So instead of helping Ed, he goes on a date with Amy. As Amy leaves him, she sees her mother flirting with her new neighbor, Jerry, so the two decide to come say hello. The two try to knock on the door, but there is no answer, so they enter and sneak out. As the two begin to explore the dark, empty house, Ed claims that Charley's new neighbor, Jerry, is a vampire. Ed and Adam had been conducting research on this for a while, and are now more than sure of Jerry's identity, one of the evidence being the fact that Jerry's windows are completely blacked out. He warns Charley to never invite Jerry to his house, because a vampire requires an invitation to enter. Of course, Charley finds this ridiculous, and the two start arguing about how much Charley has changed since he started hanging out with the cool kids, who, according to Ed., are nothing more than fake sluts.

In that sense, the two separate. Ed rides home on his skateboard, until the school bully, Mark, ambushes him, prompting him to jump over a fence to escape. Unfortunately, he finds none other than Jerry in the backyard at random, so he randomly makes his way into the house, thinking that Jerry wouldn't be able to get in. But he does it, because the house is abandoned. Jerry announces that he

knows

Ed has been watching him, as Ed begins to run up the stairs. He jumps out the window, but jerry is already outside waiting for him. Then Ed falls into a pool, and here Jerry simply tells him to calm down because what's going to happen is what's best for him.
He uses his mental manipulation powers to shake Ed's conviction, before sinking his fangs into his neck. The next day, Charley notices that Ed is not at school, so he decides to visit his house after him, but only finds his parents there. They welcome him with open arms and he asks them for permission to go up under the pretext of borrowing a book. Inside Ed's room, he finds a website for a vampire hunter named Peter Vincent. He also finds a series of videos that Ed discreetly took in front of Jerry's house, where we can see Jerry's car door moving on its own, proving that Jerry is not visible on camera.
This shocks Charley deeply and finally convinces him that what Ed was saying is true. When he returns home, Jerry suddenly appears and claims that he needs a favor; He has a girl but he's out of beers, so he asks her if Charley has a six-pack, to which Charley nervously replies that he does. Jerry follows him to the other side of the door, but, as expected, he doesn't enter. Charley searches his refrigerator for the six-pack while Jerry watches; He accidentally breaks a bottle and Jerry offers to help him clean it, but a scared Charley insists he can do it himself.
After handing Jerry the beer and closing the door, he heads upstairs, where Amy is waiting for him. Charley's mind is now too preoccupied with thoughts of Jerry, who runs to the window. He sees the arrival of Jerry's date for the night, who is none other than one of his neighbors, Doris. Charley forcefully pushes Amy onto the bed as Jerry looks at them. Amy has no idea what the hell is wrong with this guy and she decides to leave. Later that night, Charley is awakened from his sleep by the sound of a woman screaming, so he calls 911.
But after the police arrive, Jerry gently removes himself from the situation, saying that he simply made a woman scream. women. for pleasure. Charley watches this interaction with contempt and pays attention when Jerry gets into his car and drives away from him just after the police leave. Concerned for Doris's safety, he sneaks into the vampire's house and begins to look around her. He finds a badge hidden in Jerry's study and takes a photograph as proof. But before he could find out more, Jerry returns, forcing Charley to hide inside the closet. Surprisingly, here he finds a secret door that leads to a hall with several rooms, one of which is locked.
He looks through the peephole and finds Doris there, so he takes out a screwdriver to try to open the door. But unfortunately, he is forced to hide once again when he hears the sound of Jerry approaching. Through the gap in the door, he watches as Jerry drags poor Doris out and sucks her

