I Spent 100 Days in a Medieval Plague in Hardcore Minecraft... Here's What Happened

May 16, 2024
foreign mustard

plague

, okay just listen it's disgusting and I can listen to it for like 30 hours and this is the thing about this

plague

, whichever one of these

medieval

men touches me, t

here

's a chance I could get infected with her and if I don't find a way to cure myself, I will die and this is in Hardcore. I'm going to spend the next 100

days

fighting an ever-evolving plague and building an absolutely beautiful

medieval

mansion. Then, on the 100th day, t

here

will be a whole. Full assault where these plague citizens will attack and try to destroy the mansion I just

spent

like 30 hours building.

I'll do something a little different this time if you want to see the full, mostly unedited, playthrough of this. I have a link on my second channel called Mustard Sean. It's absolutely perfect for watching it in bed or

what

I don't know where you would watch it. It's a very long version of this. I'm trying to say I have a link, okay here we go. I spawned in this huge valley, there were cliffs around me, a ton of trees, and this wooden outpost nearby before running blindly into

what

could be full of plagued people. First I cut down a tree and got a basic tool set, then I went to The Outpost inside it.

More Interesting Facts About,

i spent 100 days in a medieval plague in hardcore minecraft here s what happened...

I was very surprised to find diamonds. There were three of them in a chest. I know what you're thinking. Wow, diamonds. That's nice, that's nice. well I'll tell you no it's not as good as you think because I can't even use them yet to use diamonds and any kind of tools in fact you need to level up your stats in this mod pack and make you need to spend XP and talking Of that, I encountered my first plagued citizen shortly after curing the man. I went out to find more XP. I was going to need as much XP as possible because I couldn't even equip iron currently.

Armor, I was a very vulnerable man and just like the beginning of any MMO, I started it by killing as many pigs as I could that night, when I returned to the outpost my plan was to start investing all my current XP into protection, so what could I do? Start wearing armor as soon as possible. I need to get to level five because at level five you can start wearing iron armor and without iron armor I felt very vulnerable so I wanted to get to level five as quickly as possible and Since it was night, I thought there would be a group of citizens plagued that would appear, so I left the safety of my outpost and went out to heal, yes, I went out to heal them, there are so many that keep appearing, okay?

I'll tell you right now, when you go out and listen in the dark, yes, people coughing and spitting up phlegm and vomiting, it sounds absolutely disgusting and it's actually pretty terrifying. It reminds you that this plague is actually viral and that if one of these things touches you you can get infected and that's exactly what

happened

to me wait wait a second I'm infected oh no oh no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no okay uh uh, this is not good for curing the infection, all you have to do is eat a golden apple and you know, hey, The Outpost had gold, it had a big golden block in there too I had some apples, oh, once, a small one.
But the problem is that I can't use an iron pickaxe and therefore I couldn't mine that golden block right now. I had been spending all my XP on defense and absolutely nothing on Mining, and Mining is the trait that allows you to use an iron pickaxe, so I had everything I needed, but I didn't care that I couldn't get the gold block, so my new priority and I wouldn't say priority, my new need was to get mining to level five, otherwise, uh. the infection was going to kill me as time goes by, more and more infected citizens will appear at the moment, there are not that many, which is normally good, but in this situation it is not very good because I urgently needed XP and there they were not enough to get the XP I needed and I was starting to think okay, I could finish this on the first day, but when the timer hit zero I didn't die, the infection just went to phase two.
The bad thing, now all my stats are weakened and I move a little slower, not to mention all the plagued citizens are nowhere to be found. I guess the plague is still spreading through the kingdom or something. I need to get a few more people infected, so I went. underground to look for more and I ran into another problem. I can't make torches yet because you need flint and steel and I can't make flint and steel because it's flint and steel, not flint and iron is flint and steel, so I had no way to light the unlit torches, however, I was able to steal some already lit torches from The Outpost and bring them underground with me.
Yeah, I found a citizen on a wall, so I healed him up and then realized there was an opening I could go through. jump, so it took me to a clap mind system, a very dangerous area, but when I was already going to die if I didn't act, I was okay taking this risk, so I continued through the mind desperately trying to level up. as fast as I could and I was getting there, but I wasn't getting there fast enough and then I just got teleported randomly at that moment. I didn't realize it, but I had stepped on a plant, an Ender plant or something that teleports you. to a nearby place and put me in a different part of the cave and I was completely confused.
I have no idea what just

