Now I loved the first game, since I played it when first came out and now Alan Wake 2 has been released, after a 13e weight, and Remedy went for a more survival horror approach with this one, which fits well with the tone of the

I made a story. explain the video about Alan Wake 1 so if you want to watch it the link is in the description don't worry I will recap Alan Wake 1 before I explain the story of Alan Wake 2 with all that let's get started it's the Year 2010 a famous New York crime fiction writer named Alan Wake is driving pretty fast down a winding road when he suddenly crashes into a hitchhiker, shocked and seeing that the guy is dead, Alan looks away and looks back only to discover . that the man is gone Allan sees a headlight in the distance so after coming to his senses he heads towards it looking back here his car sees the hitchhiker standing there alive and kicking the man now a shadowy figure runs towards Alan and tells him attacks forcing him to run down the path, Alan is contacted by a bright light, a strange figure in a diving suit who calms him down and gives him a flashlight which is used to banish the darkness within the shadow people known as carried along. with a weapon to finish off the attackers.

Forever As he approaches the lighthouse, Allen is chased by what appears to be a dark wind that rushes towards him, he runs and finds refuge in the lighthouse. Alan is attacked by something invisible and then

s up. It was all just a dream. Alan and his wife. Alice, a woman he describes as his muse, is heading on vacation to the small mining town of Bright Falls in Washington state and is on a ferry that will take them to the city. Allan needs a vacation because he is suffering from 2 years. Writer's block after killing off the main character of his popular novel series.

Alice drops off Detective Alex Casey Alan at the Odia restaurant, where she will meet a mechanic named Carl Stucky, who will give Alan a key along with directions to The Lodge. in which he and Alice will stay after meeting an Alan Wake fanatic waitress named Rose instead of meeting Stucky. Alan meets a mysterious black-veiled woman named Barbara Jagger, who tells him that Stucky cannot attend and she gives him a key and directions to The. Lodge instead of thinking about anything Alan and Alice head to the cabin, the cabin in question is idyllic, it is located right in the middle of Lake Caldero, the eighth deepest lake in the world, which is also an active volcano on an island called Diver Island that Alice wanted. her to see if working somewhere different might inspire Alan to write, so she set him up with a typewriter thinking she dragged him there under false pretenses.

Alan becomes angry, but it gets even worse when Alice reveals that she has arranged for him to see an Emil Hartman, a man who helps creative people overcome their artistic struggles. Alan then storms out. Alan hears Alice scream, runs back to the cabin and realizes that Alice has been dragged into the lake and dives in after her, then passes out and

s up. in a completely different place, not only that a whole week has passed and Allan can't remember anything from that week and Alice is nowhere to be seen, he crashed his car, so Alan, dazed and confused, heads to a nearby gas station and is attacked by the same shadowy people he saw in his dream, one of whom is Carl Stucky, the mysterious figure in the diving suit also drops a manuscript At his feet reading the cover the title is the Departing from Alan Wake Alan assumes that he must have written the manuscript during the week he cannot remember and also discovers that what is written in the manuscript is coming true as if it had been written.

The manuscript is incomplete, so Alan finds more pages along the way. Allan then arrives at the gas station to use a phone and contacts the Sheriff's Office, the sheriff finds a sheriff Sarah breaker, she gives Alan shocking news that Diver Island no longer exists and has not existed. since a volcanic eruption in 1970. Breaker takes Allan to the Sheriff's Department where he is checked out. She visits the local doctor and then receives a phone call from a man claiming to have Alice after finding Alice's driver's license outside the station. Allan decides to play along to see what Hartman is up to, and while at the hostel, Alan discovers that Hartman knew the kidnapper, who is a local man named Ben. Nightingale for the past few days had tried to arrest Alan but had failed. anyway miserably in his cell, Allan and Barry are being taunted by Nightingale when he suddenly realizes that what is happening right now was written on one of the pages of the manuscript before he can realize what's next, He is swept away by the dark presence of the doubting Sheriff Breaker.

What was happening is now fully convinced and Sheriff Allan and Barry arrive at Brightfalls Dam where they meet Cynthia Weaver, a lady known to the locals as the Lady of Light, who is obsessed with keeping the lights on. She opens a vault called the Wellit room. Cynthia knows everything about her presence and the dangers of her. At one point she was obsessed and in love with Tomas Zayn and she hated Barbara Jagger, but that is something we will discuss later in the video inside the Wellet room: the object that Thomas St left behind the light switch. or the clicker, an element that can defeat the dark presence.

Alan presses the switch, but nothing happens and he realizes that he needs to return to Cauldron Lake to read the final page that is still on the typewriter. Allan leaves destroys a dark force next to Cauldron Lake, which was being controlled by Barbara Jagger, and dives into the lake. Allan is now in the dark place, then he finds himself inside a dream created by the dark presence and is in his apartment and faces what appears to be an illusion of Alice after seeing an apparition of Thomas Zayn Zayn tells Alan that he needs to go to the cabin at Cauldron Lake to defeat Barbara since the presence resides within her, then another version of Alan is standing next to him smiling.

