This is my micellar water, ultra cleansing, makeup removing and soothing. I have it in the refrigerator. I want that really cool fresh feeling. I'm using my Shishito cotton. I feel so luxurious when I wear this cotton. It is one. one of my favorite things to do because it makes me feel like nothing is scratching my skin. I've told you several times about cotton micellar water that stings and cools my skin feeling good and now I'm going to start just prepping my skin. with bobbi brown face primer it is called face base. I have used this for years.

I appear a lot on my channel and I'm going to keep it simple. I'm going to work on this and it's going to be very hydrating. My skin and I set it for the rest of my makeup. The face primer is on my skin and I add a little Kaiser Weiss for the eye balm. I love this product because I love the formulation, it's not greasy, it's not too heavy, but it will really be a base. that eye area if you have dehydrated skin around this eye area if you actually see your concealer if you see your product sitting on your skin a you need to cleanse your skin properly b you need to exfoliate and exfoliate properly and don't over-exfoliate and don't over-exfoliate things and don't exfoliate too hard and you need to moisturize, you need to find the right moisturizer, whether it's a balm, whether it's an eye cream.

I've shown you several different ones that I like, Lancome, I love it, I still love it. I have some of that left, I found it the other day, because I know a lot of products that I experiment with and I was looking for it and I thought: where are you? and there you are, so I love Lancome. I love the Kaiser Weiss with the balm. I love moisturizing the eye area because this is the first thing I see when I look in the mirror and think, "Oh no, my skin looks really tired, so let's jump right into doing the eye." primer, so let's prep the eyes, you can see the discoloration, it doesn't look good, so I'm using my eye primer that I always use and I go straight to the bottle, I go from the base of my lashes to my brow bone and I work it so you'll see that this discoloration will just disappear once you put the eye primer back on there's not a lot of product ladies less is more and I really believe that and I really tell you that. that's because I think a lot of times we think, well, if it's a little bit like when we work with retinol, oh, it's going to be great, I'll use more, I'll get a better result and, actually, no, it's necessary. to use the right amount you don't need to dispense too much product so you can see this discoloration which doesn't look good because we're going to use a strong infusion so you can see this doesn't appear everywhere.
Look at these beautiful colors, they're like those cocoa colors, so if I'm going to put cocoa colors like cocoa color on my eyelid, it's not going to come out the way I want it to, it's going to blend and it's not going to come out the way I want it to. To look pretty, I first need to lighten this eye with this. Someone asked me recently. Can I just use peach on the eye since it is a peach color to highlight the lid? I told him no, that is the wrong formulation. It's all about formulation, ladies, and you could. you touch a product and say oh, it feels the same, it feels like it's the same type of formulation, not at all, the formulations are not very specific for certain products, so you can't just use peach, it will be too emollient and it will crease and it's not going to set your eyeshadow correctly, so you need to use the eye primer, you're going to get that hold, you're going to get exactly what you need with the eye primer, the eye primer is on, we're going to go well in one strong drink which is really pretty, the whole matte palette so if you like mattes this is the palette for you so you have a very pretty off white color, taupe color and then a chocolate color so I'm going to move on to the medium color. here and I'm just going to put the base here I'm going to put the whole lid, it's not a big task, it will look very beautiful again, I still intentionally put the product on the lid, but since I'm using more neutral colors, I don't have to to be so precise when it comes to putting this on, it looks really really pretty and again we're going to take our blending brush that we brought out with the new one that I brought out recently. blending brush just to work everything together, so I'm going to flip the brush over and I'm going to use the lightest color under the brow bone and you know, I like to just layer them so they show up. seamless and wouldn't you know it, it looks like they're competing with each other, so I'm going to take my tapered blending brush, it's like a little pencil and I'm going to use the darkest color.
I have talked a lot. to you about how brushes are really your best friends, they do all the work for you so if you use the right brushes you won't have to work as hard especially when you have highly pigmented shadows so those are really your two tips more important. when it comes to applying eyeshadow correctly, having an eyeshadow that is pigmented so you don't have to layer and layer and layer and ask where is the pigment pat, where is it on my eyes is very frustrating and then having brushes They really do the job. again i don't have anything on my skin so no concealer foundation, nothing that i can sweep away if i feel it's gone down a bit and it always does so i don't have to worry.
To just clean that up, I'm going to leave it like this, go in and do the other eye, so I've got the eye shadow on. Now we're going to blend, just take the blending brush and we blend it all together really nice and simple. and when you're working with matte or glossy colors and they're in the lighter family, you have a lot of room to work all of this together and it looks beautiful, so now I'm going to grab my one pad. and I'm going to sweep, so if there's anything that's under my eyes, it's going to come off very easily, like this so you can see, so go to the corner and lift up because you want everything to be up and up, which is like the story of my life, like my life's motto, up and up, up and up, so now we're going to get into the

eyeliner

technique.
Now there are two things I want to teach you about all of this. concept with lifting your eyes, you can come in with eyelids by design, you know, I have done several videos on liz by design with oh, the creator and owner of the company with all my fierce older ladies, we had a very good example where we had the extremely narrow eyes on this fierce