happened

there. They just completely teleported me to another place. Time was ticking and I still wasn't getting enough experience, but then I remembered. you can mine everything for XP so I started mining as much coal as I could and I didn't realize but the infection timer ran out and I went to stage three which is the final stage, at this point you are very weak, You know? One Touch will almost kill you not to mention you're practically walking at this point, but I was just one level away from being able to use an iron pickaxe.
I just needed to get my XP to level seven. I found a way out. I entered the cave and

spent

the night looking for healing citizens and then found a group that healed them by opening their hands and with that I finally had enough XP to use an iron pickaxe, but by the time I got back to the outpost that was it. I was being attacked by more plagued citizens when I entered I saw that two villagers who were there had been infected. I guess I'll heal them as soon as I heal myself, but first I leveled up my mining made with an open iron pickaxe. the ingots took out the gold, made the golden apple and finally cured my infection, now it was time to otherwise cure the people who lived in this outpost before me, it's too late for you, oh really, I had to do it, let's go. infected again abroad in the morning I went to mine more iron so I could focus on getting armor.
I went back to the mine I was in the night before and, uh, almost right next to where the entrance was, there was a chest, oh, torches, lit torches too and the golden apple that's been here the whole time, okay, I could have, you know, at least I have one now in case of another infection, so it's okay, I was down there for a while getting as much iron and XP as I could I can touch why I'm on fire now what are they getting rid of? okay, okay, there are fire plants down here. I break them with a can, oh, it's interesting, they are called ash flower, oh, no, it's not exactly on topic but you know what I mean it's desperate I'm in ERS foreigners are spiders becoming a problem the world I just want this iron I'm going to get out of here oh no here you go I just want the iron foreign spiders just get out of this cave before you die where's the exit later that night?
I was starting to organize my things in a chest. My plan was to leave this place soon and start looking for a more permanent life and build an absolutely beautiful mansion. but while I was doing that I realized that a blood moon was rising no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no blood moon we don't need to have the blood moon, I just want to give myself a break please, I don't even know if I'm ready for a blood moon here, the plague hasn't spread too far yet okay, so at this point the blood moon wasn't super.
Dangerous, I didn't think many plagued citizens would appear, but it was still a good opportunity to get as much XP as possible, regardless of the fact that I only had one golden apple and I didn't want to get infected again when I had some armor. I'm out fighting the infected citizens and hoping to get some XP by this point. I was able to equip iron armor, so I felt a little better about this, but I still did it. I did not want to. I did not want to. to get infected, right, I just heard my first foreign one, no, um, so I said I was infected again, okay, there goes that golden apple, that's a big waste, right, but you know, at least I had found it because otherwise I would be in the same position I had just been in, where I was desperately searching for things and racing against the timer, however, it also means that I am out of medication and that if I am infected, it could be life-threatening. , so I needed. to be a man who was very careful at this point, very, very careful even though I grabbed all my things and left this area.
I didn't want to be in this Valley anymore. I was looking for a better place to build, so I left Hubashi Valley. What have I written in the script? Don't know. I crossed some dark woods. I got on a boat and sailed along the coast until I saw a biome I liked, which looked something like this. I don't know what it looked like. like Westfall from World of Warcraft and I like it a lot, so yeah, I saw some turkeys too, it was good, hey, turkeys gobble, gobble, okay, this seemed like a perfect area for a guy like me.
I love it, this is good and for once in a 100 Day Video I knew exactly where I wanted to build and it wasn't day 67 when I realized I was here, this place was absolutely beautiful. I loved it, so I kept looking around a bit to find the exact spot. perfect location and I found a brick house but I've stayed in one of these things before in my 100

