podcast

to remember, to laugh and maybe even to fall asleep. *deep breath* Well, that was the introduction. Everyone already knows what it is and I have to hurry! "Hey Kaddi, when is the new sync coming out? I mean, the new part of the podcast?" "You said it comes out every two weeks or at least once a month" "So where's the new episode now, huh?" Thank you for your great interest and your impertinent questions.

Enjoy episode 5. In this episode we start with Harry and Hagrid riding the subway and end with Hagrid giving a mysterious letter to an elf. As described in the last episode, we are still on the red Central Line with Harry and Hagrid. Made of fun! Dumbledore said in the first book, when asked if Harry's "completely disfiguring" lightning scar could be removed simply with magic, scars can sometimes be useful too, he himself has one above his left knee, which is a Perfect map of the London Underground system. . Harry is still reading the list he had in his Hogwarts letter of everything he needs for school.

More Interesting Facts About,

5 minuten harry podcast 5 soup soup soup...

Among them: "Three layers of work, a magic wand, and protective gloves made of dragon skin." Then Harry gets confused and asks Hagrid, "Uh, you mean a real dragon?" and Hagrid then replies "totally super funny": "They're hardly referring to a penguin, are they?" Hahaha penguin! Lolololol Highfive Super funny Hagrid! The guitar riff! Bllblui But there's no guitar riff... There's about three seconds of silence, just an awkward silence, where no one laughs at this... fantastic penguin joke. Not even a polite laugh from Harry! And Hagrid then breaks the silence by briefly saying Ha. Harry's laugh is, as we saw in the last podcast, silent, so in the German dub it had to be accompanied by a childish laugh, because in the original there was simply no Harry's sound, but simply smiling widely, and since the camera was focused on Hagrid the entire time, we couldn't see Harry's face.

Maybe he's laughing out loud! Only we don't hear it at all because it's just a silent *breath*. By the way, Daniel Radcliffe's real laugh is the nerdiest I've ever heard. When you watch interviews of his and he finds something funny, it starts with that silent face contorted into a laugh and then when it gets REALLY funny it changes to a hue hue heuhue tone And it's not even a "ha" but just a repeated expulsion of air . In this scene where Harry reads the letter and his face is shown in close-up looking at Hagrid in surprise, I have the feeling that this time he has green eyes.