aging

and we really raised our eyes. It was incredible. It's not magic. It is not. You know, it's a pretend product. It really works if you work with it and apply it correctly.
It takes some time. Ladies, it's not easy, it's not easy for me because I have, you know, more eyelids. I have bigger eyes, so if I want to remove this eyelid and make my eyes look more awake, not as tired, you know, I had that surgery with the neurofibroma. That was removed so I have more skin on this side so sometimes I think, you know what I want a little boost, I want my eyes to look a little more awake or like I used to know what they were like and I'll do that. use your eyelids by design so this is something you can do if you have very droopy eyes if you can't see your lash line put them on to hold the skin it's beautiful the sole creator owner of this company basically created them for herself and you should really watch her tutorials and see what her eyes look like when she takes them off.
It's amazing so its name is Britain and I think this is a great product that a lot of women can use. I really like that, so if you have that problem, you can refer back to all the videos that show apps that show you exactly what to do to lift that eyelid first if you feel like, oh my gosh, my eyes are so heavy or They won't be able to take this technique, that's what you do, so first we're going to curl our eyelashes so they're facing up and now I'm going to use my dark raincoat. chocolates this is going to be a really great dark chocolate because you don't want to use black it's a little hard you can use mauve you can use navy blue it just depends on what you want to do but this is the lifting technique. the eye, so what we're going to do is show you my technique that we always do, where we go to the base of the lash and you're working the eyeliner into the lashes, so base, I don't know why.
I started on the left eye, so here on the right eye, so you can see, I'm on the lash line, I'm not the tight line, I'm not lining that waterline underneath, I'm basically going to go in and make it See how my lashes are thicker so I'm not taking up all that space with a big thick line. I'm going in and I'm really giving that beautiful definition and structure to my eyes, so I have the eyeliner on and you can see the difference between being Lined very, very tight on those lashes, which makes them look thicker compared to not lining them. now.
I didn't go down completely. I've always taught you to stop in your tracks if your eyes drop. You always want to lift what you want. What you're going to do is lift your eye and find your last eyelash here and from that eyelash you're going to go straight up the eyelid, so basically you're going to lift your eye. In the end we are not going to do a winged eyeliner. I can't even do a winged eyeliner because this little crease comes and goes and it looks sad and it's not what I want and I'm not 20 anymore.
I could do it in the past, but I can't do it, so I just focus on what my skin does and how my eyes age. uh, you know, I accept it, I love it, okay, so let me do a different technique, don't do it. being upset because I can't stretch it out to the end and look like the girls who are in their 20s and 30s right now. It's great, in fact, I'm really excited because I have all these new techniques that I can do, so you're going to Move it up at the end so you can see that you have that beautiful definition, that beautiful liner and then at the end it appears, but It's not like it comes up.
I mean, you can do what you need if you have the eyes. You can bring it up a little bit more and then try it, but for me I have to stop a little bit here because it's just going to get lost in that crease, but the illusion is that you're looking up, it's cool. tech ladies, so you can see, I'll have my entire notebook, this is exactly where I'm going, so there's nothing there, so the line is shorter, it's right there on your tab, on your last tab and then the you lift up and you go as far as you can go before it gets like wait, here comes my eyelid coming down so I can go right there and I'm lifting my eye up.
I'm going to do the left eye now so I already have both done and the ends are up they are going up and this is very subtle don't expect this to be too dramatic unless that's how you want it to look but I'm excited to be able to get that line and then I can make it go up. I'm going to apply mascara, so you know, why don't we put on some primer? First let's apply a L'oreal voluminous foundation. This is a white base. Another great