days

in the Arctic video so I didn't want to do it again but I grabbed some supplies and stayed looking I found this Tower that would be perfect for now, so I climbed to the top, put up a bed and made myself comfortable.
This would be my temporary base while I built my mansion. Look at this. This is absolutely perfect. The next order of business was to get weapons at this time. He could only use stone weapons and he wanted to be able to use iron weapons and not just iron weapons. I wanted to be able to use special medieval iron weapons like great swords and halberds and the weapons of the great ones. Alright I wanted to use them so I needed to get more XP and I also needed to find cows to get leather so I could make kilts and poles which were needed for the upgraded weapon so I went out to find cows and the cow where they are cows in hey there a perfect one I need your leather oh don't drop the leather cow you're going to give me leather you understand maybe there's something I'm not I'm not going to get leather this is what we need smoke I can turn meat into leather and anyway you just dropped the leather, well, you've always been able to do that in Minecraft.
Turns meat into leather. I like that, although he just threw something in the smoker. Smoke. You know, I'm going to make a smoker instead of an oven. I'm going to do this more realistically, let's see how a smoker is made. I'm doing a smoker for sure. I actually have a smoker in real life and I haven't used it in a couple of weeks, but I love smoking. Very good meats. I often think that if I didn't make a gaming channel and an airsoft channel that you should subscribe to, okay, you'll subscribe. I would love to do a cooking channel.
Forge Labs Meats, come get them. Meats with mustard. let's cook them cooking with mustard it's good, it's good, yeah, that would be slogans, maybe I'll make a smoker on the cooking channel, that's right there, the beauty of this thing, we throw it there, we throw it there, give me some . After that, I did some good things. I made a special iron sword. There we go absolutely beautiful and I go to bed before a nasty cough sets in. If he wanted to build a giant mansion, there was absolutely no way to do it with stone tools. I wanted to use iron tools and like everything else, armored weapons and pickaxes, I also needed to increase my construction skill enough to be able to use iron material, and that was what the next focus was on and for a brief moment I thought that The The best way to get XP to do this would be to go to the dungeon that was under the brick house I found, however once I was there I remembered that I didn't have any golden apples there if a zombie touched me.
I would probably be infected and probably die, so I left. I don't know how I could forget something like that. I was an idiot so I changed my focus to mining to try to get gold because without gold. I'm basically going to be a dead man so I started mining and got about halfway to where I would start finding gold but I ran out of torches so I went back and then I remembered I can't make any more torches. torches extinguished and to doTorches would need flint and steel, not flint and iron, it had to be flint and steel and you can see how a simple thing can get out of hand.
The good news is that steel wasn't the only way. To light torches, you can also make a matchbox, so I went and got some bamboo, turned it into paper, and then combined the paper with wooden slabs, which gave me a matchbox. Then I used that matchbox to light all the torches at once. mixing them with the matches and then I had a whole stack of torches I could use. The problem is that these torches, even though they are lit, will eventually go out and I will have to turn them on again even after placing them, although it is a lot of work. a man, a lot, a lot of work for a man in this medieval world, but with all that out of the way, I was finally able to start looking for gold again, so I went back to the mine the next day and when you're, when you're down in the mine In the dark and you only hear this, how deep is this place?
Do you hear that? Oh come on, I went deeper and went down to level nine and mined a little until I found an opening. oh oh, that sounds worse than I've ever heard in my life, okay, here we go falling from abroad. I am absolutely terrified of doing what I have to do, oh man this is not like doing this abroad just to make sure I have everything. pray as best I could from both veins, with enough security to make another Golden Apple in case I got infected again and wanted to look around a little more while I was down there, what are you going to do?
Uh-oh, okay, time to move on. Here, okay, I heard a lot of them, it's time to go, okay. So, I currently have defense at five, attack at five, rally at three, and Mining at five. I need to lift this. I need to be able to use the iron pickaxe. I wanted to find a town because if I found a town I could start doing a lot of really good things, so I started searching the nearby area and didn't find anything to the right of the Tower, so I got on a boat and sailed in front of En The Tower and I didn't find much air either, but the good news was that there was a ton of coal that we would both need to build things, but it was also a good place to gain a lot of experience, which again I still couldn't use iron tools like axes and shovels, which yes, I was absolutely going to need if I was going to build this massive mansion.
