this locally grown carrot farm tray and then to fill it I used some fabric carrots that also came from the dollar target place and how cute and fun these little stand up cutouts are for the book. I printed out very similar images to the ones I made for decoupage, but I made them on cardstock and then cut out a piece of foam board from Dollar Tree, used double stick tape to place my characters, and then used an X-Acto knife to trace around the outside to make them essentially firmer and make it so they sit on my tiered tray.

You can also do this on a large scale. I made these for Finn's birthday with some Dino Ranch characters, so if you want to see how to make them, I'll also link them in case you're having a Peter Rabbit birthday party. I bought a variety of different colors of carrots from Michael's and then had fun starting to arrange things. I added some Easter grass in these openings just to give it some texture and I made my A variety of sizes of little wooden eggs on my tag and then also these other little trinkets on the outside are mostly from the dollar target place .

Now I knew I needed a fake book, but I wasn't quite sure how to do it and then it occurred to me. In me I took some cut out of those little characters and printed out this fun little printable that I will provide in my blog folder and cut a piece of foam board the size of the cover and then adhered it with some double stick tape on the front and then I used a little more double stick tape to adhere it to the back, basically you are just wrapping this cover around the piece of foam board to give it a fake book.

Now I made the original cover and it's also a more fun Whimsy type so I have two different options and I have one on my tiered tray and then I also have another one placed on the other side of the table. I haven't

ated for Peter Rabbit before, but I think this is it. adorable and you might also like, I said, easily wear them for a Peter Rabbit party or baptism. I know the theme has been really popular lately so there are tons of different options and hopefully for everyone who requested them you'll love these Peter Rabbit DIYs I have.

One more that comes later in the video, another one of the new Dollar Tree blanks in that Spring Farmhouse line, was this sign and I came up with a cute idea for my mother-in-law so I decided to measure the top and I cut seven inches. wide piece and just a fun font that says "Grammy Honey Bunnies" because my mother-in-law has three grandchildren so I cut out their names in a variety of pastel colors and the pink I used for is hard to see on the camera. My niece's name, but in person you can see it much better.
I used paper transfer tape to apply the Grammy honey bunnies to the top and then used a super glue gel from Dollar Tree to attach these cute bunnies with little tails, now two of them. It stuck together very well with the super glue, one was slightly warped which is what you get with a multi-pack of small Dollar Tree cutouts, so I had to reattach it with a little hot glue, but once I added the names remained like this. How nice, Benfen, Delia and my mother-in-law haven't been to see Finn since I did this side, so if you're watching this now you know what to expect next time you come to our house.
It will also make a great little gift for a hostess who has grandchildren hosting Easter. Now I really wanted to do a layered garland style on our mantel because it's been a minute since I made a mantel in the new house. I really just did Christmas and so I decided to grab these dyeable eggs and I grabbed a few extra packets because we're going to dye these, they're a lot cheaper than a dozen real eggs and they dye pretty easily. I'm taking my drill bit and I'm drilling a hole in both the top and the bottom so that it basically becomes some sort of wooden bead.
Then I'll take my long down needle that we used earlier and make three regular sized wooden beads. I'm not sure exactly. what size is it but I usually buy a multi pack on Amazon or I buy them at Michael's so I'll link them under my favorites and I just made three beads in one egg three beads in one egg and ended up needing about one and a half pack of these to make this length and then hang them because I have a lot of questions about that too. I create a loop at one end and wrap it into these little command strips.
I like the ones with movable hooks. it just gives you a little more forgiveness when you're

decor

ating and then I just hung it on my mantel. Now this is layer number one so I decided to add a printable garland to this one so I went into Canva and created one that says happy Easter and the good thing is I have happy Easter. I also added an A so you can opt for Happy Easter, there's an exclamation point if you choose to use it and then there are also some really pretty

