Oh, they were amazing, amazing, so we want to dig a little deeper and ask you a little bit about yourself. Do you think it's OK? Yeah, okay, so go ahead and tell us a little bit about yourself I'm, I trained jujits for Mother Teresa, I'm for the black belt and Anya Arizona for almost 16 years. I first arrived for Atlanta, Georgia and moved to Scottsdale. I was working for the MMA gym so I didn't get much respect there and I had to look for another Jimmy Mazza and I worked for another karate school but the problem is working for people you don't know much about paychecks and the type gave me two bad checks and finally my students get together and open my dream to me, so tell us a little about how you got into Jiu Jitsu.

You like fun I started Judo but I didn't like it because to pass the script you have to learn the name the truths and I didn't know it and and for me it's fine, it's not for me yes, my neighbor was kung fu It's violent now, but I I like to fight and I did kung fu for six years and I started in the UFC and suddenly, the little ones say that your kung fu is nothing.

I said there's no way you're going to prove it and you strangled me. Oh, okay, sorry. Listen to try it one more time, he pulled me out again, little guy and I said, "Okay, yeah, I need to learn this." That's how you know everyone has a similar story. It's like you walk in. You think you got it, but yeah, just, yeah, definitely, I'm trying. Find a gym for me and I go to a gym and the guy has a bamboo in his hand all the time people do it wrong. I don't want to train in this one.

I will go. They slept all the time. Okay, so I love it. this question and we want to know what life lessons you gave correctly, so what is it, what does it mean to you to me, is it my lifestyle, I love training Jiu Jitsu and Jiu-Jitsu. I feel like sometimes your life is more real. up the boy tries to strangle the boy Sunday's boy Buck escaping always tries to strangle you and says my life life sometimes you feel so good but sometimes right now yes, I know I've seen your students at competitions, I know they compete a lot, So how do you feel about the competition?
I think competition is for everyone, but not everyone is going to like it because if you have the pressure that you have, you feel that if you lose you will lose your family. Nobody like you anymore and you put more pressure on yourself. and competition teaches you how to deal when you're under pressure, when everyone's looking at you and you can't make mistakes, you have to be perfect, but sometimes you make mistakes for me, like if you call me to a challenge, I want, I want Accept the challenge, of course I want to do the best I can and perform as well and a competition like few call me to compete at your house.
I want to go, I want to be challenged and the competition is that wherever you go, you will find. new friends Okay, so what was your first competitive experience like? I know you're all a bit in the works, so we want to know your story. The fun thing about my first tournament. I had no experience in Juliet. I joined the gym like one. month like I had a tournament in a city next door oh I want to go and but I don't know much I want to learn and I didn't put so much pressure because I was new and the first time I knocked down The boy I left the boy I didn't know what to do and I got tired, yeah Yes, and the boy beat me.
I said, "Okay, I need to learn this because your guys should do really well in the competition." I've seen them leave. They do very well there, so what is the competition mentality? What do you tell your students so they don't worry when they are going to have fun and enjoy themselves a little? Imagine yourself in the gym training your friend and close your mind and walk away. have fun if you lose, everyone will love you and not, and don't feel sorry for yourself if you lose, you represent the team and go have fun, you make new friends and have competition classes or you run your school and your Academy that way or how do you like it prepare your students for a competition?
I like that, yes, no, I don't put pressure on the competition. I make the child the child and the adult. I want to compare, I want to focus on people and compete. I don't have a competition class because I feel like it's more like how can we do it like an open mat and more competition, but we can't do a competition class because we have some badass in computing and it will come out which is one of the most important lessons that you will learn. The competition has taught, you are never at the top, like uh, I don't remember the year I won the champion, the Pan American championship, I have like 10 fights, 10 submissions and I felt like the king of the world.
I should know everyone and I didn't automatically here, I have to beat like five in five seconds, yeah, like you, never, it's good, there are bad days, right, yeah, so what do you tell yourself after that ? Okay, right. I got this, okay. I have this like next time I have to be more prepared yeah now what advice if you can go back in time what advice would you give to your younger self or anyone who is watching this video and wants to start training Jiu Jitsu wants start competing, what is that? a piece of advice never compare yourself to others always try to find a way to improve for yourself don't look at your friend why did I win why did I lose do I always find a way?
I like too much of yourself and concentrate on what you are listening to Concentrate on how you train how you use your time wisely well and to finish the
