I think I have 36 DIYs for you today, so a lot of these are old DIYs. It's just a big compilation of videos that I've done in the past up until recently, so you'll see some clips. of brie when I was really little, but anyway, let's jump to the first one.

I got these milk bottles from Dollar Tree and I'm painting them with Waverly Ivory Chalk Paint. I like to use a brush because I feel like it. get more complete coverage, like getting into all those cracks and everything, and I really like that technique for painting the jars, otherwise you can use spray paint if you want and then I'm just taking a damp paper towel, this one is the first time. I once did a wet wash on these jars and I really liked how it turned out, it was super chippy and I really like that better than having sandpaper marks and lines.

You can definitely go the sandpaper route too. I do that. all the time, um, but this was just something new and fun to try and I really liked the result. Then I just had this huge ball of yarn and decided to use it to hang my jars from a little frame I had. done in a different video but I went ahead and wrapped it around the edges and left a little bit sticking out of the side so I could use it to make a little bow on the top so this kind of frame I made a long time ago but just like stapling it and nailing it, some two by fours are those two by fours anyway, I painted them and distressed them, then I just stapled some chicken wire to the back, drilled some holes in the top and ran my ropes over the top and then I just tied a knot and tried to make them all the same length, they didn't come out perfectly uniform but that's okay with me because I think it gives it a rustic look but that's all I did for this one I think it turned out super super. nice, this is still one of my favorite diys i've ever done and it was from a long time ago, maybe like two years ago, i was near the beginning of my channel anyway, i really love this one and maybe one day i will.

Kind of similar to this again, since I sold it when we lived in our smaller house and had nowhere to put it, but anyway, yeah, one of my favorites. That being said, back to the DIYs, so for the next DIY my sister in law gave me this plaque, I think it may have been from Michael's because she really loves Michael's, but I'm really not sure where it came from. You can find pieces like this at Walmart Hobby Lobby. Michaels anywhere like that or you could even use a

sign, but I wanted to add a little

spring

wreath anyway. to this piece of wood, so I decided to use some nautical rope from Dollar Tree and a long time ago I saw Megan from Glue Guns and Roses use some wire on a piece of rope and just wrap it all the way around until it's the full length desired, that way you can shape it any way you want, so you could even make a heart wreath or something, but you just shape it and then you can add your flowers or whatever you want.

I once had my wire wrapped all the way around and I think I got this wire from a hobby lobby or somewhere you could use floral wire, something like that, this is just what I had on hand, I think it's for jewelry or something like that I'm really not sure, but I actually turned it the other way, I didn't even have to add glue, I don't think, but yeah, once I had it in a circle like I wanted, I added a bunch. lavender from Walmart and I think it turned out beautiful. I just hot glued it into a circle and this is still one of my favorite DIYs I've ever made.

It's so simple but so beautiful. Sometimes the easiest ones turn out to be the prettiest, so next I'm just going to do this wreath that was on our front door. I had this huge wreath-shaped vine from Hobby lobby. I think I put it up for sale years ago and just wrapped it in burlap ribbon and then started adding to it. different pieces and what I would do is just break this up for different seasons and make a new one because it's always fun to make a new wreath anyway so I saved this huge one for our front door and now I sold it when we were taking it down. um when it was like a fall theme, uh, but anyway, I might have to buy another big one like this because I really loved redoing this one for each season, but I just added some huge magnolia flowers from Walmart, they're super cheap and really pretty for

spring

in my opinion and I just added some lavender from Walmart.

It's only two dollars a bunch and there's plenty to choose from. I had a huge burlap ribbon that I already had in the middle, but I just made it. some burlap from Walmart and added a small cross in the middle that I had had for a long time and that my aunt gave me. It was made out of cactus, which I think, but anyway it's super, super easy to make and I think it turned out really pretty, but like I said, I love changing them up throughout the year and for different seasons, and it's really easy to do if you just add a little hot glue, it's very easy to rip it all off and start over, but I really like how this one turned out for spring.

The next DIY is to use a canvas from Dollar Tree. I just take my x-acto knife and go around the edges of the canvas and cut it if you want, you can go ahead and take out all the extra staples and stuff in there, but it's definitely not necessary if you know no one is going to see the back. I didn't worry about the staples, I just took out the part that anyone could see from. the front and then I always save those canvases so I can use them later on other projects, but I went ahead and painted this frame with my ivory chalk paint from Walmart and Waverly brand.

Next I had some chicken wire and I just went ahead and stapled it with my little gun stapler and it's super easy to use. I highly recommend getting one of those if you use them, if you really do a lot of crafting, they are super, super convenient and I really enjoy using them instead of trying to stick this chicken wire in there it would be very difficult since it's real chicken wire, but of anyway I have these cute little whimsical flowers from the hobby lobby. I have been using them for a long time, they come with so many in a bouquet and only get them when they are half price at Hobby lobby and they are super

affordable

for what you get so I think they have other colors too, even these ones, as such maybe a light pink or something, but I really like these white ones.

In the spring I just went ahead and cut as many as I wanted and kept it super light and airy and just took some twine and wrapped it to look like a little wild bouquet that maybe you picked up outside in a field and I just wanted it to be a Bit wild and whimsical, so I went ahead and tied them together with some twine and then hot glued it all together because I was gluing it to the chicken wire. I had to add a lot of hot glue. to make sure it would stay, but I just put a little bit on the back of my flowers and then I turned the whole thing over and hot glued from the back a few bits to the chicken wire so it all stuck together nicely . and I think this one turned out very, very nice.

I think it would be super cute if you made three of them in a row, you could put them in a window or on a shelf or something, but I think it would be a cute idea too, next I'll use another one of those Dollar Tree canvases. We're just doing a reverse canvas on this one, so I did the same thing where I removed the canvas from the back and then stacked two on top of each other. So this is two canvases. I used hot glue, but I would suggest using wood glue or something because it adds thickness between the wood and it doesn't hold very well either, so next I just use some black and brown paint.

I mixed it with a little water to make a light stain and I really like the look of this, it makes it look super rustic but I just painted it all over and then you can wipe it off with a paper towel if you don't like the smell. stain or the greasy residue or you want it to dry faster basically there are a ton of advantages to staining this way so that's what I did in this one it's super simple quick and easy and then I went ahead and added the canvas again. my frame so I just cut out the edges that were going to overlap and then hot glued it on and this way they have a more rustic look now before I glued it back on I added some distressed ink guys.

I know I love to use it if you've been around a long time, but it's really great for fabrics and things like that, you can always dye some tea or coffee, but this is really simple and quick to use if you're you know, in a pinch , or I just really like the way it looks and if your desk is messy like mine was, with random hot glue bumps and paint and stuff, you'll get those random darker areas all over your piece if you let it. Anyway, lying around, I made these burlap roses, uh, a long time ago for a different project, but I just ripped them off because I didn't like them anymore and decided to add them to this one, so I just hot glued them on.