Maybe it's the dim subway light, but I think I read that Daniel Radcliff wore green contact lenses from time to time. I was already "annoyed" by the fact that Harry's eyes in the book are actually green, but Daniel Radcliff's are blue. So you've thought about it. He was actually supposed to wear green contact lenses and that was supposed to be the case throughout the movie, but he had an allergic reaction to them so he couldn't see anymore and he had to squint the whole time and that made that filming was so difficult. It's hard for the...
Director to say, "Yeah, well, screw it, we'll leave it out then!" By the way, you can clearly see Daniel Radcliff's red, allergic eyes in a scene near the end of the movie. I hope to point that out when the time comes in the podcast, but I'll let you skip ahead and continue. close now Try to see for yourself the scene where his eyes are completely red. So they wanted to save Daniel the torture of having to wear contact lenses, which is why he sometimes has green eyes and sometimes blue eyes in the movie. And you probably also have J.K.
Rowling got in touch and said, "Listen, that's not possible. The eyes are just blue now. Is that bad?" And she said, "Oh, that's not bad. The important thing is that in the end his mother has the same eye color!" HAAAHAAAA And many times they say to Harry: "You have your mother's eyes." And then they cast a brown-eyed girl for the flashback scene in the last movie. You had ONE job... You ruined it. Okay, so Harry looks bewildered at Hagrid with his green eyes in this scene and, provoked by Harry's question about protective gloves made of dragon skin, he starts raving about how he'd like to have a dragon. ♫ Foreshadowing ♫ Maybe that's why they cut this scene, because as mentioned in the last podcast, this is a deleted scene so that the surprise that Hagrid actually has a little dragon is not anticipated.
Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler Hagrid gets a dragon Spoiler Then he talks about how cool dragons are and with the line: "These are misunderstood critters." He looks at the old woman who travels with them all the time in the compartment and shakes his head at her, as if to say: "You too, old woman, are a misunderstood creature." The old lady nods and continues reading her newspaper, Hagrid then looks at Harry with a very strange look and raised eyebrows, like, "Oh. My God. Wow! What kind of girl is she with her newspaper, hey?" By the way, the lady has medium-long, grayish blonde hair and is wearing a dark blue jacket.
Which sounds like a mix of "Blade" and "Laser" ↯ BLAZER ↯ But why do I say that? Why do I look at her clothes when she is a character who only appears here and never again? Oh, she wait and see, dear listener, we will see her again. Lady Blazer wants to come back! But for now, let's stay on the subway with Harry and Hagrid for a moment and take a look at what can be seen in the background. Because there are advertising posters diagonally on the subway wall behind Hagrid. An image of a sunflower once appeared with curved, yellow writing next to it, but you can't read it because it's not in focus and therefore too blurry.
But right behind Hagrid's head is another sign that can be seen better and it says something like "mpton Court Palac" "discover six acres" "de Beaut" "come out" And in this brief moment where Hagrid leans forward, Nod to the lady, you see a little more of the letters on the sign and see the word "Hampton." This is an advertisement for Hampton Court Palace, a castle in London, which also has a very large park around it. That's why “discover six acres of Beauty.” This is clearly a euphemism, since the six acres only refer to the castle and not at all to the enormous park that surrounds it.
By the way, an acre is an English unit of measurement to determine the area and 1 acre corresponds to approximately 4047 m². "approx" The total multiplied by 6 is 24,282 m² just for the castle! The surrounding gardens are another 60 acres. You can calculate for yourself how many steps you need to walk there. I wouldn't be willing to do it, no matter how BEAUTIFUL everything is. Harry and Hagrid are outside the tube in the next scene and we get a long shot of a shopping street they are walking down. There are all kinds of people around, in the foreground a man passes by with a wheelbarrow and boxes of fruit, on the left in the image there is a relatively large fruit shop.
And the vanishing point of the road is on the right side of the plane. And this is where Harry and Hagrid come into the picture. And who is with them? A woman with medium-long, grayish blonde hair and a blue suit. She's Lady Blazer! Would the public have noticed if they had been left out? No. But I'm always pleasantly surprised by how much thought went into this movie, even when it comes to little things, like a random lady who one day has her role as an extra on the train, where she does fantastic performances, like reading the newspaper and that again for a day just for this street scene so it can happen in the background.
Continuity! It's called something like that. Bravo! *claps* So now Harry and Hagrid are on their way to the Leaky Cauldron, which according to the book is on Charing Cross Road. This is also a street that really exists, but this scene was filmed here in "Leadenhall Market". This is a commercial market that consists of several alleys, as its name suggests. And the fruit shop that Harry and Hagrid pass by is called "John Kent Fruiterers." This store actually existed, but it's now closed, it closed in 2003, but this corner where the store was is number 39. You can see this briefly at the beginning of the scene for a few seconds, before the tracking shot up the number.