After getting all the coal I could, I was able to level up to level four, which is close, but I'm not there yet. I just need one more level when I get back to my side of the lake. I researched some. There are some strange plants that bring back pile after pile after pile. What is this? Oh wow, what's the point of Jam? I can get rid of those I then spent the night killing. I mean, sorry, I healed a bunch of plagued citizens to get my experience to level seven so I could get my building to level five in the morning, I spent it all and finally I made an iron ax and with an iron ax I was able to start the long process of collecting a ton of wood, but here's the problem with the trees in I guess in this mod they are not normal trees, you can't. just slash upwards and then make the tree disappear.
Trunks are everywhere on the giant bush of a tree, so you cut, cut five and then look to your left and there are about seven more hidden in the leaves. you start placing other wood it's just to cut down a tree it takes like five minutes it's a long and exhausting process that a guy like me just doesn't have the patience for regardless of the fact that I spent all day cutting down these trees this is crazy these are the most annoying trees in the world to cut down strangers, the wood never ends like it's more and more wood, oh my god, I keep cutting down wood to get more wood, it was the 10th, which meant it was a plague night and for So I needed to make sure I was prepared for it, so I spent the entire day repairing the tower by melting iron to make bars and using those bars to make a nice safe perimeter around where I would later leave, so this was just a big waste of time I don't know why I bothered to do this I also fixed the floor I did a lot of things to secure it here big waste of time because as night fell I just climbed up on the roof and prepared for the plague spread event I'm an idiot I'm a complete idiot I'm a complete complete and I got infected too I'm fine, okay, thanks, okay, okay, there's a lot more there than I thought foreigners, oh come there's another massive group oh there's more there's more coming this way alien alien there's another group there's another horde coming oh there's another group why do they shrink in the middle I just want this XP look how many there are there are more there too instead of To heal myself I made an iron short sword and dumped all my XP on it attack and then I went down to the ground and started fighting the Horde that had followed me to my tower for more XP, they are still here, they followed me. get to my tower, it will take too long after hitting them and cutting them for a while, I realized that it was going to take forever to kill all these plagued citizens like this, so I healed myself, jumped off the tower and tried to lure them .
Abroad, look at them, come all down here. I'm going to put them in the hole. More are coming. I don't know. I'm going to put everyone in this hole. I've put two in and come on, come back. There are too many. Alien I managed to get them all into this pit I had dug, uh, where I was then able to safely kill him with all that out of the way. I was finally able to shift my focus to the next phase which was to gather the absolute load of building materials I would need to build the Mustard Mansion.
It occurred to me right now, so I spent a good part of that afternoon mining Cobblestone because I was going to need a lot to get all this Cobblestone. I was going to need a lot of tools, tons and tons of tools, so the next day I was making some new ones and minding my own business. I hear someone vomiting downstairs, someone just vomited down there, you wake up and you hear a man vomiting, oh, I'm infected. again, do you hear that? Okay, that was a miss, this is after this apple. I have to find more gold, so I had enough gold.
How many apples do I have? Don't touch me, don't touch me. This is missing and there goes my there. goes the last Golden Apple. I had plenty of time to stop working on the mansion and focus on getting gold again. A man who has gold on his mind, like all he could do, especially now where the infection rate is even higher, is almost a guarantee that If one of these things touches you, you will contract the plague and without gold it would be a dead man, so my focus now had to be on getting gold once again, but the good news was that since I was focused on mining anyway, I could probably kill two birds with one hit, like Kim always says, and get my cobblestone and my gold at the same time, although the problem is that there are many, many citizens plagued in the mines and I am not.
I know why they are down there I don't know why they always go down I can't plug in properly I have a mine without getting the plague very, very afraid to do that oh oh because they are relaxed oh oh Come on, bye, surprised, I can even find this foreigner. I was encountering many plagued citizens there and felt like I was pushing my luck, so I left. I also ran out of torches and due to the realistic torch mode I couldn't. just make torches. I was a man who had to do some work, you know, I also wanted to put on diamond armor as quickly as possible, but to do that I needed level 16 in defense, which was significantly higher than the level 5 that was required to wear armor.