If you want to see how to make them, I think I have a fabric flower video that I can link in the description or you can just search for it on YouTube. There are many tutorials you can follow, but I decided to add them. some twine to make it look like stems and then I hot glued everything together, added a twine bow and I think this one turned out really really pretty. I moved on to the next project. I had a bunch of scrap wood that my dad gave me. He trimmed and had a bunch of this on hand that they would just throw around his workplace for him to save for me, but if you don't have a bunch of scrap wood like this, you can use paint stir sticks. and like gluing or stapling them together, um, you could get little thin pieces of wood like Home Depot or Lowe's.

They're really really cheap, like a dollar or two for about 15 feet for these little thin rustic pieces, very economical and I think. the look is much better than using something from the dollar

tree

as rulers or something but anyway I just used wood glue and then my little nail gun is a staple and nail gun so I think I just used little nails on this one, but I did it. that for the back and then I turned it around so you couldn't see them. I guess I painted this too, but you saw anyway I just used a bunch of random wild looking spring flowers from the hobby lobby and this was a few years ago.

Also, so I don't know if they have exactly these same ones. I know they have a few, but you can still choose any you like and I just hot glued them onto this to make it look like a beautiful trellis. It was super simple but I think it's still one of the cutest DIYs I've ever done. For my next DIY, I have the Dollar Tree sign. These were very popular a few years ago and that's when I did this DIY and not anymore. I'm sure if they still have these specific signs, I haven't seen them in a while, but I don't go to the Dollar Tree often these days because I have too many supplies that I really need to use and it would be a waste.

I went all the time, I just picked a piece of scrapbook paper that I really liked and looked springy to me and I just cut around the edges with an Exacto knife on some parts that didn't go all the way, so I just used my scissors, but it was very easy to cut around this little sign and then for the center part, I cut that piece out because I decided to paint it. Instead I just used mod podge to adhere thescrapbook paper, you could even use a glue stick. but I always have a ton of mod podge on hand so that's what I used here and I just went ahead and covered the entire sign and then left my scrapbook paper.

I decided to paint that little piece in the middle with some gesso. chalk paint and I think I did a few coats to cover the bright colors. Then I'm using one of my favorite stencils from Walmart and writing fresh flower market with a Posca paint pen and then filling it in with the pen as well. These are my favorite paint pens. I have tried a few different brands and these are still my absolute favorite, I like that they are matte and not shiny and they also come in different tip sizes so you can get the fine point or the medium or the fat point, I think it's obviously not called so, I don't know, but I think there are two or three different ones, um, but I really like them all and they come in a lot of different colors, they are a little expensive, but I think that's to be expected for good quality and I'll link them to below if you want to check it out.

Get them out because you guys always ask me what paint pens I use so I'll go ahead and link that in the description. I bought them on Amazon, but then I wrote open and closed on each side of the center piece on the sign. I distressed the edges of the scrapbook paper a little with some sandpaper and then decided to add some fabric flowers that I made in the previous project, honestly I could take it or leave it with those, um, it wasn't my favorite how it was the fabric. The flowers showed up here, but I still like the idea and I think the whole sign in general came out very pretty.

Make This Next DIY is still my most viewed video on YouTube I think, but I was just trying it or getting inspired. I guess because of the hobby lobby sign I just showed and I had these boxes from Dollar Tree and I just went ahead and took out the back, very easy to do and I have three of them, they were already black on the frame and I really like I liked the way it looked so I didn't paint it at all, but I went ahead and removed the stickers and the middle part of the sign and painted it.

I first tried removing the paper, but it didn't work very well. In my case, I've seen other people sometimes they just peel off, but I was able to get the stickers off and you can use a hair dryer or any other type of heat to remove them easily, but I didn't know about that. Then luckily I was able to remove them without too much trouble. I went ahead and sanded them down due to the little marks in the middle and any residue left from the stickers and then painted them with some Waverly chalk paint. in the plaster color and I did that for the three inserts of these little plates.

Then I just use some brown apple barrel paint and an old paintbrush and I'm just applying this with a dry brush, so I basically just put a little on. My brush and then I rub it on the paper towel until it's almost dry. You can do this with anything, but paper towel seems to work great and absorbs the paint so it doesn't get too smeared and ruin it. you do, you can go ahead and sand over it so you don't get too harsh lines, but I just went over the three and distressed them a little bit.

Then I'm going to go back in with my Walmart stencil and my posca paint pens and wrote farm fresh eggs on my little signs. I went ahead and put the farm a little to the right. I don't remember if I did it on purpose or not, but it worked perfectly because I added an egg to the side, so it was a little offset so everything fit perfectly, but a little tip with the template, if you're trying to make it nice and centered , try putting the letters in the middle first and then facing out so you have uh, your word is a little centered, I don't know if that makes sense, sometimes it doesn't always work very well because the letters aren't exactly the same size, so that, for example, an i is much thinner than an m, so it's not always going to be foolproof, but it helps a lot below.

I'm stapling my frames with my manual stapler from Walmart. I wouldn't recommend this one if you have arthritis or anything because you have to put in a lot of effort and stuff. Some of you have asked me about that before, so I would say no if you have arthritis or something, but they have electric ones that you can reach where you won't have to put in much effort, so I would just look into it. which if that's a problem for you and then on the front I didn't want to add those staples, you could definitely give it a more rustic look, but then I added a little bit of glue in there and then I had this.

A piece of chicken wire which I also stapled after I stapled everything up I just put my little signs exactly where I wanted them and then bent the chicken wire to help it stay in place now if it were just me I could easily leave the part from the back so if I was going to put it on a high shelf or something, but if you're worried about getting poked by the chicken wire on the back, you can definitely cover it. I ended up selling it to a friend and I went ahead and covered the entire back with some arteza adhesive felt which worked great because it was already sticky and then covered those sharp edges but you can also cover them with hot glue or something so that don't see each other We're not going to poke or scratch anyone, so I went ahead and added that hot glue to the tip so they wouldn't be sharp, but then like I said later, I added the felt on the back, which would also give it a nice look. , I'm just going to take some dark colored raffia and add a little bit to each box to make it look a little more rustic and a little more like a little chicken coop, then I'm just going to take a dollar tree. easter egg and gluing it in the corner, I cut the raffia a little so that it looked a little more natural and not all folded in strange places.

Lastly I just added a little bit of hot glue between the frames to hold them together and that was all I did for this one, I would suggest using a little bit of wood glue if you wanted a really strong fixation but I only use hot glue for video purposes . Wood glue would be more ideal for this type of material and is still one of my favorite DIYs. I love it. How rustic this is, it's totally my vibe and I love it so moving on to the next DIY, I had this piece of scrapbook paper that looks like seed packets and my sister in law also gave it to me and I.

I think he got it from Michael's, but I went ahead and cut them out and selected the few I wanted to use on my sign, so here I'm just using a dollar tree sign I had on hand. I went ahead and removed the sticker from the back like I said, use heat, it's much easier, but then I went ahead and painted everything with a green color. I don't remember the exact color, I'm sure I'll show it, oh my gosh, look. to me fighting if you only knew. Then I just mixed the Waverly plaster color and the Spanish moss from the folk art chalk paint and went ahead and covered the entire sign with that paint.