spring

flowers so if you don't want to do the Peter Rabbit version you can choose Choose Your Own Adventure once you have everything you need cut out we'll punch some holes in it and this is just a hole punch from dollar tree there's nothing crazy you can find. in your office supplies section and I'm going to take the first one, line it up with the others and make points so the holes are straight.
If your holes get a little crooked it will hang a little crooked so you just want to make sure your holes are in the same place and I make two holes on each side because it helps things lay flat once you have them hanging , I'm making sure a lot of my jute twine goes behind the banner instead of in front here just so it looks better when it's hanging once it was all put together I added the first layer which I made happy and two photos and then I made a completely separate piece of jute twine for Easter in two photos and then for the mantle itself I want it a little more symmetrical versus asymmetrical like I like it, but I think it turned out really cute.
I added some bunnies from the target dollar spot as well as some carrots from Walmart and Dollar Tree, the Dollar Tree ones I finally found and they are super cute, so the big ones on the bottom I'm making in this stack of three are from Walmart , it's 298, the container in the center where the carrots are is a magnolia from Target, a little crack I'll link for you and then as far as space, especially when you have two layers of a garland, tie one side and then tie the other so that the jute twine is where you want it and then through the holes and the way we place it.
I can go ahead and slide those letters back and forth, always shop at your house because look, they both say Christmas stuff on the back. I just turn them around, they look like little garden containers and literally no one would notice. I'm using my little ones to cover up where I'm attaching the garlands and I think it turned out really cute and that's how it all turned out. I like different textures, different colors. I like that Peter Rabbit is incorporated here. We have some really nice ones. watercolors and was able to use the bodies I bought at Target Dollar Spot this year.
I thought they were really cute, but I wasn't really sure what I was going to do, so now I love pops of orange every year too. During these major holidays, I love finding fun things for you to make for your kids and grandkids, so here's an idea: You can grab these cute bunny containers and they fit great into little snack packs, so They could also be great for preschool or to send to school as a little Easter gift, sort of like a May Day basket, but early I like to cut the top off a little more so the ears separate when you go to tie it and then I just reserved some of those carrots we made earlier for the garlands.
I added Finn's name with some black vinyl and it was very easy. This is great fun if you want to make an alternative to an Easter basket, so this is a great way to give a gift. there's not a ton of waste there's not a ton of stuff that you have to take home and find a place for. They would also go great with some little Hot Wheels cars, so it's a fun idea to let people know you're thinking of them without giving them a bunch of stuff or a full basket, same with these cute little carrot baskets from Dollar Tree, this time I used some heat transfer vinyl.
I cut out the three names of Finn Ben and Delia, that's my niece and nephew and this. It would be something I could give them, they would have something fun there, whether it's a snack, a Hot Wheels car, or glow sticks, just a couple different

ideas

, it's really cute and it has a theme, but it's not a bunch of your aunt uncle's stuff. . whatever they have to find a place for this is a fun idea to let them know you're thinking of them without a ton of extra waste and finally I want to share with you what I'm putting in a Finn's Easter basket this anus.
I know many of you have children and grandchildren your age, so I put it together so I can hide it and then share it with you, so my first tip has nothing to do with what's in it, but what essentially goes underneath. I like to fill the bottom with extra shopping bags or you can pack newspaper and then you can put a tissue on top. This really helps because then you're not trying to fill a huge basket with Easter. grass that the child will probably throw away anyway, so make yourself a little pillow every now and then and then you can add some Easter grass.
I like playing the role because, in my opinion, it aspires better if you do it. I have it everywhere, but you are using much less Easter grass than you would if you filled the entire basket. So I bought her this mess free coloring with Bluey because we love Bluey in our house. I also bought him a Bluey Easter book. like a honey bunny book and then if you give a mouse an Easter cookie book I always make books and I always do some fun outdoor activities for Easter like this eight pack of small egg chalk pieces by just a dollar 25 at Dollar Tree.
I bought some little kitty dough that's like Play-Doh with the baby sharks, some Hot Wheels and then this really adorable little flag that just adds a little pizzazz because we love dinosaurs this year. I also bought some cute little dinosaur eggs from Dollar Tree. just to fill it up and make it look really full and it was ready to go. My big thing is not to stress you out with things like this. I like to put things together slowly, especially now if you're looking at this in about three weeks. Make sure you only buy a couple of these smaller things when you go shopping, so it will be much less stressful when it comes time for the holidays.
You can also distribute them if you don't want to have to buy them all. that in one go, so a couple of tips, a couple of things I've learned and let me know what you like to put in Easter baskets or as Easter gifts below. I'd love to hear it. That will be useful for this video. Let me know in Comment what your favorite project was and also be sure to tag me if you recreate my projects.