Zayn refers to this version of Alan as Mr. scratch Zayn tells him that Mr. scratch will return to the real world and meet his friends and loved ones, while Allan remains there in the dark place, confronts Barbara Jagger and finds a big hole in his chest where his heart should be. She claims that darkness. Her presence will only find a new body to possess if she is killed. He places the clicker inside the hole in her chest. He presses the switch that burns out the dark presence. Allan then goes upstairs and finishes the story. He mentions that everything has a price.

In 1970, time is reversed to when Allan dived into the lake to try to save Al, everything is reversed, but at the expense of Allan, who is now trapped in the dark place, Alice wakes up, swims out of Cauldron Lake and reaches the shore, the cabin is gone and Allan is nowhere to be seen, the town seems to be fine again and the stag party is underway, but it seems that the dark presence has now possessed Agent Nightingale and he he stands in the dark looking at Rose, who is holding a lamp and looking terrified.

Rose was previously possessed by the dark presence. Alan is trapped in the dark place and says the words: It's not a lake. It's an ocean and Allan hears Alice whisper and tell her to wake up now in the first of two short DLCs. Allan finds himself in a very different, darker version of Bright Falls and realizes that he is indeed trapped. Alan is finally a version of Barry who initially helps Alan while occasionally mocking him, Zay tells him. Allan's irrational version of himself tries to kill him, but the rational Allen prevails, however, Allan passes out and still wakes up. in the cabin screaming that there is no way out, the second of the two DLC sees Zayn telling Allan that the irrational version of himself is still changing the dark place from inside the cabin.

Alan needs to get to the cabin and on the way Alan is teased. Allan's rational go through Visions thatinvolve Alice and commanding hordes of taken to attack him, the dark presence is trying to ruin what's left of Allen's rationality and sanity, anyway Allan arrives at the cabin and has to fight off an apparition of Barry, he enters to the cabin. and finds a rational Allan on the ground. Allan touches it and the two merge becoming one. Allan then sits down at the typewriter and starts writing a new story called Return, a sequel upon exiting, the game then ends so we can now enter.

The story of Alan Wake 2 We will now discuss the plot in its most basic form, since this story has many twists and turns. I will be splitting the Saga and Allen sections of the game into their own dedicated sections and this I think will help simplify the narrative rather than jumping back and forth between story lines, so with that said, let's start with the story of the game. saga. The year is 2023 and a naked man, cold and scared, emerges from Cauldron Lake stumbling through the dark woods of The Cauldron Lake Campgrounds. The man sees two people on a ledge and the two people go further down the path after seeing visions and hearing voices.

The man is apparently ambushed by a group of people wearing deer masks. A cult of some kind, they shoot the man onto a picnic table and, presenting themselves as the Tree Cult, open the man's chest and take out his heart, They begin to sing but are interrupted by the couple that the man saw on the edge. the cult gives it to Chase and the man is left there on the table a few hours later and after an extensive FBI investigation, two FBI agents head to Cauldron Lake and have been in Bright Falls for a few days and have been investigating three Grizzly murders. the murders of Brightfalls residents Wendy Davis, Ted Lane and Percy Wolf, whose murders were all linked, agents are now heading to Cauldron Lake after the two witnesses managed to evade the cultists and reported the murder to the sheriff of Brille , one of the agents Saga Anderson speaks to. her daughter Logan on the phone and then talks to her partner, Agent Alex Casey.

Casey hands over leadership of the case to Saga and they finally arrive at The Cauldron Lake Campgrounds and speak with the deputy sheriff, a deputy named Mulligan Mulligan explains that the heart was taken from the body and explains that his colleague, Deputy Thoron, is In the crime scene. migan explains that large areas of the camps in the area around Lake Coldon have been fenced off by a government agency called the Federal Bureau of Enforcement. Anderson and Casey meet with an assistant. Thoron explains to them that the victim is a former FBI agent, his agent Robert Nightingale. I guess that now explains what happened to him after he was possessed by the dark presence. Casey really knew him. He explains that night that Andale left the depth and was shot before the events of 2010. When examining the body, Saga deduces that it was a ritual murder consistent with the previous murders. The heart was left there on the table right next to the body. The victim was tied up and multiple footprints at the scene along with the beer bottles indicate that this was a planned and premeditated murder.

Saga and Casey go down to the lake but find their way blocked by a large tree and a rock. The strange thing is that the footprints left by Nightingale show that he walked through this rock. Impossible. Then Saga finds a page of a manuscript, a page full of texts on one side, not a printout written with a typewriter, old school lines crossed out and edits added with a pen, mhm, as if the page of the manuscript of a murderer of stories will leave a message, it is for us. the text is about us, the victim was one of their own FBI special agents, Robert Nightingale, and then there was the page they found, the first step into terrifying depths as you read these words, it felt like a message, it felt like a message, someone knew I was here, someone. playing a game with them an invitation, how could they not accept even if they knew it would end up hurting them?