Next, I'm just using a white posca paint pen. with a few different templates I had on hand, one is from Walmart and the larger one is from Michaels like years ago, so I'm not sure if they still have it, but I wrote quality guaranteed seed and then filled the small one. the letters with my posca pen and then the bigger letters I filled in with a small brush and then I didn't show them but I took this outside and used my power sander to give it a lot of wear, you could do this or not depending on your style and then I went on I went ahead and took my distressed ink and made the edges of the paper to look a little more worn and older and then I just altered them there and covered the entire sign so I would have the same finish everywhere below.

I just used a little bit of truffle chalk paint to go ahead and distress the paper a little more because apparently I wasn't happy with the look and I just drybrushed a little bit of that on next. Apparently I used an insane amount of mod podge to attach them to my sign and then I went ahead and covered everything like I said so everything would have the same finish now because I turned this sign the way it was. those holes on the side where the sign originally hung, you could fill them with wood putty before painting it, but I thought it would be cute to add some twine and make a bow on the side, so that's exactly what I did and I really liked it. love how this one came out, it's really unique.

I haven't seen anything like it before or since and I really like the way it turned out. Another one of my favorites coming soon. To whom I lie? They are all my favorites. You'll have to let me know in the comments which one you like best if you have a favorite from this video, but anyway I'm starting with these little round things from Dollar Tree. I found them probably last year for spring and I went ahead and removed them, look at me getting smart, I removed the stickers with my hair dryer, just added a little heat and they came off, look at that, if you had known you could have saved yourself so many difficulties anyway, I just went ahead and removed all those stickers.

Next, I'm going to take my truffle Waverly chalk paint and just paint the edges of these circles. There's no need to worry about the top because we're going to add some paper to it. You can go ahead and paint the back if you want a finished look. I usually don't care because I'm in a hurry. I usually don't have much time when I'm crafting because I always need to recover debris, so I don't really care what the back looks like. It looks like no one is going to see it so anyway I went ahead and printed out these three printables that I found on Pinterest for different types of herbs and I did it on some old paper and I don't remember exactly where I got this paper from.

I think he gave it to me, but I'm sure I could easily find something like this online or in the hobby lobby or something, but I went ahead and cut out the circles because apparently I didn't know how to get the printable in the right part. of my paper, so it wasn't going to cover the whole round piece, so I decided to cover them first and then I went ahead and broke the edges of my little beginnings. I think these are just herbs and I really like the way Sometimes it turned out to be a mistake or I like the way you didn't plan it, it just turns out better than the way you originally dreamed up the idea in your head, so I kept going.

I went ahead and tore it all over the edges and then I glued everything together with a little glue stick, oh but first I squished them all together so they looked super wrinkled and old, oh no guys, glue stick, it's really hard doing voiceovers for old videos, I don't know what's coming, I don't know. What I did a year ago anyway, you can see what I did here. I used a little bit of spray adhesive, but you can use a glue stick or whatever works for you, but I went ahead and put them right on top of the round piece and then I did it.

I used some distress ink to go over it and all those wrinkled bits made the distress part look amazing oh I didn't use distress ink look I'm using truffle chalk paint fire me right now I'm failing that too I will try to link these free printables in the description for you if they are still available. I have this gold basket from Dollar Tree and I went ahead and used that same truffle chalk paint to make it look old and rusty, only instead of going over the paint, I just put a little bit on my brush and then just put the paint on, which basically means you just bounce the brush up and down so you don't get those brush strokes, instead it's kind of random. stained there like it rests with me and I really like the look of this I just think it looks very realistic and actually rusty and I love, love, love, love, love, love the way this turned out Next, I just use a little.

Twine to tie these in my basket, they didn't fit exactly, which is what I was originally planning to do and then I panicked and thought, baby, what do I do? They don't fit and I did all this work. already and he said: why can't you stagger them like you have them there now? and I was like, oh my gosh, it's a really good idea anyway, like I said, when you make a mistake sometimes it's for the better because it turns out prettier than you had planned or expected and this one I definitely loved how it turned out well, so that this next DIY I clearly missed some pictures, but it was just one of these glass framed things from Dollar Tree, the frame is actually plastic and the glass is not. it didn't come out and it had words written on it so I went ahead and used some nail polish remover and rubbed them off and then painted the frame.

It looks like maybe I used gesso or ivory chalk paint. Next, I'm just taking a little bit of jumbo size. popsicle sticks from Walmart and cut them until I have the right size I need to cover everything. Do the following. I'm just doing a quick stain with some black and gray paint mixed with water. I just rub that all over my palette. Sticks on and then dries them with a paper towel, super quick and easy, like I said in the previous DIY, no smellbad and it is not greasy for the hands either. It also dries much faster than a normal dye.

Next, I just use hot water. glue to adhere them to the closure, but as we all know, if you are an experienced craftsman, at least you know that hot glue does not stick to glass, so they came off immediately, so I suggest you use another type of glue that you can wear. I know it would work, maybe e6000 or wood glue would work. I'm not too sure, but use something you know works with glass anyway, it's still a nice idea. I think I would use a different type of glue once I had everything covered. I went ahead and grabbed some spring flowers I had on hand at Hobby lobby, I just stuck them on with a little hot glue until I liked the pattern and the look of it and that's all I did for this one, I think it really turned out pretty.

Oh, and I added this dollar tree butterfly in the corner and I think that gave it an extra touch of spring and covered up where those flowers met and I think it's perfectly beautiful. Next up we have a very old DIY, this is one of my first videos and I just went ahead and painted a popcorn can lid that we had left over from Christmas that I had saved and used a stencil to write hello spring. I made this as a sort of shabby chic wreath that I just wrapped. some nautical rope around the edge and then added some spring dollar tree flowers with a little hot glue and a little bow and I think it turned out really cute, moving on to the next DIY.

I bought this basket at a small antique store. It was really really cheap, I think they could have given it to me for free, in fact they were like closing up shop and were trying to get rid of a lot of stuff. I thought it was really cute, so I decided to add a little white. i painted with some sort of whitewash, i think i went a little overboard with the white wash and gave it more coverage than i wanted so i went ahead and distressed it a little too with some truffle chalk paint and then also I went a little overboard with it so I went back and sanded it a little bit and with the final look I think it looked really good.

I just added some jars that I made with my own hands, they're like some Starbucks coffee jars you just saw. I used to drink them a lot at the grocery store, so I just painted them with some lambs here and I think it turned out really cute. The next DIY was a previous project I had done that I didn't really like. It turns out that I went ahead and tried to remove everything I could from the previous project and then just did that part in the back. I'm sure I could cover it with some felt or something.

Later this was a small wooden plaque from Michaels. I think a long time ago they were very inexpensive, you could get real wood ones there for very little money, but I went ahead and used some white Waverly chalk paint to cover the entire inside of the thing and the sides below. I have this template I made with dollar tree contact paper. I no longer use dollar tree contact paper just because it sometimes leaves a sticky residue on my project, so I use the duck brand from Walmart and haven't had any problems with it yet. so I would suggest doing that, but I'll try to leave the svg file for this little snip if you want to use it in the description. um just a cute little hello spring with the flower for the eye, I think that's really cute and I just went ahead and put on some black Waverly chalk paint or is it the color ink actually and then I just went around the edges as well to give it a little more interest and I distressed it a little with some truffle chalk paint.

