top or bottom you just take all that off and then you replace it and then you don't have extra surface for the cams to travel on now Toyota has cam towers but it's another source of leaks so yeah if you throw out a cam or a cam cover or a valve cover or something on a Toyota you can replace it without replacing the head but you still have another source of leaks and they leak especially on 57 Tundras and Seoa either way it was cool to take it down.
