Apr 06, 2024

football

crown. I have received quite a few requests from different ones. teams and since the Raiders are coming to Las Vegas I have had some special orders so what we are going to do is start with our 14 inch black frame and I bought this one at Craft Outlet Comm and then we have our decorative mesh our silver and our black with silver, which is also from craft outlet, then we have six different types of ribbons.

which was perfect and these are the other two that I chose and then on this side we have the silver and black stripe so we are going to decorate the

wreath

when we have it all finished with our mesh and our ribbons and I have this for the center plate and this to put around and I love a lot of decorations like that We have some cute soccer hats and that's really, we have some soccer balls so let's clear my table and we'll get started and we'll come back as you can see.

More Interesting Facts About,

football wreath raiders...

I have our decorative mesh out of its package and ready to hang. The first row now has ten loops at the bottom and eight loops in the center, so I always like to push the first ones in the center or the top ones down first and then I just like to open them up to get things going. a little quicker once again, I bought this at the craft store, but you can go to Hobby Lobby, any really good craft store, Michaels, especially now this time of year they have the colored ones in the one store dollar, not so much, so I'm going to take my mesh and I throw it on the floor and then I'm going to take it and I'm going to start shredding it inwards outwards then once I get almost to the middle I'm going to put it in and I'll tell you?

Why in a minute am I going to roll this side in and this side in as well? Okay, once again it folds inward and that's what you want. I'm grabbing it like this and I want to get a good chunk because this This is going to be our little tail and in a second you're going to see exactly what we do to it, so I'm going to go to my crown and I'm going to place it in the first spot that I choose and then I'm going to spin it once. and hold it then I'm going to take the tail, slide it and flip it over to my crown.

Okay, now we have this big tail coming out, but it doesn't look that good, so I'm doing it. I'm going to turn it a little bit so it's not so cumbersome and hold it and grab a zip tie and then I'm going to put a zip tie on it to secure it, thread that thread, yeah, I'm going to hold the other end of the mesh. a little closer to where I want it to be and I pull nice and hard now that it's safely there and not going anywhere. I'm going to take those pliers and I'm going to cut it out, okay, so I have this big piece of mesh. here and I don't necessarily need to keep all of that, so I'm going to trim it a little bit so it's nice and neat and closer to the flange, but notice that I'm still leaving a tail here so it doesn't come out, you never know and I'd like to prevent rather than regret, okay, so I just realized that we still have our tag on, let's go ahead and remove it unless they want to be like the beta pearl if you don't. you know who it is then well you're too young okay so now I've got my mesh on the ground and I've talked about both sides and a little nail we're going to do our first pack and I usually only do one. two two, okay, so I'm going to take it back to the first one, so I'm going to leave it right there, I'm going to pull this one up and I'm going to pull this one down until it's nice and tight, okay, and then I'm going to make sure the ends are tucked in. and I'm going to unfold very nice there we have our first curl, yeah, the same thing is going to pass each other and push in now, if you want to measure your curls, you can absolutely do that, high tech dogs.
Here coughing again, you can measure it if you want, but I don't. I just do it and see that it's about the same height, so I put it down and cross it again. I like to do it twice. and then I took the intz on the sides kind of down so we don't want anything to fray but this is a great mesh that you won't have any problems with anything and I would like to fluff it up so that's number two once further. taking it to the next one and then the next one and then taking it back to the next one which I'm supposed to do one more time Christine, open that twice and anyway it sinks a little bit here and you can do all this when you're done, but I like it go as I go, it's your personal preference, again grab your mesh, go through one and then to the next and place it and cross it twice.
I love this leotard because it's a black one, but it has those iridescent silver stripes and I really like it a lot, so proceed one, two, bring it back and, in that, how cute once again, bring your hands closer, pull back, move on to one or two, return to the next. Wow, it's great that the Raiders are coming. Everyone in the city is very excited. You know how in love we are with our Las Vegas team, the Knights. This is going to be even crazier. Well, now you can see that they are a little close, but that's okay.
There's nothing perfect about home decor, so pick one and then two and give it a whirl, look at how cute it is, turn it down a little bit, let's flip it, okay, once again, moving on from the one that goes to the second one, bring it. back and then as you go forward you can take a look around and see that everyone is basically the same height. I really love this mesh it's pretty cool to get towards our ending so it'll be fun so we pass it on for our final piece and back I'm going to redo that's the ending next and I'll take a look at my others to make sure make them almost the same and make it look good and now we're getting to the end, so okay, we're just going to take our mesh, we're going to r1 and r2, we go back to our place, the first one, some people untie their tie, I don't, I just leave it and just a nice tight tie once and that's here, okay and now.
We're done, we filled all of this out, so I want to get a little bit of a tail with my scissors and have to switch hands because I cut with my right, but I'm ambidextrous, so I'm always constantly confused, okay and then? We're going to cut our mesh all the way to the floor and then we're going to do like we did when we first tied it, we're going to take it and push it through a little rail there at the bottom, okay, I'm going to take my zipper. tie ready and then I'm going to put it in there too.
I'm going to turn a little. I'm going to place it on the wire. Then I'll take our bridle and pass it through. I'm just pulling it a little bit because I want it to fit nice and comfortable. I want it to hold nice and perfect and nice and tight, so I'm going to take off my first clip and let's see that I have a little bit of tail. Nothing crazy, but I'm going to trim it so that when you look at it from the back it still looks good, so my scissors are getting a little dull.
I don't know why I had to get a rotary blade. I think so. I'm going to have to invest in some new scissors, okay, so they're there tight, the beginning and the end, the same bar tied perfectly, it doesn't go anyway, okay, so now I'm going to take all these ties towards outside making sure to remember the bottom, okay? this is coming from where are you sir okay the bottom one has ten and the top one has eight okay so everything was going the same way so now I'm going to open them up and orders have been coming in for a different team .
It is so much fun to make