Iron level 16 defense requires like the equivalent of 45 levels of normal Minecraft XP that was a lot for a guy like me, so for now, you know what I said, 45 levels, I have no idea what it was just I guess that's a lot of XPS I mean, so for now my approach with the XP I was gathering would be to pour it into defense and try to get it as high as possible as quickly as possible the next day I shoot. get out the door, you have to get it out, you get out the door, you have to go fast, you have to run out the door, otherwise some guy will vomit on you and then you will carefully cut down trees to get more wood so you can make torches and then resume mining so I can get gold and the cobblestone I was going to need to build the mustard mansion these trees, you're driving me a little crazy.
I'm starting to get a little high, a little crazy. When cutting down all these extravagant trees, they had random trunks hidden among the leaves and, as you'll see later, I ended up with a galaxy of floating leaves around my mansion, probably a nice little piece of wood somewhere in there, that's what . you are doing, what are you doing? Oh, it's almost my turn. I can't be touched by these things currently without golden apples, even cutting down trees outdoors is a high risk activity because if one of those disgusting plagued citizens who find a better word sneaks up on you. behind me and it touches me, I'm dead, so even cutting down trees right now was a high risk thing to do, but I felt like I felt safe enough because I was listening.
I felt like a man with the biggest ears in the world listening for any small The sound I could hear and constantly check around the trees still bothered me, so I used flint and mixed it with steel, not iron. I got steel by smelting iron and now I had a flint and steel which I then used to treat. with the floating leaves setting several trees on fire and causing a controlled forest fire here. I was hoping to get rid of some of the strange leaves much better, much better, well the next day I guess the fires had attracted some unwanted ones. attention uh which is not great because I still don't have gold and therefore a way to cure myself if I get one of these things where they come from they better not come here where you go oh turn around there is nothing for you, look at this guy's face and he's bleeding on one side, there's a lot of random stuff.
I hope they disappear after seeing I knew I was going to need to fight my way out of the Tower, so I made an iron halberd. You're not familiar with some of my other videos. The halberd is a beautiful and absolutely beautiful weapon. This thing has range, so I don't need to get close to these disgusting creatures. I can, I can skewer them, I mean, heal them. It is perfect. Okay, it does a lot of damage too, it's also a two-handed weapon, which means that while I'm using it I can't use a shield and therefore I'll get like 700 comments from people telling me to use a shield now, right?
Why didn't I keep going? and leave a comment saying wow I can't believe this man is so brave that he doesn't use a shield only a real brave man like this man wouldn't use a shield in the face of such danger because shields are for cowardly people who hide behind a steel wall , but not this man, this man is what I'm saying now just focus on the video, this is not so unnecessary. Halbert is a good weapon, he's fine and I'm glad I have one of these things. I finally went back to mining. but this time he was only bringing Cobblestone closer to the surface.
I didn't want to go too deep yet because I probably would. I'll be honest. I was scared. Well, I was the coward hiding behind the iron. I was afraid. I was going to get infected and lose everything I'd done so far and have to start this whole video again, but you know, sometimes a guy has to take a risk or something anyway. I spent the whole day grabbing as many cobblestones as I could. I could be here on the surface in the morning, while out looking for more wood, I found another one of those outposts. Uh oh, the good news, there's gold there.
The bad news, it seems this has been overrun by plagued citizens, so I have to be. be very careful when getting the gold because otherwise there's no point because I'll just get infected and then I'll have to use the gold I found which isn't ideal so I jumped over the wall and secured the place, I looted it uh see what these guys do guys. I may have to trade with them, but in order to trade with them I need Emerald, so I thought I'd use the oldest trick in the book where I trade sticks with a Fletcher.
He seems like an idiot who keeps buying your clubs, but then I did the Fletching table and this guy had no interest in becoming a club buyer. I guess it's because I'm on 1.12, but this ended up being a huge waste of time. However, I got the gold, so when you get gold you can sigh. of relief, you know, a breath of gold, that's what I always say, yeah, it's pretty good. I returned to the Tower and continued melting my cobblestone as needed. I was going to turn all of this into stone bricks, but I want you to do it.
