There are also some other craft videos, not on Mondays, but I'll be doing them on Thursday, so if you want to learn some new techniques make sure to join me, thanks for watching, okay, you need some cotton fabric, some craft materials denim, some belts, some wool. a pair of dollar tree slippers, you may need some ribbon, some faux fur, you will need a stick, you need a pair of noodles for your hair, some beads for your hands and nose, some decoration, some weights and a cone, okay, the first thing I did I cut an eleven and a half by eleven and a half piece of fabric and then I'm going to place my cone right in the center because I want my stripes right in the front and you're going to start pinning with pins at the top. of the cone as close to the cone as possible, but be sure to start at the top so it doesn't move on you.

This way you can use almost any size cone you want. This is just making your own pattern for your cone once we have that there I'm going to go ahead and cut up the top half an inch from that cone and then cut the top off then go ahead and unpin it and I'm I'm going to go ahead and take my fabric, leave it folded across from each other and I'm just going to glue it closed that way, we'll have a nice seam on the back, okay, next I'm going to go ahead and take it and put it on the cone leaving it inside out, pull it down as far as you can and then we're going to go ahead and fold that other seam that we just did over the fabric so it's not wrinkled on the back and then just glue it all the way down, then I'll put a band elastic around the top just to keep it in place and then I'll go ahead and fold the fabric back and fold it. back to about a quarter of an inch from the bottom of the cone and then I'm going to cut all the way around leaving just a half inch for it, okay, so go ahead and take your fabric and tuck it in so that We're going to have a fold of a quarter of an inch twice because you don't want any of the raw edges to show, so just take it in and glue it all the way around, remove the elastic band and then go ahead and finish gluing the dots. that you didn't understand and then we're going to go ahead and turn it over, okay, we're going to set that aside, we're going to take the bottom of our cone, trace the circle on a little bit more fabric like the fabric you just made. use and then we're going to cut about a half inch off that circle because we're going to stick this on the bottom of the cone and on the sides, so take the glue, just put a little bit of glue on. the bottom of the cone and then go ahead and place it on the opposite side of the fabric, then go ahead and start adding those slots.

I'm using about a quarter inch slits all the way around and then we'll just glue them straight. get on that cone like this, if anyone ever turns the

over and looks at the bottom, you'll have a nice finished edge, okay, next we're going to go ahead and put our shirt back on our body, throw it away down and then we're going to go ahead and put another elastic band around the top and then we'll come back with some rick rack and we'll add an accent around the bottom edge and you can use whatever you want or as an accent. if you don't even have to add an accent if you don't want one, okay, next we're going to go ahead and make our shoes, you're going to take your noodles and it's a 5 8 inch noodles. 'We're going to measure two inches and we're going to cut two of them exactly the same length, then we're going to take a quarter-inch peg that's six inches and we're going to sharpen both ends and I'm just using a pencil sharpener, then we're going to take our miter cutter and we'll cut it to three inches and then we'll go ahead and put them on your noodles and those will be their legs, okay?

I'm going to go ahead and add some weights to your shoes at the bottom of the shoes. I'm using some 5 16 inch nuts and I'm only using two on each of them, that was enough and then I'll use one piece. of felt to put them over the bottom so just take your felt and glue your shoes to the felt and then we're going to cut around them okay just go ahead and cut it out and then cut between the two shoes. and then we're going to cut about a quarter inch around the bottom of that shoe on both of them and then we're going to cut little slits in the slits about a quarter inch around to glue them to the shoe and this.

It will give it a nice finished look when you have everything put together, just glue it directly to the shoe all the way up and around and then I'm using two two by six inch pieces of fabric to place around the shoe, if you want your shoes to look exactly the same you will need I cut the pattern in the same place now. If I had to change mine a little because it had a stripe in one direction and another in the other. So if you're wearing the stripe, you might want to pay attention to that.