I take it back, I was distressed. I distressed it a lot, so if you don't like angsty this may not be the channel for you, but you can still take

ideas

and leave out the angsty, but I will tell you that I probably distressed every single thing I've ever done, but I really like how this one turned out. It's super simple to make but super fun if you don't have a cricut, that's no problem. Obviously, you've already seen how I use just normal templates to make posters. It's super easy. you just need a little practice and it comes out great now the next thing i'm going to do is just a little lift and i just had these pieces of wood but you can use paint stir sticks or something dollar tree rules i just went ahead and used a little bit of white Waverly chalk paint and put it on there randomly, I didn't really care if I got full coverage because I wanted it to look super rustic and then I just went ahead and glued it on. to make a little riser for my dollar tree pots that I had previously just whitewashed and added some dollar tree succulents and I think it turned out really cute, it just adds a little more height and interest to those little pots instead of just placing the pots on a shelf or on the windowsill, next I have another one of these plastic frames with glass inside and like I said I used some nail polish remover to remove the words, it was a little difficult to get them all. off so I would say if you have 100 acetone it would work much better but I didn't so I just used what I had and then added a cricut vinyl decal and I'll leave it linked in the description as well.

I hot glued some lavender on the back so it would show through and then I decided I didn't like the black frame and I wanted to make it white so I went ahead and did that and then just a little bit of distressing with my paint of truffle ripple chalk and that's all I did for this one. I think it turned out very, very pretty and I think it would go perfect with the next two DIYs that I'm going to show you, so the next one is regular. Simple, I just have one of these little frames from Dollar Tree.

It's not a normal frame because you have to take out the plastic part in the middle, but it's very easy to do. You may want to reinforce the frame with a little glue or more. staples because it's a little flimsy, but it's not plastic, it's the chipboard type, so I really like the way you can paint on it and it looks more like real wood. I just added a couple pieces of I linked it with some hot glue and tied it with some lavender from Walmart with some little bows and that's all I did for this one which is super cute but it looks like you know how they used to hang flowers and things like that to dry and herbs. and all that, I don't know, that's the idea I was going for here, it's not the best image, the lighting was really bad for that one, but I think the DIY turned out really nice, so let's move on to the third lavender DIY.

That I have this one is literally very simple, but I think it is one of the prettiest. I just grabbed some brown craft paper from Dollar Tree and tied it around the lavender with twine and that was all I did. I think it looks like this. nice, I think those three would make the most beautiful vignette. This next DIY is another one of my favorites. I just have these little yogurt jars that Zack's mom saves for me sometimes and I went ahead and just painted them and distressed them. I added some twine to the top and some dollar tree succulents and I had made this before.

I used a few of these at our wedding and that's why I had them on hand. She saved a bunch for me, but I decided to make some macrame like hanging jars and I've never made macrame. before, so I looked up a little tutorial and it was super simple, so I'm not going to try to explain it because it would be too difficult, just if you want to see how I did it, keep watching because it's pretty. difficult to explain but it is very easy to see what I am doing here in the video how beautiful they turned out.

I love them. I posted them on Facebook Marketplace and they sold immediately. They are so cute but so simple to make. cheap, I love how they turned out so for this next DIY I had a piece of wood that I used for a different sign that I didn't like anymore so I turned it over and covered the entire back with some colored Waverly chalk ivory. paint below, I have this svg file that I created in cricut and I'll leave it linked below, but I went ahead and used some contact paper from Dollar Tree as a template.

I don't suggest using contact paper from Dollar Tree, it leaves a sticky residue. on your project it may not be for everyone but for me it often is so I switched to Walmart Duck brand contact paper it works much better and is inexpensive there is plenty on the roll so I highly recommend using it instead and I just go ahead and use. use the washi tape setting to cut it out and it works perfectly every time you just reverse the grass so take out the part you want to have on your sign and then paint over it so I'll leave this svg file linked below and that way you can Use it if you also have a cricut.

I don't know how to make printables yet, maybe one day I can learn that. I apologize if you don't have a cricut, but I just used the colored ink anyway. for this template and I think it turned out really pretty and then I just wanted to add a little detail to the edges because it seemed too open to me so I used some pieces of wood to make a straight line and I followed it with my posca paint pen and that's pretty much everything I did for this one and I love how it turned out. It's still one of my favorites.

Is very pretty. The only downside is the sticky residue, so it picks up all the dust and nasty stuff I tried to clean. I turned it off but no success so move on to the next DIY. I have these dollar tree eggs. If you've been watching me for a while, you've probably seen me do this many times with many different projects, but I just have some old music paper from an old music book I found at a thrift store. It's a very thin paper, so it's perfect for this. You can use anything you like, cut or torn book pages.

I like to break it. I think it looks great. or you can use napkins of any type, such as paper mache. I just use mod podge to adhere them. I know there are other things you can use, but I'm not very familiar with them, so anyway I had this bowl on hand that I found. in the closet um that was Zach's anyway when I first made this video Zach's mom texted me like she recognized that bull. Apparently she sent some food

home

and I didn't know and Zach didn't remember and he was sure about painting. but luckily she didn't mind at all.

I just thought it was a fun side note, but anyway I just painted this entire bowl with ivory chalk paint. I really like details, so that's why I chose this one and then. I just

decor

ated my eggs a little bit with some lace, twine and different bows and things like that, any scrap pieces I could find to give them a fancy touch and then I went ahead and distressed my bowl which really brought out some of those nice details and I wanted this to be like a nest so I added some moss, my eggs and some little flowers I had on hand at Hobby lobby and I think it turned out so cute and pretty and worn. elegant and everything I love for spring, moving on to the next DIY, I had this butterfly that was part of a dollar tree sign.

I went ahead and covered everything with some ivory colored chalk paint, it didn't cover them completely. bright colors, but that wasn't a big deal to me since I was going to cover everything with a little more of that musical paper. I just used a bit of glue stick to adhere it since I just cut the big pieces out instead of tearing them up and using the mod podge, then I had some scraps of this musical fabric, you can use whatever you have on hand, it's kind of key for vintage shabby chic type projects and that's what I do, I just look around at what kind of scraps I have on hand.

Everyone keeps asking me what this hobby lobby heart ribbon is called because they can't find it. I have no idea what it's called. I apologize, I no longer have the roll because I only had some leftovers, but below. Every time I go to the hobby lobby I'll see if they have the tape so I can find it and I'll tell them exactly what it's called so they can look it up online because I know it's hard to find the same items online as you. sometimes I find it at the store, but anyway I just had different things, like paper flowers and things from Hobby Lobby's paper studio and their paper studio supplies go on sale every two weeks, so if not You know, you can search online or call ahead and Look, this week is the week it's on sale.

