Vermilion Club’s 24-Inch “Bamboozler” Pizza Challenge Can Feed 6-9 Adults!!

I will say that the

is delicious, and even if it wasn't, I would say that it is, because Lake Vermilion can fit a lot of bodies. Hello everyone! This is Randy Santel "Atlas" and today I am hungry and very excited! I'm going for overall victory number 1,235. I'm for the first time, practically in northeastern Minnesota, but I'm in Tower, Minnesota. I'm at The Vermillion Club, which is right on Lake Vermilion, but we have a lot of people here, which is very appreciated! Yeah!! (crowd applauding and cheering) I'm here at The Vermilion Club. “Bamboozler” Pizza Challenge.

Now I almost feel "baffled" because people made me feel guilty for putting a bunch of ingredients into this. I have a full hour to finish everything here. Now, the

challenge

is that you must finish a twenty-four-

inch

pizza

, with one topping or more. They let me divide this into quarters. So, I chose four different specialty pizzas. Over here, I have 1/4 Taco Pizza. I already added the taco sauce there. This is another heavy one. This is their "House Special", basically a Supreme with lots of healthy meats and vegetables. This is their Chicken Alfredo Pizza with lots of healthy grilled chicken, along with everything else, and a cream sauce.

All the others have just a regular pizza crust, but this is the Buffalo Chicken without the blue cheese crumbles. So they say it's like two pounds of dough. There are a lot of ingredients here. 1 hour. If I fail, it'll basically be about $60, but if I win, I'll get my food for free. I think I'll buy a nice t-shirt. I'm not sure, but either way I'll put my name and photo on the wall of fame here at The Vermilion Club in Tower, Minnesota. Let's start this

!! Yeah!! (crowd applauding) Very good. Most of the Tower area is here watching today, but many thanks to "Arch", the owner.

He has had this place for over 25 years. Hundreds of people have tried this. On the menu he says it is intended to

feed

families and groups of six to nine people. So, the record is around 22 minutes. Let's shut up and eat. One two three. Come on!! Boom!! Alright. And it is in the squares. Mmmmm!! The buffalo chicken is good!! This taco pizza is delicious. Very heavy, but it's very good. Yeah!! Three minutes and 33 seconds. (Crowd applauding and cheering) My body is fighting back. I'm eating too fast. Everything is sliding down. They say there's plenty of cheese and sauce here too, which makes sense, because this pizza is delicious.

I have leftovers of these two, but I basically ended up with the entire Taco Pizza. If I was already full, I would be really screwed for tomorrow's challenge in Duluth (MN), but no, I feel good. Five minutes and 43 seconds. Alright, we're done. Let's refill my water and then this beer is a cream beer, which I've been enjoying lately, but it's a local beer. It is next to Castle Danger Brewery, very close to Duluth. So let's try this and I'll be in Duluth tomorrow. Oohhh!! That's refreshing! Let's start with something from the special house and master this.

Actually, I should have made Taco Pizza and this first. It definitely has more ingredients than Buffalo chicken. I'm going to make this side and then finish with the Chicken Alfredo. I wouldn't have felt good or proud of myself winning this with just one goal. No offense to everyone who did it, but I have to earn it. I'm not sure about the history, but I'm sure about the brand of the pizza: They call it Poor Gary's, but it's part of The Vermilion Club. The pizza is very good. I've had people like that for the last two weeks since I talked about coming here.

They've talked about how good the pizza is here, and they're right! Alright, it's now 12:38 and I will say, with all due respect to everyone here, that all the people who talked about how good the pizza was here, I also followed up with the question of why the hell. They were so far north, but now that I'm here, the people are amazing and then the nature and everything around here, especially when the weather is better. The lake, there's a lot to do up here. So now I understand why there are people up here, but let's master this pizza!

I will say the pizza is delicious and even if it wasn't, I would still say it is, because a lot of bodies can fit in Lake Vermilion (crowd laughter), but we'll get there. You're almost there, Randy! Horny! Horny! Horny! Last bite!! Oh!! (applause) AAAHHHH!!! I can't say enough about how delicious that pizza was. I am very glad I chose all four options. There was... I think the cheeseburger is an option, and there were other special topping options, but I have the new record. The old record for making a measly "Bamboozler" pizza with just one ingredient was 22 minutes.

The new record, 18 minutes and 52 seconds! Hurrah!! And that's with me sitting down, and that includes a beer too. So, a delicious 24-inch diameter “Bamboozler” pizza challenge.
