I know my brand is launching a couple of months later this year and I won't reveal too many details, but I don't think you'll be surprised if I tell you that it

n't exactly fit the clean girl aesthetic that was very trendy in 2022, so I'm so excited to get back into fallout glam makeup and in today's youtube video I thought we made a lot of fun videos here on this channel trying out new products, we also do a lot of challenges which usually results in my makeup looking pretty bad oh, I realized that it's been literally eons, decades, years since you've seen me do a good makeup routine with good products that I like and actually use, so for today's video I thought we'd do it. just get ready a little bit with us together we can talk about

some fun things coming up let's just talk about our love for makeup so without further ado let's move on well guys first and for once we have to start with our skin. care regimen I already have my moisturizer on since this morning fresh out of the shower, but I'm going to go ahead and apply whipped sunscreen for the holidays.

I swear to God, I'm not getting paid to talk about this product. I should do it honestly, but um. I just think this product is cool and fun because I always forget to put on sunscreen because I have a bad little

2023

I feel like 2022 went by so fast and thank God because that wasn't a great year for me so I'm really excited to be into new and better things and better vibes for this year, a lot of exciting things are happening soon.

I will be traveling over the next few weeks. I'll be here in Los Angeles today and tomorrow and then Wednesday and then Thursday. I'm going to Big Bear for my friend's birthday which will be a lot of fun and then as soon as possible. When I get back to LA, I have three big meetings in a row and then I'm going to Vegas because I'm going to see Adele, we're going to see Adele at her residency, I'm going to see drag racing live and then I'm back from Vegas and then literally the next day Next to get back, I fly to Park City, Utah, because we're doing fun winter content, ski content we know, relief on YouTube videos, so we travel a lot now that we have our skin ready to go, let's start with our foundation now, four foundations today, guys I'm going to show you a new product that I've been obsessed with recently, this is the William Tuttle Foundation, it's now somewhat of an industry secret as celebrity makeovers have been using This has been on their customers for a thousand years, but it's not really a product I've seen talked about in the typical beauty guru community, if that makes sense, this foundation is literally 15 and it's incredibly spectacular in photographs, so let's go I'll be honest with you and let you know and tell you that the shade range of this foundation is horrible, they have like five colors.

I happen to be one of them. If you're interested in New Foundation, maybe check it out, but it's definitely not a product I can recommend to everyone, a product that I literally can't wait to be able to work on and launch for my brand because I have so many ideas. but that's going to be a long way off in the future so now that we have our base set I'm going to use my Patrick top cream contour palette this is in the shade she sculpted and I love the formula of this product it's so bomb and it's like the perfect color for my skin tone, so I'm going to use this as a shitty brush that I found somewhere.

I can only speak for myself here but I personally also got so bored with makeup in 2020. I was going to be real like I just didn't like it I didn't want to be glamorous I didn't want to be creative I didn't care to put it on I feel like everyone is a little stagnant and It didn't really help but the trends on social media and Tick Tock were like clean makeup for girls where girls would literally take like a dollop of a tinted BB cream and like a DOT of some weird beauty blush and end the day like that. . the whole beauty routine, whereas I'm here with a thousand products, but obviously everyone's makeup routine is different, but I'm definitely excited that it looks like real makeup is coming back into style.

I feel like the reason people fell in love with the beauty community in the first place in 2014 15 16 was to learn how to do makeup and they wanted product recommendations from their favorite beauty gurus that they loved and trusted and used. they could relate and they felt like they saw each other and Then, and honestly, I feel like it's also my fault personally when we started making so much entertainment content focusing on so many challenges and all this stuff like doing makeup backwards, doing makeup with different colored lights, doing makeup on everything kind of weird places or with crazy challenges or with crazy products and although those videos were entertaining and gave you a lot of views and helped the channel a lot, I feel like they took away from you, do you know why people love makeup in the first place, that Is it Artistry? and his creativity and you know, learning about the products and how they work and how they perform on different skin types and skin tones and things like that and the guy puts you in the dakarama yeah, I'm not nauseous and I feel like right now everything is on YouTube it's very much like I invited 10 of my friends to keep their hand in my house and the last one to hand it in wins my house and 10 billion dollars and then gives it to someone on the street and those videos are great.

I don't say that suspiciously because obviously those videos are doing extremely well and ours aren't, they're obviously doing something right, but that's not the type of content I want to film or produce for the channel. so I'm excited for this new era of people getting back to explaining why they fell in love with makeup in the first place, because I definitely needed that kind of break, but I'm ready to get back into it too. I use a little bit of my pie tape concealer years and years and years later I still wear it all the time.