I suggest you do it before you leave because it can get a little expensive if their stuff isn't on sale, but anyway I just added a bunch of random stuff, most of this scrap stuff is from the hobby lobby. but like I said, it's super cheap if you get it when it's on sale, that's all I did to this little one and I think it's so cute and perfect for spring. I lied, that's not all I did. I also have this flower ribbon from Hobby. lobby and I just cut out the flowers and then cut the excess ribbon around so I could use the floor just the flower and the same with these little ones and they really add a romantic touch to any shabby chic project and I love itmove on to the next DIYs.

These were some little jars that I found at Dollar Tree and I just went ahead and covered the whole thing with some white Waverly chalk paint and they had all these little nooks and crannies, which makes it a little bit more difficult to paint, but I did it. It makes it so much more beautiful when you distress it because it brings out all those beautiful details, so I used some truffle chalk paint to distress them and added some twine and some bows and stuff. then I added some dollar tree succulents with some reindeer moss and I really like these, you can do just one or three like I did, I like to have three in a row, I think it's really pretty like this, maybe like in the window sill or something.

I want to put everything on a windowsill and I don't have windowsills to put things on for the next DIY. I got this silver tray from Dollar Tree and I covered it with a little more of that ivory chalk paint and gave it a couple of coats here. just to make sure it had full coverage, it's glossy plastic so the more coats you apply sometimes the previous coat comes off. If you have trouble with that, I just try to do it lightly, but you can also use spray paint. or something like that if you want, they also have chalky finish spray paints.

Next up I just have this cutout that I made with my cricut, it's just a leaf and I put it right in the center of the plate and I feel like this is kind of vintage Victorian, uh, shabby chic, I don't know what this botanical is called , I don't know anyway, I really like how it turned out, but you could use a free printable or something and modify it. I don't have to have a cricut or anything so I just went ahead and used the color Spanish Moss, it's a folk art chalk paint but there are very similar colors in Waverly.

This is just what I had on hand, so I put it in my project and then distressed it with my um. What's it called? I also applied it with my truffle chalk paint to bring out those beautiful details and this simple and simple project is probably one of my favorites still and I actually sold it right away on Facebook Marketplace and I wouldn't suggest it either. Remove the adhesive stencil while the paint is still wet. I think the only reason I did that in this case was because I was trying to remove it before the residue stuck to my plate, but like I said, I've never had a problem with the Walmart contact. paper doing that so make sure you are using the right material so you don't have problems on your project because it is the worst thing to spend so much time and energy on a project and then it just gets ruined in the end. final, it's very very disappointing, take it from me, moving on to the next project, I don't remember exactly where I got this bottle from, but you can find similar ones very easily, even wine jugs and things like that, um, but this one is a little smaller than those normal wine jugs, but either way it would be super cute, I just went ahead and painted the whole thing with some white Waverly chalk paint, gave it two coats to make sure it was pretty opaque and then went and bought an old jug I had done it before and copied the words.

I like to use the number four because there are four people in our families who actually at least mean something to us, but it's also that cute

look. I went ahead and used a pencil. first so I could erase any mistakes I made since I was handing it out freely and then once I got it how I liked it I just went over it with a posca pen and it covered the pencil very easily once I was completely done putting my lettering, I went ahead and added a little bit of distressing with some truffle chalk paint and then I like to go over it again with some sandpaper and tone down those harsh colors so it shows up a little bit more. natural and that's all I did for this one.

I love how it turned out for the next jar. I got it from my sister-in-law who actually had hot chocolate for Christmas, but I thought it was the cutest shape. I saved it and went ahead and covered everything again with that white chalk paint and then I just have a little Cricut stencil that I made. I'll also leave this one linked in the description if you're wondering exactly. how I do it, I'll also leave you the link to my video on how I make my Cricut templates using Dollar Tree contact paper, like I said, just use Walmart, but in that video I use the ones from Dollar Tree, which just takes that into account , but I'll leave it linked below.

It's a really old video so I'll try to make a new one soon because I've learned a lot more since then, but anyway yeah, I'll try to link all the SVG files I use in this video. you guys can use them too if you have a cricut so basically I did the exact same process as the last jar and I think it came out really pretty moving on to the last jar I'm making this is a Starbucks coffee jar that just arrived at the store normal groceries. I just removed the label and then did the exact same process.

No words on this one just this time, but I added a little bit of twine on top, it just adds a little bit of something that makes it. a little more rustic and I like to do that with these jars. I have tons of them because I was saving them for a wedding but then we had to have a small wedding because I covered them but I still had a ton of these jars so I wanted to go ahead and use them now I guess I lied this is the last one bottle here, but it's just a little coke bottle and I went ahead and wrapped the whole thing with twine and that's all I did for this one, you don't.

I need hot glue on everything, I would just say when you start use as much as you need to stay on top and then when you're done you can use a little more but I really didn't. I need a lot in the whole bottle. I like to combine this with the jars I just made. It just adds a little more texture and mixes it up. I think it's really nice. You could go ahead and burn the outside. also to remove all those ropes and give it a little more rustic look or if you don't like fire you can go ahead and just distress it with a little bit of paint and that would also work like brown paint.

It looks the same, but unfortunately it doesn't remove all those little hairs and this one I didn't do, but those are some options for you for this DIY. I actually made this a long time ago. I had this piece of wood, I think it's actually more like chipboard, but it was just an old thrift store photo and I used the can lid and then just some pieces of wood to make the shape of a sun and I went on trying to make it until I liked the way it looked since I was handing it free, but I used those pieces just to make my lines a little straighter and the sun a little rounder because I'm not very good at handing those guys free.

Anyway, after that I just used a yellow posca paint pen to outline the sun rays. Now the paint that I'm going to use to fill in the sun rays is like a gold type paint and that's fine. It doesn't have to match perfectly, but the closer the better, that way when you use the paint you're filling it in with, you can cover up the other color. Now it's like a metallic gold color that I had on hand. I wanted to use it so I thought why not use it for this. I had to apply about 59 layers of paint over the sun rays to make them opaque, then I just had a bunch of different yellow flowers on hand and just cut them out. all of their stems and I hot glued them to the center part for the sun and I really love how this looks, it's not totally my style, it's not as rustic as I would like, but you could make it more rustic, you could make it like a lighter yellow. and distress it as on a white background.

I feel like I might want to redo this again, but I made it a long time ago and I feel like my style has evolved a little since then, but I still love how it turned out. so I wanted to add it below. I only use the Michaels jig and some larger centers. Then I just use this stencil from Michaels that I bought several years ago so I'm not sure if they still have it and then some big stencils as well. from walmart to write you are my sunshine i thought it would be cute to put it on bree's wall but it doesn't really match the colors of her room and that's the reason i didn't use it because i made it for her for a long time.

It's been now that she actually has a room like it just doesn't fit and she has too much stuff to be able to put everything I want on her wall and anyway I think I just colored this one and I'm using it to make a new sign but I'm still thinking it turned out really nice and if it matched your

decor

, I think it would be super cute in someone else's house. I simply outlined this with my paste paint markers and then covered the entire inside. with a small brush with my apple barrel paint and like I said it came out pretty, it's just not completely my style anymore.