blood

. While this is happening, Doris orders him to stay quiet. He then throws Doris back into the chamber and returns. Charley finally opens the door to get Doris out of the house safely, while Jerry is preoccupied watching TV in the living room. The two go down the stairs and start heading towards the door, until Jerry enters and forces them to leave.
Turns out he's just grabbing an apple. And then he returns to his TV, an opportunity that Charley takes to escort Doris away. But upon leaving, it is revealed that Jerry is watching them with a furtive smile. The two have gone out and it is already daylight, but when Doris stands in the sun, she spontaneously burns, traumatizing Charlie. When she returns home, she warns her mother to stay away from Jerry and to never invite him to her house, which confuses her. At school, he decides to investigate a vampire hunter, whose website Ed kept open on his computer, Peter Vincent.
He then proceeds to track down the guy, which takes him to the location of a theatrical show the guy is putting on. Posing as a journalist, he gains an audience with Peter Vincent in his own apartment, which is decorated with various supernatural hunting weapons. But when he starts asking how to kill a vampire and shows him a printout of the hidden badge he found in Jerry's house, the man calls him crazy and kicks him out. With no other option, Charley goes home, puts in some garlic, and walks across his room. Meanwhile, the school bullies, Mark and Ben, watch in amazement from outside his window.
Jerry then approaches them and, in less than a minute, attacks them. Meanwhile, inside the house, Charley is cutting stakes to arm himself, until his girlfriend shows up and asks why he's been acting so strange. But before she can explain, Jerry knocks on her door to ask Jane to hand over her son, because Charley broke into her house the other day. Jane is surprised to hear this, but decides to trust her son Charley, so she tells Jerry to go whistle himself. This angers the vampire, so he takes a shovel and starts digging in the backyard of Charley's house, pulling out the gas pipe to set it on fire.
This causes the chimney to explode, burning down the house. Now that they are sure that Jerry is dangerous, the three of them pile into the car and begin to drive away. Jerry tries to chase them with Charley's motorcycle, but his front wheel is broken, so he throws it into the car, scaring Amy. When Charley tries to explain that Jerry is a vampire, his mother still refuses to believe him. Shortly after, Jerry slams his truck into the back. He also crashes his vehicle into the side of her car, before overtaking them and blocking the road. Jane panics, but Charley yells at her to keep driving, and she does.
Unfortunately, more trouble awaits them, as Jerry is still clinging to the underside of the car and manages to force his way through the floor of the car. He looks like he's now back to his true form. Charley starts kicking to get him out and Jane finally stops the car once she's gone. But then, another vehicle crashes into his car and the angry driver gets out. It is now that Jerry lifts the car; In his vampire form, he approaches and attacks the driver, draining his blood. Charley then bravely intervenes with a large cross to arm himself, while he tells his mother and his girlfriend to run.
He slowly approaches Jerry, who has now returned to his human form. But surprisingly, the cross only burns when he comes into contact with the vampire, and he easily throws Charley into his car. While taunting Charley about stupid humans and his tendency to fail at heart when betting on vampires, Jane sneaks up behind them and impales Jerry with a road sign, making him scream in pain. At the same time, Jane collapses from her, so Charley and Amy pick her up and the three of them get into the dead man's car. Charley deliberately crashes into his

family

's car, causing it to fall on top of Jerry.
As the family flees the scene, we can see Jerry's bones realigning. The police also arrive at the hospital to ask them what happened, but of course Charley doesn't reveal anything because he

knows

they won't believe him. Meanwhile, Peter Vincent decides to study the printout Charley left in his office the other day and finally realizes that Charley wasn't trying to mess with him. He calls him and asks him to come to his house. Once the three finally converge at Peter Vincent's house, he finally opens up to them. He says that the insignia belongs to a very strong race of vampires that emerged from the Mediterranean and that kept