We're going to go ahead and glue one side and then we'll take it and start at the back, gluing it inwards and then we'll just go all the way around at the bottom and then we'll go ahead and hem the other side and then we'll glue it on. , then I'll add a little bit of glue to the front and just push it back straight. and then we're going to fold the two sides in and glue them together, so fold them across the front like this and just add a little bit of glue under them and then go ahead and stuff all of that inside the shoe.

Same thing with the other shoe, so let's grab some tape. I'm just taking a quarter inch piece of tape and I'm just going to trim the bottom of the shoe with the tape. You can use craft foam or felt. whatever you want to do, just make sure you trim the bottom because it makes them look nice and stretch it out as you walk around so there are no gaps when you get there. the back just fold that ribbon and glue it on before you glue it on so it has a nice trimmed edge and it doesn't fray and do the same thing with your other shoe.

Next, let's take some. ribbon and we're just going to tie a little ribbon, a little bow and place it on the top edge of the shoe to make it look like it has laces, so next we'll do your pants that we're taking. a three inch by two and three quarter inch piece of fabric, we're just going to roll up the three inch side, go ahead and put a seam on the side, so that on one side you have a good seam for the back and just roll it up. up and do the same with the other one and we're going to make the noodles flush with the bottom, then we're going to take and cut little slits in slits about a quarter inch all around and then we're going to trim off any excess on the top. so that when you glue it it's flush with the top of that noodle, just go ahead and add glue all over the inside of the noodle and then push it down until it's flat and do the same with the other one, then Let's move on and attach it to the shoes, just go ahead and put a bunch of glue inside the shoe and glue each one on, make sure the seam is on the back, okay, let's go ahead and put them on. inside our noodles, just go ahead and push them in, centered and then push them in on the outside edge, probably about a half inch in on each side, okay, so we'll go ahead and pull them out again.

We're going to glue them on and cut the beard off, we're going to cut it to two inches long by two and a quarter inches wide and then we're just going to draw a U shape around it connecting the dots and then cut behind the faux fur just on the back all the way around. contour and then we will clean the excess with a comb. Next we will make our hat, we will fold it on the 10 inch side. go up a quarter inch and a quarter and cover it to the point, then open it up and then go ahead and glue it down.

Now there is a furry side and a non-furry side of the fleece I am making my hat. so the outside is the furry side okay so we'll take a pipe cleaner we'll cut two of them to six inches or you can just cut one in half I don't know what I was thinking here let's glue one on one side of the part back and then we're going to glue the other one on the opposite side on the back and then we're going to turn our edge up an inch and then we're going to glue that down just make sure it's even on all sides and just glue it on, then we're going to turn it outwards and I'm just taking some pliers and sticking them in there and you grab the end and pull it's really an

way to do this and then go ahead and make the point come back out next.

I'm going to take my gnome and I'm going to measure three and three quarters of an inch from the top edge and that's where I'm going to hold my beard, just center it there and then go ahead and take the hat, pull it down, you're going to lower it further back than forward and then we will lift it back. the hat and we're going to place the nose about a half inch from the top edge and then we're going to go ahead and attach the top of the hat to the top of the nose. Okay, next we're going to go ahead and do the arms, you're going to take one of the noodles, go ahead and pull out the wire.

We're going to cut them into two three inches long each and then we're going to put the wire back inside them and we're going to measure that at four inches and I'm using the hook end on both of them as the part that's going to go to the body, so go ahead , stick it on the noodles and stick the blunt end inside the bottom. flush with the bottom of both and then we'll go back in and glue the top as well, then I'll take my fabric on the two and a half inch long side. I'm going to go ahead and fold one side and hem it and do the same on the four inch side.

Then when you put the noodles in, make sure you leave enough room to put the ball in there for your hand. Go ahead and hit. Turn it on, turn it on and roll it loosely so you can still put the ball there for your hand, the bead there for your hand and then put the bead there and do the same thing with the other arm and then we're on. we're going to attach it to the gnome, we're just going to lift the top of this hat back three inches from the bottom, we're just going to make a slit in this on the noodles and then on the styrofoam, we're going to push it in and will. the same for both sides so we are going to glue them together now.