Saga is considered a very talented agent, she is able to solve cases that others could not understand using her mind. The table was a symbol of a cult indicating that this was the place where they completed their rituals. Saga remembers that she needs to enter something called an overlay and that there she will meet Nightingale on the way to the murder site. Saga meets a local man named Ilmo. Cella is a tour guide from Watery, a neighboring town founded by Finnish immigrants. He is also the owner of the coffee-themed amusement park Coffee World. He is there with an FBC engineer named Steven Lynn, who claims that he is repairing the office's monitoring station after it was damaged by raccoons.

Steven. mentions that the station checks for volcanic activity after mentioning his Swedish Heritage Saga and Casey move on and find footprints leading from the murder site to a flooded area. Saga senses a presence of her using her ability to get into the head of a guy she discovers. that the big tree she and Casey found earlier is something called a threshold like a door. Nightingale also mentions a place called Caldera Street Station approaching the tree. Saga uses light to burn a barrier but she still can't get through it, however, she finds. another manuscript the fuse was in place Saga entered the witch's hut inside a bright light there were objects that stood out for Saga as if the light had manifested them the witch's hut is fine, entering the witch's hut before mentioned Saga finds another manuscript the manuscript mentions that she needs to find Nightingale's heart and give it to the witch, she goes to the door of convenience and confronts a cultist who tries to attack her, she leaves the cultist on the ground and inside a freezer she finds Nightingale's heart and in it the words the wave crashed into the far Beside the mirror after struggling more, Saga places the heart inside the hole in the sign next to the tree and something happens.

Saga is now in the middle point between the real world, in the dark place, she hears things that her daughter Logan screams for help. Saga realizes he is in a loop and has a vision of someone asking him to help them, it isn't long until he encounters Nightingale, he is mumbling and claims that the writer is writing again as expected, and he attacks her, growling something about wanting the light switch. After a long fight, Saga defeats what's left of the former FBI agent and then sees something, who are you? What is this? Who are you? Listen to me.

She also finds out that scratch is there hunting Allan.

She asks how they both came out together, maybe they are tied to each other, so if one goes out, the other goes out too. Saga then obtains the missing page from Allan inside the trailer outside of Watery. Saga had first seen the legendary Wake clicker in the hands of the tree cult. A St cultist scared him. she took out a gun, so leaving the information on the page, Saga heads to the town of Watery and arrives, it seems that Watery is exactly that water and is partially flooded after watching some entertainment. Saga talks to Vladimir Bloom, he drives the minibus to the Valhalla nursing home.

At Bright Falls, patients go on a day trip to Watery, visit SAA, and enjoy music. She claims to have known Saga for a long time. Saga asks where she can find a trailer and Mr. Bloom tells her about the Watery Lighthouse Trailer Park, which is owned by Ilmo Cella. He is there in Watery with her twin brother Yako. They also claim to know Saga and say that everyone in the city misses her. She asks about the cult, but the brothers just think it's an urban legend. She asks them. She sees the trailer park and it gets even stranger.

Ilmo tells Saga where she can find the key to what he says is her trailer. They believe Saga used to live there in Watery and is now trying to figure out what is real and what is fiction. she needs to find out which parts of the return are affecting reality, they explain to her that the trailer park bridge is destroyed due to the flood, so Saga needs to use a side road and go through the cafe world. She profiles the ccel twins and realizes that they really believe. that the cult is real after fighting some taken Saga arrives at the amusement park after Tom Foolery with the safe in the gift shop Saga manages to get the key to the trailer entering the trailer park he meets and talks to the rock brothers from the legendary band the old gods of Asgard t and Odin Anderson Tor is drinking moonshine but he says it doesn't help and he doesn't feel like himself talking to Saga they also seem to know her they seem to know what's going on in the area telling Saga not to be part of the story, they also claim that T is the grandfather of the saga and Odin, his great uncle, ignoring this wild Saga of Revelation enters the trailer, it is full of his things and also Logan's things , it seems he actually lived there in Watery at some point or can't remember if this fiction is becoming reality or is reality.

She finds a photo of Tor and Odin next to a cult member and the cult member is holding the clicker. They appear to be in the Costella Twins motorcycle club. Saga follows them to the motorcycle club. She searches the clubhouse for the clicker and finds emails on the computer that implicate the ccll twins as possible cultists as well. They talk about something called oop and that the cult needs to keep it in the Assembly Hall at all times and that it should only be used for entrance rituals. In the locked back room, Saga discovers that this is in fact the cult's hideout and that the FBC had been monitoring the tree cult for some time below. The hideout takes her to a secret room where the clicker is on some kind of altar that Saga goes to.

He returned to New York and stayed in touch with Alice. They became good friends despite not getting along. when Barry was Allen's agent, Barry started taking care of himself, he lost a lot of weight and joined a cult, no I know what you're thinking, he wasn't the murderous type, he was the wellness type, Blessed Wellness Retreat, and this could be the organization Blessed mentioned in control an organization under FBC observation an organization they call a criminal group parac was run by a man named Chester bless who was mentioned mentioned in Barry's email to Alice what will come from Barry I'm not sure maybe one day we'll see it again, since the FBC issued an arrest warrant against anyone associated with the organization, maybe we'll see it that way, but that's it for this video about the history of Alan Wake 2, I hope.