Take a look at this chest right here, I have 14 apples at this point, that's a beautiful amount of apples, take a look at it, hey, put it in your brain, look Sean has 14 apples, well, because I won't be making them soon. I have 14 apples because somehow I am going to lose this and I want to know when and where I lost theseTo finish the basic shape, I went back and removed some stone bricks and replaced them with moss covered stone bricks. I had stolen from my tower because I thought this would look a little better and also because that's exactly what the guide told him to do, so I didn't think he told me to do it.
I don't know why I'm trying to say that, I guess I'm saying that the next step was to add more oak logs around the perimeter of this thing to give it some depth and not be a boring flat wall and I learned something here. I always assume that what you did on the outside you would have to do on the inside, so these oak logs would have to be replicated inside in exactly the same positions, just mirrored, but this design doesn't allow me to do it cleanly, so which I never would have done. I tried to build something in this shape, which is silly because clearly it can be built in this shape.
It turns out that it is not necessary to put the trunk inside in the same position. I don't know if that makes sense, but I learned something. Anyway, it was good to know. I lifted all the logs and lit some torches around where I was working. Look how many zombies are there. We're going to get rid of them all tomorrow. I lift the door correctly. You need a door, what is a house without a door? It's not a house, it's just a bunch of things, that's what I always say, okay, so I installed the door, I put it here, I close it and I put it on a cobblestone. lock it, uh, then I used a spruce gate right here.
The next thing was to bring in the walls or raise them, make them higher and put in more doors and some windows. The tutorial called for using black stained glass, which I didn't even do. I know you could do stained glass windows in Minecraft, so I looked up how you do it, turns out you have to go. Kill some octopuses, so I killed an octopus. I bought the ink bag. I used the ink bag on the glass that I bought from the beach. Do not care. You already know how glass is made well. I'm not going to explain that.
I have this black stained glass, but when I put it down, yeah, I didn't really like the look of it, I think because of the shaders I'm using on it. It just didn't look right, it didn't look like glass, so I'll probably change it later, make a small change, but it was the 30th and how could I forget what that meant? I wanted to say that it was a plague night and nothing. Something interesting happened, although I fought them from the safety of my tower now that I know the size and layout of the house. I started my farm the next day.
I was running out of food, so this farm was pretty crucial to prepare me. working, but it's just a farm. I don't need to explain that it's very boring. Okay, I left the water and then added the crops around the water. I started growing them. This is more interesting. Look at this. windows okay, put some windows around the place, although I don't like the black black glass at this point, I still mix them up to get the job done, you know, I put the rest of the windows in, added some hatches and How to raise the walls with a few more blocks.
I was trying to use a mixture of stone bricks, uh, moss and something like, I guess, polished stone. I don't know what it's called, just to give it a little more texture. Well, look. all these guys that were hanging on me I had to kill all those plagued citizens, I mean I cured them all and there were a lot of them. I was starting to get stressed, but not when things were calmer, although I resumed work. In the mansion the next step was to add some inverted stairs which would later become a balcony, then it was time to start adding crenellations as a molding or border for this and that was done by laying a flagstone pattern. and stone bricks, lastly there were Spruce planks that would act as the floor, then I continued to trim the entire design with these Spruce planks which I assume would be covered later, but I had no idea how that was going to happen, this was another stuff. which I never would so I was excited to see how Chunk MC was going to cover wait his name his name isn't Chunk he's big Tony why I wrote M for Chunk who is Chunk doesn't matter I was excited to see how this would be covered and where it was going this because I was learning a lot here the next day.
I just continued doing this, added more wood trim, uh, then this was followed by breaking my legs repeatedly increasing the height of the oak log supports, oops and! Once I got those nice tall oak log towers I had to put some horizontal oak clogs on them to make it look nice and that's what I did, but when I got back to my tower that night I got some. disturbing news blood moon no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no what are you doing here taking potions my poor house is not ready yet but everyone They're spawning there, they're going to the corner because that's where the water is or something, a whole group of them are coming this way, why are they grouping there?