their

victims alive for days to turn them into vampires as well.
According to him, Charley doesn't stand a chance against this vampire, as killing this species would require an army. Suddenly, Vincent receives a call announcing that he has a package delivered, so he asks the delivery man to come in and tells his girlfriend to bring him the package. However, it turns out that it was just a ploy. Ed enters, now a vampire. Vincent reaches for a crucifixion nail to threaten him, but then cowardly rushes away in fear as Ed chases him, and the sliding door cuts off Ed's arm just as he is about to catch Vincent. While this is happening, Charley and Amy stumble upon the dead body of Vincent's girlfriend at the entrance and discover that the elevator switch is broken, meaning they have to find another exit route.
This leaves them no choice but to hide behind a shelf, while Ed begins to search for them. After the two hit the shelf above Ed, Charley grabs the nearest sword and tells his girlfriend to get to safety. Ed proceeds to choke him and throws him across the room, but Charley gets back up and grabs the ax displayed on the wall. The two confront each other and Charley savagely swings his ax at Ed, until it finally lands on his throat. Across the apartment, Amy arms herself with a gun and silver bullets, just as the vampire Jerry arrives.
She tries to shoot him, but it barely hurts him, since he is meant for werewolves. Not without ideas, she finds the holy grail and splashes the holy water in her face, momentarily incapacitating him. If you think Ed is dead, he isn't; she simply realigns his neck and proceeds to attack Charley, pinning him down and preparing to bite his neck, until Amy intervenes and hits him with a flail. When Ed gets up again, Charley reluctantly drives a stake through his heart, causing Ed to briefly revert to his true self and tell Charley that he is fine before dematerializing into ashes.
After announcing that Jerry is here, the two proceed to escape through a door leading to a nightclub, while Jerry, who has apparently recovered from the holy water, chases after them. Just as the crowd separates them, Jerry finds the girl and drags her away. Using her mental manipulation power, he gets her to taste his blood and completely incapacitates her while he kisses her. Meanwhile, Charley tries to go after her, but a security guard begins to drag him away, leaving him no choice but to watch as Jerry sucks her blood. When he returns to Peter Vincent's apartment later, the man is packing his bags to leave.
Vincent confesses that he had never killed a person before.vampire and who only started collecting supernatural killing devices due to trauma because his parents were killed by a vampire. After listening to Charley promise to kill Jerry, she gives Charley a special stake that is said to have the ability to turn a vampire's victims back into humans when the OG vampire is staked. Additionally, he also informs Charley that a vampire cannot think clearly when set on fire. Charley then heads to a thrift store and purchases several items, including a crossbow. He gets ready and heads to Jerry's house, making sure to break all the windows to let in the sunlight.
Charley then finds Amy inside one of the rooms, but hears her being snatched away shortly before he reaches her. When he goes back out, he runs into Peter Vincent, who is armed and has come to help him. Here they discover a trap on the floor beneath the chamber where Amy was being held and proceed to jump. The two walk down the hallway and pass a door, but unbeknownst to them, Jerry is lurking behind them. He then lifts Peter off the ground and Charley tries to shoot him, but Jerry catches the arrow. Jerry then closes the door, pulling Charley away from him and Peter.
Peter begins to back away as he shoots Jerry, but the bullets don't seem to stop him. Finally, Jerry throws a rock at his forehead, causing him to bleed. Now it is revealed that Jerry is not alone, and the young vampires he bit begin to emerge from the walls of the floor, attracted by the smell of blood. Meanwhile, on the other side of the basement, Charley finds Amy, whose mind is now corrupted by the vampire. She restrains Charley, while Peter begins shooting at the young vampires with his special shotgun, but it jams after a couple of shots.
When Amy draws her fangs to bite Charley, he stakes her, but misses her heart on purpose. Charley then opens the door and, as soon as he sees that Peter is in trouble, he shoots at the ceiling, creating small holes of sunlight to save Peter. Jerry discovers that Peter has been bitten and sees that he is starting to smoke in the sunlight and that he too is slowly turning into a vampire. Charley's effort is not enough, as the young vampires, one of them high school bully Mark, corner the two, while Amy approaches Jerry and begins to kiss him passionately.
With Jerry distracted, Charley uses Peter's lighter to set himself on fire and jumps on Jerry, revealing to us that his suit is fireproof after all. Jerry begins to scream and squirm as Charley clings to him, creating a large hole in the ceiling that lets in more sunlight and burns Jerry. Peter then throws the stake at Charley and he stabs it into Jerry's heart, turning him into dust and walking away. It is at this point that the young vampires turn back into humans, with no memory of how they got to the basement. Both Charley's friends and several other people come back to life, and this is where the movie ends.