wreath

s. It's great to do something that makes someone feel happy and brightens their day and they feel good about it. It's always a good feeling. Well, now I have my silver mesh and I'm going to throw that away too. floor again, I'm actually looking down, okay, so bring the bottom normally it's curls. I'm just going to put both hands together coming in and then turning like I did before and coming down mmm, I've selected my first turn. tie, so I'm going to place that there like this and then with my thumbs I'm going to push up and turn, okay, so I'm going to prepare my tie before I turn this over, okay and since this is already on the bottom I just slide it in, flip it over our sheet, and turn it a couple of times.
I hold it there, I grab my bridle ooh, and oh, okay, before I close it all the way, I make sure my mesh is nice and tight here, great, tighten that cut all the way. Now I want to leave a little bit of tail, but not too much, so let's look at the perfect step there and now we have a little tail here so we don't have to worry about it coming out too far and then. The whole unraveling the business thing cost Rafi alright, so once again I make sure I have enough loose tape on the floor ready to go, so I take it in my hands and move it towards the one going towards the two and then I go back to where I want to use it. three fingers and a turn one more time, going from the first to the second and then returning it every time I turn this crown or any crown to go a little further, here I will show you and now, when we turn it like this for some reason I always think of pivot , pivot, about friends and Ross when the couch is stuck in the stairwell, was very funny, it was one of the funniest episodes.
I can't move on to the second one, bring it back to the cattle. I love myself a little. smelly cat - okay, make sure this is going in the direction we want one more time, running it through my hands, going from the first to the second, bringing it back, man, turning it and, like I said, go ahead and poof whenever you want. I just want to make it difficult I listen to what that's going to look like and pivot, hand over to the second one, bring it back and just look to make sure they're almost all the same, you can measure like I said, but I think if you do that method, you're pretty much on target.
I'm going to take this edge and tuck it under one more time, just a second, bring it back to the church, we're getting close to our last pivot, like I said. The reefs have been a lot of fun and some people hang them on their doors to show the neighborhood the team they support and others put them up in their houses which is great when they have team parties and really fun things. My husband is a rather football loving football player on Super Bowl Sunday, he's pretty cool, so we'll go one and two and then bring him back up until now, you can see he's very cute, you're getting the point here, okay, so one more time.
I'm grabbing a little slack in my mesh, throw it at this one and the second one. Oh geez, wait, you're done. It doesn't matter, we already had one. I did not see it. Okay, so now I am. I just got a little bit of that tail again and cut it off, that's really fun for me. Quick mesh. I just wanted to continue and then I just take this and bring it down again through that top ring and flip it over to make sure it's gone. bothering that tape, okay, now I'm going to spin it again. I'll hold it right there when I get my bridle out and let's see, come on, I can do it.
I know that I can. There you go, can you? simply pass it through the three-man bridle. I can lift it up there, let's pull it tight and tighten it tight and when I say I'm pulling the mesh tight from the loop at the top, I'm pulling it just enough to not squeeze. the arch here we want to keep our mesh, oh, a glance or whatever you want to call it, we want to keep it even if we don't want to take it out, so you know, we're just going to cut a little bit perfect, perfect enough, no, that brings us to our mesh rows 1 and 2 top and bottom, so what I'm going to do now is fix some of these.
It's time to cut our ribbon and attach them, so let me clean up this area. Take out our tape and I'll be right back, so I have my table completely clean and as you can see down here, I have all my tape laid out in all six colors, so I think I'm going to put three on the bottom. row and three on the top row and I'm going to cut these ribbons into 12 inch pieces so let's go ahead and move these in and start with the one that I already have open and I just like to use the old Method for measuring and cutting, no using a table.
My husband made me a board, but I'm challenged and couldn't use it very well, so I just measure lengthwise, so I'm remembering which ribbons I choose for the bottom row. I'm going to use ten pieces and then for the top row I'm going to use eight, but they're all going to be 12 inches long, so I know you probably don't want to sit here and watch me cut six rows of ribbon, so we'll fast forward and we'll be Just when I'm done, it's Well, we'll be back very quickly. I'm still cutting the ribbon, but I wanted to show you how to duck the tail if you never have it for me again.
I like the old method. I just like to measure everything. in itself and I have five of them at a time because it's thin and it's easy to cut so you just fold it in half okay you measure them normally then you cut them and you fold them in half and then you just cut them and There you have duck tails, is there a breeze? I'll do it again on this side one more time. I want to measure all the ends making sure they meet just because I'm OCD with my tape, well not many things. uh what's this little guy doing down here come on buddy okay so you put them all together and fold them in half Mort I just like to make sure you take your scissors and fold it at an angle and you can cut it at an angle of anyway? you want and there they are, that's how you make a ducktail.