There are so many coming, look at this, oh, I already took care of the blood. Moon safely killing all the plagued citizens from inside my tower with a halberd and I was very happy to get all that XP which would be very, very useful. The sun is coming out. How many zombies have been there? Well, now I do this, put this here and That's okay, how's it going everyone? I have some work to do. I was getting a little fed up with these torches going out, so I don't know if I mentioned this before. I went and stole a redstone lamp from one of the In the dungeons, this thing is cool because it doesn't turn off, which is very useful.
So I placed it outside the mansion and now I have a little light source out here. It's not very pretty, but at least it will keep the place nice and bright, the next phase was to build the other balcony, yes, in the front to frame it, I placed oak logs and extended them outwards to the two oak logs that I placed in front to the building, then the next step was to place spruce slabs in the spaces that would act as the floor. I like the look of this, it's very clean, it's got depth, it's got a good amount of area.
I usually make oversized balconies, so I'll make a note that my balconies don't need them. to be gigantic flat surfaces, you can just have an Ice Point balcony like this. You might also be thinking, hey, you know all that gold gear you get from zombies, what are you doing with that Shawn? You're using that and the answer is yes, of course. I'm taking all the gold I get from all the distressed citizens and putting it in a furnace and melting it into gold nuggets that I can then turn into nine to get a single gold brick.
It wasn't much but any amount of gold is useful right a man always needs gold everything he needs on his chest and don't worry about me I'm a man who takes care of myself talking about it before I go That night when I went to bed , I used the XP I had obtained from the blood moon to bring my defense to level 16, yes, finally to level 16, which means I could finally use diamond armor, so I made a chess piece and the helmet and then went back to work the next day on day 35 I needed to make some of the vertical oak logs look better so spruce ladders were used to make this look a little better and again I learned that instead of forcing the types of wood are all the same, you can sometimes get a better combination in this case using fir stairs and oak logs, you get a very similar color and therefore it combines very well and speaking of mixing, I mixed the brains of this man placing a halberd on it.
I continued putting in stairs once they were done, I made the front door look much better by replacing some of the dirt with pavers to give it a dirtier stone look, a nice little entrance. Day 36, speaking of 36, my legs had finally healed from breaking them 36 times before, so I broke them. 36 times more by lifting more oak logs, what I learned here was that you can try to fool the construction by not placing these logs directly on top of the ones touching the ground; They're actually a block back, which is good because sometimes it makes my build look bad at the expense of them having to make physical sense in the sense that the log has to be on top of a log, but it doesn't have to. .
I don't know why I made myself do that. Previously the next phase was putting up the proper walls, but this is where my first challenge was with this tutorial to get the medieval look. The second floor of the mansion needed some type of white wall. The guide wanted me to use calcite, except in this version of Minecraft. Calcite doesn't exist so I thought I would use polish, what is polish called? Diorite diorite Dior. It's just that I'm an idiot. I can't read diorite. I thought about using this because it was nice. in white, but when I put it down I didn't like the way it looked at all, yeah, I don't know about that, but you know, thank goodness I randomly installed a bunch of medieval mods in this mod pack, one of them included. all these blocks that were perfect for this, to make them you need a building tool which was just two sticks and some stone, then you put wood on top and boom you have Wood, it starts out as Plain Wood, but if you run it through the crafting bench several times and you can get different patterns.
I made two patterns, one of them with an X and the other was simple, I tried both and decided I like the instead of calcite in this build, so I continued building my Nightfall. I'm almost done, I started to look good, I started to look very, very good. Zombie come bite me, I mean a plagued citizen, yeah I can hear the miracle, wouldn't it be a nice night. without me, very good impression, huh, almost like I did all the voices for these things on day 37, a very simple day, I just did some farming and something else, honestly I don't remember what I did, I just farmed the next one layer and required a little more.
The spruce played, so I trimmed the entire structure with spruce boards and then it was at the front door. The front door had a high ceiling with a steep roof. They made it. I needed to build further up with the wooden frame blocks in an almost triangular shape. pattern where each row gets a little bit shorter and shorter, so I just followed the guide and did what the man told me to do and in the end it looked great, it was much taller than what I had normally built. I always feel like I'm not building high enough, so it's good to know that if you think you're going high, go higher.
