind and this is another Robin King, it will be posted in my description box and again don't forget to put the little blue fly, it doesn't matter if it's uppercase letters, lowercase letters, it's not sensitive to that, just the coupon. The code mustBe the little blue fly for a kind discount and I couldn't be more in love with this piece.
You can get the background. This is a soft green, a soft Salvia type, and she also offers a blue one. Both are equally beautiful. In fact I would love to have them both aged. crackle goodness in all of her pieces to give it that vintage look and feel and then on the back she always signs them and the year puts on them the year they were made, thank you my Special goose, I love it so front and center and the lamp in the back I actually shared a photo on um. I think it was on Facebook last night.
Brightness is everything here when the sun goes down, so I bought two of these. I think I already shared them before they were ancient finds. and I thought they would really warm things up here in the booth because we have ceramic, we have wood in metal and I thought we need some wicker we need some wicker to warm things up and give it that wonderful now here. I'm going to go to the French or English country both ways and you'll see how that all tied everything together and I like to buy real flowers and soon I'll be able to cut some from my garden and I'll be able to put them inside. these containers on a table somewhere, but for now they will just sit there and add warmth to this arrangement and my Swedish ivy will start standing here soon because it will be happy out here, getting the sun, now let's go I'm going to go back to this corner and decorate a little.
I decided to put my houndstooth pillows here. They are filled with feathers, so when you sit on them, they really go down. It's like a beanbag, you know, very soft. uh feeling when you sit down again and again I don't care that the chair is here in front of the door because I won't open the door thank you very much um more I'll just open my windows since that bat came into our house um, that didn't go over very well, sit very well with us so you know uh no um adorable stay closed anyway here's another piece from Robin King. um I can't use it enough in my house because I love it so much so yeah. just share his tissue box now this is a plaque they can put on the wall or you can put them on a stand.
This one will go up on a stand today and will pair beautifully with all my other blues and whites. on the tray I placed a bunny, so I actually have a rabbit and the sheep and I decided to use the rabbit just because on the right I have something whimsical that will appear next week. share this fabulous teapot on my tour and I thought you know what Bev, here on this table, you need a teapot, you need to put that teapot here so that you're more likely to use this piece because it's going to be front and center. but make sure to add a couple of bread plates so you can put your little sweets on them while you drink your tea, so I'll have two bread plates.
I will finish the teapot with two saucers and two cups. This is the perfect room. to have some tea, I don't know why I was just pointing at that door, there was a reason, but next door we'll continue here because I'm working on the other side of the window this week, but make sure you stop by. Me next week because we have one. You know me during the spring. It's about whims, stories and adventures. I promise you won't be disappointed. Foreign Candlelight thank you, thank you, thank you Foreign Foreign Foreign Foreign.