I tried changing a couple different ones. I was using the Juvia police one for a while. That elf camel concealer was magnificent. it's its tape form it really

does

something for me it just works for my skin tone it's my skin type it has body although talking about Beyonce and Dubai apart from that amazing performance that thank god people leaked on the Tick Tock cake I don't know if Anyone saw this, just took a brand trip to Dubai and it's caused like the craziest fuss on Tick Tock. Sometimes it seems like the old world of beauty gurus is so long ago, but in reality it was like five years ago that the pie was going all out. crazy brand traps tripping on tar like that was the biggest thing.

I went on a couple of brand trips. I went to Necker Island in the US Virgin Islands with benefits. That was the most fun trip of my entire life. I went to San Francisco with benefits. That was it. I didn't understand it in that video. I started getting popular right after the brand trips were already disappearing, which sucks because I literally wanted to become a beauty guru just to go to the brand traps. they're as fun as, oh my god, flying to a beautiful resort in a foreign country and getting like 5,000 cameras and drones and new iPhones just to sit there and put on concealer like it's a real cake, you've been doing this. literally for years so I don't know why I'm talking to anyone and also it's really surprising to see so much negativity in the comments towards people who do this, it's millions and millions of dollars and you're taking these influencers as Instead you should take their customers, which, yes, in theory could be a really cool idea, but at the end of the day it's marketing and if a brand takes its customers on a journey, I'm sure that would be great, but that's not So.

To get a return on investment, someone made a video and explained it in a way that I thought was really interesting. They basically explained that this cake trip is like the Coca-Cola Super Bowl commercial, that this is the only thing that a brand can spend a ton of money on, hopefully, it will generate a massive return on people's investment. who talk about their brand by buying their products and although there is a lot of negativity online from people talking about this journey, I hate to break it to you guys, but it worked, you are doing exactly what they wanted to happen.

I feel like Tarte has been kind of quiet for quite a while, but in the past, literally, it was really weak. I've seen more videos about the graphic on my for you page and on social media that I've seen maybe since I became a beauty guru, I also saw a lot of people talking about how the girls that were there were posting videos of how prepare and people were so surprised that they were using acid-free products and I actually saw an interview about that from Maureen, who is the CEO of tar, and I thought her response was really fascinating, she said that being on those trips she didn't They pay the influencers nothing to go and they also don't have any contracts, so they don't have certain envelope delivery rules, full transparency when I continued my journey with benefits, for example, I had deliveries.

I had a certain amount of Instagram images and I had to post a certain amount of YouTube includes and Instagram stories. at that time, Tick Tock didn't exist, so it didn't exist yet. Maureen said the goal of these trips is to build relationships with influencers rather than, you know, a trip in exchange for posts, deliverables, and content, which I believe. See the men getting BB owls and then everyone in the room right where I was sitting next to Jennifer, she said, I don't understand why these similar men are getting BP. I said: I need them. I want my man to be like me. I'm angry and I said, "Oh don't worry bro, I'm going to be you, why I'm going to add some setting spray because my face is getting a little powdery and it looks like that too, so let's fix it." The freckles obviously looked crazy, which a lot of people pointed out and I agreed, but the amount. from people who also responded to my story saying: You look so stupid and disgusting like you were so good at making up what happened. I couldn't believe it was really shocking, maybe quite sad because when I edited my photos too much there. Obviously a lot of people who were like that are broke, we know you don't look like that and they were right, but now that I'm trying to be natural and show that it's okay, you know, post your own skill on social media. media, the amount of hate is really crazy, I like it, I couldn't believe it and I was definitely very disappointed so I really hope that isn't a trend this year because I'm certainly going to continue posting unfiltered and unedited photos. that's what I look like oh you know what I want to add a little bit of shine we'll keep it matte I was going to take a little bit of a beautiful little product I don't know what it could be now um and I'm going to apply this directly on this little eyelid regrowth.

It's nothing crazy. I don't want it to be full of a shiny crease, just a little shine. Hey guys, I'll do a quick voiceover for the next couple. I was very excited about this one. I talked about it on my Tick Tock makeup account. so once again, if they aren't following you, make sure you do. I have three samples for my lab, curling, volumizing and lengthening the first two socks, but this formula is actually very good. I'm very excited and I think you guys are going to love it too. Next I just put on some lips using an Anastasia Beverly Hills lip liner and a little bit of lipstick in the middle, keeping it super simple with a nude lip and then last but not least I'm showing you one. one of my favorite makeup tricks right now and that's a really good way to add a little shine to this set without using highlighter and that's cream blush once again so I dove back into the lab swatches the ones I was working on in this beautiful like Dolly Pink Color and I just blended it over all those powders.

I know it sounds super scary, but I promise it works and adds the most beautiful natural glow. Oh just look at my lingo, it looks so impressive and I finally put my face in its place. with some Charlotte Tilbury setting spray and that completes this makeup look.
