4 Dollar Tree Valentine's DIYs | 4 High End 2021 Valentine's Day Hacks + Spring Home Decor Ideas

Hello guys and welcome back to Bernie and Crabs. Hey, if you're new, I have another V-Day DIY for you and of course I'm using supplies from Dollar Tree, but you guys know I don't like long intros so let's get started. So, as you've seen, I'm using two of those

love signs and I'm going to give them both two coats of ivory chalk paint, so this heart here is actually a DIY puzzle heart from last year. I'll link it in the description, but I'm just going to measure it and then glue it right in the middle of this sign.

By the way, I don't know where the footage went, but somehow it disappeared, but I glued two of those long signs together, but that's okay, I'm using an antique folk art tea rose and I'm just going to paint "be my um" on those wooden

letters and now I'm going to use those hearts that are facing the sun, I'm just going to glue them on the opposite corners of our sun, so if you remember, last month I bought this beautiful pearl and diamond ornament from imitation and I'm obsessed with it, so I had to incorporate it into this somehow.

In this DIY, I was going to add a heart to each corner like I did with the metal hearts, but I decided to go ahead and put together the pieces I had already cut, so that's part of the reason I had to put it together like this. because I had already cut it out and I didn't want to waste it, but I just added it to that puzzle sign and it really made the puzzle sign pop, so now I'm just going to add Valentine's using one of those metal ones. words you can get in a three-pack of the dollar tree under that heart, okay, if you're enjoying this video, go ahead and let me know in the comments, hell, if you're not enjoying it, go ahead and tell me.

Alright guys, I really wanted to incorporate some things I already had. My dollar tree doesn't really have anything available for v. -day so I had to use what I had anyway this xo heart is actually from a DIY from last year and I'll also link it in the description if it's not from the same video as the last part I showed you now. mixing medium gray and white for folk art, I'm going to paint these little arrows that I stenciled and if you didn't see my last video, I have a tip, a new technique derived from the transfer technique that you can do it and it's a way to print stencils and save money by not having to waste as much ink and keep using those same stencils over and over again, so watch that video.

I'll link it in the description and I'll put a card in the top corner for you guys, this is how our first DIY turned out. I added some lights, just wrapped them around the outside and inside of the heart and I really think this DIY turned out. It turned out so beautiful let me know what you think and let's move on to our second DIY so like I said I'm trying to use things that I have so I'm going to use these flowers and I'm just going to add a little bit of that antique or vintage tea rose and mix it with a little rose to brighten up that vintage tea rose a little.

I'm going to dry brush that paint and I think the gold and that vintage pink is so pretty. together I just can't even if I can find other gold flowers I'm definitely going to do this technique again because gold and pink are just beautiful together so these wooden flowers are not sponsored the way they are just from Another video that was sponsored but this DIY is also from a Christmas DIY and I just wanted to take this DIY and revamp it for Valentine's Day so I'm just adding some things, painting some things and changing some things. but I already had some wood flowers in there and now I'm just adding another type of wood flowers to these bases that are also solar wood flowers, but okay, I'll link to their website for you guys like me.

He said it's not sponsored, but in case you're interested, I'll link those things to you, so I wanted to change that ribbon, so I'm just going to use some of this ribbon that I bought for Christmas at Dollar Tree, but I thought it would be very nice to change up that buffalo check and add a touch of red to that wood base, so that's what I'm doing. I'm just going to add and do the same thing I did with the buffalo check just wrap it and add a bow, that's how our second DIY turned out. I think it turned out really pretty and I love the fact that I just had to add a few things and paint a couple things and I didn't really have to buy anything or well I didn't have to buy anything but look at those rose gold flowers, how beautiful are.

Now I placed one of the vases on a Christmas tray, so for our third DIY, you are I'm going to need another Christmas item and this love sign, so I'm going to start by painting the top of the house white to wicker, I think, and then I'll start mixing pink and white and gradually add more. I go and use my hairdryer to dry that because if you don't use your hairdryer you'll go crazy waiting for it to dry so you can continue painting more in the sun and I put that love sign up. and I didn't glue it down yet so I could keep taking it off and adding paint as I go and I had to because I didn't add two coats on top or as I was going I just had to keep going which ended up being okay because I can just play with it and add a brighter pink, add more white and just play with the color until I get it where I like it now if you can't tell I'm doing an ombre. effect and I think it turned out absolutely beautiful, I wish, however, I had made a less subtle change and more that way, the bottom could have been a brighter pink, but that's okay, it turned out really very pretty, I'm I'll link some apps that I have been using recently to earn some extra money and when you join using my link and my code you will get some extra points and earn some extra money so check them out at the end of my description now I'm going I glued on that low side and added a buffalo check hanger as well as a low check bow on that hanger and now I'm going to go in with a little more of those rhinestones and pearls. cut it out and just add it to the bottom of the love sign because I will be hanging the sign.

I have some cabinets that are on top of our island, I guess you would call it, and it's pretty

high

up there, so I wanted you. being able to see this pearl and rhinestone embellishment when you look at it so this was a very quick and very easy DIY and I hope you liked it. I have one more DIY for you, but how beautiful is this third DIY. Let me know in the comments which of these DIYs is your favorite. Next DIY I will restore another Christmas item. This was a triangular cardboard Christmas tree and I'm just going to add some hearts to this first if you want.

To see how I made this cardboard tree, take a look at the card at the top of the screen or I'll link it to the description that way, you won't have to stop watching this video and you can continue watching until the end. but I'm adding some of those sparkly hearts and I added smaller hearts once I got to the middle of the tree and then gradually added less once I got to the top and that was it for that one and then I did it. one more and I'm just going to add some buffalo plaid fabric that I bought at Walmart.

These are those little 97 cent ones, I think they're worth fifty dollars now, but those fat squares I think that's what they call them, but I'm going to start wrapping it like a gift and stick that fabric on it, so I'm going to use some of those hearts wooden one that I've previously stained and I'm going to use some of those little foam hearts and I'm just going to glue a foam heart on the wooden one and then I have one of those pink wooden hearts and I'm going to glue a couple more of those hearts of foam on that and I'll continue to do that with different colors and, um, different hearts.

Those are from packages I got from Dollar Tree and I'm going to make it to the bottom of the tree. Ok guys, this is how our third or fourth and final DIY turned out. Hope you like.
