sapphire

that has a purity of 99.99 and a Mohs hardness of nine, don't be confused with many other tempered glass screen protectors that claim to have a hardness of 9h because it can withstand much more, so Sapphire is one of the most difficult minerals to scratch and is typically used in high-end watches. They generally don't use them on phones because it can be quite expensive. The only thing harder than satellite fire is really a diamond and as you can see this screen protector here is certified by Gia, so here we have our screen protector, it comes with a nice cloth bag, we have our installation kit of screen protector and we have a full screen dust removal sticker with a little rubber mat, so the first thing you'll want to do is clean the screen very well with an alcohol wipe, then dry it, then take out the screen protector from the small foam pad and simply place it aside, then remove the full screen dust removal sticker from one side. the sticker on the other side and put it on your phone and then just peel off the other side like this and then peel off the sticker, then we're going to take our screen protector, we're going to peel off this little bottom part where it says new, make sure not to touch the bottom of the screen and where it says top it's going to go to the speaker and the camera of your phone, then you just place it over the phone like this, you can swipe it over here in the middle, so what you want to do is press this big button here and lift up the plastic and it should separate from your phone, then just lift up the plastic and then just peel off the top plastic layer here.

So it looks like a pretty good install, we have a couple of bubbles in the middle here and a little thing on top, but for the most part it looks pretty good and we're hoping these bubbles will go away in a couple of days, but it looks pretty good. As smooth as the glass on the phone, the screen protector looks like it goes all the way to the edges, we'll put it in a case, see how well it works as far as touch goes, everything works. It looks good, the Face ID is very clear and works perfectly.

No issues to the touch, as far as fingerprints go, it does seem to pick up some fingerprints, but they erase very easily with minimal effort, very nice, so far so good, let's go ahead and put it on. Here I have a case. My Rebel phone case seems to fit perfectly. It reaches the edges of the case. I don't see any lifting so it should be holster compatible, but the only way to really know is to use it with the holster. you have done it because all cases are different now we are going to check the camera and see if it interferes with that.

I don't see any problems there, everything looks nice and clear, so all your selfies should be fine, so now on to what everyone has been waiting for: the scratch test. Now you're definitely going to want to stick with this because I'm going to get pretty extreme and in the end you're going to see why they're going to do it. I want to buy a

sapphire

screen protector instead of a regular old tempered glass screen protector. Well, here I have some items that you might have in your pocket, maybe in your bag, some things that your screen protector will probably come into contact with at some point and some things. which you'll probably never come into contact with but it's fun to try out so here we have a key it's pretty sharp it has some new edges this key has never been used so we'll see how well the screen protector holds up.

There is practically no resistance to this, it is just nice and soft. Go ahead and see if there are any scratches on the screen and I don't see any scratches. Okay, so let's move on, so here we have a fourth again. This is something you could have. in your pocket once again, no scratches, so here we have a screw, it's pretty sharp at the end, we'll see what this does again. Still new, no scratches whatsoever, so here we have a razor blade, your screen could get in. Contact this, but you never know, there are no scratches yet, it's new, this screen protector is very hard, so here we go with the drill, if something is going to scratch it, it has to be this, look at that tip it's quite pointy, so here we go, oh yeah. scratch it real good, okay, did it get scratched?

No, it's still new. There are absolutely no scratches on this screen yet. Okay, it's time to go to the extreme, so here I have a regular tempered glass screen protector and I'm going to show it to you. the scratch resistance between this and the sapphire we're going to scratch it on this really rough concrete and this is definitely a material that your phone can come into contact with if you drop your phone so again this is the tempered glass screen . foreign protector doesn't sound very good let's go ahead and look at it I'm almost afraid to look uh that's the tempered glass look it's already cracked it's all scratched so here I cleaned it up a little and you can see how bad some of the scratches really are and which is cracked in a couple different places, so here we have the sapphire screen protector.

We're going to do the same test and maybe a little more to see how well it survives. sounds even worse than the normal screen protector oh god here we go oh wow that doesn't look very good let's go ahead and clean it wow no scratches at all that was just dust no cracks no scratches let's do one more test The Sapphire screen protector se It slides pretty good, no scratches or damage anywhere flawless and that's why you want a sapphire screen protector. Now that you've seen how scratch resistant this screen protector is in normal situations, we're now going to go ahead and move on to most of the options now if you've seen any of my other videos on tempered glass screen protectors.

You know screens usually scratch around a five or six and then get a little deeper at a level seven. Well, this one should last even longer than that, so let's move on. go ahead and we'll start with a level five and we'll go from there as you can see there are no scratches on a level five so now we'll move on to a level six and seven as you can see there are no scratches on a level six or seven so what this screen protector is already more scratch resistant than tempered glass so now I'm going to go ahead and move on to level eight and finally level nine and as you can see there are no scratches. the screen still looks new and the only thing that will scratch this screen will be the hardness of a diamond and that will be a level 10 which most of my picks don't reach so anything you might encounter in your daily life won't you should be able to scratch this screen and it should look like new for a long time.