However, I made a few small mistakes which I later fixed and then started on what would later become the big window that left Lyden. and it was necessary to raise the walls around the rest of the structure to make them even taller, which I did with more wooden blocks. Lastly, I needed the back of this spot to match the front, so the back wall needed to go higher, except for this one. Instead of being one large window, there would be two doors, making it the largest Minecraft house you have ever built. Look at that incredible mansion.
The next step was to carry even higher oak logs. These things were getting a little crazy. really good, although this burly man MC or Tony, a very talented man, knows exactly how to make things look good and this place looked very good. However, I needed more wood, so, more spruce stairs, we needed a lot of that stuff, these arches were getting tall and the higher things got the harder it was to work. I look great with that look. I spent most of the day cutting down trees making this useless scarecrow and then making the front of the mansion look good.
I needed the front oak logs. to be higher and instead of breaking my legs again, I took a bucket of water and put it down so I could jump into it and after that I knocked down some of the cross beams and it looked pretty good and pretty good uh. The next step was to add a flower bed under each of the windows but this burly man MC I was creative and very easy on just placed a block of grass, however when you're me and you're playing survival with a group of plagued citizens. around you, uh, it's not that simple, you have to use normal land and then you have to build a ladder up to that land, so that's exactly what I did, no, actually I didn't.
I just left it and I guess I thought grass was grass. it would eventually grow on it, so hey, it was also a plague spreading night, so I had to fight off a horde. I cured an absurd amount of plague on the citizens that night. There is a foreign possibility of spreading by contact right now, so basically if any of these. things that have touched me so much I became an infected man I didn't want that to happen no no no no hey this this wasn't good I only had one Golden Apple left and with that infection it would mean that I wouldn't have any and without any A single touch of gold of a plague citizen would probably mean death if I spent the rest of that night fighting them and ate my golden apple in the morning.
I needed to change my focus now to getbuckets, I raised it, I filled the traps. I was a man who carried buckets of lava. and get out of here preparing for the last day, the 100th day. where it was going to be a total siege, here we go. I've been in this position before to be staring at a horde of death, but I didn't. run I'm just talking about I've run almost every time one of my seems to be working I don't want to go on that side I want to stay on this side here they come here they come it seems that' You're falling into the trap, this guy is thinking about him, yeah, He decided that you know what I'm going to do because of the traps on TNT, you see, why are these citizens plagued?
Are they stupid? I don't know, the plague affects his brain like that man just walked in, actually, uh, it's actually going pretty well. I'm very surprised by this, look what's going on here, this guy is a little stupid, they're still trying, okay? yes they can break, oh I forgot, they can break my left one. Save it. Okay, they're totally in. They are totally in. What do they do? What are they doing?. I'm going to eliminate you the moment you come down, take one more step up here, foreigner. I spent hours building this Fortress. The Trap seems to lead some of them astray.
I don't want my room to be destroyed by infected people again. Okay, I have to endure this infection. to the end stop breaking the walls you have no idea how long this has been building I have to get them away I have to go I have to get away as many of these things as I can tomorrow I will repair the damage let's look away from them I don't even know if that golden apple or is emerging from lava. I just got it. I got infected again. I don't know if this is going to work. Okay, foreigner, get out of my house.
There is no reason for you. guys, everyone be there, I'm not there, you love me right, I'm here, just stay, it gets to me, just stay away from what I spent hours building, these guys come walking with another guy, look at this. How are you running towards him? Infection is fine too, once he gives me an infection three I have to eat the apple and if it doesn't work I have no idea what I'm going to do. I need another great sword. I can get home if I can make another great sword. I can survive the rest of the night.
They are breaking something. They are breaking something. Alright. I need to see the walls removed. Infection three. I don't know if this will work. It works well. it stopped immediately it stopped breaking up my house it's day 100. come on, come on, oh yeah, but I think thank you, okay, seven pieces of gold. I'm going to need that one stick, I need these seven minutes and the cold switch, well, it's not enough, it's not enough. It's the 100th day. foreigner