I'm starting with this foam dollar tree wreath shape wreath and then I had these purple flowers from a garland. That came in Michael's tote bag, so it's like almost zero dollars because I have so much stuff in there, but I started taking it apart and bought this probably a year or two ago. I never knew what to do with it, but I just took out all the pieces, there are three flowers on each little piece, and hot glued them all over. It took me a while because I had to hold them down for quite a while as my glue was very hot, maybe if you had a low temperature glue.

I think it would be faster because I had to wait for it to dry and also it was melting a little while I was making it so I would suggest a low temperature if you have one but I just filled the whole thing with flowers until it was as full as I liked and that It's all I made for this super simple and easy and I think it turned out really pretty so for this next DIY I have this basket that my grandma gave me with a little teddy bear when I was a little girl so I've had this forever and I don't I'm going to glue anything or anything like that so I don't ruin it in case I want to put the bear back on later. but right now Brie loves that bear and sleeps with it and everything, so the basket was there and I decided to make good use of it, so I threw some dollar tree moss in here, but I think you can get baskets similar to this at Dollar Tree at Easter so you can just spray paint it white and distress it if you want or whatever color you want and then like I said I added some moss from Dollar Tree and then I had this little bird's nest. from the hobby lobby from a long time ago, it came with a bird in it and everything, but I took it out and decided to add a little bit of white Waverly chalk paint, just a little bit of dry brush so you know a little bit.

More of a shabby chic looking

and I really like the look he gave it. I picked up these little eggs from the dollar tree and I tried to pick the ones that I thought were the lightest color and would be the easiest to cover with paint, they are covered in glitter, it will go everywhere, but once you put the paint on, of course it's not going anywhere, I just went ahead and painted right over the glitter, I really like the texture it leaves on the eggs, it's very easy to I took out the little ribbons and had this piece of wire from some old flowers to which I removed the flowers and actually used it to glue my eggs and paint them easier.

You could use anything like a skewer or whatever. I also did it on my hand, it's very messy but you can wash your hands so anyway yeah they only needed one coat of paint as I tried to go for the lighter colors it covered them really well and then I went ahead and I afflicted them. a little bit with some brown chalk paint. Now I have been using the same Hobby lobby spring flowers from this selection for years. I just grab a few here and there and it comes with so many flowers in there that their flowers are half the price. the moment so I go when they're on sale and pick them up to move on to the next DIY this is probably my favorite in this video but this is a dollar tree DIY and I just found these little Easter gift bags on the dollar tree. and I'm only using one for this project, but it comes with several in the bag.

I'm just using some stamps I have from Hobby lobby. I've had them for years and I also have this distressed ink and you can use any ink. that you have on hand this is just what I have and I just went ahead and wrote rabbit bait on my little tag. This little tag also came from Dollar Tree in a small package. It's in the junk reserve area and comes with a ton and I love it. I think these little labels are really cute for shabby chic and farmhouse projects, but I just wrote rabbit bait on there and also used my ink to distress my baggie.

You can definitely dye tea or coffee if you want and The bag is already very cute and rustic so you don't even have to do that if you don't want to but I like that rustic and primitive look. I don't know what it's called, you guys do, but anyway, um, yeah. So I went ahead and grieved him a little and then I had a carrot left over from thewhite Waverly chalk as if I had gone over the flowers a little to make them visible. There won't be as much contrast as you can see, these are some really small, delicate pieces and I was struggling a lot so I just showed a little bit and then skipped to the end so you guys don't have to.

Look at me in pain, but I know there is a video on my channel that shows you how I make these contact paper stencils, but that was using Dollar Tree contact paper and I no longer use Dollar Tree contact paper for my stencils just because it tends to to leave a sticky residue on my projects and I don't like that so I use contact paper from Walmart. In my opinion, it works much better and is super

affordable

. It's like five dollars for a huge roll that lasts me forever, so I would definitely do that if you're going to go this route with the contact paper stencil.

In my opinion, Walmart is your best option. Now I'm just using an old gift card to smooth this out and make sure I don't have any. bubbles when I have the final image there and then you can see how the last flower was a little messy so I went ahead and didn't even paint that one. You guys sometimes asked me for some stenciling tips if you If you're using a contact paper adhesive stencil like this or just a regular stencil, I suggest you tape it down and you can go over it. I have these flat foam brushes from Walmart and I just stipple the paint, which just means you bounce the brush. up and down instead of sliding from side to side if that makes sense so it doesn't leak under the insole and bleed out and then also another way to do it if you don't want the insole to get dirty if it's not a disposable one like this one you can go ahead and just trace an outline with a paint marker and then paint inside the lines or just color inside the lines with your paint marker that's a super easy way to do it that's how I used do it all.

The time before I got my cricut, I just went ahead and deleted everything. I think the image is very pretty, but as you can see, it's too much contrast for me, so I went ahead and came back. with some white chalk paint like I said and I just bleached it a little bit and I think that made it a lot prettier, but also like I said, I'd like to do it in light gray, I may end up painting over this and doing that later. but this was just a quick project I wanted to show you some options for styling the shelves so for this third DIY this was from Dollar Tree and I had pictures of me painting it white and I don't know.

I guess I erased it with the other part. but anyway, it's just one of those Dollar Tree jars, it comes with a lid, but I went ahead and took it off, gave it two coats or just one of Waverly white chalk paint and then I applied some dry gray paint. and I had this tassel that I had made a long time ago that came out of one of my other projects and I just went ahead and tied it on there and then we have these little wooden cutouts from Dollar Tree that I tied on as well. and I added one bead at first I thought I was going to add three but I didn't like how it looked with the tassel if you did it just with the little cutout I think it would be really pretty with a few different beads and hanging.

Out of there, but since I added the tassels well, it's too much so I went ahead and removed those two and only left one bead and these beads are from Amazon. I bought them a while ago to do some DIY for my wedding, but Amazon. It's a very good deal if you're looking for a lot of beads. I have this dollar tree sign and it was actually from last year, but I'm sure they'll probably have it again. I just don't go to the dollar tree very often anymore. because I have a lot of supplies, but anyway I'm just taking a piece of light colored paper so I can see through, it was still a little hard to see, so if you had tracing paper or something it would be a lot easier, but I just went ahead and traced the shape of the bunny and then I'm using this as a little template on some fabric that I've had from Walmart for a long time.

This little piece of wood was also from Walmart. You can get these little pieces. If you don't have them in your dollar tree, for about 98 cents on the dollar, something at Walmart, they also have little bare wood signs or plaques and things that you can use, but I had used this one before and I didn't need it anymore, so I went ahead and painted it with my Waverly chalk paint and then used some fabric I got at Walmart. This was only a dollar a yard so it was super super cheap just using a small piece, it's not canvas material because it's much thinner but it gives off that vibe which I really like so I used my bunny stencil that I made and then I cut this.

I took some, what's it called? distressed ink and I used that um just to distress the fabric a little bit I just rubbed it on top you can also stain this with coffee or tea but this is a lot easier and quicker for me so that's what I like to do and then I went ahead and used some white Waverly chalk paint to distress my sign, as you can see I like to follow the grain of the wood, I just think it makes it look a lot more natural and therefore very lightly distresses that entire piece . wood below, I'm just using a mod podge to adhere my fabric bunny to the sign.