It is covered by a canopy. Next door there is logically a store with the number 38, which can be clearly seen in the film because the window itself has another HUGE 38 in the window. In front there are some chairs and tables, because in the shop at 38 Leadenhall Market there is a cafe with the creative name "The Market Cafe". In Leadenhall Market all the shops have their own house numbers and starting from this big 38, I did a bit of searching on Google Street View to find the exact location where filming was taking place and noticed an inconsistency. Harry and Hagrid walk there in this full shot.
Harry is on the side where this cafe 38 is, Hagrid is on the other. Harry is still reading in his letter about what utensils he has to bring with him, he can take an owl, a cat or a toad to Hogwarts and as he says they are very up to date with this 38 café. Then there is a close up of Hagrid. There can't be another recording of Hagrid either. Lolololol He is listening to Harry and in the background you can clearly see the numbers 45, 44. But if you now look on Google Street View what is on the other side of this café 38, where they are passing at this very moment.
So there is not the number 45 but 65! Number 45 is just around the corner on a completely different street! There is thus a clear change of place in the conversation, which of course the viewer did not notice at all due to the skillful editing technique. Both environments are located in Leadenhall Market. The distant shot was in Lime St. Passage and the close-up shot of Hagrid is in Bull's Head Passage. Or is it passage, passage? Passed! Passagé It doesn't matter... Harry asks Hagrid after reading the stupid list: "Can we get all this in London?" and Hagrid says, "You just have to know how to move!" And they head to the entrance of the Leaky Cauldron.
The entrance is a curved door that is completely dark with black wood and there is also a completely black sign hanging on top next to the door, but it suddenly takes on some color as soon as Harry and Hagrid approach. And it looks like magic! an image of a cauldron with a slightly gold background and on the cauldron it says "The Leaky Couldron" in gold letters. And this scene was also in the Passagé P-p-passage at Bull's Head? where number 45 is, in Leadenhall Market. The entrance to the Leaky Cauldron was still an empty, unused shop when the movie was made, and today this dark, magical door, which symbolizes the entrance to the magical world, is painted a lurid blue! and now there is an optician inside called "Glasshouse Optitians".
Huee that screams magic and sorcery... You could have made anything in the store, some coffee or something and then you call it "The cauldron that does not leak well done" so as not to violate copyright, and leave Harry there. Potter is a fan and you could make a lot of money and make a lot of people happy. ANYTHING could have been worn in this store, but no optician! Yes, with all my love for Harry Potter, even as a fanatic tourist, I don't have to go there now... By the way, the book says that the Leaky Cauldron is hidden completely discreetly between a bookstore and a record store. .
And although you only see the entrance to the Leaky Cauldron for a few seconds in the movie, what are the shops next to it? To the right is a bookstore, which can be recognized because it says "More books upstairs" on the front door and to the left is a record store called "Cyrille Sounds" where there is a stall with records in front of it. . Small detail that was mentioned in a half sentence of the book, that doesn't really mean much, and yet it was kept. Congratulations again to the film's set designers and congratulations to CYRILLE Nomberg, one of the film's illustrators, who MAY have subtly obscured her name in the film with "Cyrille Sounds." Hagrid opens the door to the Leaky Cauldron.
The viewer's perspective changes. Now we are inside this restaurant. And we see an almost burnt candle in the foreground in focus, then the focus shifts to the background where the front door is about to open and Hagrid and Harry enter. Soft music plays in the background, like what you might expect from a pirate ship, with a cheerful melody of accordion screeches and the rhythm of tin drums. But you don't see anyone playing this music, so either there's a live band somewhere that isn't being broadcast or "The Best Pirate Party Hits" is playing on a CD or some other magical music player in the Leaky Cauldron. .
They walk around the pub for a bit. Many funny characters sit at tables and bar stools. Everything is bathed in the dim light of candles. Only a ray of light coming through the roof window illuminates the room with half-timbered walls and peeling plaster that have not been restored for a long time. And you can literally see the stale air, since magicians are apparently not prohibited from smoking in restaurants. Byarrived at 5 minutes and, therefore, at the end of this episode. And I hope the next episode doesn't take as long to produce as this one because there aren't as many details.
I hope you hear me, you hear me, we'll all hear each other next time on the 5 Minute Harry Podcast. Bye bye! Därärädärärätä dirdlüpdädää Hey, you're still here. Did you know? You will be rewarded! Here are two outtakes. I kept them because I think they're stupid. And there are three ice creams on the table. Well, then *burps* that's probably Morty's store- *laughs* *English accent* Harry reaches out- Harry extends his hand to Quirrell Harry extends his hand to Quirrell- *laughs* Harry extends his hand to Quirrell, but Quirrell doesn't. narrows him.
Don't destroy it- Oh God! Until I receive this sentence...