trick

if you have short eyelashes, if you don't have many. lashes if you want more volume if you want to have more of that fluffy lash look, you're going to apply this white mascara, it's basically your base, you don't want to go too crazy with it because wherever you put it, this is where your mascara will be.
It's going to grab, so you want to make sure you're pretty precise when applying this primer. The primer is on. Let's use beautiful mascara again. My wand is very flat and has teeth, so it really grabs those lashes. it just grabs it and gives you that beautiful separation, that layer, so that's what we really need as we get older, we really need a brush that helps us not just brush through the lashes and make them clumpy so you can see how beautiful they are now. so we did that little lift at the end. What you can do is focus on thateyelash.
Because I have? It's a tongue twister that last tab or tab and pulling up so you give more to that end and go up. So actually, it's all about lengthening and giving that illusion that your eyes are being lifted, so again with that mascara, it's all about directing how you're doing it, maybe do a little bit more on those wispy tips to emphasize where that's the mascara on, you know, this is like a little pick-me-up if you're feeling a little down because you know how much I'm getting older or things aren't the same or it's frustrating.
I've been there, I've been there, I've sat here many times doing tutorials and I'm like, "Okay, we're just going to delete the whole video because I'm not feeling it. I feel like nothing is working. We've all been there." Ladies, so it's all about finding the technique that works for you and these are really fun, it's so fun to be able to lift your eye and not feel like you're doing a big task, you're just doing a great job with the eyeliner. you can change the shape of our eyes, you know if you line your eyes to be round, you'll have this round eye and you'll be like, wait, that's not what I want or if you line your eyes and just make that part of the wing that you're going to lower the eye It's amazing what makeup can do.
The illusions that makeup can have. So let's use some eye brightener. This is gonna be great. to just brighten the eye area here is going to be a good failed touch up so I use it like a concealer. This is just my technique to get my skin into this darkness. We really want to address those ladies I have. been really strong on teaching you how to cover up that blue and that gray and that darkness because it's definitely a big change when you're doing your eye area and you want it to be really nice and bright.
The eye brightener is on and I know what I can apply with my concealer brush and I can apply it or I can just apply it with my buffing foundation brush, which I like to do. I can apply it or I can apply it with my flat brush. You can just work. Sometimes the flat brush is easier because it's flat, so it can go under the lashes and come in here, like this, and you just smooth it out and then I'm going to use my favorite Chanel, this one is with the aquamarine which is very light. with spectrum spf 15 this is a really ultra light skin perfecting foundation and I just like to pour a little bit on and then this one is in pink beige number 12 of course you know anything that says pink I buy and then it just happened to be the correct color, so I'm going to apply this on my skin.
I would put it on your neck. What do you have? I'm wearing this shirt that I just bought recently and I just washed it for the first time and I washed it like I was supposed to. I'm fine with heavy, but I feel like I see a little bit of blue turning into white and I'm not very happy with this, so I thought you know what my fall project is. Am I going to laundry school because I have to learn the real thing? I just realized this. I was looking at the back of a label because you know I have a lot of shipments and things that are old, I mean, from the 80s.
I don't know, but they give you all this like I don't know, it's like a dictionary in the back of the label about what you can and can't do with the symbols and I say I don't know anything about this. symbols and then I was on Google and then I thought I need to go to laundry school because I need to know this because it's so important I want to preserve everything that I bought and that basically pretty much you I know I won't be able to find it again because you know I told you it's like a sport for me when I find all my little conservation from my closet.
It's fun, something I like to do. Now let's fix the makeup to have my nikita banana is back in stock this is my triple milled highlighting powder. I love it because it doesn't add a lot of weight to the skin, so I'll just use my powder brush and just go. under the eyes I put the powder, I usually put the powder in the T zone because that's where I get the shine, so I like to go underneath, now we're going to add a little bit of color. I didn't use the cheeks, so I'm going to Basically put my Palm Beach on putting on a little bit of cream blush, which is really pretty.
I'm going to add this really pretty color to the skin, it's like a warm apricot and I'm going to give that look to my skin. It gives it that fresh touch, it was looking very monochromatic right now, okay, so we have a little bit of color in the skin. I'm going. I take the risk. I'm going in with Tom Ford. It's called true coral. I know it's probably going to be too bright, but I'm going to challenge it, so I think I can wash it out a little. I haven't used this before. I haven't bought a pair.
I think I bought it at the beginning of the year and I haven't worn it, but at the same time I bought this Clarins called orange red and this one is 741 so it's definitely bright. I put this on and thought: wow! like at the beginning of the year but I thought you know what I like this nude eye with a little bit of bright coral let's see you can use poppy it would be the ideal lipstick to use I don't have it in front of me so I'm just going to use cameo so this is just a nude pencil just to line my lips basically my lip color don't panic I know this is going to be bright when I put it on.
I'm going to work with this, it's actually quite creamy. I was really surprised, but it's pretty powerful, so let's turn it down a little bit, dry it down, and still have that powerful color, but let's start with the shine. to tame it, so I toned it down a bit. I like the explosion of color. I think it's very pretty if you like shiny lips. I think the true coral is very beautiful with Tom Ford. Yes, it is more expensive. You can go to the beach house I have on my line. You could try something like Clarins.
This will be more of that orangey red if you like to cut it more with the red that's not so coral or you can just do it. challenge on your lips and have that beautiful coral but more of a wash of color so you can do a lot of different things ladies, but the point is that it's about lifting your eyes and finding techniques that work for you as you get older, that It's what I'm here so you know we're here to move and ebb and flow and be like, oh, you know what I used to do.
That beautiful winged eyeliner, but my eyes, don't you know? Don't do it anymore, my eyes. I don't love that look anymore and then we basically turn around and do things that really make us happy and we do a little technique where you can just raise your eyes and at the end you look in the mirror when you're in the car in the rearview mirror and you go like this es, my eyes are raised today or you use eyelids by design and you don't put on makeup because that's how it is, I showed you with makeup but it's very difficult to use little tape and then try to put on makeup, you don't even want that, tighten those eyelids, keep it super neutral and put on the eyeliner, lift it up and put on those lashes with the mascara, that's all you need, maybe you want to highlight. your lip with a very shiny shine, so it's the tensions in your lip, not in your eyes, it's beautiful, there are so many options, ladies, I want you to feel comfortable, I want you to learn, I want you to go out, I want you to experiment and feel very good to yourself and until my next video, see you later.