I'm sure there is some other type of glue you can use too, but I didn't want to use hot glue because that would leave something behind. bumps and stuff underneath that I don't really like so I use the mod podge and just brush it under and over and I really like the way it smears around, that sounds so gross but I don't know. what other word to use to describe it but it stained around the distressing bunny and changed the color a little bit and I really liked the way it looked and I definitely wasn't even doing that on purpose but I love it. even better than how it originally looked below I just took that little tail I took off the original sign and added it to my bunny's little butt and distressed it a little with some truffle Waverly chalk paints and this is one of my favorites . colors to distress, I think it looks a little more natural than black or something just because the dirt is brown anyway, just dry brush a little bit of that there, I really like how this makes it look really distressed, fancy and old anyway, I chose I picked up these little carrots from dollar target last year or the year before and never got around to using them so I was really excited to use them in this project.

They had these little loops at the top. I think maybe it was like that. I could make a little banner or something, but I went ahead and cut them out with my scissors. These carrots are made of paper. I think they're like those paper streamers you can use for parties and all that. like wrapped nicely, I don't know how to describe it but anyway I just put some jute twine on the top of my sign and decided to distress my carrots a little too, they looked so shiny compared to my little sign and just didn't It looked good, they are actually even brighter than they look on camera anyway, I just added a little more distressing to the carrots and then glued them to my little jute twine and added a little spice.

I glued the string in the middle so it holds it in a more circular shape instead of just straight so it looks more like a little banner, then I just hot glued my carrots directly to my sign and I think this one came out so adorable, I I love it so much that I had no idea where I was going with this originally, but I love how it turned out next. I'm making this cute dollar tree wreath and I actually found this little wreath shape on the dollar tree obviously because that's what I just said, but it looks like something you could maybe find at the dollar target place or something like that .

I thought it was very well made, at least the one I found, some of them seemed to have a few errors but I looked through them and found the best one and then this part took quite a while but I decided to wrap the entire outside edge with jute twine. I was actually originally going to spray paint this white and then wrap the thread, but I completely forgot about it and I'm glad I didn't because I really like how it turned out in the end, so like I said, this took quite a while, they were around 59 years old, so I would suggest you don't do it.

I don't want to just sit there and feel really sore in my feet like I do. Could you sit down and watch a movie or something and do this on the go? I didn't need hot glue, except at first. In the end, I didn't need hot glue during the whole process, I just wrapped it as tight as I could and my hand was cramping, so take a little break in the middle if you need to, but I also use the twine from Walmart for this little tip. , Walmart's twine is much thicker than Dollar Tree's. I feel like if I had used one from Dollar Tree, it would have taken like 159 years, so keep that in mind below, I went ahead and distressed some more with that truffle Waverly chalk paint.

Now I was trying to make it look like the metal was a little old and rusty, so I just applied it, you can see the effect here, but that definitely wasn't good enough for me. I decided to add a little bit of black, so I used Waverly chalk paint with wink and wink ink, put those two words together and you can shorten them, but I just used the ink shape, chalk paint really, next I also distressed my twine of jute. I just went over that with the truffle color and if you don't like fire like I do, I don't really love using fire, especially with little kids around, so I go ahead and distress it with paint too, maybe it's just a little lazy it's really no big deal but if you don't want to do that you can also get the same effect with paint only you still have the hairs so do whatever you want but that's what I did with this one and then I had these little flowers from michaels, they were 40 off their spring collection and I love michaels spring flowers, they are so wild they look whimsical and I just took them apart, it was just um maybe like I don't I don't remember how much it was , I thought I knew, but then I realized I was thinking about something else, so anyway I know it was really cheap, it was like two dollars to start with and then it was forty percent off, so it really made me love going there.

About the Dollar Trees flowers, I was never able to find the pretty ones at Dollar Tree so I picked up all the pretty ones I could find at Michael's and I'm going to use them in my spring crafts and then next I'm just going to make a little bow. With some pieces of burlap, this would be the burlap in the big roll from Walmart and it was just a piece that I had on hand so I just laid two pieces on top of each other and tied them with twine and then I'm taking some of that cute dollar tree ribbon and adding it on top too.

I think this is called like a rag loop or something like that. I'm not really sure but I thought it was cute and once I had it all tied up, I just went ahead and distressed that ribbon a little bit with my distressed ink and hot glued it on and that's all I did for this one and I think It turned out very nice, rustic and, in my opinion, simply beautiful. Next up are my wooden carrots. They're not really wood, I think they're more like chipboard or something like that. A funny story. My husband bought us a treadmill and when he was setting it up, they were in the box and he said, "You don't want them, do you?" It was like, gimme, gimme, I saw carrots immediately in my future, so I grabbed them and I'm painting them with some pumpkin chalk paint and I went ahead and messed them up a little bit, but I used two coarse sandpapers and it was ruined. . one side of the carrot, so I just turned it over and used the other side and put the edges on it a little bit with the thick one and then I used it a little bit with a lighter, what's it called sand?

Only for the top. part and then I'm using a posca pen to make those lines for a carrot. I'm not a professional artist, don't judge me for this. I tried to look at other

ideas

on Pinterest and I just decided to improvise and just put some random lines in there and then stressed them with my sandpaper. Next, I'm again taking a few more pieces from that selection from Michael's and using them for my greenery for my carrots. I just used a little hot glue and some twine to put them on. Together we tied it in a knot and then wrapped it and then I just cut it to the length I wanted and hot glued it to the carrots and then I decided to add some more bows to my carrots with that same dollar tree ribbon and I think they turned out very cute.

Next up is my favorite DIY from the video and most of these supplies are from Dollar Tree so with the exception of a few items from Michaels and Hobby lobby I'm starting with this little Dollar arrow sign. tree and it's funny because when I was doing a tour the other day Brie was helping me and she said mommy look it's a house and I was like oh my gosh I wouldn't have even thought of that so some of you told me I like it, oh yes, I usethose houses all the time and sometimes I think: do I have an imagination?

So I thought it was the cutest idea and was inspired by a Pinterest pin to make a birdhouse with this. and I had this little um, what is this called a bird's nest, on hand. I bought it at Hobby lobby many years ago and used it in a DIY like in my last video I think, and I took it straight from there because I had put it in a basket and decided to reuse it for this DIY below. Oh and I just dry brushed it a little bit with some white chalk paint and then I'm just dressing up my house with the truffle chalk paint again and I love these colors together I think they look really pretty when they're all worn down and they have a rustic farmhouse look, so I went over everything very lightly, concentrating more on the edges and the corners where they meet and all that. and then a little more lightly in the middle of the little house.

