Well, you know what we always say around here... There's only one way to know. There's Milo! Hey! That ice cream looks delicious too. I wonder where he's going... Oh, okay, this must be where Milo lives. And it looks like someone is moving. A nice neighborhood, with large gardens. There is a child playing there. And in the distance you can see the city. And it looks like there's another kid here. They are unpacking, the boxes coming in. Looks like a cool place. Milo lived in a small, neat house on a small, neat street we just saw. He loved his house for many reasons, but mainly because...his best friend, Jay, lived next door!

Milo and Jay shared the good times, the bad times and everything in between, because that's exactly what friends do. Nothing could beat the feeling of having a best friend. That's how I feel about you, Doug! That's how I feel about you, Green Bear! You are my best friend! You are my best friend forever! Forever!!! Best Friends Then one day, a new family moved into the big old house across the street, and Milo watched as a little girl ran excitedly around the yard. She smiled and waved and Milo waved back. Hey! Hello! Later that afternoon, Milo went to visit Jay, who we now know as his best friend.

But Jay wasn't there. He had gone to the big old house across the street without telling Milo. I don't know why, but I feel like this is a DUN-DUN-DUN moment..... But I can't be sure we've even started

ing. Jay and the girl were in the yard laughing very hard, and a strange feeling twisted in Milo's stomach. And Milo looks like... what is that? Is that? Is it that crayon that accidentally fell on the

? Or is that green-eyed monster starting to form? Hi Milo, called Jay, I'm Suzi. Isn't this garden amazing? Milo nodded. But the feeling of

jealousy

and uneasiness had nothing to do with Suzi's huge garden and everything to do with how much fun Jay was having without him.
And once again, I feel like this might be a DUN-DUN-DUN moment.... But I really don't know yet. We have to move forward. The next day, Jay went out again. GASP! BROWN! BROWN! BROWN!!!!! Milo knew exactly where he would be, and sure enough, he was outside

ing comics with Suzi, which sounds terrible, but it's really not. It's really amazing. They are reading comics outside on a beautiful day. Then Milo had a horrible thought. GASP!!! What if Jay didn't want to be best friends with him anymore? GASP!!! That's definitely a DUN DUN DUN feeling! And suddenly, the little bit of green and the little bit greener have suddenly become a monster swirling around them.
The uneasy feeling completely took over, and as he did so, something very strange happened...! A green-eyed monster appeared! BOOM! Right next to him! MONSTER MURTURES! Oh! Welcome! Hmm. โ€œIt's not fair!โ€ the Monster murmured. It's not fair. Are those 3 words famous or what? "No fair," the Monster murmured, "Jay's your friend, not Suzi's." From then on, the Green-Eyed Monster would not leave him alone. Every time he saw Jay and Susie laughing, HAHAHAHAHA! The Green-Eyed Monster said that he was being made fun of. "They're making fun of you." And every time he watched them play, the Monster would hiss (HISSS) that they were having more fun without him. "They're having more fun without you!" Oh my god, this monster is freaking out saying... well, you know how they say "Whispering sweet nothings"?
This is the opposite of that. Every time Milo saw Suzi and Jay together, the Green-Eyed Monster made him feel terrible. MONSTER MURDERING! I can't even tell what he's saying, but you know it's bad. So Milo decided to stop seeing them completely. If they came to his house, he pretended not to be there. But he looks who's there. MONSTER MURDERING! If he saw them in the park, he would hide. But he looks who's there. MONSTER MURDERING! And if either of them asked what was going on, Milo would simply say โ€œnothingโ€ and walk away. Day after day, he walked with only the Green-Eyed Monster's miserable murmurs for company.
MONSTER MURDERING! And you know anyone would be in a bad mood listening to that all day. Until one day... what happened? - Suzi patted him on the shoulder. "Why aren't you and Jay friends anymore?" she asked, "He really misses you." And she seemed very upset. And Milo really seems surprised because this guy over there MONSTER WALLS had convinced him that Jay didn't love him anymore. But Jay misses him, and Suzi just startled him awake. The monster said it was a trick. "It was a trick!" That Susie was lying "Suzie is lying." But Milo shook his head.
Go away, Milo. It was time to get rid of that annoying monster once and for all. Yeah! No! Yeah! Mila closed his eyes tightly. He took a deep breath. Let's take him with him. Yes... because we are going to need our concentration and strength for this. And he tried to get rid of the bad feeling! MONSTER PANIC DEATHS! The Green-Eyed Monster protested! MONSTER PROTEST KILLERS! and he muttered bad words! HALF HALF HALF HALF WORDS WORDS WORDS WORDS! But his voice became quieter... QUIETER AND quieter MURBLINGS SOFTER AND quieter MURBLINGS IT DISAPPEAREDAAAA Until finally it disappeared completely Peace and quiet.
We are free from murmurs. Good job with concentration. Finally, Milo could see the truth. The Green-Eyed Monster had almost ruined everything. See, he's thinking backwards. He was the one. Look at that face! That evil face! He was the one who was breaking up. He was letting the Green-Eyed Monster come between him, his best friend, and this perfectly nice new kid on the block who also deserves to have new friends, right? He now he did the only thing he could. He said, "I'm sorry" and he really was. And you know what? When someone says "I'm sorry" from the heart, you notice it.
Soon, they were all friends and laughing and playing together in Suzi's garden. Milo smiled. Look at this happiness and joy! Much better than that murmur, right? Nothing could beat the feeling of having a best friend...except...having two! Oh! For a moment I thought it was all over for poor Milo. He was making me a little annoyed, to tell the truth. You see, Green Bear, when you have a big heart, you can have more than one friend. Yes you're right. I don't know why I ever doubted it. You just have to be confident in what you have.
Doug the Dinosaur, I couldn't have said it better. I bet you've never been jealous of anyone, Narrator. Oh no. I've been jealous. WHAT?! Oh. He's about to get real now. I can not believe it. It's true! It happens, boy, to everyone. He does! He passes it to you. He passes me. He happens to everyone you know. Because you want something you don't have or you think someone else has something that should be yours. But what Doug said is exactly right! Oh? What did I say? The part where you said you have to be confident in what you have.
Oh yes, I said that! Yes, you did it. Yes, and I think to myself: What do I have that other Storytellers don't? I've got you, Doug the Dinosaur. Awww.... I have a future president. THE GREEN BEAR LAUGHES. I have you. And how could he not be super satisfied with that? Until next time, boy.