Then I just use my paint cap to make the little hole for my birdhouse and I'm using a posca pen to draw that and I started trying to I colored it and then my ink stopped coming out so I went ahead and pressed the tip and then Too much paint came out, so I grabbed a small brush and used the paint that came out of the pen to paint it all over. the circle and it worked very well. Then I wanted to hot glue this little nest into the house so I just cut part of it out with my scissors and it was actually really easy to do and I just hot glued it right on the bottom of In my house I had to let this sit for quite a while for it to dry completely because it kept falling off every time I tried to move it but once I let it dry it was perfectly fine, I think my glue was so hot that it was taking a while to dry since I used a lot and then I'm using just a little piece of michael's for the eggs and that was only a dollar ninety nine and then, um, a little more of those little savages.

The flowers are just hot glued sporadically around the birdhouse and I wanted it to look super fun and whimsical and no rhyme or reason I wanted to be really shabby chic and just fun and I think I achieved that look with this one, below we have these little dollar tree eggs and I just stuck them in a little stem that I had from some flowers that I picked out of a pick and that way I don't get my hands dirty and I can also stick it in a piece of styrofoam to let it dry and then once it was dry I just messed it up a bit with some truffle chalk paint.

You could make specks on your eggs instead and that might be a little more realistic, but it wasn't. I'm in the mood to make a big mess, as you can see my crafting area is a big mess and I will be painting everything so I also apologize for the way my crafting area looks and I promise to clean it up soon but honestly this is real . life and a lot of times it's all I can do to even make these crafts for you guys to post these videos so you can watch them in time, you know, at least one every week I try to make. and sometimes I feel like I don't have time to clean my space, but I promise to try to make it so it's a little easier to see below.

I just decided to add some Spanish moss to make it look better. a little messier and kind of natural, so I used a little bit of hot glue for that too so they would stay there and stuck it in all the little places that were, you know, open and full. Let's go with that moss. I got these little paper flowers from the hobby lobby. I've had them for years and I just repurposed them and added some of them in there and then decided I wanted to put this in some kind of frame. So I bought this frame from Dollar Tree and the glass broke when we moved, but that doesn't matter because I wasn't going to use it anyway, so I threw that part away and then used the cardboard to glue these giants together.

The craft sticks are from Walmart, but I think you can also get them at Dollar Tree. I'm not sure but I went ahead and cut off all the rounded edges and didn't worry at all about making it perfect because once you put it back in the frame the edge won't be visible at all and plus I wanted it to look rustic enough. anyway, so once I had enough to cover everything, I went ahead and used some mod podge to put them on. My cardboard I knew I didn't want to use hot glue because it doesn't work very well on wood and they would just fall off, but I couldn't get the lid off my e6000 and I didn't feel like going looking for it. something to remove it so I decided to use some mod podge because I had it there and it worked perfectly so once I had everything covered with craft sticks I painted it with some white Waverly chalk paint and then distressed it a bit. a little bit with the same truffle Waverly chalk paint and then once everything was dry I just glued it back onto the frame.

I also painted the frame with the truffle color and then distressed it with the white, they are pretty much the only colors I am using. in this video almost and I think I really like them and I think it came out so cute I'm really happy with the way this one turned out I just hot glued my house directly onto the frame once it was all done and Just think it turned out so beautiful, do it to start. I'm using this mirror from Dollar Tree. I've had this for probably years and I had some kind of plan like this, but I was never 100 sure.

What I was going to do with it is I'm using some white Waverly chalk paint to cover all of this. I only did one layer since I'll add some pink later. The pink I'm using is called Vintage Victorian and is a Full Car Home Decor Chalk Paint. I think Waverly has a similar color called ballet slipper. They are both very pretty and I love this color for spring. I made a more opaque look around the outside. I was planning on just blotting with a brush. a little bit, but I was a little harsh and I still like how it turned out, but I did more of a dry brush on the inside of the circle, now the colors and just adding a floral is what made this look more like. a spring DIY for me, the lace and ribbons are from Hobby lobby.

I usually buy them when they are half price which makes them much more affordable and there is a lot on a roll so it's actually not that expensive even compared to the dollar tree. The pearl necklaces are also from Hobby Lobby and you can also find them in the ribbon section. They have some larger pearls I've seen at Dollar Tree and you could do the same effect with them, but these are on a necklace. Just make it super easy to add to shabby chic projects and I think it really brings everything together. I really love the look of the pearls below.

I'm just doing a quick and easy distressing with my hobby lobby distress ink I've had them for years and I'm still using them so they really last a long time. I really like it for fabrics because it's easy to just lay them out there. Coffee or tea could definitely stain these things too, but for me this is just a quicker option, if I had thought about it I would have done the lace beforehand, but that's fine, and then I went ahead and put it around everything the project and I think it really adds a nice distressed effect, but it's very quick and easy.

I've been doing this season. If you want to see how I made my Easter egg garland, I'll leave that video linked in the description because I think it just entices. very good along with these spring DIYs, so moving on to my next DIY, I bought this cat frame from Dollar Tree a while ago. I really like the texture of the frame it's almost like wood. Obviously it's just plastic, but the texture gives it a faux wood look, so I just went over that with a coat of my white Waverly chalk paint and did pretty much the same technique with the pink and just dry brushed it on top and I only did one coat of white because I was going to dry the pink on top with a brush, if you were just going to use white you'd probably need two coats on this.

Now I bought these little frames at Hobby lobby and they are in the scrapbooking section and they are also half price. every other week and anyway I just dry brushed it a little bit with a little more pink and hot glued it right in the middle of my frame and then I decided to add a little bit, just a butterfly from Dollar Tree and I really love it . These little wood cutouts, I don't know about you, but butterflies look like spring to me and I thought they would be really cute, like on a shelf in Bree's room or something.

I can even add a photo of her there or you could. Leave it as is as decoration, you don't even need anything inside, the frame itself is quite nice. I feel like leaving it as is, but I did exactly the same thing on that butterfly, I used some white waverly. chalk paint and then a little more of that pink on top and I hot glued it right in the corner of the frame and that was all I did for this one, I think it turned out so cute now moving on to the last DIY, this one is actually my favorite even though it's so simple, I just painted this jar from Dollar Tree with a coat of white paint, really chalk paint, they're all almost exactly the same white paint and then a little bit of pink paint, just this one, I decided to add a little tassels and beads to make it a little more fun and some succulents from Dollar Tree, so I found this in the thread section of Dollar Tree, but it's just called cotton cord and it doesn't have exactly the same texture as the thread.

I really liked it and thought. It would be perfect for tassels on little shabby chic or boho projects so I grabbed it and just wrapped it a few times and then made a quick and easy tassel and tied it right there and then I had one of those little houses. from the dollar tree that I had on hand and I decided to cut the little bead out of there and put it in this project and that was all it did and then I added a little bit of that, I don't know what it's called, some kind of grass or something, um , I think it's excelsior grass, no, let me know in the comments, I just added a little filler and then some fake succulents from Dollar Tree, I picked the prettiest ones I thought they had, I really love the light. the colored ones I think look more realistic and a little less cheap and I always grab them when I can so I just stuck three in there and I think this one came out very pretty even though it was very simple to make and sorry my camera went out of focus for a moment.

I'm still learning how to use it and it's very difficult to look at the camera and what I'm doing at the same time, so it occasionally goes out of focus. and I don't realize it, so I apologize for that. I'm also learning new editing software again.
